#there is no peace in our Cyberpunk Red campaign

I said "I know Judo b*tch" cos my friends were meta gaming and saying stuff like "Oh no she's going to die 😰" and "we have to reach her! She's defenceless 😰"...

My point was, my character isn't defenseless. Yeah, I have the lowest Body stat, but I'm not defenseless without my hacks >_>... it's insulting when you guys act like I can't save myself >_>...

But our DM thought this was really funny... so she canonised this as my Netrunner yelling "I know Judo b*tch" at a Militech agent before judo throwing him...

My Netrunner rarely swears (she was raised to behave like a "lady"), so now Rockerboy and Exec are side eyeing her >_>

I ended up saving myself btw. So I don't know why my friends think my character needs protecting 🙄

Like seriously. My friends' characters are all gonks. If I want something done, I got to do it myself 🙄

They should know by now that my Netrunner acts weak and defenceless just to get people to do the heavy lifting for her. I would have installed monowires if I wasn't capable of using them 🙄

^ I kinda want to say that everything is OK now... but my Netrunner got into a serious argument with our Rockerboy again

The evidence of Militech's bribe and footage of NCPD torturing Rockerboy and his bandmate NPC is with my Netrunner and our Media

My Netrunner has a NPC friend that she's close with. They were friends since Arasaka Academy. This friend has a high rank in NCPD and was the one who created the distraction that let my Netrunner escape

He wants her to delete the evidence of the bribe and of what his colleagues did to Rockerboy cos:

This is a PR nightmare cos of Rockerboy's popularity... and he doesn't want to deal with this

The bribe was from Militech. He doesn't want to create tension between NCPD and Arasaka

It's not like NCPD as a whole took the bribe. I was just a few officers. He will deal with them internally for causing me trouble

He admits he takes bribes too, and he admits there's a lot of bad blood between him and Rockerboy... but he backed off every since he found out I'm friends with Rockerboy. So can't I return the favour?

Exposing NCPD is bad for Rockerboy too. A lot of the officers already hate him. If he creates more trouble for them, he's just painting a bigger target on his back

I covered up for Rockerboy everytime he messes with Militech. But Militech isn't dumb, they know it's Rockerboy. Exposing Militech publicly like this is just going to make them angrier

I... I guess I agree with all of my NPC friend's points. That's why I don't want to hand over the evidence to Rockerboy

Our part-time party member also agrees with my irl, and as his Media. Exposing this will do more harm than good

^ Plus Media is aware of my Netrunner's reputation. He views her as a valuable "resource" so he's more inclined to side with her

Now it's my Netrunner, Exec, and Media Vs Rockerboy, and both solos... Wraith wants to stay out of this argument cos he's just Exec's huscle

My friend is mad at me cos she ships our characters together and she feels my Netrunner never reciprocates anything he does for her

And I'm mad at my friend cos how many times do I have to say it's impossible between them. And wtf do you mean she doesn't reciprocate? Who do you think she left Arasaka and her dad for? She left Arasaka cos she chose his life over her duty >:U

I literally chose this friendship over my bio dad and brother >:T

This isn't about her friend. It's about not doing things to provoke Militech any further. There's already a target on his head. He made so many powerful enemies. Can he just stop and listen for once?? I feel like my Netrunner is arguing with a wall

My Exec friend added me to a chat with just him, our DM, and Wraith Nomad to run through what we can/cannot do with our DM before tonight's session...

And omg, Exec is really taking this match too seriously. He's pissed cos Rockerboy dissed him in front of the entire neighbourhood with a megaphone last session 😑

My Netrunner made viruses for her dad/Arasaka before she defected... Exec wants her to apply her skills to make something like a doll chip virus to upload into our client 😑

And he specifically wants me to comb through footage of the other teams' past matches to code in a counter for each team's play style 😑

I literally asked our DM if this is even allowed??

She said she will allow it cos my character has the highest Role lv in the party...

And cos I performed multiple feats in the past (cos of lucky rolls 😑), something like this is doable for a netrunner who's considered a "prodigy"...

I mean... as my Netrunner, I won't turn down eddies... but winning like this feels dirty... plus I feel bad for Solo2. I know how much she wants to win cos she grew up in this neighbourhood watching the tournament...

Plus Rockerboy is my best choom and Solo1 is my unofficial little bro...

Am I really going to help a stranger cheat against them..? If they lose they have to strip and shave off all the hair on their body

Our party finally got through arguably one of the most stressful story arcs our DM has ever forced us through... just to end up arguing the moment we arrive back in Night City ಠ_ಠ

Seriously. Stickball. This is the hill everyone is willing to die arguing on ಠ_ಠ

It's a 4 Vs 4 friendly tournament organised by some Valentinos for the neighbourhood Solo2 grew up in

^ we are having a big argument cos there's a corpo-ish kid who is kind of a poser. He clearly isn't from the streets, but he wants to act gangster. His mom hired Exec to help him win the tournament

Solo2 is pissed at Exec cos she looks up to him as an elder brother, and he knows how much winning this tournament means to her

Solo1 is her bff so he's on her side. And Rockerboy is on her side too cos of "principle"... so he started yelling at Exec

As my Netrunner, I don't really care. In fact, I think this entire sport is uncouth. My clothing is expensive, I rather not get anything dirty

But I didn't like the way Rockerboy said "We're leaving. Now." I don't appreciate being ordered around. Only the Arasaka elite used to order me around. The bar is really high

And Exec offered me a bigger cut if I take his side... so...

Our party is split in half now and our DM is annoyed cos she didn't expect us to split up like this 😂

Rockerboy wants to abandon the job, tell my Netrunner's dad to go F*** himself, and return to Night City

Wraith insists we stay cos that's Exec's orders, and cos he wants to get paid

My Netrunner is Exec's righthand man (despite him not telling me anything), since he's down, she's the "leader now" AND SHE CANNOT HANDLE THIS PRESSURE CAN BOTH OF YOU STOP FIGHTING EACH OTHER IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE MY NETRUNNER IS HAVING A MENTAL BREAKDOWN >:U

You know the argument is serious when both of them take out their backstory sheets... I don't even know what's going on... they are digging up the past 😐

Apparently something big happened in their family (Rockerboy's mom was a nomad) long ago and both of them aren't over it

Ok. But like, neither of you are part of the family now. So can both of you zip it >:U ! I am trying to stop Solo from having another cyber psychosis meltdown >:U

I get it. This job was given by my Netrunner's dad. So I'm partly to blame for this cos my dad is the one blackmailing the party into doing his dirty work for him...

But Exec made this 100% worse by keeping secrets again. I know I'm a hypocrite cos I was a double agent for Arasaka/dad, but come on! All of us keeping secrets from each other got us into this mess in the first place! Let's all just stop lying!

Exec is doing something on the side that my Netrunner's dad isn't aware of... he's in a coma now and the only one who knows what's going on is Wraith (his bodyguard/driver)

Can they not stress my Netrunner out?! I know I just said we shouldn't be lying to each other anymore but....

I'm lying about my Netrunner's Humanity 😐

I know I defected from Arasaka... I know "cut ties" with dad and my big bro... and I know I shouldn't have accepted "free" ware but...

The latest cyberware dad gave me hit my Humanity worse than expected 😐

The stress of how badly Exec is hurt, the pressure of being the "leader" (my Netrunner is "obedient", she isn't suited to lead), managing Solo's cyber psychosis... and now the fight between Rockerboy and Wraith is pushing my Netrunner to her breaking point

My party still doesn't know my Humanity is low, and they think my Netrunner is the most responsible one in our crew... so they are piling on my Netrunner as their emotional support 😐

We took a break for 2+ weeks just to come back to a mess (a mess that we made... but that's not the point) 😭

Exec is still knocked out, and my Netrunner's NPC elder brother just arrived in California... and he's NOT okay 😭. I swear, the pills aren't suppressing his psychosis anymore 😭

Like wtf dad?! He's my brother. He isn't your bio son, but he's my brother, doesn't that mean something to you??

Even if my Netrunner's dad/ex-sponsor doesn't care about him being her brother... he served Arasaka loyally for years! He modified himself to the point of no return to be a better "asset" to Arasaka and dad. Why is he being treated so badly?!

And my big bro isn't stable... cos Exec is down, the Wraiths who aren't directly employed by him double crossed us

We're in such a bad position that I wanted to negotiate with them to keep the peace. But the negotiation my Netrunner's bro lost his temper and crushed the skulls of 2 Wraith NPCs 😰

Our DM described him as having no emotions when killing them. He only snapped back to reality when our party's Rockerboy (there to emotionally support my Netrunner) shouted and punched him

He tried to turn on Rockerboy too, but I held him back with a quick hack 😰. Her big bro then started swallowing a handful of pills and said he needs to "get fresh air" 😰

Ok... firstly, what air?! The air in California is messed up. Secondly, he isn't supposed to eat so many pills?? Our Solo is on dad's pills too. I know the dose is just 1 pill twice a day???

Someone needs to do something 😰. I'm don't know what's going on cos Exec lied to me. But the fact that dad sent his bodyguard here (big bro)... it means this isn't a simple delivery job 😰

Where is dad?! My Netrunner's half bro is his bodyguard. Does he know big bro is losing control???

At the start of our campaign months ago, I remember really liking her big bro NPC cos our DM really characterised him as such a caring big bro to her... it was always us against the whole of Night City...

He would never harm my Netrunner... but last night he pushed her so hard that she took damage when she tried to stop him from snapping Rockerboy's neck 🥲

Maybe it's my fault 🥲... is he mad that my Netrunner chose Rockerboy's life over him, dad, and Arasaka..? He's definitely mad... I turned my back on my bio family and duty for the sake of "street trash" I met...

He isn't himself anymore. I literally don't recognise this NPC... his behavior is off... he prides himself on discipline and rationality, he wouldn't snap and kill people in such a sloppy way 🥲. He's a professional assassin for dad... no way he would kill so messily 🥲

(This is Cyberpunk Red related, not irl. So don't worry about me 😅. I'm just venting cos I can't seem to get any frigging PEACE as my Netrunner ;_; )

I gave Exec crap for taking a job involving transporting shady stuff that we have to collect from Dog Frigging Town to California... but it wasn't his fault...

It's dad again ಠ_ಠ. When Exec defected from Arasaka, dad let him "walk"... but it's an unspoken rule that Exec has to do favours for him occasionally once Exec establishes himself as a fixer...

And I let our DM (RPing as my Netrunner's dad) guilt me into helping again 🥲. Dad said he knows I still feel indebted to Arasaka... it's just Rockerboy who lead me astray...

He said I'll see reason again one day, but if I won't do it for Arasaka now... then he asks that I at least do it for him, my biological father 🥲. Cos I'm his only daughter, and he's my only living parent 🥲

And I regret taking the cyberware upgrade dad prepared for my Netrunner... my Humanity dipped more than expected. I'm at risk of psychosis if I take any emotional damage...

^ The eyes are actually super cool though!!!They are like fangs from Gundam 00. It comes with 4 tiny diamond tipped drones that link to her optics. The drones have cameras on them, so they can be used as extra eyes or as small floating daggers.

But the Humanity penalty is super steep... and I unfortunately got a very bad roll 😅

I'm embarrassed to tell my party so I'm currently lying about my Humanity score...

My Netrunner is in the same boat as Exec tbh... I quit cos I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't take backstabbing my party 😭. And dad/Arasaka was messing with Blackwall... I ran cos I didn't want to keep helping then mess with it...

But it's understood I was allowed to leave alive cos of favouritism (turns out I'm his biological kid) and cos I'm an "asset" (due to good rolls, I pulled many feats in game. My Netrunner is considered a prodigy)... I owe Arasaka/dad my current freedom... I'm expected to do favours occasionally too ;_;

I'm legit sorry to everyone in my party 🥲. I'm sorry for working with our DM and backstabbing everyone and causing character deaths 🥲. I was just following orders 🥲

I'm especially sorry to my friend's Rockerboy character 🥲. Mako considers him her first real friend, but I stood by and let my dad and brother torture him 🥲

I'm fighting for my Netrunner's freedom now... but it seems pointless 🥲. I can't just disappear... I know dad will kill Rockerboy and all his friends/family if I did that 🥲

My choom's safety is always being dangled over my head cos dad is angry I chose Rockerboy over him... plus Solo has psychosis and is dependent on dad's pills now... Solo is like my little brother... I can't let MaxTac hunt him down 🥲

Why did I even take the upgrade???

She already gave up so much of herself for Arasaka... my Netrunner looks organic, but if you pop her back/spine open, her insides are all chrome...

I'm not blaming Arasaka or dad... this campaign started a year ago... and at the start I was fully loyal to Arasaka. I swore loyalty and willing installed cyberware to be better at my job

I was my choice, no one forced me. I just wanted to be useful 🥲
