BIRTHDAY STORIES!!! My sister @landalandalanda was my sons teacher before and had him keep deoderant and hygiene items in her class room. I knew my son could get super fonky 🤣🤣🤣🤣and I appreciated her for making sure he at least made attempt to get his smells undercontrol! It's like we fail to read and overstand what's at stake. "Children's aid" of whatever district your are in is not for your children or family....it's actually a pipe line to various institutions especially prisons....do you know how many people who were once in care end up in prison...all this can happen cuz the community/village has resolved into letting CORPORATIONS get involved in family affairs.....don't cry over what's going on at that imaginary border when this is going on todey 9 to 5 in your neighbourhood. Nas - Street's Disciple (Disc 1) (2004) Street's Disciple is Nas' first album in 2 years. 2 years isn't really that long of a time but it was enough time for Nas to put together a 25 song double album with 2 discs. Seeing as this album is so long and possibly split up for a reason; (I haven't heard disc 2 yet) I'm going to rate both discs separately in case Instagram's character allowance may not be enough for me say everything i want to about such a lengthy double album. This far into Nas' career he's still constantly experimenting with different flows and beats. The tracks "A Message To The Feds, Sincerely The People" and "Sekou Story" have sudden beat switches halfway through the song that dramatically change the tone of the song. The tracks "Sekou Story" and "Live Now" are connected to each other in such a genius way. I can't recall Nas ever doing any sort of concept like this before, but I love it. It sort of reminds me of how the songs "Castle" and "Arose" Connect to each other on Eminem's latest album. Although I don't consider any of the songs on the first disc to be Bad, there are a few that are defenitly skippable or just feel like routine Nas tracks that we've heard in some way before. Overall this first half of Nas' Street Disciple is a great listen with some new aspects we haven't heard before. Feel like I'm saying this a lot about every Nas album, but his lyicism and flow is consistently incredible yet again. Im givingn this half an 8.5/10. Second half is coming soon!
