My Discord friends introduced me to @blacktabbygames Scarlet Hollow, and now I'm obsessed. I've created some concept art of my MC Valentina Scarlet. Her main trait is mystic, but I'm having trouble deciding which secondary trait, so I've created multiple saves for her; Occult Nerd for Mystic/Book smarts, Gothic Romance Heroine for Mystic/Hot, Disney Princess for Mystic/ Talks to animals, Psychic Detective for Mystic/ Keen eye. I've compiled some info for her so far:

Name: Valentina Dahlia Scarlet

Gender: female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Age: 23

Face claim: Manal Issa

Home city: San Francisco

Noticeable Features: The characteristic Scarlet™️ cheekbones and deep set "haunted" eyes. As well as multiple ear piercings, a nose ring, and tattoos;  protective evil eye tattoos on both wrists, and an in memory tattoo on her right shoulder of Dogwood flowers and golden poppies besides her mothers name and a quote from "My Way" by Frank Sinatra.

Occupation: student trying to get a degree in Psychiatry.

Living situation: attic bedroom and shares a house with 10 other roommates, because rent in San Francisco is expensive AF!

Romances: Avery on Occult Nerd save, Reece on Gothic Romance heroine save, Oscar on Disney Princess save, and Kaneeka on Psychic Detective save.

Personality: Valentina comes across as a well-meaning if eccentric person with a strong sense of curiosity. She's usually a very sweet and understanding person, which is why she tries to be patient with her cousin Tabitha when she first arrives in Scarlet Hollow. After all, Tabitha is grieving, and family relationships aside, she's still a stranger to her cousin. Still, there are people who will test her temper, and she can be pretty stubborn. Her mystical attunement does sometimes put others off and Valentina has been known to unintentionally creep out people (although during her bus ride she was a bit happy about spooking the creepy guy who kept chattering at her).

This made things very difficult for Valentina growing up as other children would avoid her and her creepy imaginary friends, which later on turned out to be not so imaginary. So she missed out on a lot of things as a kid, like sleepovers and being invited to birthday parties, etc. Thankfully, her mother did what she could to help, even going to doctors and therapy sessions with Valentina. Eventually, people just considered Valentina a harmless eccentric when she grew up. So, while she never quite blossomed into a social butterfly, she did learn how to make friends (especially when she became so pretty as an adult).

Miscellaneous info & Headcanons

Vivian was a big fan of old school jazz and Swing music, and she wound up naming her daughter Valintina because her favorite song was "My Funny Valentine," by Frank Sinatra.

Valintina's father was a Lebanese Jazz musician called Gabriel Aboud who met Vivian while he was touring North Carolina with his band. 

Valentina used to take piano lessons growing up, partly because her father was also a musician, and because it was also one of the few lessons Vivian was forced to take, she didn't completely hate.

Much like her cousin, Tabitha Crystantum, also has a flower middle name, and there is a variation of Dahlia flowers known as Valintina.

Considering how much tragedy befalls the Scarlet family, Vivian probably used many protection charms and talismans on Valentina, especially when she started developing sensitivities to the supernatural when Valentina was old enough, she'd continued this habit from her mom by getting protective evil eye hamsa tattoos on both her wrists.

She was prone to sleepwalking as a child, another reason Vivian took her to see a therapist. She's mostly outgrown it, but sometimes Valentina will start sleepwalking again when she's emotionally distressed.

She's is a polyglot that's fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic (and being able to speak with animals in one of her saves).

She went through a witch phase in high school.

Valentina also knows how difficult it is to live in and maintain an older house, as she resided in a Victorian home in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district. Granted, the infamous Scarlet Mansion is much grander than the "Painted Lady" she was staying in before coming to Scarlet Hollow.

Living in San Francisco means Valentina gets to meet some pretty eclectic people. For instance, one of her roommates is a Wiccan, another is a violinist for the San Francisco opera, and another is a professional dominatrix.

When she started college, Valentina became involved in a poly relationship with a male TA for a class outside her major and a non-binary classmate. It became pretty serious for a while, but over time, people changed, and Valentina ended her romantic relationship with them when she realized she wanted different things from her life. She is still on friendly terms with both of them, and her exes are still in a relationship with each other.

In addition to the 10 roommates, Valentina also shared her cramped attic bedroom with the ghost of a hippie that died during the Summer of Love back in 1967. He's a pretty chill ghost, actually. His hauntings mostly involve a sudden strong smell of patchouli and asking Valintina if she's seen his hidden stash.

Valentina did not appreciate Wayne protecting/stalking her and probably attempted to mace him at least once before she realized he really didn't intend to harm her. She's a single woman who grew up in a big city. Of course, she's not going to react well to a large man in a mask following her! Tbh Wayne's lucky she didn't try to hit his groin and run.

When "The Sixth Sense " first came out in theaters, Valentina had a hard time sitting through the film. The scenes were Haley Joel Osmond's character was bullied and ostracized by his classmates because he was the creepy weird kid who saw ghosts, hit too close to home for her.

Introducing Therapist!Sans aka Doc

Doc has trauma he has been working through and has made a lot of progress.

After Finding out about AU's he decides to try and Help other sanses the way he was helped.

In 1974, Luis—young, scrappy, hungry, and newly married to his seventh-grade sweetheart—was recruited to a Ph.D. program in clinical psychiatry at New York University. With ten dollars from his father, he left his wife behind in Puerto Rico, moved in with an aunt in Chelsea, and got a job at a nonprofit, where his salary was five dollars an hour, twice what he had made at a Sears back home. He said, “I remember calling my wife that night and saying, ‘Baby, New York is the shit. My salary just doubled, and all I had to do was take a plane! ” The marriage didn’t last—he met Lin-Manuel’s mother, Luz, through the N.Y.U. program—nor did his career as a therapist. “I quickly realized that I am not cut out to be the kind of psychologist that I was being trained to be,” he recalled. “I would be sitting there thinking, You’re such a loser! Do something! We talked about this problem the last two months! Please.”

“Luis Miranda as your psychologist is nightmare fuel,” Lin-Manuel said.

Luis and Luz moved to Washington Heights in 1980, the year Lin-Manuel was born. “We got involved in electing Hispanic school-board members in District 6,” Luis said. “I had picketed Ed Koch every time he came to our community, because we were fighting for more schools.” Luis, whose colorful belligerence matched Koch’s, talked his way into a job as the mayor’s director of Hispanic affairs. “I very weirdly remember the day he was hired,” Lin-Manuel, who was seven at the time, recalled. “I was watching the episode of ‘Good Times’ when John Amos’s character died, and I was hysterically crying. And my dad came home a half hour later with this letter on mayoral stationery and said, ‘Your dad got a new job!’ ” Growing up, Lin-Manuel ran around Gracie Mansion at holiday parties and picked up lyrical skills from Inner Circle shows, which featured song parodies making fun of Koch. “I never got to go, but my dad would bring home programs,” he said. “Because I grew up worshipping Weird Al, I just thought it was so cool that they were ripping the mayor to shit to Michael Jackson tunes.” In 1998, Luis formed a consulting firm, through which he helped Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton win their Senate seats. (“The dude was relentless,” he said of Schumer.) More recently, he helped Letitia James become the attorney general of New York. Lin-Manuel, meanwhile, channelled the retail side of politics into “Hamilton.” “I remember Andrew Cuomo seeing the show and saying to me, ‘You learned politics at the kitchen table,’ ” he said.

Now that “Hamilton” is big business, Luis applies his behind-the-scenes boosterism to his son. A month before Hurricane Maria, in 2017, he opened a commercial courtyard in Vega Alta called La Placita de Güisin, with an arepa stand, a mosaic of Lin-Manuel as Hamilton alongside Luis’s father, and a gallery called Museo Miranda, displaying “Hamilton” fan art, family photos, and one of Lin-Manuel’s Tonys. Lin-Manuel wasn’t always the pride of his father’s home town. “When I went to visit as a kid,” he recalled, “I was introduced as ‘Ese es el de Luisito que se fue’: ‘That’s the kid of Luis who left.’ ”

thank you for sending this in!!!!! so first, stray kids. the first person that came to head was chan, he’s smart and he knows a lot of things, i just remember him telling us fun facts on vlive so i feel like you guys could spend nights just talking about you favorite subjects up into the late hours of the night. chan is also really thoughtful i feel like he’s playful but it’s also very light and he makes sure you know he’s joking whenever he does tease you, so i feel like that would match you very well. he gives amazing advice and he’s such a comforting person i feel like, too so that would be perfect for you :) when you had a long day you could just run up to him and he would just give you a hug and let you talk about it if you wanted and i feel like he would be so good at calling you down and making you feel safe, cuz like, his aura is so calming and comforting if that makes sense 😭😭😭 also, he has huge arms LIKE HAVE U SEEN HIM? he def gives good hugs 🤞🤞. both you and chan are really caring and look out for people a lot, and are extremely loyal so i feel like those two things go well for each other, since you both are always looking after others u need someone look are you, yk? i feel like if you two are just hanging out at the studio he would do more subtle things to make sure your okay, like ordering you coffee even if you didn’t ask, turning around and talking for you a bit so he could see how your doing, sorts of things like that. i feel like studio dates would probably happen a lot, and you guys would probably sit on the couch and work on songs together, he probably has a separate file that is just songs that you both have made together :( THATS SO CUTE and chan is also very passionate about music, writing, reading (i know he does read at least some, because some of his songs are related to books🤞) so you guys have that in common, you both could spend hours talking about that anywhere, the car, under the stars, in bed at 5am, and you wouldn’t even realize what time it was until your voices start to hurt.

now for ateez i’m kinda torn, i ship your hongjoong + san..... i’ll just write for both of them 🙄✋. so hongjoong + san, their zodiac signs go well with yours, SO ITS MEANT TO BE. you both could compare your signs together or make a chart together and just talk about the stars and the universe under the sky, wait thts actually so cute...ANYWAYS. okay so both of them are introverts, i thiught san wasnt, but anyways i feel like dating an introvert as an introvert myself it would just, work. because we would understand each other and we could have dates that are more on the quiet side and not as crowded together without draining ourselves. san is such a hyper person, you both could just talk and talk and joke around in your bedroom and you would have the time OF YOUR LIFE, like that man is so goofy and funny i feel like. hongjoong is more on the calm side, and he always knows what to say, i feel like with him your relationship will be more romantic, and san would be romantic as well but more on the goofy side? both hongjoong and san are extremely comforting, to me at least, and it’s another aura thing 😭😭but i feel like both of them would just hug you if that’s what you wanted or just sit with you and calming stroke your hair or hold your while you calm down and they would do breathing excersies if you wanted with you, and they would sit there for how ever long you needed and help you calm down, and if you wanted to talk about it they would give all their attention and give you the best advice they could think of in that moment....cries get me a hongjoong and san. san is also very very loyal, and i feel like this man would kinda be protective, like even in the little things, hongjoong too. like if you were about to run into something he would gently pull you away, if someone won’t stop texting you he would send them a message himself to tell them to stop, and if found someone hurt you, this man will not calm down until they apogized, you have to hold this man back from talking to someone that upset you himself 🙄✋. he would never do anything that you didn’t wanted, but he really just wants to know who hurt his baby, you your his baby, btw. okay for twice...IM GETTING JEONGYEON VIBES OKAY IDK????? when i was reading your description (which by the way you seem like such a cool person omg woah you seem so cool and beautiful), i just thought of jeongyeon. shes very funny i feel like so she could make you laugh for hours on end, and she’s caring too. i feel like she would also care for you in subtle ways like bringing you a blanket if it’s cold or ordering extra of her food for you even when you said you weren’t hungry, holding your hand in big crowds, she would always ask if you were okay or comfortable, but through out the day i feel like she would do those actions and she would just be :(((( SO CUTE. dies i love her, i love her so much. also jeongyeon seems like she would give such good hugs oh my gosh, whenever she would hug you you could just feel safe and comforted and loved, and she always knows whenever to hug you, like you had a stressful day? she’s already running and hugging you and starting your favorite movie and letting you rant. she would be such a good listener too, like no matter how much you rant to her she would remeber the little things that you told her and would make note of it and just, do things to suit you better, yk? she always wants the best for you, and is always looking out for you. she’s also very very loyal, and she’s so truthful too. she tells you anything that happens and your guys relationship is just so healthy :(((. and whenever you talk passionately about your interest, she would sit there and listen and talk about it with you, and she just thinks your so smart (which u are!) and shes just in awe with all the knowledge that you have, like that’s her favorite thing about you. she loves how passionate you are and that you love so many things, she could just sit there for hours listening to you talk :((

Alone With The Dark- Bim Trimmer

Oof. I'm going to be honest with you guys, this ones rough. Its not the best thing I've ever made, but it was nice to write. I treated it a little bit like a vent and then twisted it into a sad story. Sorry about that lol. But I do think you guys will enjoy it! read the trigger warnings though!!

And again- this series is not going to be in any specific chronological order nor should you assume that future or past parts are related to each other. This is just me having some fun with the idea of Dark being the good guy

Bim collapsed onto his bed with a shaky gasp, his nearly transparent body wavering for a moment when it touched the solid surface. His room was barely lit but it didn't make a difference to him- his vision was blurry anyway. He whimpered slightly as he curled in on himself, shivering violently. He felt a deep and chilling cold in his bones, but he didn't bother getting under the covers. He knew it wouldn't help, the cold he was feeling didn't come from the weather or from an open window. It was the chill of death and Bim knew that it was unavoidable.

He knew what was happening and what was going to happen. He had been aware of what was going to come from the first moment he had been able to see through his fingertips. A week ago, he had been eating a late lunch when he went to grab his glass of water and realized that the very tips of his fingers were slightly transparent. Horror had caused him to drop the glass and stand up, stomach rolling in fear. He had run out of the room and thrown himself over the toilet, retching violently. A terrifying thought had rushed to his brain as he trembled in the bathroom. He, Bim Trimmer, was fading away after just a month of existence.

He had known it was a possibility from the beginning, but that didn't make it any easier. Their creator, Markiplier, had a habit of introducing a new ego and then never making another video about them again. The fans would be excited by the premiere at first and they would make fan art and stories about the new ego...but eventually the hype died down and the figment would fall into the background.

This wasn't an issue for most figments and they would stay popular enough to survive until their next appearance, but it seemed that Bim wasn't one of the lucky ones. He hadn't been quite as popular as most when he had first appeared and the excitement of his character had faded quickly amongst the fan base. He had also been introduced just before Google, who had generated much more excitement with the fans. So of course, it was to be expected that Bim would fade quicker than most. He just wasn't expecting it so soon…

The others hadn't been surprised either. A lot of egos didn't make it through their first year, so everyone tried to not get too attached to new arrivals. And while seeing semi-transparent egos fade around them was a sad sight, those that did make it got used to it quickly. It was expected that no one really mention or talk about fading, as if not addressing it would help keep the unlucky alive. Bim as starting to think that it was just everyone's way of dealing with the guilt. Because he knew that the others were secretly relieved that it was him fading and not them.

But there was no point in being upset or angry at anyone now. He’d be gone soon anyway.

Bim wasn't sure how much time had passed when he heard a soft knock at his door. It had to have been hours since he had curled up on his bed in a pathetic heap. A quick glance out the window told Bim that it was nighttime now, but how late it was he wasn't sure. But whatever time it was, there was no reason for anyone to be at his door. Everyone knew what was happening to him right now, and they had all individually decided to ignore him. It was just easier that way, to pretend like he didn't exist. He wouldn't tomorrow anyway.

Bim waited for the person or other ego to go away. He didn't feel like talking and he couldn't stand the thought of seeing someone's pity-filled face right now. Some of the egos that did care that he was fading always wore the same piteous face around him. Dr. Iplier and Silver were the most guilty of it. They had talked down to Bim during the few weeks of his fading as if he was a kicked puppy or sad child. But he wasn't a child. He was a grown and dying adult that didn't want their pity.

So Bim ignored the knock. In fact, he barely shifted from his balled position, sans the constant tremors that were running through his wavering body. He stayed still and listened for the expected sound of retreating footsteps to disappear down the hallway. However, the ego at the door ignored his obvious wishes to be left alone. Bim scowled when he heard the door being pushed open without his permission. He lifted his head shakily, fully prepared to tell this person off, trembly voice and all. However, he paused when he saw who had entered his dim room.

He sat quietly and somewhat dumb-founded when Dark slid into his room and shut the door behind him gently. This was the last person he had expected to make an appearance. But there he was, standing by the closed door with a more casual dressing than Bim had ever seen him in before. He wasn't wearing his normal suit jacket and had even ditched his tie, settling instead to unbutton the collar of his dress shirt. Bim glanced down near Dark’s hands and noted that the entity had his cane with him, which was rare for the other egos to see.

Bim made note of these strange occurrences quickly and then glanced back up at Dark’s face, trying to seek out what the demon’s intentions were. He searched the entity’s eyes for the normal pitying look the others wore, but he didn't find it. Nor did he find any malice or look of aggression. So Bim settled back down again, deciding that he was not in any danger from this interaction. Dark could do as he wished. Bim was tired. But Dark didn't leave him be. Instead, the other ego cleared his throat and came a little closer to the bed, hoping to gain back Bim’s attention. The demon waited until Bim looked back up at him before he spoke, standing in a patient manner until the show host shifted slightly and glanced at him. He recognized Bim’s slow movements and the pained look on his face and frowned in response, but did not comment on it. Instead he made a small gesture to the bed with his free hand. “May I?” He asked softly, head tilted at a slight angle as he talked.

Bim raised a confused eyebrow, though he wasn't sure if Dark could see it due to his transparent nature. He wasn't completely sure what was being asked of him at the moment, but he supposed nothing terrible would come if he accepted the vague request. “Suuuure?” He answered the question with his own questioning tone, though his voice came out scratchy and rough sounding. It caused the show host to cringe slightly, but he tried to ignore it. He shifted slightly to the side, allowing room for the entity to sit. To his surprise, Dark instead slowly shifted on to the bed and laid down, propped up somewhat by the backboard. Bim slowly scotted up as well, mimicking Dark’s pose and staring straight ahead.

He sighed softly to himself as he awaited the normal cliche questions. He hadn't gotten to know Dark much in the month he had been here, but with the time he had spent with the demon he sure hadn’t pegged him as the therapist type. Bim didn't care much though. Perhaps it would feel nice to talk about how he felt about all of this anyway… He hadn't been able to talk it out with anyone else due to the taboo of the subject and Bim decided that maybe venting would be nice.

But the questions never came and the two sat in silence for longer than Bim could say. Eventually he glanced at the quiet entity apprehensively and studied the mans face. He looked to be deep in thought but peaceful, an odd crease in his eyebrows and a soft frown on his face. Bim hated to break the silence and peace, but the urge to talk to someone had gotten stronger. He wasn't used to the feeling of loneliness, but now that there was another person near him he felt the pain of it. It was cold and hard in his heart and his stomach and almost worse than the feeling of death that was slowly engulfing him.

So he cleared his throat roughly to try and gain the other’s attention, the noise worse than before in its hoarseness. He grimaced at the ragged sound, but continued anyway. “Aren't you going to ask me if I'm okay?” The question was voiced with more malice than Bim had intended, and he flushed with slight embarrassment. He kept his gaze forward, refusing to look at the other ego in the room even when he felt the demon’s eyes on him.

Dark pondered the question for a moment but then shook his head, well aware that Bim couldn't see it. “No. I already know the answer.” His tone was not sympathetic, nor filled with pity, but it held an element of gentleness that came only from a personal kind of understanding. Dark knew that Bim was not okay. He knew exactly what Bim was going through right now and that he was probably everything except okay.

The demon was content to let the conversation end there, but then he reconsidered. He spoke up again, this time asking a question of his own. “Would you like me to ask you if you are okay?” He glanced at the show host, a questioning eyebrow raised.

His tone didn't hold judgement though, and Bim decided that it was a legitimate question. So he nodded shakily, not answering verbally. He didn't want to hear his own broken voice in comparison to Dark’s smooth tone. He still refused to look at the demon, instead staring a hole through the wall straight ahead. If he still had a solid body than he would have been bright red in embarrassment. He felt silly asking for this, but it helped beat down the terrible lonesome feeling in his chest. And Dark didn't seem to be judging him. He had offered to ask, and he had come here on his own volition, hadn't he? The logical thoughts calmed Bim a little bit, and he attempted to shake off the lingering apprehension he felt.

Dark nodded after a brief moment and looked back at Bim, this time smiling slightly as the other met his eyes. “Alright. Are you okay?” He spoke naturally and somewhat lightly, treating this situation as if he was simply talking to a friend. It was a bit strange to speak so casually, especially considering the situation, but Dark assumed Bim didn't want to be talked down too.

Bim took a moment to respond, truly thinking about the question. He turned away from Dark again as his eyebrows curled in thought. He realized then that he had been trying to push down his feelings about dying and wasn't even sure how he felt. Perhaps the other egos might not be the only ones guilty of ignoring the topic of fading...

After a moment he let out a ragged sound, somewhere between a sob and a sigh, and stuttered through an unsure answer. “I don't really...know. I feel like I should feel something, but I just don't. I'm not angry or sad or even really scared.” It didn't feel like he was dying. The pain was there, but he felt...disconnected from it. Like he was watching a stranger die. It was then he looked back at Dark, his eyes expressing the turmoil he felt. He spoke again, voice much quieter and somewhat childlike. “Should I be scared?”

Dark was silent for a moment this time. He didn't know how to answer this kind of question. Emotions aren't exactly his strong suit, but he felt a pang of sympathy for Bim and felt as if he needed to find an answer someway or another. “No, I don't think so. It won't change anything. But I do think you have a right to be.” He thought for a moment before continuing, debating whether or not to disclose some private information about himself for the sake of comforting another. He decided quickly and continued, though he spoke in a more guarded manner this time. “I wasn't.”

Bim blinked in surprise at that, his eyes widening a bit. “You've faded before? How are you here?” He felt somewhat bad for asking about what must be sensitive information, but he couldn't help himself.

Luckily for him though, Dark seemed to be willing to talk about it. “Yes, i've faded before. Three times actually. Sometimes those that fade can come back, but only if the fans take interest again. It's very rare.” The demon put emphasis on the last part, not wanting to give the other false hope about his situation. The chances of him coming back were 10,000 to 1.

Bim just nodded, thinking over the information quietly to himself. He hadn't heard the others mention this, so he assumed that they didn't know. He frowned at this idea and glanced at the entity, an odd look on his face as he questioned him softly. “How come the others don’t know about this?”

He was afraid he had pushed too far when Dark made a soft noise in his throat. It was some kind of a grunt or a growl, and though it didn't sound too threatening Bim couldn't be sure. But Dark did not lash out or get up to leave, just layed on the bed and shook his head slowly. “I was alone everytime it happened.” He didn't elaborate any further, and Bim wanted to ask whether this was by his own choice, or if the others had treated Dark similar to himself. He didn't push it though, too scared that Dark would get angry and leave him alone.

He did have to ask one last question though, the one question he had had since Dark had walked in the room. “Why are you here? With me?” He made eye contact with the other ego, trying to understand what would motivate the demon to be here for him when none of the others would.

Dark huffed a bitter sounding laugh, holding Bim gaze with a pained one of his own. “No one should have to die alone. Not you. Not anybody.”

The two egos had lapsed into silence after that, content to simply lay together in a sort of vulnerable quiet. Eventually, Dark saw Bim’s shaking form start to flicker. Every time his form would blink back it would be weaker and the show host would look more transparent.

But eventually he didn't flicker back at all.

And Dark understood that he was alone once more.
