a small but significant part of being in canada being Really Really Cool has been me seeing bugs that ive Never Seen Before and getting Really Excited About Them in a way that i thought i had lost completely, but it turns out i was just living in a city that bug bombed for like a decade and never really saw any bugs that werent cockroaches or cicadas

#no shade to cockroaches or cicadas of course i also Really Like Those Guys #theres some really cool cockroaches actually gjsjf i like the wood ones outside that get under the trash cans #i saw green weevils for the first time and theyre shiny in a way that they look like little jewels.#i went crazy for it. i googled like crazy. i looked at where they came from what they eat how long theyve been here #i talked to my partners parents about when they showed up here and they were like oh yeah.#it was a lot of fun... i liked it very much #skelly speaks
