They are ideally suited for things such as Weighted Blankets, Lap Pads and Shoulder Pads for sensory reasons but can also be used in things such as Hot Pads, Cold Pads, Gun Rest Bags, Hacky Sacks, Bean Bags and Stuffed Animals. If the project you are working on needs some weight added, these will work for you. - 20LB black pellets. - They are approximately 1mm thick by 2mm wide (3/64" by 5/64"). - They are washer and dryer safe. - 1 cup weighs approximately 7.5 oz. - Heat tested up to 250 Fahrenheit / 120 Celsius We have been testing these pellets for over 5 months now and have ran our hot/cold pad through over 30 washer/dryer cycles, with no change to the pellets shape or consistency. They still move freely in the hot/cold pad, without any clumping. We have also tested their hot/cold capabilities, and have found their temperature retention is comparable to similar products on the market (Meaning: hot cold pads using pellets and not gel based). These will be shipped via Canada Post (transferred to USPS when shipping to the United States). ** Please Note : Due to the original manufacturing process, these pellet may have a slight scent. This does dissipate over time and through multiple washing cycles. Please consider this prior to purchasing, when they will be used in an application that could affect someone with a scent sensitivity. These pellets are Canadian made and are gathered before being thrown in the garbage or taken to a landfill. They are not considered to be a recycled product. They would be considered a "Reclaimed" or "Repurposed" product.
