god there’s also something so juicy about morrigan becoming mythal’s host by choice after flemeth died because 1. it IS kind of what her mother said originally right, about how it would never be forced upon her, but also 2. removing flemeth from the picture allowed morrigan to reclaim that choice. she is sheltering mythal’s spirit because in a way flemeth failed them both and she is determined to be better
