Hii!! Okay so like basically I've been reading My Brother's (Not So) Secret Boyfriend on webtoon /I haven't finished it yet 😔/ and Ive noted that Maki and Kaito kind of look/act (a bit) like Yuji and Megumi from jjk,, was that an inspiration in any way or am I just imagining things lol/nf /pos

HA no worries, that is something I have been called out on several times 😂😂 In all honestly, the answer is yes and no—I did 100% borrow quite liberally from Yuji's overall visual design for Maki, but truth be told I didn't....actually make it that far into JJK, like I don't think I even reached the halfway point of season 1 🥲 So Maki and Kaito's personalities/ship dynamic being similar to Yuji/Megumi is much more of a coincidence lmao, although from what I've seen of the ship, I do fully get the comparisons, especially considering Maki's design and the fact that I do mentally categorize him as being a similar shonen-protagonist personality type 😂
