"now i understand why forfy got mad at that one person for saying maximizer is about an ai" it was just a take that lacked so so much context i want to respect other opinions by all means im no authority on series songs im also just a fan & i have limits on my personal knowledge that affects how i interpret them. but it was just such a big disregard to the minor parts of the song & (of course i cant really fault anyone for this when magu has only ONCE directly said anything about aru sekai series being a series & it was bc of harassment & on their locked acc so out of respect i wont be sharing the details) disregards so much of the series as a whole. it was just a little bit frustrating to see it reduced to topics that were explained mostly via reading wiki pages anyway.

so magu djed for an event which. cool good for them (bitter i couldnt be there) BUT they posted the set list & i know this means absolutely nothing bc its a set list & u just. know put things how they sound good. but oh my god is this secretly the timeline of the songs because i wont lie to u. it makes so much sense

ignoring the songs that arent series songs for obvious reasons. im not posting the pic of the other songs but if ur wondering the other series songs in order (broken up by other songs from other producers) were kannagi, kyuuyaku, ashura, and touhikou. shoushitsu wasnt on the list at all which makes sense bc it was a dj event and that songs 11 minutes. anyway so that order for the past songs also makes sense to me with kannagi being the "keep ur heads up we might be able to beat this somehow" song, kyuuyaku with the more technical & hands on approach, ashura with. whatever that is(im sorry this is actually my 3rd fave series song theres just so many words back to back making sense of it is. awful), and then touhikou the running away when nothing else worked. that sounds like a pretty logical timeline to me.

then for the ones im showing here, the more "present/current" type songs. this order makes so much sense. oumen's about the sacrifice ive gone over this 37 times im sure u all get it by now, laboratory has things in it about ignoring faults & things that didn't work which i never connected to the sacrifice before i was thinking that was just in general but It Makes Sense if its about the events in oumen & we know labo ends up dying as well, yamete kudasai i knew was connected to labo so that also makes sense to me & it would also make her anger make sense seeing as shes now the THIRD one to lose her life permanently over bullshit reasons, kanon is of course regret that the sacrifice was ever made but continuing on regardless & obviously that means what happened in oumen but very well could mean the other two as well, maximizer literally has that whole novel in the middle about recognizing sense of purpose & freewill & that those who've lost it disappear entirely. which makes a lot of sense & probably more than i was originally thinking if she just directly witnessed it happen to 3 people, and then of course apoptosis who cant take anymore after whatever events happen & honestly her breakdown is even more reasonable if its not just the angel she had to lose & then carry on like none of it happened. after all that she gets a free pass to cause problems on purpose i think.

ive known for a While the order the songs are posted isnt the chronological order of the songs & there's absolutely no proof this is the correct order either but holy shit does it make sense if true
