The Lans and Nies have no right to check and intrude between whatever is going on between Wei Wuxian, the Wen remnants and the Jins. Yet, they somehow have enough rights to go and witness the deaths of Wen Qing and Wen Ning with their clan disciples. And why were these two being killed? Because Jin Zixuan died by the hands of Wen Ning in an ambush set forth by the Jins upon Wei Wuxian, who was invited to Koi Tower by the Jins! So, it's definitely the Jin's matter, yet now you guys can come!
And what ends up happening? Somehow, Wen Ning who is being supported by Hanguang-jun loses control and ... kills Lans and Nies? Not the Jins! In the Jin palace! In an event orchestrated by the Jins! Death by a fierce corpse that the Jins should have prepared for! A whole ass cultivation sect? And a fierce corpse can go and kill whoever it wants?
But great!
Because you guys didn't ever go and check what the matter at Burial Mounds actually was like, because not your problem! Now, it has become your problem and you're forced to take part in the oath ceremony to go raze the Burial Mounds, and then you know, to defend himself, Wei Wuxian comes! And somehow it's his fault for "slaughtering." As if you guys weren't going along with the flow, not even questioning for a second why the smart Yiling Laozu would kill the people who could have stood up for him? And then what? You guys were present at the Oath Ceremony so more of you ended up dying, and now you have to go and take part in the slaughter of 50 innocent men and women and old people!!
Just because you were in positions of power, yet chose inaction. You got completely played! Naive.
Now, that's not enough yet.
Now, there's only two people who could've saved Nie Mingjue - Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing. But they're both already gone! Perhaps if Lan Wangji wasn't in seclusion, he would've stood up against the slaughter of all those minor clans who "tried to assassinate sect leader Jin"! But he is!
Now, Lan Xichen would rather shrug off both of his sworn brothers showing utmost hostility towards each other and increasing amounts of killing intent as a misunderstanding. He would think, oh he's being so nice and nuanced, understanding how people have to sometimes do bad things to maintain peace :((
Like, Lan Xichen's whole identity is built over avoiding conflict. When it comes to good and evil, there is no third side. How can you preach righteousness if you're not willing to carry the burden of morality? Sympathy doesn't equate to righteousness. Perhaps, if be wasn't a sect leader, he'd be good. But when you're a sect leader, being good isn't enough! Your inaction amounts to hundreds of lives.
Wei Wuxian perhaps has the most blood on his hands yet he values even the life of some useless servant, or some half-dead grandmother. You're all letting entire clans die to maintain a peaceful environment and you're thinking you're being righteous. If you have doubts then check them out!
Why are Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji so fated?
Well, firstly they've seen how "ugly" the other can get. Lan Wangjj knows that Wei Wuxian can turn up the heavens for righteousness, that he'll gladly walk through hell, if he could he would even offer up his own pieces of flesh. Wei Wuxian knows Lan Wangji cannot pretend things are okay when they're not. He is stubborn to no end with what he believes to be right, is willing to bear each and every consequence. He'd rather do what he thinks is right and accept the punishment later, whatever that will be.
In the face of truth, you can't hide, and you can't be prejudiced.
Wei Wuxian was hurt so much by Wen Chao, thrown into the Burial Mounds yet he brought the same surnamed Wens into Burial Mounds willingly to protect them! How can Nie Mingjue simply act on his hatred? In your righteousness to kill all evil, you started killing without exceptions and became the evil himself!
And why does Lan Xichen not have anything to say about Xue Yang? "Er-ge... this is what father wants." But Jin Guangshan is also a sect leader! Lan Xichen is also a sect leader!
I wonder what Lan Xichen said to Wangji after his visit to the Burial Mounds.
"Xiongzhang, there isn't an army but a child, the elderly, the women."
"Wangji. I understand. But Wei-gongzi has really upset the orthodox society now. It is no longer about the Wens. His cultivation is evil, and he holds the Tiger Seal... he even brought back Wen Ning's consciousness... you believe you know him..."
And boom, tell that to Jin Guangyao and three days later, everyone knows about Wen Ning. Props to Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji for not holding grudges towards anyone and simply riding off to the sunset and even helping everyone who never tried to understand their true hearts.
Both of them are really blessed.

Brothers & sisters please keep me and my husband in your dua. My mother in law is doing sihr to distance my husband from me and created hatred in his heart. He’s not the same anymore and it feels like everything is going towards divorce. I’m trying my best to save my marriage and crying to Allah but I feel so scared and anxious.
Jazak’Allah Khayr for reading this
Assalamu 'alaykum sister,
oh this is horrible, may Allah help the both of you and protect you both. Ameen. I know of someone who went through the same, unfortunately, it seems like this is a somewhat common thing. Mother's who are way too attached to their sons can resort to such evil things, may Allah protect us, ameen.
I know you did not ask for advice but I would like to give my two cents, if you do not mind.
But first thing is, are you sure your statement is true? A lot of times we defer our issues to black magic or evil eye but it could be own our sins or haram rizq, etc.
Please don't go to those people who say that they can find out if you have been a victim of black magic and they can even tell you who done it, they are bogus people doing absolutely haram!
If you have any amulets/taweez in your house, discard of them in the proper way. If you have photos with people in it hanging up in your house, take them down. Do ruqyah daily, have Surah Baqarah recited in the home daily. If you have any haram rizq coming in, do away with it , and look for halal. Both of you need to recite the 3 Quls 3 times each, blow in your hands, and wipe all over yourself, needs to be done morning and evening (fajr & maghrib) daily. This is an authentic hadith to deal with sihr (I can share the hadith if you would like for me to).
Consult a knowledgeable religious leader who looks for authenticity in their learning.
Be open with your spouse, if they don't know what's going on or what you feel is going on, you are doing a big disservice to your marriage. You can tell your husband your suspicions and why you suspect it. You both, together, will need to limit your interaction with your MIL greatly. Do not allow her in your homes, limit to talking to her only on the phones. Keep trusting Allah. And please, do not say you know it is your MIL, unless you have proof, because if she isn't, she will have quite a case against you on the Day of Judgment. To your husband, you can say that you suspect it as I mentioned before.
May Allah help you both overcome the issues in your marriage and put barakah, protection, and love in your marriage. May Allah remove any sihr or effects of evil eyes on your marriage and safeguard the both of you from it. May Allah grant you both a marriage full of peace and goodness, ameen ya rabb.
Lastly, (I am not saying to let go as a first resort, but a last resort): If you have children especially, if your husband is not complying to the treatments, and you think it's time to let go, trust your instincts after making dua for Allah to guide you. The lady I know who went through this is still in her marriage, it's been about 20 years since the chaos started, her husband hates her and disrespects her greatly. The children have been badly affected by this, they resent their mother a bit for staying in the marriage and have a minimal relationship with their father. When I go to her home, it's a strange and depressing aura, I dislike being there. I even suggested her kids to tell their parents to change houses because she found weird stuff in the house after her MIL and SIL came to visit, and in case there were more things she had not found yet, but the husband wouldn't agree unfortunately. So that might also be something you can look into. She still has hope for husband to change and that is why she is still staying but genuinely, no one agrees with her choice, not her kids, not even me, 20 years of all your husband doing is hating and disrespecting you, not giving your rights, and treating your children terribly? Additionally, he doesn't pray salah and says he is angry with Allah for taking his mother (she passed away). If this lady were not a mother and she wants to stay in hopes of things getting better, okay sure, I personally still don't agree with it but at the end of the day, it is her choice. But if your children are involved, I don't think one should stay for so long where your children are being emotionally and mentally tortured. I personally don't agree with it, may Allah forgive me if I am wrong. No judgment to her, her situation is very difficult, but I bring this up as an example to you that sometimes it's best to let go and move on, especially if kids are involved. Again, please note, I am not saying this as a first resort, please do give your best to your marriage, and give it time, it can take years to heal. But reconsider if you should stay if it's greatly affecting you and your children (if you have children) after all of the efforts put in, especially especially if your husband is not complying to the treatments.
May Allah help and protect you both, ameen. Take care my sister and keep your trust in Allah. 💗

This is a really cool insight, and I want to add another thing that makes Neutral stand out here. The times when neutral can make peace are also times where the non-neutral alignments are either irrelevant or would just make the situation worse.
For the Brevan Civil War, while Jamandi is (IIRC) officially Lawful Good the two factions as a whole are not really fussed about morality. It may be about freedom for the Aldori, but they also see it as a matter of (personal) honor and duty to want to get out from the shadow that Choral had created by conquest. The Surtovas do not want bloodshed, but their ambitions to the Brevan throne will not allow them to simply let Restov break away.
There isn't really an angle for any of the alignments to specifically dig into to undo the conflict, so if a corner alignment baron(ess) wants to disarm it they are not equipped for the task in the corner alignments or their reputation would make it difficult for one of the two sides to put their genuine grievances aside.
A neutral baron(ess), however, can sidestep all the questions of morality or balance them to find a solution that does not make either side happy, but averts the bloodshed that neither was eager for but had accepted as necessary.
With the mites and kobolds, both believe the other to have betrayed them, so it is a matter of honor to strike back. Neither are going to be moved by pleas of morality given that these are both Evil factions, and both absolutely want this fight. Again, there is no real angle for a corner-alignment not-yet-baron(ess) to dig into, but a neutral one can balance their beliefs enough to put aside their hatred just long enough to deal with the real issue - Tartuccio, at which point they have enough common ground and the inciting incident is dealt with, allowing peace again.
Though not restricted to Neutral characters, this is also the key to Kanerah and Kalikke reconciling: picking one or the other in full alienates the other. Just as the Forefather expects - Good or Chaos risking Kanerah to save the Sweet Teeth alienates Kanerah (you are risking her soul after all). Sticking to the plan or callously sacrificing the Sweet Teeth alienates Kalikke (as you are sacrificing her friends). But personally charging in to save them without risking Kanerah appeals to both because Kanerah is not recklessly risked and Kalikke can save her friends - and even if it fails, the important thing was that you stuck to the plan but tried to save the bait despite personal risk.
Now one could argue that the "charge in" choice makes sense for any alignment, but thematically it was meant to be a point of balance between the two, hence why it was TN.
I've been playing Owlcat's adaptation of Pathfinder: Kingmaker and have some thoughts
There's a choices they made when designing their game that I think are really interesting from a design perspective, even if I don't fully understand or even agree with them in all cases, but they are useful intellectual exercises. Perhaps the most interesting to me is how they handle Neutral alignments.
I'm going to assume most people finding this know about the 3x3 Alignment grid used in Dungeons and Dragons and other games descended from it, including the 1e version of Pathfinder that the video game is based on. The classic Lawful vs Chaotic and Good vs Evil. Countless gallons of ink and terabytes of text have been spilled over this very basic system, but it's usually the ends of those axes that get the attention. Neutral rarely gets as much detail or analysis about it compared to Good/Evil/Chaos/Law, and it's usually in one of three modes. If I had to come up with names or descriptors for them, I'd go with something like Unaligned, Not Opted In, and Balance, and versions of these exist for both axes. Unaligned is when these opposing forces don't register for you at all, usually due to a lack of cognitive capability. Simple constructs, plants, and animals often fall in the Unaligned category, and I've heard this approach to Neutral basically described as "Neutral Hungry" - what does a bear think about moral debates? It doesn't, it only cares about whether it's hungry or not. Most people don't expect complex philosophical thinking out of a pitcher plant. Not Opted In is when a person has enough cognitive capacity that they could make principled decisions regarding the two axes, but for whatever reason simply don't or haven't. Most people aren't saints or devils, paragons or chameleons. They're just... normal. They're not concerned with cosmic struggles for Freedom versus Order, or pledged to uphold the tenets of Kindness or the debasements of Sin. They just kinda go about doing their thing without needing a big picture. When they make decisions, alignment isn't their primary factor - other things like practicality, culture, needs, and other mundane forces are more important to them. Balance is when a person does have cognitive capacity to recognize these dynamics, and intentionally chooses none of them. This is the classic Druid alignment, the middle way between the extremes. It is a choice and a firm principle, but not in a Lawful or Chaotic way, but in a way that is simultaneously both and neither.
There are certain universal dialogue options in Kingmaker that are tagged with alignments. Any character can choose those options, and doing so will shift your alignment meter towards that alignment very slightly. Then there are some that are tagged with "Requires Good/Evil/Law/Chaos/Neutral" - for those ones, only characters who have that alignment can select it, and also gives a bump towards that alignment. Pretty straightforward, and a fairly representative way to handle these systems in a rigid video game. The universal Neutral options (whether that's True Neutral, Neutral Good, Neutral Evil, Chaotic Neutral, or Lawful Neutral) tend to be somewhere around Unaligned or Not Opted In. Where things get interesting is when we look at the "Requires Neutral" options - all the examples I can think of are written intentionally from a Balance perspective. They come up when two independent groups or forces are in opposition, and these options allow you to either choose no side, or choose BOTH sides as a mediator. And when you choose those options, there truly is an opportunity for reconciliation that prevents otherwise inevitable division and even bloodshed. If you asked me out of the blue "Hey, where on the alignment grid do you find brokering a peace agreement between two opposed factions that stops a civil war?" I'd probably guess either Good or Lawful. Owlcat Games says, "No, that's True Neutral." And the opposing forces don't need to be different halves of an alignment axis - there's a section early on where the only way to not take a side between two Lawful Evil groups and prevent escalation to full-blown conflict is to take an option that Requires Neutral. There's scenarios later that let you act a mediator between two very different people, and two opposed nations, and if you want to truly be able to bring both sides to the table in those scenarios, you have to be Neutral. Even if your intended outcomes are things like "Foster understanding" or "Avert a civil war," things I would categorize as Good, the game makes them Neutral. My current playthrough is mostly Chaotic Good, and I've been pretty satisfied with those options. But when there is deep, deep opposition between two groups in the Stolen Lands, Good won't always bridge a gap between them, but Neutral can. This makes Neutral options an actual Choice instead of just the thing you pick when there's not a Good/Lawful/Chaotic/Evil option - it is a principled position on its own, just as nuanced and effective as the extremes of the chart, and not just the weird ugly grey color in the middle of the alignment chart, and I think that's neat. That's different than the way I thought about it before, and that's cool to analyze.

Arthur Harrow with dominant Male S/o
My Stories are meant for the much more mature audience, 18+. YANDERE Arthur
Backstory: He thought Ammit was the one he needed, but he was so very wrong. Arthur found a new god, he was going to worship, whatever it takes.
Tumblr media
You weren't a god that was typically worshipped, it was because most of the gods despised you, because their avatars and worshippers would always seem to be drawn towards you, their power on earth was rather feeble when you were in the picture.
Ammit's judgment soon tried to reach you, She sat by Ma'at scales to figure out what you truly were, but the scales broke, Ammit took it into her own hands to judge you, but she couldn't, it nearly drove her insane, were evil, were you good?
The destruction and chaos you brought down were like hell itself, but at the same time, the peace, and forgiveness, you gave were revolutionary, it was also heaven itself. The gods didn't know what to do so they locked you away, and imprisoned you, much to multiple gods that favored you dismay.
Set tried to forcefully get you out of this prison, with the help of other gods such as Khonsu, Anubis, and Hathor. unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and mourned their fellow god for not being able to see or be around them, the other gods put this betrayal on Kohnsu considering he was already despicable in their eyes, even though the other gods and goddesses tried to defend him it ended in vain.
"[Name]," Ammit whispered right before her own capture, if one person would be able to free her, it would be him, or his Avatar which he hasn't taken one in...yet.
<<>>><<<>>><<<>>>><<<>>><<>>><<>>>><<>>><>>>><<>>>><>>>>>
"Well, Well...Look who is here." You purred out in the bleak and plain area of nothingness. Ammit seethed out looking around in the prison.
The other gods and goddesses were quite lazy with their prison making...they would send all the same gods and goddesses to the same place of nothingness.
Ammit, stood up in all her glory looking at you before she let out a sigh. "Must, I really be trapped in here with YOU?" Ammit shook with annoyance as she bobbed her crocodile head.
She curiously looked at you to see you seated at a table with a game of---what is that? Ammit curiously looked at the cards.
"It's called Uno, Apophis brought it to me, he pops in on occasions..." You shrugged, "Apophis..." Ammit slowly spoke out, hatred in her eyes and voice as Apophis was a deity who embodied chaos.
Ammit slowly made her way over to you, taking a seat. "Very well.."
<>
Ammit flipped the table over with intense rage, "I HATE UNO, AND I HATE YOU-" Ammit stalked off into the nothingness and grumpily stomped around.
It has been over two thousand years, since playing Uno none stop with you, but for you, it has been longer, Ammit, didn't know how you did it, being able to play the same game over and over and over and OVER- And the fact that you could leave whenever you wanted even boggled her godly mind more...so she stayed with you hoping you would break out, obviously you were content on stay where you were.
She suddenly froze in her spot, slowly turning around to face you. "My power is being used..." Ammit purred out with delight, Her eyes frantically looking around as if seeing something that isn't there.
Smirking, "Luckily I won't be here for long." Ammit sat down, you knew what she was going to do, I mean, when playing Uno you both did talk a lot...she told you her plans about making the earth a peaceful place, devouring all the evil souls.
It sounded boring, I mean, there were heroes for a reason...but killing children before they could do evil that they would do in the future, sounds harsh, but who were you judging.
You looked how happy Ammit seemed to be-- A large sinister smile placed itself on your face. I mean she was one of the goddesses that placed you in this prison...
"So your...Avatar--is your way out....Well, he isn't your avatar yet huh..?" You lulled out, her nodding as she daydreamed.
"HAHAHAAHAH-" You began to laugh and hold your stomach while looking at her. "Well, it looks like I have a worshiper to woo~" You smiled got off your seat, and looked at the bleak floor below you.
"What?" Ammit was confused, you would escape this awful prison just to get back at her would yo----A portal...no a way out formed below your feet, as Ammit screeched and quickly tried to rush over to pry herself out of this prison.
But it was too late, you were gone, along with the way out!! Screaming and raging Ammit, threw out all her anger.
<<>>><<<<>>><<>>>><<>>><<>>><>>><><>>>><<<<>>>><>>>>><<>>
Arthur looked at Mark, before calmly speaking, "Kohnsu, told you yet another lie, [Name] the god of, destruction, hatred, and yet also held the title of god of peace, and forgiveness...He is not real, there has been no record of this god." Arthur slowly spoke not knowing that it was the complete opposite.
'That makes utterly no sense, if he wasn't real why would Kohnsu constantly speak about him, I mean it's not like there is a purpose of him telling us about [Name], it's not like he's trying to use the god's name for anything...' Steven blabbered to Mark, meanwhile, Mark was closely watching Arthur.
Arthur was obviously trying to bring Mark, and Steven's trust in Kohnsu down some of it working but they still persist in stopping Arthur.
Mark suddenly jumped forward getting ready to attack, but before he could even lay a hand on him, he was thrown back by a rough force of magic power coming from Arthurs's staff.
The man let out a sigh, as he slammed his cain down, and quickly summoned Jackals, "I'm afraid this will once again be our parting." Arthur spoke, letting the Jackals deal with the avatar(s).
Arthur and the other cult members of Ammit made their way from the scene.
"Who is [Name]?" One of the female cult members asked gently, Arthur suddenly froze once she asked this question before slowly picking up his pace, after a while of walking he decided to speak.
"A made-up god, that I wanted to dedicate my life to after Kohnsu promised to let me go...He made up this god to string me along into his path of hatred and death." He slowly declaimed, letting out a sigh before giving a smile, "But it is all right, We, have Ammit now." The cult members slowly nodded.
<<>>><<<<>>><<>>>><<>>><<>>><>>><><>>>><<<<>>>><>>>>><<>>
Arthur gently leaned back observing the view from his balcony of Siwa located in Egypt. "Paradise..." He slowly whispered closing his eyes, imagining the life of happiness that Ammit would bring.
Slowly opening his eyes, he heard someone yawn from behind him, slowly turning around he was met with a figure on his bed, relaxing while looking at him.
"It's quite rude to enter unannounced..." Arthur spoke, watching as you stretch your arms and sit up instead of laying, giving him a better view of your handsome features, your hair slightly a mess
Carefully observing your movements, his eyes trail to your outfit, before quickly stopping himself from having unpure thoughts.
"So, you want to release Ammit?" You asked standing up, and slowly making your way over to him, your body wasn't a large size like the gods loved to portray themselves to their avatars or any mortal, it was simply a normal size.
Arthur simply nodded his head, "I hope you were not sent here to stop me, the world can become a paradise, Ammit will stop any crime before it has happened, and she will devour the souls of the people who already have done bad...-" Arthur tried to sway you as he would do with anyone, he didn't want people to die really, however it was for the greater good.
His breath slightly halted as he got a better look at you, you looked exactly like how the god [Name] was described by Kohnsu.
"You use to be an avatar of Kohnsu...yes? It does really make me angry how the other gods belittle him..." Letting out a gentle hum, you slightly towered over Arthur who looked at you in awe, you should see him ever so slightly shaking.
Placing your hand on his forehead, you suddenly whispered, "Are you alright? I know how you humans are prone to sickness..." You slowly felt on his forehead, it was a normal temperature for a mortal.
"[Name]?" Arthur pronounces, his voice becoming slightly breathy. His eyes became slightly hazed with admiration and worship.
"Yes..." You asked out, watching as Arthur fell to his knees, the sounds of glass could be heard in his shoes from falling down as it made a slightly scratchy noise.
Arthur needlessly drops his cane throwing it aside slightly. His head leaning down on your legs, taking in all in, that you were real, and in front of him.
"I'm sorry, I doubted your existence- I'm sorry for my unforgivable past--" He stumbled on his words, gulping down the saliva stuck in his throat. "I'm...sorry for worshipping another- --" Arthur stopped speaking as you sightly gripped his hair, forcing him to look up at you.
Gently caressing Arthur's face with your other hand and gave him a smile watching the tears fall from his face. "It's alright, you were mine from the very beginning, hm?" You gently state as Arthur leaned into your touch.
"Good, thing you were trying to free Ammit, I mean it did give me a reason to leave the place...I was also getting tired of being imprisoned..." You muttered to him, before asking the soon-to-be ex-cult member of Ammit.
"Would you like to be my avatar?" Arthur looked at you in astonishment before eagerly nodding before using his words, "I am--Unworthy to be your avatar I--" Arthur was cut off by you helping him stand up.
"Shush, say yes, I know you want to." You smirked as he nodded his head, "Very, well.I am very---" A sudden wave of power entered Arthurs's body as he couldn't even finish speaking feeling your power glaze over his entire body.
"Most, gods use, these weird oath things on their avatars.....but I just prefer the shock on their face once they feel power entering their bodies." You explain as Arthur slowly regained his composure.
"The glass in your shoes..take them out, it makes an irritating noise when you walk." You disclose with a look of disgust.
Arthur stared at you, with a small smile on his face.

What do you think it would happen if Game! Terra meet Gigamix! Terra?
Nothing good.
Terra is a jerk to the point where he barely tolerates himself, I doubt Terra would like it if he ever met a counterpart, no matter which timeline he originates from.
Spoiler Warning (Mega Man Archie Comics; Ra Moon & Stardroid arcs), mentions of gore, war, genocide & homicidal jerk behavior from Terra's end
Game!Terra is a major downgrade from Gigamix, the bars from there are all low to be honest. Don't get me wrong. Terra's entire role in the game-Archie as well-is pretty dark for Capcom's standards in the eyes of the real world. But not as dark as Argia's characterization of him portrayed.
Game!Terra is much more moderate and eased. Not to mention far less apocalyptic and fairly tame.
Gigamix!Terra is another story; in every single way you can think of. Psychopathic; no humanity with violent tendencies and motivations. Genocide isn't even the tip of the iceberg; only one phase of a multi-stepped plan, bringing Earth's inhabitants toward a deserved demise.
It won't stop at that. Oh no, Gigamix!Terra barely just begun; chaos will rain, despair shall infect the Earth at core, and Terra will view it all; the end of humanity, the devastating death of Earth. And he will laugh.
Gigamix!Terra will watch, look upon the insects in evil glee as disorder quakes Earth's balance of nature off the axis. At peace with what he is, and what he is meant to do; destroy. Completely, utterly obsessed over destruction and pure devastation. His infernal hatred of life in general keeps his motivation at peck performance.
While Game!Terra is sociopathic at worst, he held some symbiose of a bond, a fondness for family. His brothers are highly regarded, a respected group of powerful forces not to be reckoned. Fast and strong, too good to be true. Better than tools, more than their bodies give. Cleaner then trash to throw away when Game!Terra finishes.
He is a great team leader, an experienced strategist in extraordinary war planning. Demanding but respectful, strict but mindful of their foes as they jump into battle. Game!Terra knows just what to say to bring his brother's minds together and fight as a single opposing calamity.
Dare say he cares for their safety (I'd say he cares for the Kuiper droids too. A basketball coach would for his team, one he trained til he could no longer sweat, pieced together day and night.)
Yes, Game!Terra is still an asshole; will kill, will destroy. Capable of berating and insulting others who don't deserve it, beneath him in knowledge and force. Given his line of work, that is predictable.
In the end, from how its put, he fulfills his position; a weaker servant to Sunstar. A world-conquering servant, laying patient underneath his great master. A job he is devoted too.
Tumblr media
Violence aside, Game!Terra isn't nearly as incredibly extreme compared to his Gigamix version. Game!Terra is still selfish as hell, boundless in his strictness. But at least he contains some glimpses of humane emotions.
Brief as it is, its there.
Despite everything, Game!Terra cares for his brothers, nonetheless. As much so as a true brother would, looking after his family. He values them; hears their opinions, knows their efforts, respects their strength and works together in a common goal. He relates to the burdens, to any pain they may suffer. Training to look beyond weakness, exploit to adapt.
Most importantly, I feel like I should state this as clear as possible:
Game!Terra wants to rule Earth, not erase it.
-
Meanwhile Gigamix!Terra can't make it more obvious how much he fucking hates Earth and the universe.
Ok, seriously. Back to violence again.
He is out here floating in Earth's orbit, all crazy smiles like a motherfucker. Declaring war not only to robots, not only to humanity. But literally Earth itself.
Tumblr media
Look at this bitch. Think he gives any fucks? Any shits?
If you said "yes" you're lying.
This pale ass bitch couldn't give a shit about anything. Especially when it comes down his own brothers, he doesn't even regard them as true siblings in some English translations of the Gigamix manga if we are really stretching the line paper thin.
Do I even need to talk about the stupid eyeball scene?!
Gigamix!Terra is horrible and terrifying. His brothers-oh no sorry, let me correct myself. His brethren are mere subordinates; soldiers meant to die doing as they were made to do. Tools to be used in Gigamix!Terra's plans to destroy the Earth.
It seems not much of a difference but given these are the Stardroids from 2 vastly separate worlds, I deem it very notable.
-
But back on the topic of your question, I really really can't see them getting along good.
I see Gigamix!Terra being kind of baffled at first, but then grows owl-like curiosity. You'd be pretty interested in meaning another version of yourself if you lived in the same timeline.
But that doesn't make Gigamix!Terra any less fucking creepy. A blank, blinkless stare and a harmless head tilt wearing a sinister smirk that doesn't reach his eyes.
Not surprised that different versions of him exist, existence is filled with different, limitless possibilities. It's a big world, just with small people. Interesting, this quite unexpected union. Fairly intrigued upon seeing an in-game self.
If Game!Terra lives then how many others are out there? None Gigamix!Terra bothers counting.
Their meeting will be less then friendly, however. No pleasantries, just empty stares, empty words. Tension will fill the air between, distrust and a dramatic show of their so similar powers. They are predators, equipped with flawless, apex senses and speed. Daring the other, their strange twin to move first, spark the inevitable battle. An aura of conflict, a heavy weight. Total unrest from Game!Terra's end, refusing to unveil any type of vulnerability. No one knows you better then yourself; thoughts, emotions and innermost turmoil.
It's a living joke, a possibility born from another impossibility. And they await the other to laugh. To call "sike", a signal for the illusion to fall flat. It doesn't happen, much to their displeasure. They view each other as potential threats, and almost groan in annoyance. More enemies to deal with in the future, more stupid problems to sweep under the rug.
Sure, they talk. Nothing wrong with a little chit-chat to learn about the other's intentions, mysterious as these weird circumstances are. Could be worse, they both know better. But the tension only worsens after Gigamix!Terra learns his in-game counterpart deals with planets and the weaklings differently...
a lot differently.
The silence is deafening. But then, it finally breaks. Something happens, slicing the insufferable quiet in half.
Gigamix!Terra laughs, quite literally at himself.
It's hilarious that this...
broken, weaker version of himself actually exists.
...
(I'm sure you can brainstorm some guesses about what happens next.)

The Lord of Silence is vastly known, from the rainy prairies of the Empire to the sunlit sands of Aotearoa, yet no one seems to truly grasp the meaning of his existence. Whether he is a God or an Entity, his presence has always been felt in the shadows, lurking among outcasts and the uncanny, a watchful father observing silently as his progeny - the Whisperers - survive in this world.
It isn't certain if the Whisperers genuinely speak to the Lord, or if he is merely a figure of devotion; their gifts come from their altars to the Entity, regardless of his physicality. It is also unsure if the Whisperers trade something for their skills, although their nature in general is very mysterious, since the mere mention of a Whisperer instill fear and suspicion. Their relationship towards the Lord of Silence is also conflicting; some will be devoted servants of his, others will deliberately go against his will. However, a terrible strain of bad luck has followed those that have widely broken the tenets of the Lord.
The Lord of Silence is neutral, or so he has always been portrayed as. He has been associated with both war and peace, famine and prosperity, illness and healing, creating an image of an entity that has no scrupulous or boundaries, in which the only goal is balance. Justice seems to be the Lord's main tenet and justice is neither evil nor good.
A Whisperer bears no marks, no symbols; they cannot be detected on sight. They will, however, always have some type of altar to the Lord of Silence, big or small, extravagant or modest. The altar is where they take their power from; the symbols of each ability must be ordered and attuned if a Whisperer wishes to perform their unusual magic. An altar is usually protected and hidden, and disrupting or destroying it affects a Whisperer's gift. They will not cease to have power, but their powers become unbalanced, unnatural.
The Lord of Silence is a protector and patron of outcasts and spies, thieves and the broken, the suicidal and the hopeless. He is sanity in a world lost to hatred and fear, he is the welcoming sight of Death and the Void where chaos disrupts the quiet; his image, though often portrayed as a man with his finger over his lips and eyes covered by a piece of cloth, is also filled with discrepancies. Some cultures will portray him as the shadowy figure of a young woman, who whistles quietly in the dead of the night; sometimes he is portrayed as a mere shadow. Regardless, he is most popular referred to as a man, even if no one has ever truly seen him.
His presence creates an atmosphere of fear and awe, regardless of how real he really is. Whisperers have been interrogated on the matter; some claim they speak to the Lord of Silence through dreams, through thoughts, through mirrors, or whichever vessels seem suitable for a conversation with the Unknown. Some claim the Lord is just an idol, meant to embody metaphorically everything the Whisperers are meant to do. One can't say who is telling the truth, and thus, this has created a lot of unrest in society. For as long as the Entity has been known - dating back to the Greeks and their rituals - there has been doubts and questions about the nature of this being, who has lived in between the noise of the city, the music of the desperate, the screams of the slaughtered and the oppression of the religious.
One knows only that Silence has never truly ruled the world, but its been known to follow bloodshed.

DEFENDING GABI...!
Tumblr media
"Hatred was part of your training"
- Eren Jaeger
I love this quote from Eren as it begins to form and shape my understanding of these characters. That within these walls were children made to learn that nothing beyond their walls were nothing but demons. For Gabi, she had been taught her by her parents, her aunt and her society that beyond those walls were devils that must be destroyed to save the world from their bad blood. She had been conditioned to kill, attack and to get rid of these so called 'devils' and it such as sad reality that it still happens today.
What made me realise was that Gabi isn't a bad person, she just grew up in a bad world. Gabi was taught how to hate and fight from beginning. And I understand that what she did was unforgivable, unjust and unfair, but we later learn that during the restaurant scene with Sasha's parents, her father told an important lesson. That he taught his daughter the means to hunt and kill before letting her go to socialise with others. She killed and died as consequence. He sheltered her from the reality of war and pain so when she finally was able to go out into the world she was learnt to kill to protect what was important to her. In the end it only end up with her dead as a result of how she was taught to survive.
But this isn't me saying her actions weren't right, what she did was that she killed in cold blood. But if we were placed in her shoes, the horror of seeing your friend being crashed by debris and another friend being killed on impact by the rush of a human stampeed, I would be horrified to. I'll be angered, frightened and want to seek revenge. What I saw was two worlds, like two side of a coin, never seeing each other, not knowing who each other was until they finally come face to face and they only saw destruction and war. Deaths of innocent lives. Like I said, I don't accept her behaviour but I am a human being, I understand the pain and the anger and the emotions that she must have felt.
As well as that, the moment between Kaya and Gabi touched my heart. Seeing those two young girls, from two different worlds collide in such a way back in to where she used to live and seeing these two have a very philosophical argument is astonishing. Each one trying to convince each other different things at once. Kaya was trying to convince Gabi that they did nothing wrong, that she just wanted someone to believe her, to help her understand what she and her mother and her kind did wrong. While Gabi was trying to convince Kaya about how, even if it was so long ago, she still believed in a outdated ideology.
Everything Happens for A Reason
I have learnt that everything happens for a reason. The reason in being that actions leads to consequences. How if Eren hadn't attacked their home town, if he hadn't started that attack then Udo and Zofia would have still been alive, Sasha would have still been alive, those innocent people would have still been alive. But if this event hadn't happened as it should, things wouldn't have changed, Gabi wouldn't have left the walls she had been confined to live in. She wouldn't have met Kaya and Sasha's family, she wouldn't have experience that there were good people, innocent people in Paradis too. So, I do believe that everything does happened for a reason, that Sasha's death was the consequence of one's actions, but it also was a reason for change, for letting go, for moving forward because by the end of the day she and Gabi are human, that Gabi is a child that can still be saved.
I watched the season final again and the more I watched it the more I understood Gabi in a new light. Even in the first round of watching it, I didn't love what she did but I will not condemn a child to more hell because of her broken ideologies. I can't forgive her but I will not have the moral instinct of killing a child, even fictional ones, just because she grew up learning to hate the world that wasn't her own. What I am saying is that for me, the world is cruel, it is pain and angry and clouded with negative thoughts. The world becomes toxic with the judgments of others upon those who they never have met before.
So listen, when I say I am defending her, I am defending her for the reasons of being just a flawed human being, a child who is impressionable to those above her and would believe in anything they say. Because killing Gabi won't solve anything, it would only lead to more chaos and death. Killing Gabi won't bring back Sasha. It won't bring them any peace because their moral conscience will be ringing that a child's blood is in your hands. Even Mikasa stopped Kaya from killing her, even Sasha's father didn't want to kill a child born to be blind by the reality of this cruel world. What I am saying is that I can't forgive her for her sins but I will not condemn her for being human who had only known the means of hatred of the unknown instead of being taught to at least to understand one human being from another. That there is still time to save Gabi from the dark future that she will face if she continues down this dark path.
The lesson that Gabi taught me was that when you shelter a child for the harsh reality thinking you are protecting them from the evil nature of the world you are only hurting them in the process because when they eventually go outside the walls you put up they'll only know what you taught them.

FANFICTION WRITERS!!! NEED SOME HELP HERE
Hey so I need some help with a project. Recently I've wanted to write a story about mobile suit gundam. Mainly the UC timeline. Here I'll list the differences down and what I hope to do. Any and all forms of help are greatly welcome.
However it is an alternative with the success of operation British breaking every faction during the war making new factions and causing chaos. The main villains would be a group of old men controlling the chaos as best they can in order to make their own dystopia world where they are revered as gods for wealth and knowledge.
Many characters in the normal UC timeline either arnt born here, died, are missing orhave taken a new style of life. Amuro and Char mainly are MIA. Other characters like Hamon and Bright are alive but have become leaders of their own factions.
So here's are some notes on our heros. 4 main ones to be exact. All with their own problems. Two humans, a boy and a girl. And two AI a man and a woman. See the boy and man both are blind to the good of the world. Such as the miracle of birth, life, sunshine, and love. They can't see it it feel it but understand it's exists. Meanwhile the other two are blind to the evils of the world. Such a war, murder and so on. They also understand it exists but can't feel the negativity with it. All four characters are in essence blind to the side of the world. They can't see the full painting. It also dosnt help the human heros are half blind as one of their eyes is underdeveloped. (Originally I wanted them to be fossilized to symbolize the death of sight but I changed to underdeveloped). Their character designs I havnt chosen yet. Sorry everyone.
A note for the AI, despite looking like fully developed humans they are both in essence children AI. They both have alot to learn about the world around them and develop as people would.
Now for the mobile suits. The list holds all the suits used during the one year war but the RX78 saddly was never finished and given to a new project instead. True soul to make a new gundam. The gundam Penuma. To protect its completion it was split into two mobile suits so even if one was destroyed the other can carry the name. They would be named Honest Gundam and Gundam Lies. What makes this Gundam is its nano machines as well as abilities to copy data at a near hyper speed with near perfection. Say it fights a phsyco frame mobile suit. As it fights and perhaps steals pieces of the mobile suit it'll develop its own phsyco frame. What's more it can repair the easiest as ir can take materials and rebuild its broken parts or weapons.
The state of the earth itself can be called a healing Warhammer 40k battlefield. Many ecosystems are either damaged or extinct. Some deserts are now near total glass from all the heat and beam weaponry used. It can be repaired yes. But will be very difficult.
The moral of this story is that all this violence, hatred, and war isn't part of the human condition or spirt. The age of pain and war can be ended and humanity can gain the paradise it walkways dreamed of. It can have true peace and happiness.
I even wrote the intro for this story.
"The date is January 04 0079 UC. The whole of humanities soul has been broken. Operation British was both a failure and success. With it came the nass destruction of Australia, the death of billions and a forever changes earth. It is estimated half of all humanity will perish from various effects and events after this act.
Both the Earth Federation and Zeon has collapsed in mere hours turning into hundreds of independent factions all looking for their own goals and dreams. The Zabi family has been slaughtered with its head Degwin missing. In this new era of conflict, war and fire can a bright future of tommorow be possible? Or is the destruction is yesterday inevitable?"
If anyone can help me write this story and make it a true experience I'd love help! Any help! Thank you!

I find this interesting in mdzs posts on Tumblr. Once the profile pic or background pic on their blog is either Xue Yang, JGY, or CQL pictures, then the post they wrote must be "The MC of mdzs is not morally that good, the reason is bla bla blah. To make flaws in the MC they went to the extent of victimizing the Perpetrators mainly Wen Chao and QishanWen Cultivators who'd chosen to join the war, a war to oppress other sects and slaughter them if they were to defy.
Don't you think that pattern resembles MDZS world? If you find someone spreading rumors and distorting facts about WWX it must be from the Jin. After the war ended, The Mobs actually accused WWX of killing too much (Wen Cultivators) during the war, in the occasion of talking about WWX freeing the real innocent Wen Remnants from LanlingJin's true war crime. The Irony and Ridiculousness are so thick. But that actually came into being in real life on their fans. How amusing was that?? Like Idols like fans. There really are people like that in real life...even MianMian can't put up with such mobs.
Excellent point, anon.
I always feel that MXTX's stories - specifically, MDZS and TGCF do a great job at presenting in the bounds of fiction, a real society. In our sort of society, those who are kind, are also often foolish. Those who are brave, are treated as rebels. In our world too; minorities are treated with suspicion and hostility. Systems aren't set down in rules; the rules can be changed by those who hold power; those who constitute the majority. Most of the people in this world listen along to the flute of him who is most powerful. Most people are mob-like. They don't help, but they criticize those who do for not doing enough. They don't like putting themselves into difficult positions. Even if they feel sympathy, they never act on it. They treat outliers as scandalous; they just wish to be accepted in any community, and put down all voices of reason, and pleas, to act like a banded group; like a bunch of 'teen mean girls.'
That is the sort of world MDZS is based in. In such a world, there are two idealistic people with solid morals - Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, and this is the story of coming to peace with such a world and finding each other. I strongly feel that if one tries to justify an antagonist's actions; they rob themselves of the experience of reading a book which subtly, yet strongly pokes at how corrupt power structures, social hierarchies are; and how terrible it is to not examine the information you are presented with.
We are well aware that Jin Guangyao is a villain. Yet, saying that he is just evil at the root, two-faced and a vengeful, lying snake isn't enough. We must consider into account the nature of society - the untouchability that he faced; the humiliation, the rejection, the plea of a boy to buy out his mother's freedom. But note, that these difficulties aren't meant to free him of his guilt, but rather to add nuance to his character. Jin Guangyao is a victim of society, and on gaining power, he is one of those who stand atop the social ladder and cause harm to those below; and when he falls to the bottom, it is the same people who once held him as powerful, kind and benevolent that spread truths, rumours and secrets about him. Thus, the people probably had hints of what he does; yet they considered him of good standing until it was no longer beneficial; until they could turn the tables around and throw him down. Then they turn into his enemies.
This is not to absolve Jin Guangyao of his guilt, but to make us uncomfortable with how society is. I recall this line by Wei Wuxian - "How cheap is your hatred, and how cheap was your admiration."
Similarly, Jiang Cheng is an antagonist. He's a safe sect leader; never taking fights he can't win. Thus, he turns a blind eye to all injustice that would harm his position by putting him at odds with other powers and even encourages it. Social hierarchy allows him to whip up innocent people and not pay back his debts. As he's in a more privileged position than many others, being the literal sect heir of a major clan, he can retain the right to be upset, angry and hurt over whatever he chooses, whether or not his feelings were drawn on valid instances.
For some reason, this fandom falls into the same cycle of reading the book as if they're a civilian in the MDZS world, rather than a reader, containing an omnipresent point-of-view and analytical skills to understand whether the information presented is reliable or not. Perhaps, it is due to their in-built classism, where they are born and raised in places where they are allowed to exaggerate their pains beyond necessity. Perhaps, it is because they are readers who grew up on a bunch of material that is targeted at being 'relatable.' Since MDZS is similar to our world, there are plenty of people who hold sympathy but never act on it, care but not enough, cannot show it, or people who grow resentful. On the other hand, moral ideals like Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are rare. Thus, they cannot relate to these two. What they can't relate to, or cannot understand - they make up narratives to bring them down to 'their' level by framing their righteous actions as wrong, morally incorrect or selfish to make the characters 'more complex' and thus, relatable, and thus, digestible.
Another reason for condemning the main leads comes from the more genuine lack of understanding of the setting and the themes. I've been raised with Indian literature and I found Chinese literature sharing similarities. The protagonist isn't someone you should 'relate' to but someone whom you can idolize, and hold in high regard; someone from whom you can learn to become better. Society isn't generally kind, and love isn't what the characters are after; whether it be platonic, familial, romantic or parental.
Thus, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are fine with just being together, despite their feelings being reciprocated or not. Of course, when you're a child, you are prone to jealousy and anger. But when you mature, it isn't like that - they aren't possessive of each other. Their love lies first and foremost in sharing the same ideals, the same path, the same search for truth and knowing each other inside out even when the world frames you as this or that. That is the greatest act of love for them. Just like that, Wei Wuxian didn't give his core up due to brotherly love, but a sense of responsibility. Love isn't something that exists; but something that is borne, something that grows between two characters.
Yet people don't even understand things like this; they make Lan Wangji petty and Wei Wuxian some sort of manwhore flirt. They don't understand that in xianxia and wuxia, the dead are an entity, just like the living. The body, the soul, the resentment - all are different parts of the same being. Not all souls can be liberated, thus the end result is having to kill those souls, but Wei Wuxian's cultivation uses their resentful energy to do his bidding, and liberate them. Instead of mindlessly killing, he kills with aim. Even highly resentful fierce corpses can be neutralized. Yet, people think it's his cultivation that is his dissent. They say he killed Wen Chao wrongly. I only feel that they haven't read much Asian literature. If you let vermins go then they will come and bite you in the foot.
Honestly, there is so much wrong with fanon interpretations. It is literally a different book that they are reading. If these were only fun, fanon comics, it would be fine, but these are their actual interpretations upon reading the novel. How far are interpretations valid until you literally ruin the book? It's like being in a fandom where the author wrote a book about cats being lovely, but instead of that, people debate which cat character was more evil.
But, well, I always just think such people are Sect Leader's Yao's followers. Haha. I have no issue with those who like XY, JGY, or JC - but at least like their canon selves, lmao? Or even if you wish to make them more sentimental, that is okay, but don't drag the actual moral ideals to their level, you know?
Well, this got pretty long! But thank you anon for this wonderful ask. I got to rant a lot.
