tldr;

was pretty big on sports when she was younger, still is but not as much. blames her dad for always playing whatever sport she wanted, but never good enough to go pro.

she never really knew what she wanted to be when she grew up, but once she moved to seoul at the age of nine she met another girl that pretty much insipred her to become an idol.

took a lot of dance lessons because that was the easiest to get her hands on and her parents were extremly supportive of her. jules finally had something she was genuenly interested so her parents did whatever they could to get her to become a trainee.

she focused mainly on ballroom and hiphop, but started branching out as she got more comfortable.

so she worked hard and failed a lot. took her six years to get signed and thena nother seven to debut. extremely hard worker really, she was a ball of sunshine during trainee days despite being stuck in the basement of midas music for years.

things do change.. during the debut documentary, she became a bit too compeditive and not in a healthy way. more so because she trained for so long she knew she had to get a grip and get in the final line up. really she was scared she would fail and maybe actually make it time to retire the idol dream.

so that caught people's attention, that she would speak up and say stuff that sometimes was out of pocket and maybe rude, but hey... the enviroment wasn't the best ya feel. she doesn't really speak about the documentary unless forced to nowadays.

anyway, she has mellowed out infront of cameras and even behind the scenes, no more bark and bite, however she reverts to old habits when put under pressure by midas music or some tension has build up in haute pink.

she is very easy to forget, but not forgive and move on, to the point where its probably infuriating to others, but she doesn't care. she doesn't really... emotionally invest herself in a lot of things, because she is scared it will ruin thing in the long run. so with the pinks, she really just forgets bad situations have happened for the sake of working together better.

she went to therapy at one point because she just started shutting down during some days and going on autopilot and realized, that was bad. so therapy helped and she has been a lot better. some fans have noticed a different kind of spark to her.

she started vaping around that time as well, and maybe the nicotine helped but she doesn't do it often. again, if stress gets to her, old habits resurface.

the recent hate trains after her solo debut haven't helped either. to an extend she wants another solo out of spite, but she isn't sure. however, because of all the solo activities and promotions, jules has managed to show that she has really changed and matured since the early days of debut - especially her fans.

however, those closer to her can notice a change in attitude and shift in perspective with the approach of the contract renewal.

she donates regularly to animal shelters, because she thinks its a good thing to do.

cooks. a lot. loves cooking and baking, please let her cook and bake for you.

still loves playing sports but hits the gym more often than she gets to play sports.

she is addicted with caffeine, which probably makes sense she has all the energy in the world on stage and to work out a lot.

chronically online and knows all the memes and gossip. not the best for her mental health somedays, but she will quote vines or tt's regularly.

always down to dance, you can call her up middle of the night if she is awake she will be there.

favourite vape flavour is mint, idk feels appropriate.

only wears male perfumes, just likes them more.

doesn't have any huge insecurities tbh, she used to feel like she wasn't really well fitting for haute pink at the start, but therpay helped get that mindset completely out of her system.

The year is over already! It's hard to believe, but I'm also ready for a fresh start. With many more years of Sims 4 content ahead of us, and my most anticipated pack has finally arrived, I figured it was time to start rethinking about the future of the Sims 4. I'll mostly be evaluating a recent survey . I think this is a good starting point to draw from what is to be expected. First, I'll talk about be packs I want:

Band/Music Pack! (not in survey, I just wanted to talk about it)

Insert Invader Zim Might Need gif here! This has been my second most anticipated pack and I think we're on the cusp of getting it. The thing that will make this a successful pack for is 2 things: pack compatibility and customization of what type of musician my sim can be. These two kind of play hand in hand, but I want to be able to use whatever musical instrument to be a professional musician, whether in a group or solo, like a singer, violinist or DJ (hence pack compatability). Also, I think there needs to be an expansion of the current celebrity system. Since the summer sessions, I also think it would be could to have different types of new venues like outdoor festivals, concert halls, theaters, and stadiums. We already have plenty of bars and nightclubs, they can just incorporate whatever is needed for stages with those current venues. I also think professional dancer can be incorporated and there could be more types of dancing, including ballet and bboying. We could get band and dance clubs for children and up. I could talk about this forever, let’s move on.

Law and Crime Pack/ Expansion Pack 6

This game is in desperate need of stakes. My sims can’t be bad and bad things are very avoidable, and I try very hard. Even with some of the updates, sims can still be pretty cordial to enemies. If vampires even spawn to invade your house, you sim just has to be awake, and they’ll leave. No autonomous break ins, my sims has never been beat up on Neighborhood Brawl day. Nothing. Happens. For me, automous actions has to be a thing. Yes, I love the idea of there being some sort of law and order system my sim has to navigate, but it won’t matter if I have to trigger everything. Sometimes I want there to be something I have to respond to as a player. Honestly, I feel like this sort of thing should’ve been one of the earlier systems to come out. What if we could choose good, bad or in-between paths for all careers. You could be a corrupt politician who takes bribes or a “Saul Goodman” lawyer, a conflicted criminal,  Gordan Ramsey- style chef outside of the typical gameplay. Still, I need stakes and this seems to be the pack to add them.

Modern Royalty Pack/ Expansion Pack 9

I initially dismissed this pack, but I realized the reason I did so was because it sounded a bit too much like a rehash of the celebrity system. But, I think if done well, it would be cool to add more ways to define sims socially. I like the idea on paper, but I would need to see more ideas of gameplay before fully being on board. I like the idea of rivalries and the idea of being betrayed by friends. It would be cool if you could renounce your position, or have a child from outside of royalty be in line for the throne. I also think it would be cool to improve on the politician career from city living. It would be nice for certain careers to have more to do. I need to ruminate on this pack more, but I’m not against it. Just a bit hesitant at its execution.

This survey this emphasized how disconnected I feel the sims team is to the actual game because a lot of the concepts feel like what expansion pack refreshes should've been. So, my next want is a return of pack refreshes. Expansion packs 1, or the scuba diving pack screams of an Island Living refresh. I think there needs to be more to it than just fleshing out diving (which we can do in Sulani) to justify a whole new pack. Surfing, wake boarding, competitions, more beach life-based gameplay instead of conservation. I don't want a rehash of sims 3 boathouses, do something new. 4 and 7 seem a bit too similar to Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure conceptually for me. There would be nothing wrong with giving those two early packs a refresh with new ways to camp and explore for kids. 8 screams Get to Work refresh for me. Malls and multifunction lots should've been incorporated with the introduction of retail lots. But, because of this, I also do think these packs are the most likely to come out sooner than later. There wouldn't be too much extra work to make them since aspects of gameplay have been done in some form in other packs.

Lastly, the last three packs on the list, Expansion 2, 3, and 5. These ideas feel totally original, but my only worry is one I noted with the Royalty pack. Execution. I just can't really see the sims teams incorporating these concepts well for long-term gameplay. Packs already seem small, so ideas that require resource management and exploration feels like it would get repetitive very quickly. I'm not against the ideas, I just feel like they're a bit too large for the scale of what Sims 4 expansion packs are and people will be disappointed.

Thank you for making into the end of my wishlist/evaluation/yap session. It's interesting to see where the sims team's head is at in terms of what content they want to release. There were a lot of similar ideas amongst them and I'm curious to see what they do. I hope the holidays continue to treat you well. Happy Simming!
