She pulls a slim package out of her jacket pocket, and slides it over to Crisanta. "My brother - you know, Punch, the real tall freckleface in the board game club? He wanted to make sure to get this to you today. And I added in a little somethin' somethin', too!"

Inside the package is a small pack of wooden travel puzzles, nestled into a bright yellow-and-green hand-knit drawstring bag. "Hope you have fun with these. Happy birthday!"

scar is strong and grian has hollow bird bones, which means that scar can scoop grian up so easy, and it's flustering as hell for grian. he's never known anyone who could pick him up, hollow bones or not. it makes his heart race every time, and he sometimes intentionally provokes scar into picking him up. grian is still flustered those times, too. scar is completely oblivious to this until they're already together and grian tells him about it—and then he makes a point of doing it all the time, and it's never any less flustering

so i haven’t personally come out to anyone recently bc i’ve been outsourcing it (getting my girlfriend to do it) & one thing i’ve noticed is that ppl will say a lot more than they would if you were there. for example fran from english class apparently said something along the lines of “yeah i figured. i mean they look like a man anyway” & my girlfriend’s sister just straight up guessed it before my gf even told her (“do they use they/them pronouns” literally a couple hours after meeting me for the first time (in a setting where i was introduced as a cis woman). glad i give off the impression of someone who uses pronouns. thank you)
