Oh...oh they...they actually planned for Wilf to shoot Moles the entire time, even before Bernard's death... ...So there goes that excuse for the shooting moles thing being to avoid showing Wilf... Also they somehow planned for it to be worser basically- because already the idea of a character who doesn't like killing and never wants to do it being off shooting moles is just, gross and a clear mis-understanding of his character, but the fact that they planned to show him doing it in a such a jolly manner, even when his great-granddaughter tells him to leave the moles alone...

#i swear anyone who goes 'but it was bernard's hobby in real life-' i mean no offense fully when i say this but:#you dont see every movie and show giving every character shit their actors do #because they meant to be characters at the end of the day #therefore wilf didnt need to be fully like bernard #wilf's character was literally established to not like killing #hes proud he made it through the war without killing a single person #he literally only brings out his gun in end of time to give to the doctor to use against the master #like how the fuck did anyone see this character and go: 'oh yeah he'd shoot at moles-'
