there is an argument for trans jason todd I think. The bones are there

with the Pit, all bets are off. so maybe he cuts his hair short and uses a binder before he dies and then when he wakes up the Pit…gives him the body he wants. it was hell and the nightmares will never go away, but this… I mean, this is a gift

and he was already dead, right? There is quite literally a death certificate with his deadname on it. that part of his life is already over. so when he comes back he can just slot right into a new life. Bruce, Dick, and Alfred already knew, anyway, and that’s about everyone from his old life accounted for. Tim and cass and Steph and Duke and Damian only know him as Jason, the way he’s wanted to be.

And then, of course, his time Robin takes on a whole new meaning. Bruce asks him if he wants to change the uniform and he tells Batman where he can stick it. He gets to put on the shorts and the pixie boots and be the boy he saw on TV! He’s Robin, and being Robin gives him magic.
