I just have this image of this young boy, looking towards his father like he's a titan. He's so tall, so grand and so unreachable. His memory is probably extremely fuzzy of him too since it's been thousands of years since he'd last seen him.

I think he still holds him in high regard, but it's more akin to devoting oneself to the memory of a legend than a father figure. The feeling of looking up to him as an infant is probably the strongest memory he has of Adam, and that's not much to go off of. I don't even think he remembers his face... Just some recognizable blobs shadowed by the sunset.

#about.#as for his mom i think he doesn't remember her much #he was so devoted to his dad that he took her for granted #his rejection of her was probably a mirrored thing from his childhood bc his dad was frustrared and upset w her #so he emulated that without thinking twice #sure he accepted her love when it was given to him but he was incapable of returning it #there might've been some possession of her dignity because he felt at peace when she was kind to him #but i think he blocked a lot of his memories of her because it caused him so much inner conflict in regards to the entire situation w eden #and then the abel thing happened... i think he feels a lot of shame #especially towards her. not only does he have complex feelings towards her but he'd caused her immeasurable grief #it's a lot of weight to carry on top of everything #10K years and he's still just coping
