thinking about the person on youtube that posted a comment on the "flora loses the game" video saying "Sometimes I get the impression this girl flora is in love with donatela idk lol" and a timestamp to the part of the video that makes them think flora is in love with donatela. And this is the part they're talking about:

I ripped it off from the official yt channel and subtitled it in english for (some) context but the main thing is: they're childhood friends, turned famous singers, turned enemies, flora killed donatela's husband who was also her own lover, went to jail, got out of jail, made everyone think donatela did it and donatela had to fake her own death. In this scene Donatela tried to trick flora into believing she was losing it to get a confession out of her.

I couldn't find the very next scene but she says "You're worried about me?" and kinda smiles and …Harold?

donatela beating the straight allegations by thinking lovingly of when she and flora were little kids and saying flora was beautiful like a doll with her curls and her eyes and vividly remembering flora saying "you are my favorite, you know?" to the point that the novela is titled The Favorite because she's flora's favorite ok

i wonder if in that ending lara still ends up with donatela's bio son but cause of their bloodlines, meaning they might kill each other some day and it will be her fault

like if they wanted the implication that this sht will never end then keeping flora alive in prison in dubious mental state is better than "hey your daughter was doomed from the start and might kill you and your son. just so you all know" I get why they changed it after it leaked people were probably upset about it

pt 1:

flora, arrested for killing marcelo, donatela fontini's husband, gets out of jail after serving her sentence with the mission to prove her innocence and establish a relationship with her daughter, lara, who was raised by donatela as her own daughter. lara is marcelo and flora's biologial daughter, as marcelo was having an affair with flora at the time and was going to leave donatela for flora

we learn that flora and donatela were a sertanejo singing duo discovered by flora's father and they fell out later on.

flora is well received by marcelo's family, who all dislike donatela and believe she is the true culprit, while flora's father strongly believes she committed the murder and favors donatela. But flora manages to convince almost everyone of donatela's guilt.

Confronted by donatela, she finaly admits she did kill marcelo and she is doing all of this to donatela with the intention of ruining her life as revenge for leaving her carreer with her to marry marcelo, leaving flora ruined, as she couldn't proceed alone. she gets donatela in jail for marcelo's murder, is accepted by marcelo's rich family and her daughter is opening up to her.

pt 2:

donatela, who was arrested for killing her husband marcelo, fakes her death and breaks out of prison, trying to prove her innocence and reestablish a relationship with her daughter, lara, who is being raised by flora, the true murderer, as her daughter.

Marcelo was not Lara's biological father, and was lied to by flora in the hopes that her daughter would both become the heir to his fortune and that he would leave donatela for her. he found out the truth, and that flora was also having an affair with family friend Dodi, Lara's true father, and claimed he would leave her. Flora, who is obsessed with donatela and always felt inferior to her, murdered him in anger and was arrested. Flora claimed donatela was the true murderer and marcelo's family believed her due to her "angel-like" appearance, being white blonde and having an innocent looking face, as she tells marcelo's mom. Before that, flora killed marcelo's father, although not knowing he was working with donatela and that donatela was alive.

donatela, out of jail, must find out a way to get evidences that her judgement was corrupted by flora and that flora is the true culprit, while out of money, friends, influence and resources.

flora keeps trying to destroy/kill everyone and everything donatela loves because she feels donatela ruined her life by leaving her, which donatela exploits to have her confess her crimes. after learning that in fact, flora loves her and was heartbroken about her death and that flora's main motivation was never to kill donatela but to make her pay, she goes into flora's home claiming she recognizes her guilt in leaving her and she now wants to take care of her which, given flora's obsession, love, and deteorating mental state, works, although someone does get murdered in the process.

After flora is tricked into believing she killed donatela, the one thing she could never recover from, she confesses her crimes and, learning donatela is alive and believing all of donatela's love has always been a lie, a desperate flora fails to run away and gets hurt. she is taken to the hospital for treatment. A free woman, donatela gets married to the new love of her life who supported her and helped her prove her innocence.

Feeling completely betrayed twice, mentally destroyed and with nothing to lose, flora runs away from the hospital and shows up at their honeymoon to terrorize and kill them, keeps not killing them, gets asked why didn't she kill them already, perhaps she still can't bring herself to kill donatela or is she waiting for more people to arrive so she can kill donatela's loved ones in front of her first? open to interpretation. she even says donatela can't possibly expect her to fall for her love speeches right before telling her to try because she wants to hear her pathetic lies or something similar. when donatela's family does in fact arrive, flora tries to get lara to shoot and kill her to prove she is just like her to which lara, having a nervous breakdown, shoots her but manages not to kill flora, claiming she is donatela's daughter and not flora's.

flora goes to jail, gets absolutely wrecked by donatela's vengeful prison friend. Says her name is Donatela when asked.

at home, donatela tells her husband how she vividly remembers the first time her and flora sang together, and through her memory we see that she had always seen flora with a lot of love and that flora wasn't the weak mediocre person she believed she was. Still in the memory, flora tells donatela that she's her favorite, the two girls hug and continue singing, the end.

also there's other plots i guess idk i wasn't paying attention (irene and copola forever though)
