Throwback to that time when beautiful Sarah, looking like stunningly chic royalty in her Spanish designer dress, married gorgeous Hans, who grinned like a Cheshire Cat all day long in his custom made Dolce and Gabbana suit.⠀ :⠀ They flew in to the UK from their home in Amsterdam to marry in Sarah's home region, Prince Charles Duchy land in Newton St Loe. EVERYTHING about the day was beautiful. : I will NEVER forget how much they laughed and smiled that day. Straight (read: honest) talk for a minute. : I take a LOT of photos on your wedding day. A lot of them are AMAZING. Some of them are average. Quite a few of them can, at first, look like a pile of crap. The colours might be wrong, the framing completely off, weird technical shit getting in the way. : Most of those seemingly crappy photos will end up in the bin. : HOWEVER. : Sometimes a "seemingly crappy" photo sneaks through because something about it is a bit magical. More often than not, it's what's HAPPENING in the actual photo. I don't go pixel-peeping on those photos, because I'm paying attention to that sweeping moment. I'm paying attention to that heart-pounding split second...the one that makes you gasp a little bit as you think "ohhhh...so romantic...so gorgeous...so caught up in the moment..." : Quite often, when you're in front of the camera, those moments are hard to make happen, because there's that whole "posing for the camera" thing going on. But this is why I try NOT to make you do that. This is why sometimes, I say sod it to being technically perfect (what the hell IS technical perfection, anyway?) and just let you be YOU. : This is why I might say, you know what guys?
