Trilby as an engineering major and Chris as a creative writing major

Trilby and Patricia have broken up and all but instead of Trilbs skipping town they just don’t talk to each other for a bit. But once they do talk again they just go back to being friends like they were before they dated. Trilby also still steals, but he isn’t called Trilby at school because of that. He just always wears the hat so it started out as a joke and just stuck. Congrats Malcolm you’re Trilby everywhere now.

Chris and Jane aren’t a toxic mess and are still super chill sweet besties who always have each other’s backs. Jane throws huge ^ss parties all the time, she’s super popular, Chris is just like happy to be here and glad his friend is having fun. He usually doesn’t stay for the whole party, too loud and crowded.

Chris and Trilby meet at one of the parties. They decide to ditch together and become friends super fast. By the end of the night they’ve exchanged dorm numbers and are making plans to hang out again.

Chris is f^cking smitten. Like next time him and Jane hang out he can’t stop talking about the hot funny smart guy he met at the party. Jane is super happy her friend gets to have his cute lil crush and jokes about what music they should play at their wedding.

Claire is also in Chris’ creative writing course and they end up besties. Then Claire meets everyone else and it’s like a cool lil group. Phillip is like that stupid ^sshole frat boy at first but he takes a class in gender studies and talks to Simone a bunch and becomes a better person. Still a prick just not a sexist. Also Trilby is the rebellious kid who uses college to tick off his dad.
