Hello!!!! Who is everyone dating in LoF (if they're dating anyone at all)?? :D
AHH good question!! I have a general idea for most characters, but for some I have plans :3
As for dating:
I honestly have no clue with Bruce, but that's just how it is all the time, isn't it?
Dick is dating Wally, because Birdflash for the win!! But he has dated Kori in the past, Babs, (and etc) and they're still good friends to this day :)
Jason I'm still debating on. I like him and Roy and I think it's a popular ship? I haven't looked too far into it. I also hear that Jay, Roy, AND Kori are a ship and that's so so so good
Tim and Kon are in their "will they won't they" where everyone else knows they're dating and they also know they're dating but they don't bring it up at all. Also might have a YJ polycule just for funsies, don't really know atp
I need to read more about Damian and Flatline (AKA Nika) but from what I've seen so far they are. ADORABLE. Like so freaking cute I can't stand it
Cass and Steph are also dating- if anyone is worried about a detail that was in a previous chapter that would make that WAY weird, I went back and edited that. My mistake, y'all, that's on me.
A lot of people asked about Lanky and Shoes and this is my formal announcement: Yes, they are in love!!
As for other characters, it's up in the air. It really depends on what I see everyone ask about the most (but final decision is left to me :3). If I see that people like a certain ship and it's good, I could go ahead and mention it in the background, etc.
And for Peter: Ned.
A lot of people have looked at me strange for this one, but I thought it would be fun to explore that dynamic. I know Ned isn't MJ, or Harry, or whatever other ship people like, but I think they're cute. Some people stopped reading because of it, but I don't want to go back on it... So I don't think I will. I understand where most come from, it's not their cup of tea, but others were just plain nasty and I had to delete their comments on the fic itself, tiktok, etc.
Right now, they're best friends!! Ned is definitely aware he has a crush and is ignoring it, but Peter has no idea. That's 'cause they're both younger in this fic and I think right now they have more important things to worry about than Love. It's more of a puppy crush thing right now, more subtext than plain text.
But later on in the story, it's going to be explored. I may or may not write them becoming a couple or putting a label on it, but it will be talked about. It really depends on where the story goes. But I am of the belief that romantic love isn't the only type of love that can be written about, and at the end of the day, LoF is about the various forms of love and grief.
I think a good way to term Peter is biromantic asexual? I'm not too sure about the terminology here, so take that with a grain of salt. I'm pretty sure bisexuality is on the ace spectrum? Like he's still 14 and he's got a lot of time to figure that out. In my head that's just how it is.
I hope to have a lot of representation in LoF! There's a lot to explore and being apart of the community, I know how important it is. And I hope I don't actually have to moderate my comments because of it, that would suck

NISS I HAVE A LOF OF GHOUGHTS IN MY BRAIN RN
first of all q looks so cute in that pic (respectfully) /parasocial
also it is charlie slimecicles bday and it makes me :))))
also also I just found out that BoomerNA started officially using he/they pronouns and it makes me so happy and 🥺 to see a larger cc exploring their identity in the public eye? like obviously they don't share everything and they're not obligated too but just watching the change from he/him to he/they yk? like I saw some clips from a while ago when they first talked about maybe including they/them pronouns. it just means a lot to me bc a lot of other genderqueer ccs didn't do that I think. idk like eret and snifferish and ponk like told people what pronouns they used but we didn't get to like, see them experiment or hear their thoughts and the beginning yk? anyways I appreciate boomer :3 (idek if u watch them lol)
-🌂
charlie and dream have the same birthday??? ☺️ also yeah i heat and it made me so happy! representation like that is exactly what we need :D and i’m so glad it makes genderqueer people feel more validated that’s awesome and i’m so happy for that!! 💖 i watched boomer once in a while but not very often but he is very funnt 😭

Honestly transmasc John was the only one I COULD think of as seeing coded transmasc but I think a lof of that is John being accidentally coded trans in general. Like. I've seen transmasc John and transfem June headcanons that both stem from the same basis in canon, and which both read perfectly well as a result! And, personally? John is a big reason I was able to come to terms with being trans and what that meant for me as a transman moreso than literally any other character.
Like, John's transmasc, Dad trying to connect with John even more through things he thinks John likes e.g. harlequins could be seen as a supportive parent getting used to the new things his kid likes. I never would have TOUCHED a doll before I realised I was trans because I thought it made me too girly. Now I'm confident in my masc identity, I've gotten rid of that hatred and love watching doll customisation videos - it happens, y'know? But for trans women, it might just be more evidence of an unsupportive father trying to impose more masculine likes on a transgirl. It has connections to both sides!
He's so important to trans people as a whole even if he was never intentionally coded that way. John's a cis man. He was always written as a cis man by a cis man. I can't imagine that Hussie intended anything else especially when you consider that "I'm not a homosexual" never ended up leading to "actually I am". The whole joke there is that John's just your plan cishet guy - and it was always intended that way, hence why so much of our representation is happening post-canon (their "actual" identities in Homestuck stay unchanged, but now we're in post-canon with the main story ended Hussie's willing to play around a bit). But somehow, his experiences strike so close to a lot of trans people - and that's kind of amazing, actually.
I just wish now that we had a transmasc character who was actually coded transmasc.

id love to be able to comment on stuff with any like real good faith but I cant like *cognitively* this weird discourse especially over this past like week or so makes me feel really broken cuz I cant really participate since by accepting the premise I'd be casting aside a lot of cognitive tools that allow me to function when the previous like 5 fucking years of trying to be like normal and material in all this shit just didn't work like fuck it with identity the most helpful thing was just taking advice from otherkin and picking Lain as a representation for depersonalisation. cuz I cant even feel the original name I picked out when I first began transition, I cant feel any kind of real identifier at all! going off the basics of the discourse I do understand would require pushing against a brick wall of neurological damage cuz any kind of identifier that comes from the outside doesn't fit or work even if I do technically match the definition! I feel really paralyzed with this current level lof discourse cuz it just makes me feel stupid and morally wrong just for having brain damage and only being able to comprehend like half of what's being said in just blugh I don't know I don't know anything at all
i cant believe any of you since its not safe on here :c
unfortunatly due to the social milieu of Tumblr if I see discourse I basically have to block you a lot of the time since sweeping broad statements that warrent only "yes and" doesn't work with my fucked up neurology so Its earnestly better for my mental health to discount it entirely if its on Tumblr or else I'll go insane cuz in real life you can just tell me something and I'll believe it even if I know its not true and that sucks if you got contradictory information cuz then it just hurts the same as physical pain but like as if my fucking temporal lobe wants to kill me.

Introduction to Data Science
Whether you're spic and span to information science, have considered going all in this field or are a specialist, you ought to realize that working with information is tied in with producing information.
Add to Reading List
There are numerous small bunches of ways information can improve things. Consider these:
Recounting stories
Investigating connections
Backing up choices
Tracking down designs
Making a decision about tests
Addressing questions
When anaylyzing information, the objective is to transform data into experiences and to make bits of knowledge about the right things, we should pose the right inquiries.
Rehearsing any of the above well would expect one to have a large number "hard abilities" like coding, representation, information cleaning, math demonstrating, chart translations, and so on.
What is undeniably less discussed are the "delicate abilities" for making information valuable, and of the multitude of abilities that a fruitful understudy or master of information science requirements to have, decisive reasoning is certainly at the first spot on that list. All information experts and researchers ought to embrace decisive reasoning as a vital expertise and ability.
I've explored and examined decisive reasoning for myself to construct my own abilities for information examination: What is it, for what reason is it significant, what are the advantages, when is it required and how might we get better at it?

Thinking
In the event that we were to intentionally contemplate all our activities, we wouldn't have sufficient mental energy for the significant things, so having a lot of our considerations happen naturally can be something to be thankful for.

This quote of a post I just saw is the reason why I deeply hate our actual society:
well, as always, i have to ask why anyone would want to take a lesbian character away from lesbians, when she has been such lovely representation for us and many lesbians, especially traumatized ones, relate so strongly to her.
you could write caithe into a relationship with a man, instead of shipping him with nearly any other character in the game, but it reflects on you—how you see lesbians, and (dis)regard their comfort in this community. and it will always be hurtful. just something to keep in mind.
I won’t highlight the fact the original author of the post cares more about the contingent of characters having the same sexuality as themselves than about the fact the shippers don’t respect the character and it’s story itself, as they probably love to turn straight characters into bis/pans/lesbians and find that fine when they saw others doing it.
No, their main concern isn’t respecting the character, it’s only the representation of themselves. Which seems to be the only obsession of lot of people on internet tbh.
But there’s a fact :
Nobody can take you away something which isn’t yours at the start.
And Caithe, just like any character of this game, isn’t yours. You can forbid someone to use your own character, it’s your right. But you can’t do that for a game character.
It’s sad that some people come to silly arguments like that just because of the representation of a sexuality. Just as if a character was only that. GW2 offers lof of different representations and you aren’t forced to like every fanart or ship. But trying to forbid people to have their own tastes just because you don’t like isn’t ok at all. As long as those persons don’t say that their view is the official one it’s not a problem.
Maybe this fandom should stop being so hypocritical and stop using double standard when it suits its needs.
