Hey, anyone else think it's super duper suspicious that the Reverend Parents kicked off their abominable baby scheme pretty much simultaneously to Gideon Nav, key to the Tomb, landing on the Ninth? Gideon's more than a year but less than two years older than Harrow. So give it nine months gestation, a few months for prep and planning, and Gideon's arrival lands at exactly the place on the timeline you'd look for an inciting event to the creche massacre

And like, the Revs didn't seem shocked when they heard Harrow had opened the Tomb. They listened solemnly to Gideon spill the beans and then quietly shuffled themselves off the mortal coil, intending to take their pint sized single-serving generation with them. As far as we know they never pressured Harrow to continue the Ninth, either. They checked to make sure she was a powerful necromancer, and that was it. It's almost like they'd been waiting for this.

It's just a hell of a lot of coincidences piling up. Makes me wonder what they knew, who they'd been talking to. How much didn't they tell Harrow?

#I've posted about this before but it's still bugging me #there's so much about their actions that'd be explained if they knew the Ninth would reach the end of its purpose within Harrow's lifetime #and like they probably don't know the whole story because why would they treat the daughter of their god Like That #on the other hand.... it would explain a lot if they knew Gideon's birth was the Ninth's death knell #and then she DIDN'T DIE #it really feels like they had to have known something #but it keeps me awake at night wondering how much #the locked tomb #pelleamena novenarius #priamhark noniusvianus #the creche massacre #gideon nav #harrow nonagesimus

#pokemon #pokemon ruby and sapphire #hoenn #gen 3 #flygon #aquanutart #i made this in the dead of winter a couple of years ago #after wanting for the whole year to enter the tcg illustration contest but i ended up working on something at the last minute as usual #i don't like competition but i enjoy having a reason to draw a pokemon with a lot of other people #i was waking up early before work to keep making progress on it but i thought i wasn't going to make the deadline #and when i had just decided i had done as much as i could and couldn't get it finished #i went out on that cold snowy day and on that day and that day only for some reason my car wouldn't start #we tried starting it with jumper cables but i'm not sure i know how to use them.. anyway i had to call someone and wait for them to come #i had to call in late to work and then i was waiting for two hours. which was just about enough time for me to keep working on this #i was able to submit it seconds before the deadline the next morning #and it's very cool to me that i was able to participate even though i didn't place (i'm actually glad i didn't place)#(because i would rather it go to someone who worked longer on their entry and/or started earlier before the deadline)#(i just wanted to join everyone in drawing a pokemon but i would prefer for it to just be its own thing and not compared to other pokemon)#this is partly why it's cool to me to have the tcg cards from the contest i also entered!#i chose to draw flygon because gen 3 is one of my favorites and i grew up in the desert and always wanted to imagine pokemon running around #that was the last era of my childhood before i moved and had to grow up where everything was new and different #for 12 years overseas i was homesick for this sun #i'm in a snowier place now but i see the sun even in winter so i'm happy!#since drawing this i appreciate and notice flygon a lot more! i always thought trapinch was very cute #i love the scene in twilight wings final episode when flygon is looking around and scanning; it's so cool #and because of this i got very excited to see flygon in the pokearth documentary flying like a dragonfly #i had wanted to imagine it landing a bit like a bug

I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

Raph’s the biggest Hero of the bunch of them let’s be perfectly real here. the tragedy of James and Mary Sunderland is one of the most heartbreaking and (most importantly) human stories I’ve ever had the joy in witnessing

#they are just two amazingly complex characters #especially James but that’s mostly cause he’s the protagonist #and maybe because I’ve experienced and witnessed the burnout that comes with being a caregiver to someone but it’s just so human to me #and then the guilt you feel when that person passes (even if the circumstances were different) it hits hard #I’m also frustrated that James gets boiled down to the guy who killed his wife #the whole game is exploring WHY he did that and how much he regrets it #and how good people can do bad things #there’s no black and white to sh2 it’s all foggy shades of grey #sorry about the tangent in my own tags #i just think James is neat #like a bug under a microscope #james sunderland #mary shepherd sunderland #silent hill 2 #silent hill 2 remake #silent hill

there was a little teaser at the end that implied there'll be a sequel event, though we don't really know anything beyond that! I do think it's likely we'll get the other half of the cast in it, even if it's just wishful thinking on my part. 🤞🤞 NIGHTMARE SUITS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

as far as I know there's been no confirmation on whether it's going to be next year's Halloween event or a separate thing (the snow makes me think it'll be more Christmas-themed, or otherwise more related to the plot of the original movie) so. we're probably going to have to wait quite a while before we find out anything solid. :') they really do love just dropping these things on us and then watching us go absolutely wild with speculation while they watch like
