5071 - MOUTHBREATHER I couldn’t go through with the name change, these things have been called “Mouthbreathers” since 2013 there’s no use changing now! Ripping, dusty silicon overdrive and fuzz. Voltage bias control for Q2 in the fuzz circuit for a big sag. Pull back your guitar volume for clarity and bite, or go wide open and gnarly. These are all sold already but I’m always making more! Erasing digitally has been a nice alternative to ruining everything. (The Wacom tablet I used for this won’t connect after updating my Mac OS to 11. Does anyone have any solutions for this??) I’m really happy to say a service that I actually really like has reached out to me about a promotional sponsorship. Just finished 3 of these RANGER overdrivers. $220 plus shipping. Message me on here if you’re interested before I put them on band camp next week and we all have to pay fees. From spiritwas.com: Based on the Dallas Rangemaster transistor overdrive unit made famously in the United Kingdom in the 1960’s. Originally designed to boost top end specifically, but modified here for a more full range. These include a single vintage MP38A Germanium transistor from USSR, and are individually biased by hand. Responds dramatically to your guitar’s volume knob. At full blast can sound like honking fuzz, but reeled back even slightly can provide a very nice, dynamic overdrive even at lower amp volume.
