it's embarassing as hell, but sometimes i wish could discuss a certain anime i rewatched a few months ago with others to both bitch about the terrible parts and gush about the good parts

#kind of the epitome of 'i'm obsessed with this. i don't recommend it even slightly' for me #unless you can put up with anime bullshit #and while it isn't extremely high on that scale #there was enough wrt gender roles that left me groaning esp since it takes place 200 years in the future #otoh some of the characters were pretty interesting #and the relationship between a trans girl and her boyfriend towards the end of the series was sweet for the most part imo
