Gin poes at the bottle cap with her dagger before flipping it up to inspect it.  It seemed like an ordinary enough bottlecap, but why it was in a package with a can labeled “peanut brittle” was beyond her.  She shrugged, putting the cap on the table to look at later before picking up the can to sniff at it.  Her eyes narrowed, squinting at the can suspiciously.  It smelled nothing of peanut brittle, but at least it wasn’t ticking.

So that meant Fizz didn’t send it.  Maybe.

Against her better judgement, she opened the can away from her face, jumping a little when the snakes sprange out before a slow grin spread across her face.  “Thank ya, whoever sent me more prankin’ gear…”

Sexy Photo Prompt: Valdim Heyworth for Lady!Val

“Arcanist Val…?” the young wizard called, looking all around the atrium at the Hall of the Guardian.  Valerie looked up from her star charts, annoyed at yet another blip in a series of constant interruptions, and waved him over.  Apparently she looked far more venomous than she thought - the poor boy quailed at her expression, and wordlessly handed over an envelope to the woman.  “S-special delivery, ma’am.  The documents you requested?”

Val’s frown deepened as she ripped the top of the envelope open.  “I didn’t request any documents,” she began, pulling out a stack of folded parchment and - most curiously a photo of her ‘competition’. 

The mage wasn’t sure whether she wanted to laugh or cry.  “Oh, Light damn it, Valdim, no one wanted to see all that…” she said, then stuffed it all back into the envelope and gave it back to the purple-clad boy.  “Wrong Val. Light, we need to do something about this name we share…”

Most of my characters are semi-active in some respect.  I do - however - miss RPing my first character as much as I used to.  Yes, she is 3edgy 5me, but there’s just something ridiculously fun about playing a character like that.  Her name is Pyra ( @shadowmatron - mostly an inspiration blog for her) and she is the result of what 14-year old me thought was badass.

I still love her, though.
