I’m having a lot of trouble uploading my pictures again. Unacceptable. Also I don’t love my ootd picture but whatever. I felt a lot of aniexty after I did my post last night. I felt like it was to short and I wanted to go back and write more but I was so tired. But then i was just really keyed up from the aniexty. I painted my nails but then too I it all off again and redid it. Eventually I was able to sleep but I was still feeling some kind of way. And I’m feeling nervous that Tumblr will cease to be and I haven’t been saving the last 7 months of posts because I’ve made them on my phone. And while the WordPress backup seemed to have worked in still nervous. But today was a great day. I slept well once I was able to fall asleep. I woke up around 9. I was going to keep resting but I vaugely remember there being like an email or something I had to answer right away but I can not for the life of me remember why I had to get up. But I did get up. Fed Sweetp. Had a shower, got dressed. I felt good. I had plans of hiking to those antique stores Anne and Katherine had told me about. But they didn’t open until around 11. At least most of them. I thought I would take the bus but really it would be half the time to bike. I had breakfast and got myself together to head out. I biked the 4ish miles and it was a nice ride. Not to warm out. Mostly flat road. The area is called thte minnihaha mile. That is not spelled correctly bit you get the idea.it’s like a half dozen antique stores and other local shops. It’s up where I got my laptop fixed a few months ago. But I didn’t know about the thrifting! How have I lived here this long without finding these places? They were particularly good too! I started towards the end. I liked the aesthetics of the first store but didn’t find anything I wanted. The second was like a full house and each room was themed and was so cool. But they were only open for an hour today and I somehow just happened to be there at the right time. Even though they were super cool I didn’t find anything I wanted so I moved on. The next one was probably my favorite. It was like a maze and you could buy things by weight and they were having one room by 75% off because they are cleaning it out this weekend and opening a grilled cheese restaurant there??? Amazing. I did have the most fun here though. They had great prices and just piles and piles of stuff but everything was organized like with like. They had a whole bucket of name patches and I was in luck with my boy spelling and I got my name! I’m thrilled especially since I just found that bomber jacket on the free shelf. You bet I sewed that on when I got home this afternoon. I also got a beautiful green scarf that was in the 75% off room so it was only $2. Amazing. There were a few more places that weren’t open. And the next one I went in was way to expensive. The very last one I went in was so cute and full of jewelry. It was run by a sweet old man and he showed me that the one case with the jewelry in it was a conveyor belt and you could push a button and make it move. And I was fascinated. It was like a rotiserary chicken for rings. I will for sure go back there sometime when I want to buy something special. For sure before I move. Maybe when mom and dad come before I move. Also this is a reminder to them because I’m sure they’re reading we need to discuss that. I was getting tired though. A lot of biking. So I started heading back. I actually was right near the savers so that’s neat I could bike there if I wanted. Theres a dennys over there so I took myself out for lunch. The waitress I had was very nice but I felt a little abandoned. After I got my food I didn’t see her for forever. And the restaurant was mostly empty and there were like 6 other wait staff. No one even offered me a refill. I didn’t want one but still. Food was good though the fries there still are weird as hell. I headed home after that. Took the bike highway. My tires really need air so the ride was a little rough. But that’s okay. I was fairly exhausted by the time I got home. I changed and laid down but I was it keyed up to sleep. I put a podcast in and dozed. I did get up eventually though. Applied for a few jobs. Looked at apartments. I practiced with my Ponte shoes. I’m still sliding on the hardwood but I’m getting more control. I spent some time working on rings. Cutting things to solder at some point But mostly just working on wrap rings. I got to the end of my one roll of wire. So that’s cool. I took a bath and washed my hair. Hopefully the color doesn’t fade to fast. I usually have good luck but we’ll see. I’ve been really snacky this afternoon but I think mostly cause I’m out of like bread and eggs and a lot of my staples. I really want like cereal and stuff too. Ice cream. So I will probably do that tomorrow. It really has been a nice day though. I hope you all sleep easy tonight. Be safe.
