Acherad - The Perpetual Katabasis

ACHERAD is a new arrival on the revered Finnish Black Metal scene. With the first line-up starting to take shape in 2019, they have crafted their style steadily throughout the years, resulting in the debut album ”The Perpetual Katabasis” (Mara Productions 2024). ACHERAD draws inspiration from a wide range of black metal and has created a diverse sound with hints of death metal here and there. ”The Perpetual Katabasis” is fierce and unrelenting, but often also melodic, with a vigorous sense of underlying melancholy.
