Smokes joint, not sure if this qualifies as whump anymore just posting this here cus it does not fit in any other blog, been thinking about a vampire acting as the caretaker for a kid (or, "whumpee"), the idea is really nebulous. The kid at first glance is really stubborn and angry but really just really nervous and skittish all the time but hate feeling vulnerable due to the past abuse they suffered (from "whumper"). While vampire has sustained themselves entirely on blood from other animals they are also borderline uncanny valley-esque in appearance and have been nearly completely isolated from humanity for decades.

Idk the only thing I have in mind for them is just them repeatedly trying and failing and succeeding at trying to form a connection with each other. Despite both of them truly wanting to trust and live alongside the other what they have been through and just who they are just keeps getting in the way of that

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space* at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.

*yes sorry i mean usage i posted this before bed :( i do not mean the hard drive is full aaaaghhhh
