mandalorian this, kenobi that. give me a sci-fi political intrigue live action show in the core with padme and her handmaidens. you can have like anakin falling off a balcony in the background but otherwise give me orphan black levels of one actress playing 6 roles and you never know which one is the real padme and every week the chancellor is like trying to kill padme but never can

i think ppl forget how unhinged girls were for the star wars prequels. they gave us padme and her bodyguards and we went feral for the prequels. like i swear so many girls were like hyped for prequels and i remember fashion books for star wars and padme dolls and like the hype was real. like that was pre-twilight, like pre-harry potter, pre-hunger games. it was madness. like ewan mcgregor and hayden christensen became heart throbs. girl fans revitalized the fandom. for the first time you had so many little girls dressed as queen amidala for halloween

can you guess which job required a signed doctor’s note for an unpaid sick day?

it wasn’t my engineering job

it was when i was a cashier at home depot

meanwhile, my engineering job will be like, ok, you’re sick, get well soon and i won’t lose pay. meanwhile i had to spend half of my sick day when I was working at home depot to go to a clinic to get a note that cost money for a day i wasn’t even going to get paid for. 

so fuck corporations that put indignities on minimum wage workers for even their free time when literally in their corporate office they don’t give a shit if head office workers are calling in sick but god forbid the cashier take a day off unpaid without proof. like fuck off
