Feel like this screenshot shared in my discord is relevant here accidentally lol

Even though it's mostly talking about fanart here, i think the general sentiment regarding SOME Izuocha fans (can we even really call them fans of the ship if they only like it cause they hate the queer ships???) is still pretty poignant here

The dudebros using community notes to harass ppl is so pathetic and embarrassing. Like I'm so fucking sick of ppl acting like harassment in this fandom is equal on all sides.

Are there toxic bkdks? Yes. They're toxic shippers for all ships. But the problem is that when your whole shipping community is all about "owning" other (usually the queer ships) shippers. Yes,there are people who do really like izu/ocha and enjoy their dynamic,but the vast majority of them are just creeps who are obsessed with harassing bkdks.

The izu/ocha community needs to call these people out more because when we do it it just leads to more harassment. And we need to call ppl out and hold them accountable in our community too.
