Daily reminder to everyone that Saint and Osiris are gay grandpas!

Also saw your tag and let me list the lesbians: - Mara and Sjur (already mentioned but for the sake of the list) - Ana and Camrin (both alive and still in a happy relationship!) - Maya Sundaresh and Chioma Esi - Eriana-3 and Wei Ning - Suraya Hawthorne is wlw - Eramis and Athrys (canon Eliksni lesbians who had an entire family)

There’s possibly more and there are some that are implied or can at least be interpreted that way. Besides Saint and Osiris, we also have another canon gay couple: Devrim and Marc (who also adopted and raised Suraya). And I’d say that characters such as Uldren and Jolyon, and Marcus Ren and Enoch Bast are heavily implied to be couples as well. Basically, Destiny is for gays only.

Beyond Light gave us a heavily implied trans character as well in Micah Abram/Micah-10. Details are still a bit murky about them but basically, as a child, Micah was referred to as a “son” and mentions how they’ll have a beard growning up, but once they become an Exo (Micah-10), they adopt and use female pronouns. 

It’s also worth noting that the Yang Liwei, aka Exodus Green, the ship that carried the people that would eventually become the Awoken, listed 485 people as “other” (as in, not men or women). So trans (and everything that falls under the umbrella) people are beyond doubt not rare among the Awoken. 

How the ffuck did i miss that saint and osiris are canon??? Hell yeah
