celebi: ever since i watched the movie as a kid celebi has had such a special place in my heart <33 no words can express my love i just see celebi and i go :D !!!!!!! i drew her all the time as a kid th scene of her eating berries with pikachu is what world peace looks like actually

reuniclus: i have no idea how this sentient jellybean shot up my ranks so intensely but i love reuniclus SO much its /easily/ my fav non-legend/mythical. also unova is my favourite gen of all time and whenever i replay it i always make sure to have a reuniclus right alongside me <3 also has an s tier shiny though ive never gotten around to hunting one of my own :')

alcremie: SHES BABYYYYY i love the design so much alcremie is so CUTE i love the evolution gimmick i love collecting my favourite swirl and treat patterns i love naming them after pastries idc that they suck to use in battle also did i mention they are so goddamn CUTE . god . i love alcremie. ruby swirl superiority btw.

latias: similar to celebi in that i was endeared through the movie :') i am choosing to disregard the stuff with ash, the latias/latios storyline made kid me B AWL. also probably has one of my favourite shinies of all time, also her cry is so pretty it sounds like she is purring, Also when i played emerald and didn't know what it meant when u picked blue or red in the postgame my dumb ass picked blue and was so upset that I couldn't get latias so now i have to make up for it . also has a miku collab . also -

glaceon: is any pokemon favourites list complete without An Eeveelution,,,,, i think Not. it's always a tossup between glaceon and sylveon for me but there's just something abt how sleek and elegant glaceon's design is . its so good. idc that shes not one of the more competitively viable eevees i love her and her sassy bangs <3

ninetales: last but not least ! nostaglia aside, for a lot of the gen 1 mons i feel they're just. overall less memorable compared 2 the flashier designs of the newer gens but ninetales is SO classic . the kitsune concept will never not be fantastic she's so elegant so graceful so beautiful . alolan ninetales is also stunning but the original is already perfection I don't think the regional form can top it. also was my very first shiny hunt!!! my shiny ninetales is named nami and she is safe in pokemon home <3

Blowing away all my previous writing records! Next week I’ll pass 60k published words on one story, beating my old Nanowrimo record (and that was a lot of unreadable stream of consciousness drabble, not a coherent, researched, beta-ed, work other people are actually reading!)

What are your favourite top three fics you wrote this year?

Red Tape (Doctor Who (2005))  (1,276 words), G – this is just a fun one shot with 14 and a bad ass administrator Donna moment.

Before She Knew Me (Doctor Who (2005)) (17,442 words), 14th Doctor and Shaun Temple end up on a little adventure that touches on both their past and future. Guest starring River and Jack.

Good Works (Good Omens (TV), Good Omens - Some Guy & Terry Pratchett) (currently 52,526 words) My 1980s political human AU.

What was your biggest pit of despair moment?

I knew I was going to take a break while travelling in October so I had spaced out publishing to make sure I didn’t leave things on a cliffhanger but I didn’t know I would get COVID on the flight back and then, just as I was recovering from that, get hit upside the head by a election-triggered existential crisis. There was a while where I wasn’t sure I would get it together to come back to writing but, six weeks later I got another chapter up!

What have you learned?

Long stories are hard – especially if you insist on publishing each chapter as it’s written. Because you will figure things out later in the process that you could have threaded through the earlier chapters. Knowing the whole story is pretty important if you really care about building towards a conclusion that is both surprising and coherently unsurprising because it all clicks together, as it should. 

I don’t know if I can write without the comments and kudos along the way, but I would like to try getting through a whole work before publishing just so I can see what it’s like to have the whole draft open and editable when it’s all worked out. 

What fic did you want to do but never made it off the ground?

I loved the Rogue character in Doctor Who and I made a few bullet points about having Ruby and Rogue run into River (and yes, all the “r” names get called out early on). It would have been a Doctor Light french farce in space. But the mood passed and I don’t think I’ll come back to it unless the character makes another appearance and I’m more inspired. 

Did you beta any fics? Any favs you want to shout out?

Only casually. I do want to look for more opportunities to ‘give back’ to the community in 2025!

I did get a chance to give early feedback on Headlong and I’m excited to see where that goes.

What three fics have you read this year that you love?

Haha, 3? Man, top 30 would be hard enough. 3 is comical!

I’m going to skip the BIG CLASSICS and shout out some less well known ones that really grabbed me and keep bringing me back.

Rearrangements by sheendav E, 60k, Human AU, the slowest burn possible (they don't even talk for like 30k)

What ideas are percolating for next year?

Untitled Wine Mom AU for the Ineffable Wives – Recently divorced Angela moves to town and meets single mom Antonia. Can they figure out how to survive carpools and PTA meetings? And maybe some healthier coping mechanisms?

“Nobel Prize for Idiots in Love” – Two brilliant scientists vying for the prize and totally failing to discover what’s glaringly obvious to everyone around them. Tell me in the comments if either of those sound like something you would read!

GOOOOOODDDD ISTG I HAD THE SAME EXACT THING IN MIND cuz like i love cats ok they r the sweetest most pure creatures on earth and they r my favs EVER but i also love dogs right but when it comes to MY men i love it when they r more of a cat person cuz i just feel like that says a lot about them and their personality????? my name is kayla! my pronouns are she/her. i am seventeen years old and i’m a fan of the rainbow high doll line and web series! my original account was @jett-dawson but i decided to move here since that account was a secondary account (plus it was already so full, spammed and cluttered, i thought a new beginning would be nice for now)

i’ve been a fan of rainbow high since about july/august of 2020, thanks to a friend who shared the teaser trailer for the web series! i was very excited to hear about a new cartoon. i’ve never really experienced “new cartoon hype” so i immediately decided to join the (very, very small) fandom here on tumblr and instagram. i was very quick to make a blog here and begin making video edits on my instagram

i’m a doll collector

i’m a beginner collector when it comes to dolls, and i most definitely don’t know everything about every doll line. i got back into dolls a little over a year ago with my childhood fav, monster high, but rainbow high really enhanced my love for collecting. i also collect a bit from ever after high, disney fairies, star darlings, barbie, etc. i want to try to get a few bratz and lol omg dolls as well! my collection is v small atm.

i have way more ships than these! as you can tell, i’m a mega multi shipper. i basically see potential in almost every (appropriate) pairing!

IMPORTANT

there is a problem with the rainbow high franchise. there is a serious issue with diversity (well, lack of diversity) in the doll line and it needs to be stopped. with diverse mga doll lines like bratz and lol surprise, why cant rainbow high be the same?

the racial issues can be seen in the whitewashing through the official artwork, the repeated eurocentric features, and most recently the new rainbow high merch

thankfully, the rainbow high web series seems to be doing its best with handling diversity. the very lovely casting director, Jenny Yokobori, is very cautious when casting actors and actresses for the characters of colour. she makes sure to have a diverse cast for the characters. the animators have also been giving the characters of colours their respective skin tones, unlike the official artwork.

another issue within the fandom (and doll lines in general) is sexualization. notorious artists like m/ntystr/p in the fandom have been known to not only whitewash these teenage girls but also put them in highly suggestive poses and outfits. they go so far as to add inappropriate commentary on their posts and in their hashtags. instances like these need to be stopped at once. listen to others when they say why and how this is wrong. spread the word to help avoid accidentally/unknowingly supporting people like this. stop the whitewashing and stop the sexualization.

1: do u have a favourite playlist? what songs make up that playlist?

this’ll sound vain but i’m very partial to my do-you-ever-yearn.jpg playlist that i made last year, which includes songs like fair by the amazing devil, the cover of friday i’m in love by phoebe bridgers, and the cover of time after time by iron & wine.

2: fav season & why!

AUTUMN, always has been and always will be, mainly for the rain and the trees changing colors (theoretically since i live in southern california and barely get either), and halloween, and my birthday.

3: comfort movie/tv series & why

well, my comfort movie is treasure planet and my comfort tv series is black sails, which ironically both obviously come from the same origin, treasure island (which was one of my most favorite stories growing up) but i think the reason they touch me so personally is because they both so effortlessly show the selfishness and selflessness of love (and how often those two overlap) in a very specific and authentic way that no other media has been able to capture for me.

4: if u were transported 2 an antiques shop that seems to sell everything under the sun, which objects wld catch ur eye first?

always, always, ALWAYS the books, first and foremost, but then probably the containers cause i LOVE finding cool old boxes to keep stuff in, and then the random objects like old candelabras and figurines and art that i could imagine came from some far off continent.

5: u’ve won three plane tickets 2 anywhere in the world, and everything will be paid for. where r u headed?

1st trip: the swedish alps in some far off cabin where i could just stay and learn to breathe again; 2nd trip: ALL of italy specifically in the countryside but also with significant time in rome, florence, and venice; 3rd trip: ALL of great britain, which has been one of my greatest dreams for almost my entire life.

6: so i’ve started watching black sails (mostly out of curiosity after seeing the posts u rb)— what wld u say is ur fav part abt the show?

ok first, YOU HAVE TO TELL ME HOW YOU’RE ENJOYING IT SO FAR, LIKE PLEASE RAID MY DMS AND TELL ME❣️ now second, without giving anything away cause i don’t know what you do or don’t know, i’d say aside from all the connections and build up to it’s origin (treasure island) throughout the course of the show that make me want to run around screaming, i just absolutely love and adore the core running theme of storytelling at the heart of the series and how much the series stresses how stories shape our perceptions of others and our societies/civilization and our history.

7: r u a night owl or an early riser? — if u had no obligations (work, school, etc)

early riser, cause i genuinely like to feel like i have a full day to accomplish all i want to.

8: ur given an unlimited amount of materials and resources to build ur dream home. what does it look like?

oh.....i definitely know i’d want it somewhere along the upper west coast (like oregon or washington) and for it to be a decently sized two-story, i’m thinking maybe periwinkle blue with a ruby red front door, with a full white deck porch and a beautiful, thriving garden out front, and just lots of great trees all around, and inside would be warm and cozy with tall book shelves and fireplaces, and art on the walls, and a kitchen full of herbs and copper pots and pans....[sighs]

I’ve published about 29 works to my ao3 in 2020, with only one or two being kept unpublished for whatever reason. This year wasn't as active as other years for me but I do know that my writing hasn't suffered, and I've been impressed with quite a few that I’ve published this year! So here be my top five

falling (E). Okay so this fic may not be the best work I’ve ever done, but I'm proud simply because it’s one of the longest fics I’ve ever written, the word count may not be as high as other people’s fics but for me it was a real big boy fic. It was originally just going to be an excuse to write a throuple kinda thing but I managed to put in a lot more plot than I’d previously expected. This fic is defo an achievement for me. Plus I managed to rope Ruby into helping me out with it and when we have our writer to writer moments it really fuels my soul.

taste tester (M). Bit of a controversial fandom to be calling my fav fic but I do not care, this was a fic that got me out of a writing slump and got me back into the groove, that and it was the first piece of fic in a while where I focused on feelings and characters over smut (shocking, ik) so I really cannot overlook this fic and its value to me.

bad moon rising (M). Despite Brooke forcing me to replay her singing ‘bad moon arisin’ every time I think of this fic, I really do love it. It’s gritty and graphic and a total step in a different direction for me, it let me channel the grossness of my zombie au’s in a more concentrated way, and making Alex suffer in fic form is really neat, so ofc I love this bad boy.

it’s just what you do (T). It’s a fic based off a Lana del Ray song, need I say more? I swear I hype this fic up in my head way too much but I have really fond memories of writing it. This was another fic I bullied Ruby into helping me out with, I kinda talked about it with her the entire time I was writing it, and it probably annoyed the fuck out of her but it really helped me find the hype to write it as thoroughly as I could when I was writing it bc hassling her about my fics and oversharing about them with her is one of my top hobbies, ily Ruby sm. The ending is really bad but it was a way for me to insert some friends and their oc’s for fun and lit rally no other reason.

Okay so I'm cheating a bit for this last one, but its the you are the wilderness series (T). The fics are all set within a zombie apocalypse au and I really couldn't choose which one to include, so I figured I’d include the series. I was able to test my angst skillz in this series, as well as my ability to get a bit grim, it was really fun to write and one of my favourite series to date.

gamecube had animal crossing for me, which was one of the first games that i played for over a year, one that i would strive to MAKE time for especially when getting ready for school, just to hear that sweet sweet 7AM and 8AM osts.....god those two songs are so fucking good,,,

and fuck, wind waker. god, wind waker. wind waker was the second LoZ game i ever beat, first being Twilight Princess just because i didnt...want WW to end. i still replay that game often and BOTW only SLIGHTLY beats WW for my favorite LoZ game. very, very close. wind waker just has a beautiful fun art style, i love the music, the characters....i just. i really love that game.

gamecube also held warioware and smash melee both of which i played ALL THE TIME with my brothers. i have a lot of good memories with those games.

1. The Last Great Race - Kicking it off with a bang. Cas is a reporter, he goes to Alaska to cover the Iditarod - the dog sled race. Dean is participating and so is Sam and there are so many huskies and also romance. It has a prequel time stamp. It is lovely and I love it and read this right now.

2.  Pies and Prejudice - This is on my Top 8, but it’s a Pride and Prejudice Great British Bake Off Modern AU Fusion. Dean is Liz and Cas is Darcy. Please read this it’s wonderful and also cake is involved.

3. Between The Lines - Fam, Okay, I thought this was going to be Garbage but it’s not. Environmentalist Cas gets in a twitter feud(!!!!) with Western Actor Dean and they make a bet to live in off the land for a week and it’s. Amazing. Enemies 2 frends 2 luvrs. Trust me.

4. And Then You Destroy Yourself - The only Non-BDSM College AU worth reading. Cas is a freshman, he joins the College Newspaper, there is drama and mystery and intrigue. And Gay. The underage drinking is bit cringe but it’s very in character for college students, so what r u gonna do.

5. Love In The Wild - This is a hilaaaaarious Reality Show AU. Dean goes on a dating show and does challenges and meets the luv of his life, u kno? What more do you need. There is sex.

6. Through Basin And Range - Yeee buddy, Road Trip Fic!!!!! Dean and Cas are there but have broken up and it’s rough, and Sam is there also but he is sexting Kevin for some reason. Cas is spending the summer working on a thesis for his Geology Masters (master of rocks), and Sam n Dean tag along. This story really is lovey. It’s only on LJ though, so. :/

7. Unintended - Lawyer Cas bids for Fire Fighter Dean in a date auction and honestly. The sex in this is so good, like I lost this fic for three years but still remembered The Scene (You’ll know the one, that shit is hardly ever seen outside of PWP). This fic is so slept on. You need to read it. I think they live in Washinton or something. Maybe NYC. I forget, I’m busy thinking about The Scene.

8. Your Heart Makes - Ok so there are Three Disney Land AUs in this fandom that I know of. One of them is garbage, one of them is pretty good, and the last is incredible and it’s ur lucky day because the incredible one is this one. Castiel suffers from pretty bad depression, and is just trying to get through life, day by day. Insert Dean w/ a heart condition. There’s love, there’s slow build, there’s disney ride hand jobs. It’s a good time.

9. Any Little Heartbreak - I just reread this one recently! Heart Surgeon Dean! Surgery Nurse Cas! Enemies to FWB to Lovers! It’s like Scrubs meets... some sort of medical drama. Whatever, it’s a trip, and Meg is so fun.

10. Bearing Point - This fic is lovely and fun and it’s construction Dean + restoration expert Cas. I have beef with this fic, in that the author made Dean gay, instead of bi or pan and for me, a huge bisexual with strong emotional ties to Dean’s bisexuality, it kind of grated on me a bit and ruined the immersion. But, if you’re not a big baby like me, this fic is lovely and wonderful and they literally build homes together and also get nasty.

11. For All You Young Hockey Players Out There, Pay Attention - SPORTS AU. I don’t like sports but SPORTS AU. Dean is a hockey person. Something something NHL. Dean plays the sports with his brother. They get a new player from russia, but Dean is >:( bc they traded out his bff so Cas is The Enemy. Enemies to grudging friends to lovers. Coming out. Homophobic confusion. This fic is wonderful and lovely and sports. If you love destiel and you love Check Please, then this is the AU for U.

12.  Fourth Time’s the Charm - Ooooooooh, age gap fic. Cas is a comic book artist, Dean is a fan who goes to conventions. He’s also a virgin. :) Here is a direct quote from the summary: ‘Dean shyly fumbles his way through his first real relationship.’ Literally what more do you need? Literally?

13. If At First You Don’t Succeed (Destroy All Evidence That You Ever Tried) - lmao this fic is ridiculous. Inspired by the HIMYM episode, the three days rule, Dean replaces his number in Castiel’s phone to test he’s not being too eager when he meets girls. sexting ensues and Dean is !!!!! Gay Panicked. I love it, read it now, it’s sexy.

14.  Prosopagnosia -  This one is Teen and Up, I know, I am shocked that I’ve included it too. But it’s such a sweet story. Castiel works in a Gas n’ Sip and he has a cognitive disorder that means he’s face blind. He can’t recognize anyone, which makes his blossoming relationship with Dean a bit complicated. But they work around it. The Impala plays an important role.

15. Run Boy Run - FAM OK FAM PLS. Blind! Dean wants to compete in the Boston Marathon, but he needs a guide people to help him navigate obstacles and the other contestants. Castiel’s brother signs him up and he’s reluctant, but then he meets Dean and uhhhhhhh it all works out. It’s so sweet. Read it. Teen and Up again??? I’m srry, but it’s really good.

16. Yellow - Here’s another I haven’t read yet, but. It’s Elizabeth1985 and also it’s Cas in Witness protection and the excerpt I read places it firmly on my favourites list. Ex-mobster Cas, They are bartenders, there is falling in love, there is also fucking yeaaaa buddy, back on the sexy bandwagon.

17. Rough Seas - Dean is a Lieutenant Commander who moves home with a toddler and he’s involved with the Coast Guard, and he used to know Cas but there was gay panic and so things are tense and angsty and wonderful and this fic is amazing. SLOW BUILD. LOVERS TO ENEMIES TO FRIENDS TO LOVERS. Literally the best. There is a sequel which is almost as long. This fic is so lovely.

18. Asunder - This fic my guys, this fic. Please send help. Social Worker Dean. Recovering Heroin addicts Sam and Ruby who are getting married. They go to Bobby’s for the wedding. I forget how Cas fits in but he’s there and it’s lovely and so well written and wonderful and honestly? A Classic. If you read anything from this list, read this fic.

19. Satin and Sawdust - Lmao u guys u know me. Dean in panties love story. It’s on my Top 8. There’s capentry, there’s gay panic Cas, there’s satin and lace and soft cotton and also Dean has two cats. Read this right now.

20. Living In Agony - THIS FIC MY GUYS. I had three people read it from my Top 8 and they all died and met me in heaven bc i also died when I read it bc it is so. Lovely. Angst, mental illness, teachers Cas and Dean, Gabriel and Charlie are there also, Jess is a delight, Sam is in love with green smoothies, the sex is ridiculous (there is one line that helped shape me as a person and you will know which it is and you can blame this fic for all of the absolute filth that comes out of my brain. 27. Painted Angels - Fuck u this one is hurt of my heart. The Angst is Unreal. Dean is an artist. Or, he was an Artist. Lost Love, which gets found again. Cas returning to town a decade later. All the good shit.

28. Small Town Charmer - SMALL TOWNS! DEAN AND CAS! THEY RUN BUSINESSES AND FALL IN LOVE! Errrrrrr OTHER STUFF HAPPENS! This fic is lovely and great and if you don’t read it then u a dum dum.

Jensen: Many parts of Dean become parts of Jensen and vice versa. Just as much a part of us as we are of them.

Jared: Especially when the lights flicker - Jensen: and then I go insta Dean.

Fav character dynamic? Jared: Crowley and Rowena, they have some of his favorite on screen interactions. Lucifer and Gabriel, etc. Jensen: Lot of interesting characters. Jared: Sam and Ruby had an interesting dynamic. Jensen: Interesting dynamic between Dean and Rowena. Doweena? Or, “D’Wena” - Go on. Say it out loud ;) Jared: Deanweena.

Jared: Wrap up story lines, shove in a bunch of stuff...reiterating it was a long episode and excited. Re: cutting scenes, Jared says that action is easier to chop down than dialogue.

Okay so im at college so rn the only pets with me are my fishb a male halfmoon plakat named Cosmos Florence the second, a nerite snail named Nertb and a black mystery named Onyx. I keep them because god man i just. I just love em so much ya know? Its like. I have this little ball of hate and rage in my dorm who has such a beautiful personality and then to complement that i have these chill snaild who r just trying really hard. Back home we have even more pets and oh man oh man i love them?? They are what love and joy looks like?? We have my dogs, cat, turtle, lizards, birds, hairless guinea pigs, fish, and chickens.

The chickens are named Short Bread and Oreo bevause of how they looked when they were younger. Oreo is a little spunkyer that Short bread while i think short bread is a little…. Confused? Yeah just generally confused by everything.

We have Mr. T, our full grown, healthy red ear slider who lives in a small pond in the back yard with a few feeder fish he never ate. Those fish have grown to be his pals and he just. Hase never eaten them.

Then we have the birds, Able, who likes to tell at you if u look at her to long. Her hobbys are chewing through toys as she is hanging from them and being suprised when she falls. We then have Birbank, named after the airport my dad found him at, who lives very closely with his bf Ruby. Birbank is a grey and white cockatiel and Ruby is a green Indian Ringneck. They had being more than 2 feet apart for longer than 2 seconds and often u will find Ruby yelling when Birbank flys somewhere he cant go (ruby doesnt know how to fly) and birbank screaming when he realises the mistake he made. Ruby likes to give people kisses and is a lover, not a fighter. Birbank likes to hiss at peanuts and ignore everything besides Ruby. Next we have our Canary, Mango whos fav food is blue berrys and kale. He likes to sing when he hears trumpets and my flute. He has a club foot so when we adopted him the bird rescue we got him from was relived because no one else would take him. He is the most graceful flying bird i have ever seen! Finally we have the zebra finch named Shimmy. When we first adopted him he had a super bad plucking problem and was almost completly bald but hes doing much better now, aggressivly peeping when he hears the canary.

Okay now we have 2 lizards, a leopard gecko named Romeo and a crested gecko named Gargoyle. Romeo is a sweet boi with a chubby tail who loves his crickets fast and his meal worms slow. He has one of those reptile hammocks but he prefers climding his cave more. Gargoyle is a sweet girl who will only eat her food when it starts to harden again for some reason. We dont know why but she does and shes kinda a butt. But ya gotta love her!

Our cat’s name is Figaro and she’s currently bald. She had to get shaved, the vet said shes getting up in her years so when she stopped grooming for a month and got matts in her long fur they said she had basicly cat arthritis. Shes doing good and her hobbies are (well atleast when i was home) meowing in my mouth at 3 am to tell me she ate all her food and wanted more.

Wr have 5 dogs so just get ready for that. All our dogs but 1 is a rescue. Coal is a chow/black lab mix. She was adopted as a pup from a local animal rescue and she kniws the mist tricks. Shes a good girl who likes hugs, treats, and when u massage her face. Her favorite toy is a yellow stick that she will bring to you when asked. Shes the second youngest! Lily is the youngest, i sometiems call her satan but only because she is a trickster! You will turn around and shell be on the table eating food, stealing anything from coal, and trying to think up world domination. She and Coal are super close, when we got her Coal went all MaMa dog and now they are inseparable. What makes it better is that Lily is a half Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix so shes tiny next to Coal. Our third youngest is Scarlet, wr think shes the product of a long hair Chihuahua and a deer head Chihuahua. Shes a primadonna who enjoys her alone time and pets. She also like to be held, mainly like a baby so u can hold her and tub her tum. She also REALLY LIKES CAR RIDES like man even going to the vet shes jazzed. Second oldest is Vinnie, a pug my bro ham adopted. Hes super sweet and good he likes face squishes and whrn he naps his tail uncurles. He stands very proper like hes a gentleman and likes to sit on ur feat. He has a grain allergy so he eats special grain free food. Next we have the oldest of our dogs MY SWEET BABY GIRL GIGI. shes my sun and moon. We got gigi when i was 8 and when i was 10 my sister went to college, leaving her for me to takr care of. And well, shes literally the most important thing in the world to me. My sister got her from a breader (which i dont like cus dogs in shelters need homes) but shes a Brussels Griffon so the breader croped her ears and tail. I DO NOT CONDONE THE PRACTICE OF CROPPING AND PART OF A DOG UNLESS SUGGESTED BY A VET, SOME DOGS GET THEIR TAILS CROPPED BECAUS ETHEY BREAK BONES IN THEM AND THAT IS THE ONLY CROPPING I CONDONE. Her ears were cropped lopsidedb and improperly which brought many problems to her later on. She developed many ear infections that have caused her to scratch her ears until they bleed, has had medication for 3 different ear infections, and has almost no ear canal left. Her vet has told us she is almost deef. Also as she got older she got chronic dry eye and takes medicated eye drops for it but shes fine as long as she has those. She needs loud or sharp sounds to get her attention so i trained her to respond to clapping, whistling (which i do very loudly) and snapping fingers. She is a sweet heartb adn a super velcro dog! I cried for three days after i had to go to college and they drive her up to visit me. When im home she goes looking for me if im out of site for 2 minutes, will wait at the bathroom door for me, stare up the stairs when i go to shower, and press her face against closed doors she knows i went through. Whne she does the last thing i have to drum my fingers on the door so she knows to move back before i open it. I miss her horribly and i skype her almost every day, she gets super excited! The first few days i was gone she actually wouldnt stop barking at night. Shes also a cuddle baby and she doesnt sleep unless she is touching me ao it was probably rough for her. I miss her but ill be able to see her in october when i go to my sisters wedding.

The fish! Okay so my mother has a 75 gallon gold fish aquarium and a 30 gallon in the garage with nithing in it yet (shes thinking tetras). The gold fish tank has 2 butter fly tails and some bristle nose plecos. It also has many a snail rn! A friend of ours dismantled a large aquarium of his own ( he is going through a very hard time financially and im hoping everything works out for him) and gave us the plecos and snails. The snails are 3 rabbit snailsb one nerite (he gave us 2 but the other is with my betta) a few black mysteries, and a golden apple who i named Big Mama.

Lemme tell u about big mama real fast. I call her this because, first of all shes a full grown golden appleb second of all because shes a mama. He had a live planted tank thich included a moss ball he has been taking care of for 5 year, its the size of my head and when we put it in the 75 gallon it because the main pice of the tank. What we found out later was that Big Mama had made her family in ut and we have abou 20 BABY GOLDEN APPLES IN THERE ALONE!! He also gave us an anibius fern which i put in my betta’s tank and after getting to college and living hear for a few weeks i found out there were eggs on it because I KNOW HAVE MANY A BABY GOLDEN APPLE. these ones tho r much smaller than the moss ball ones, mine being hatchlings and those being the size of a finger nail. But anyway they have grown large enough where i can tell they r not pest snails and i will be rehoming them to other fish keepers in my dorms once they get a little bigger.

My mom has 3 hairless guinea pigs. Did you know that at petco people tend to walk in and drop off pets they “just dont want any more”? Well it hapoens a lot and my mom fell in love with them instantly. We have Billy, the oldest, Piggy, the middle in age, and sweet baby Bear who is small and young. They are all good boys and are doing very well so far in their new home! My mom had already owned billy and was looking into getting him friends, (guinea pigs live friends! They actually should be kept in atleast pairs but we were not aware at first, now we know better) all three of them are being slowly introduced! Bear and Piggy already live together but we dont want to rush this process and put billy right into the mix, that would probably be the worst think. They are slowly beibg acclimated to eachother.

I guess you could say i love pets because they are sweet and wonderful. I keep most of them because i know i can care for them, that i have the space, and the resources. I have the time and the will to foster a loving home for all my pets, and so does my family. Animals are a big part of my life and i love all of them with all my heart.

My future plans? Well nothing soon! Im in a dorm so Cosmos and his snail friends are all ivr got planed rn. But i hope to, onece in the distante future, get a tank with a school of danionella dracula in it, they are tiny fishb only getting half an inch in side. But id need a good tank for them since they school about 12 and id like to do the whome thing live plants (i also want one of those rimless aquatiums hnnnnnnnngh) i hope to upgrade cosmos to a larger aquarium b currently hes in a 2.5 which is enough for a betta, sure, but id rather he be in a 5 gallon. But really? I just wanna go home n be with GiGi more than anything.
