What we need to appreciate more of is sometimes right in front of us. It’s so easy to take for granted the people in our lives who are a part of our day to day routine and slowly stop appreciating what they do for us. I think it’s easy to do this because the routine can feel all consuming and we are going through the motions. Sometimes I can get so focused on the things i am working on that my most important piece, which is my family, gets lost in the shuffle and I forget to tell them and show how much they mean to me everyday.
