my “theory”/point of view about Blitzø and his feelings

Recently, I made a post with some drawn panels where I kinda give my opinion about what the fuck is going on inside blitzø’s head. Yet, I still felt like posting the entire thing and explain it with more details. Not sure if this is qualified as a theory (since I feel like it’s too obvious/just a headcanon) but it’s still a speculation. No need to read this if you don't care, I just want to post it somewhere :]

FIRST THINGS FIRST! I know Stolitz is made to be canon. And I know, at one point, it's expected that Blitzø will confess his feelings and all of that. Everyone knows that soon he will realize he may not dislike Stolas at all and find out he, actually, is in love.

this will be a post trying to prove that this is not entirely true. Blitzø already knows that he is in love with Stolas and that he dug himself a grave from the start of their relationship. I'll be trying to prove that, in every episode, he is trying to supress these feelings to himself and the others around him, and even perhaps fell in love in the very beginning, way before Stolas fell for him.

About his personality, we know Blitzø always try to act kinda tough when it comes to himself, but with the ones he loves, he never hesited to show how much he cares and appreciates them, even going out of his way to protect them at all costs. And he does that since he was little. As shown in S2E1 - The Circus, he tries to act unbothered and confident with the lack of entushiasm from the audience, but follows every single one of his father's orders, even when he is not okay at all with the idea, to rob the Goetia castle, just so he can help his mom out.

Still in The Circus, we can pretty much assume his relationship with his father isn't very good from what we've been shown. On the flashback we get in S2E6 - OOPS, we can see Cash giving Fizzarolli a gift card with the phrase "Wish You Were My Son". Blitzø also lived being reminded, everytime he needed to perfom, of the fact he was far to be the circus favorite, never getting the crowd's love and applauses. Even so his dad did not care at all if he was going to be there to perform or not when Paimon asked to get him to spend time with Stolas on his birthday. All of this can give us the idea that he grew up to be insecure about himself, his self-worth and feeling love starved. that's when Fizzarolli enter the scene.

Fizzarolli was his first love. They were best friends since they were little kids and always got along very well. Even though, it's safe to assume Blitzø was, somewhat, jealous from all the love and attention Fizz got from the audience. making him carry a hidden envy. However, he never failed to be supportive of Fizz. praising him, trying to boost his confidence, giving him support, etc. Being there for the ones he loves, despite of how he feels is just how he is. But, still, this envy was growing inside of him since he was a child. Reinforcing the feeling of being unworthy and inferior compared to others. It wasn't just about wanting to be loved by the spectators, but it turned into a feeling of "everyone loves him and everyone hates me. I'm inferior"

and that is something pretty evident on his character. He always thought that he was inferior to Fizz and that he probably didn't deserve him. that his best friend needed someone better. I guess they've already made out a few times but it never went beyond that (since in S2E6 - OOPS, Blitzø mentions something about having tied up Fizzarolli several times before), yet, it was still stuck with him. That's what held him back and made him change his mind about giving the love letter to Fizz's on his birthday.

After that, we all know what happened. The incident took place and he lost all the most important people in his life. His mother died, his sister now hates him and Fizz got severely injured, besides "not wanting to talk to him again". With all the past trauma worsen, now he got a new one: abandonment issues.

Also, there was a time he dated Verosika, but she claims that she was the only one putting effort in the relationship, and now she despises him as well. Blitzø was probably still very affected by everything and was afraid of being envolved with someone and being abandoned again. Verosika was also a pop star, maybe making Blitzø feel like the inferior one again (but I imagine Verosika wasn't such a perfect girlfriend either).

With the passing of time, Blitzø started looking for help, got (slightly) better and created his own business. He adopted Loona, met Millie and then Moxxie. We can see he considers them as his found family. He is grateful for them (even if he doesn't verbalize it) and never fails to show how he is affectionate, even being a little invasive and annoying. It only shows more and more that he's a very sensitive and loving person. Always trying his best to protect, prioritize and take care of his new "family". He can go and insult Moxxie as much as he wants, scream at them, invade their personal lives, but, on the end of the day, he can't help but show how he feels towards people who are dear to him. So much so, it's even hard sometimes to hide it.

With all that in mind, now we can finally talk about how he feels about Stolas and why I think what I think.

Starting with the day he went to take the Grimoire from Stolas. His plan was to use spells to create portals to the living realm so he could get on his business with humans instead of demons. He was going to trick the prince and then get away with the book. Until Stolas let out how much he crave for that kind of passion and how much it means to him that the one that is making this happen is his only ever friend.

As i said before, Blitzø is a sensitive guy, So when the royal boy reveals all of that emotional stuff, Blitzø ends up feeling a bit of empathy and give in, telling himself that this is going to be quick.

In the end, he liked it way more than he expected and spent the whole night with the prince, only leaving by the morning. And in that night, he felt something he never felt before. Maybe it was a deep connection or maybe they were a really good casual match, it does not really matter. What matters is that he felt something really strong.

He secretly enjoyed it everytime and tried to convince himself it was just business and wasn't attracted to Stolas whatsoever. He feels more like himself and "free" when by his presence, as later implied in Truth Seekers, yet he does not want to get this feeling ahold of him. But he is still love-starved and so very emotional, of course this is going to dominate him whole as he spends more and more time with Stolas. And it eventually hits him hard.

Now, in S1E6 - Truth Seekers, we get a glimpse of Blitzø 's mind. Seeing how messed up his head is. He sees himself as a dirty clown, still tied up with memories about his past at the circus. He's tormented by everyone who is/have been related to him in some way, and his surroundings keeps getting messier and crazier as this goes on. It also address his trauma of being abandoned and left behind, as well as we get to know he does not really knows what he's doing half of the time. It all takes another turn when Stolas appears. Suddenly, things are not messed up and haunting him anymore. His appearence goes from the circus clown to his currently form, the form after he got his shit together once again and is trying to make a new turn in his life. He is wearing his work clothes and is not dirty.

Stolas is sitting in a throne at the top of a golden staircase, looking at him like he's just a plaything, representing how Blitzø feels inferior compared to Stolas (just like he felt with Fizzarolli). Then, he gets handcuffed of his wrists and neck, which Stolas is pulling by the chains. In the end, Blitzø make a expression like he is trying to endure something. Maybe the feeling that he likes Stolas, but can't do anything about that, since they are just business fuckbuddies and have to accept thing the way they are? Besides him being a inferior imp and a prince would never take him romantically? i dunno :P

In my opinion, this shows how Blitzø sees the world before and after Stolas, how he feels like a new person and in his bestform when he's with him. nothing feels messed up anmore and he is, in a way, safe from what's tormenting him. However, this also shows how Blitzø believes this is all one-sided and he is being stupid for falling in Stolas game, that he clearly is just a toy and this feeling shouldn't get ahead of him. He is just an imp and is the only one who can be easily hurt. He should've known better than this. Stolas is a Goetia. Above overlords, he is unattainable.

Still in the same episode, before they are saved by Stolas, Blitzø get in front of his "family" to protect them. As stated before, he gives everything to protect who he loves and I imagine how out of his mind he would be if he couldn't be there to save them. This will come in handy later.

When he comes to rescue him and his employees, he is surprised and admired about all of that. Thinking how amazing the prince is, reinforcing the image of a untouchable and powerful he has of the prince.

On S1E7 - Ozzie's, at the ending of the episode, while he is deeply hurt, Blitzø starts pointing fingers and makes it clear that their relationship is just about sex, and then, he says:

What gets me is that he doesn't say "it's about ME fucking YOU", he says "it's about YOU WANTING ME to fuck YOU", throwing all the situationship's wheight on Stolas side. Again, Blitzø thoughts Stolas only sees him as a sex toy and the emotional part is only Blitzø-sided. He is in love with Stolas already and reminding himself (and Stolas) what their relationship really is only hurts him more. He feels used and feels like at any time will be thrown away, that's why he tries his best to deny what he feels.

Then we have the picture on his phone. I don't think this is the latest pic on his gallery, I just think he had opened it before to find a random picture and came across this one. It might've got him right in the guts and he forgot to close the app.

We are now on S2E4 - Western Energy, where Stolas get kidnaped and Blitzø can't be there to save him, since he needs to take care of his daughter first. When he realizes Stolas, someone already dear to him, even if it's is a secret, really is in danger and there's nothing he can do about, he loses it. His behavior/expression is very similar to the ones he had in Truth Seekers.

In the end of the episode, he realizes Stolas maybe is not that unattainable as he thought so before.

Finally, in S2E6 - OOPS, when he and Fizzarolli are stuck together, they start arguing until the subject lands on Stolas. Blitzø seems, again, to be visually upset reminding him and others that he and Stolas has nothing beyong business and casual encounters and that royal demons are far above dating imps like him or Fizz.

He claims Stolas is only thrilled by the sex with a peasant, he trully believes all of the love and attention he is gave is merely manipulation. Even if he would like to believe otherwise, he can't risk being hurt and left behind because of a dumb choice. He would also be putting his job at risk with that. He tries to deny it to everyone, even to himself. Treating Stolas coldly or giving him the "I don't care" treatment would be a defense mechanism as well. harsh and kinda stupid, but that's just Blitzø.

He just doesn't wants to feel hurt and left in the cold again, so he just accepts his relationship with Stolas the way it is, but he also knows he was stupid for falling for him, all because the prince's sweet behavior is all just a fabricated "lie". If he decides speaks up, he fears he will be abandoned again. And even so, laughed at for falling in love when it's just "a silly roleplay". He wants to just throw this feeling away, but he can't help but feels what he feels.

This is it! I may or may not have made any sense. Sorry for any grammar mistakes or if it looked like my brain melted in the middle of the paragraph. perhaps I'll just save this in drafts just so I can have it written down without having to show it to anyone. If you read it 'till this point, please feel free to tell me what you think or whatever :}

Complete word vomit but like what if viktor decides that whatever the 'arcane' is too dangerous or comes at too high a cost and starts The Glorious Evolution from there?

Maybe he feels responsible for whatever the weird magic orb thingys are and decides that all of this mess (not just with the hex core but also with zaun and piltover) was due to human error so now he thinks he has to help people by getting rid of their 'flaws' like they're ability to make the kinds of mistakes he made in s1.

We know he already doesn't want the hex core to be around anymore so why would he suddenly become infatuated with it?? Like sure maybe it has an influence over him, but I seriously doubt it would last all season

Plus viktors whole Thing is helping people why would he stick with the hex core and all it's bs if it means either vaporising people or shimmer? Viktor is smart that's like the first thing we know about him I feel like he'd find a way out of the hex core's thrall

Idk I just don't really want to watch hex core bs for like a quarter of next season, I'll still probably like it tho

Like his character could be the one stealing all the stuff, because in fuga impossivel he was canonically a EXTREMELLY good thief, like, he would stole things and NOBODY would see, and in lore would be so cool because he was in prision with qcell, qfelps (even If he was a guard), qpac and qmike (and I think that maybe he and qcell had a thing on the past apparently)

Does anyone else think that Lloyd going off to fight garmadon in SOG (ep True Potential) is kinda portrayed as a $ulcld3 attempt…

I absolutely love the pacing of this episode, how theres this kinda build up of the ninja realising what’s happening as more and more problems bubble up. There is tension, and there is contrast in this tension. The ninja are all kinda layed back, sureley being aware of the problem, but accepting thats its just a challenge they will need to conquer. Lloyd is so much more wound up when compared to them. This is seen very blatanly in the first few mins of the episode- although his bad mood is shown as a consequence of his “heartbreak” with harumi. I think it is a bit bigger then that. Garmadon is, after all, lloyds dad. He still greives for him. A small part of him still wanted him back- stopping harumi was obviously the right thing to do, but he feels as if there was something that could have been done differently. When lloyd discusses going to the jail to fight garmadon, the rest of the team appose to the idea, and he gives in.

When he betrays the ninja by locking them in a room and going to defeat garmadon (in what seems a cheap form of self-sacrifice) the ninja are obviously trying to stop him. They all know, including lloyd, that he is not going to come out of there healthy, or maybe not even alive. Yet he still goes. Was he blinded by his emotions? This is so out of character for Lloyd, and it only adds to the intensity of the scene. The usually calm, sensible character goes out of their way to do an illogical thing.

When the ninja try to convince him not to go it sounds so….

“Lloyd! What are you doing??”

“im sorry nya..”

“NO! You cant!!”

“Come on lloyd…”

“HEY!! we can talk it over! We’ll figure it out!!”

“Im sorry guys, its something i have to do.”

THE CONCEPT IS SO EDGY BUT IT WOULD MAKES THE EP SM BETTER THAN IT ALREADY ISSSS

The car drive/chase is so well done. The chaotic nature, how Lloyd isnt his carefull, usual self. SCARYY. TO THE POINT OF EVEN BEING DESTRUCTIVE?? SMASHING THE CAR SCREEN?? Also. The dialogue once again.

“Dont do this!!”

“Im not in the mood to talk. This ends. Now.”

“No lloyd, this doesnt end now, its a two way frequency! Come on buddy..”

Lloyds mood shift is so appalling. From how calm he was when his plan was in action, to when it was being sabotaged by the team. IDKK SOUNDS SUSSS.

When he fights his dad, his motive is a bit more clear but still not entirely shown- he thinks he could get his father back. He wants to so bad. He feels as if he could get a piece of himself back, a piece of his old life. “I saved you once, I’ll save you again” He is aware that he can not do it. Garmadon is only oni, only the evil part of who he was. Its as if lloyd would be content to die with his blood on his fathers hands, if it meant he could show that he truly meant to save him. Maybe he was so full of anger and love and hate he didnt know what to do with it but go back to its very origin.

When his fight is at its climax and is broadcast, the music hits is highest note. Then he is blasted through the walls, and everything quiets. The music fades to a low and ominous repeating melody. There is a certain type of shame, disappointment dispersed to the crowd, and the ninja.

It could be. Generic unnecessary sacrifice but the way it’s set up seems like so much moreeeee…

sooso imagine this: despite being called lukewarm, reader still gives rin yummy passes (ykyk the BEST passes he could ever get)

a small scenario of them 2vs2 against another npc from blue lock and pink lock (obv winning)

Rin was the type of guy who’d you admire from a distance. Like the sun. Never looking for too long and never attempting to get close too. Everyone was whispering about him the minute they came back into the dorms, giggling and talking how how they swore he looked at them. But if you were to ask them if they would consider talking to him or even date him… they’d all laugh and say now. Even a blind man could see how much of a red flag he was.

And why would they? Not after what you would tell them. You were the best in the group - so no one was surprised when you got paired up with Rin. Best with the best. No one was even mad, it was as obvious as the sky being blue. But it only worked in theory - not practice.

“A 4th grader could pass better than that-“ he scoffed as he walked away from the net. They literally couldn’t though, which made you frustrated. You had no shame in saying he was batter than you, but it was the fact that he refused to acknowledge that you were a competent player that drove you crazy. It seemed like your play style shifted to mold to him - which you didn’t mind, being in his shadow taught you a lot, much to your displeasure.

“Too short-“ he would scoff. “Too long.” “Too wide.” It was always something wrong with them. Maybe you were blind, or just plain stupid, because to you the passes were perfect. Hit with an accuracy that needed to be scientifically studied. Rolled so smooth in his direction that you’d think you hit a magnet in the ball. Never disrupting his path or making him stop for even a nanosecond.

“What do you want?” You ask, being fed up. You had been running around in this hot ass jersey for the better part of two hours. Following him like a lost puppy on the field as he ran past stimulation after simulation. Making sure to always be ready for him. You were like his second in command, never missing a beat. He didn’t even stop to hear you out, just walking to his water bottle on the edge of the field.

Instead of taking that as the blatant narcissism it was, you took that as a sign to be better. Push yourself more. And you did. Your spatial awareness increased ten folds, your accuracy near perfection - and you had gotten used to his rather unpredictable style. You knew the moves he made before he even thought of them, mapping out each move he could make and pin pointing the one he would be most likely.

You achieved something that no one in bluelock history had. You understood Rin. You could predict Rin.

“Too wide-“ he said as he walked away from the net.

No it wasn’t. You refused to live in that delusion. You had been telling yourself that for almost 10 days constantly, and there was no way he didn’t feel the improvements.

“Maybe you’re just too slow-“ you scoff, wiping the sweat off your brow.

That made him stop. “What?” He asked in a dangerously low tone. “Your reaction time is too slow, you need to be in position faster - I can’t slow down a pass-“ you say as you turn to him. In your mind, giving some friendly advice as you would to anyone of your teammates. And you were right. That’s what he hated. You were right.

He felt his fists ball up, his body moving automatically as he approached you. “Don’t think that you’re going get far just cuz you can make a few passes,” he sneered as he stood infront of you. Glaring daggers at you. “Go bat your pretty little lashes to someone who’s incompetent enough to receive your passes-“

“I am.” You cut him off.

He looked stunned by your response, having nothing else to say. He turned around, walking off and you swore you saw steam coming out of his ears.

Pretty little lashes, you repeat to yourself. What was that supposed to mean?

He couldn’t take his eyes off you. The way your curves looked in that spandex suit… it was like a sirens call. The field seemed to blur out compared to the sight of you. Fixing your hair as you waited for the whistle to blow. You turned back to look at him, your eyes locking him in place. Like a black hole you seemed to Engulf him in them…

The whistle blew and he began to run towards the ball. Though it seemed like he couldn’t quite get a grasp on it. The small slipping from his feet like it had been smothered in butter. The faceless players coming up and stealing it with efficiency he couldn’t even dream of keeping up with. He watched him score a goal, his feet refusing to move. It was as if his had sprouted roots and they were etched deep into the ground to prevent him from moving. He watched the other team score, again and again and again. Until the score board ran out of numbers.

In a blink of an eye he was in the locker room, you infront of him as you yelled at him for missing the goal. “You were too slow-“ your voice sounded like an echo. “You need to move faster-“ but his eyes kept drifting to your body. How the spandex suit left nothing to the imagination. “Let me make it up to you,” he whispered as he took a step closer. His hands finding their way on your hips as he pushed you back on the lockers. He could feel the texture of the suit, and the way your muscles moved underneath it. Reacting to his touch as he leaned down to your neck, you titling your head back for him to plant a gentle kiss on your skin.

“Rin…” you breathe out as you feel him gently leave a trail of kisses on your neck, going up from your collarbone to your jaw. His hands moving up your body, feeling every muscle twitch at the feeling. Your arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer and you closed the distance between eachothers bodies. “You’re so pretty,” he cooed in your ear, kissing the outer shell. He pulled back to look at you. The way you looked up at him, though those pretty little lashes of yours, made his legs weak. He leaned down, kissing you. You returning his kiss back with the same passion. Your fingers tangled in his hair as you pulled him closer. His hands snaked down to the back of your thighs, lifting you up and pressing you against the lockers, his tongue dancing with yours as you moan into the kiss.

“Rin…” you’d moan as you broke the kiss from time to time. He’s feel the suit coming off your body as well as his, feeling your soft skin against his. “Aren’t you going a little too fast-“ your giggle. “I thought you liked that,” he smirked back as he leaned down for a kiss and-

His eyes opened at the sound of his alarm clock. His hand reaching out to shut it off.

He watched you like a hawk as you warmed up. The girls had finally gotten their spandex suits in, and god you looked better than he had imagined. As you warmed up, stretching your legs and back, he watched like a shameless pervert - memorizing every groove of your body.

“Too wide-“ he said as he watched the score board light up with a 1. He turned to you, not missing the way you rolled your eyes at his remark. “Give it a break-“ you pant. “Just because you get to play dress up doesn’t mean you’re not a half baked npc-“

You didn’t know why your new outfit was catching a stray. You hadn’t even brought it up…

“I think it looks nice,” you mumble as you turn around to go back to the half line, a few steps behind him.

“It does-“

“what?”

“I said - times up. We need to get back into the game-“ he replied, in a more rushed manner than he would usually. Jogging back to the line, something you had never seen him do.

i watnt more games that will rlly generate conversation with me like with whos lila + mouthwashing it generated a lot of conversation with me & my bf like either theories or just kind of piecing everything together and seeing the full picture there was so much conversation there. i plan on maybe playing silent hill for him (at LEAST sh2) but i want more like shorter indie stuff that will generate that level of conversation idkk

sonic 3 spoilers below the thingy cos i HAVE to yap abt this movie

IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD MY BROTHER IN CHRIST SHADOW IS SO PERFECT though i feel like he didnt get as much screentime as he shouldve anywho im gonna yap abt some of my favorite scenes in the movie

the beginning - MARIA PLAYING LIVE AND LEARN ON THE GUITAR WAS SO COOL!!!!! it at least makes the song have some kind of sentimental value to shadow in-universe which im super happy abt. and also the way shadow was animated when he was beating up the g.u.n agents and whatnot IT WAS SO GOOD

team sonic first shadow encounter - it was great. the dialogue was a little cringe at the beginning but i believe that shadow's motorcycle chase was actually one of the best scenes in the movie it was so good and also sonic saying " wHO DOES YOUR HIGHLIGHTS??? " was great, it made me think of that one snapcube moment

idkk how to word my feelings on the general middle of the movie, things slow down a bit BUT WHEN THEY WERE AT THE OLD G.U.N BASE AND SHADOW PINNED SONIC TO THE GLASS??? OH MY GOD??? and also knuckles being scared of ghosts is adorable to me

anywho. the end - first of all, them referencing the snapcube thing by having sonic call shadow " hot topic " was GREAT and i dont care if it was intentional or not. i was cackling so hard AND i actually get most of my sonic merch from hot topic, AND I WAS WEARING MOST OF IT WHEN I SAW THE MOVIE SO... and also that convo that sonic and shadow had on the moon was so adorable i leaned over to my sister and said " HES SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL " referring to shadow of course but he was rlly pretty in that scene idk how to explain it

when shadow powered the eclipse cannon i was trying my best not to fangirl and NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART

THE SUPER SONIC SHADOW FIGHT/TEAMUP - GIRL.... WHEN THEY SHOWED SUPER SHADOW I SCREAMED SO HARD THEY ACTUALLY EDITED A SCENE IN THE TRAILER JUST TO HIDE THAT FROM US.... I WAS SHAKING MY SISTERS SHOULDER SO HARD I WAS LIKE " GIRL LOOK JQDJWOECEOCRWOEW " IT WAS SO COOL BTW SPOILER IMAGE INCOMING LOOK OUT

LOOK AT THIS MF. LOOK. AT. HIM. HIS FACE- THAT DAMN SMIRK, THE COLOR, THE FACT THAT THEY USED LIVE AND LEARN DURING THIS SCENE MADE THIS FUCKING PERFECT TO ME BRO not that he wasnt perfect already- OQWIOFUWO

i have a theory btw so all those badniks or robots or whatever that sonic and shadow fought in space? they looked like omega so if one of them somehow survived and stone found him somehow fixed him and whatnot maybe they could get omega in the next movie that way

thoughts on the tdp s6 leaks

aaravos is alone in a space with a galaxy sky, mountains, and a pool of water reflecting everything perfectly.

so theory 1 is that this place used to be a civilization before this star fell

and aaravos maybe befriended the people there. maybe they got out of line, out of what was supposed to be the natural order so the startouch elves in charge eradicated them all.

aaravos is devastated, and that wide shot is intending to show how painfully alone he now is, when the other startouch elf “beams in” to existence to comfort him with something he takes to heart.

but in this context saying something like that doesn’t really seem that comforting?

but he does take it to heart then, committing as many war crimes as the length of your amazon wishlist was justified because nothing is permanent and if other startouch elves can wipe out societies with so much as a side eye so can he but changing things for the better or cheating the rules of the system maybe.

theory 2: this place is the startouch dimension and only they can beam into there.

so maybe aaravos was caught in a really painful moment and had to step away and be alone for a moment and the merciful one approached to comfort the star of elarion.

so, when is this really painful moment, you might ask?

whats interesting again is that this takes place with aaravos’s star blacked out.

we see in the shot of aaravos during the half moon decision by luna tenebris that his hair is glowing, skin is brighter, eyes are pink, star is white, but not here. so either

a. something took place between luna tenebris half moon and present day, which i doubt because i can’t think of anything (but admittedly we don’t know much about that era, just that humans were cast out, etc, then aaravos decided to go after luna tenebris and all of xadia, so maybe it actually is plausible that some unknown event occurred to break him like this, or perhaps the dividing of xadia itself.)

b. the other possibility, which i favor, is that aaravos was just in power up form in the half moon decision shot, and he otherwise would have the black star etc. just like here

then the event breaking him is perhaps

1. losing leola (leola’s last wish implies she left for something, maybe she sacrificed herself so that humanity could have primal magic) who he had some sort of bond with

2. the fall of elarion & loss of ziard+etc (which i favor, benevolent prometheus angle) or

3. learning that all humanity would be sentenced to die (before luna tenebris was convinced to spare them)

4. becoming a fallen star

HAUNTED MANSION

soooo, i was checkin out the official HauntedMansion account on twitter and was watching a new promo snippet-

and something caught my eye, so i took a screenshot to show you all

now im not great at analyzing stuff- but we've seen this shot in the trailers before- but not this close to Hatbox Ghost or Ben (LaKeith's character)

from certain reviews ive seen on Twitter, the film itself deals with loss and grief- and from other stuff apparently Ben is a widowed man? So his wife could've died?

Hatbox in from the snippets and trailers we've seen- he clearly is shown as a unrelenting force of great power. Or in simple words, a dark spirit (As what Harriet has said) He's clearly interacting more with Ben in most of the scenes shown on twitter. (Being chased, ect)

In one of the snippet presumably Gracey's voice (shown in the captions says)

"His power is beyond control." (Alluding to the fact our Hatbox Ghost is very powerful dark spirit- I dunno if that's the correct saying on what Gracey said in the promo HDFSJKS)

in the screenshot above- it appears Hatbox is calmer, even possibly acting gentle- less hostile toward the mortal.

Hatbox is visibly outstretching his hand for Ben. Ben, looking cautious (that's all I can make out LOL- perhaps a tiny bit curious?)

(Keep in mind Hatty clearly DESPISES the mortal characters from what is shown from all the promo stuff on insta an twitter)

So, why would he be acting understanding toward Ben? Our mortal character?

Then again- Hatbox Ghost could be lying, deceiving Ben-

Like?? Hatbox (or Alistair) is clearly saying something to Ben. But what is he saying? Well, we'll have to wait till the film releases. ALTHOUGH! going with the snippets ect, and if I'm correct..

What if Hatbox is offering Ben a deal, he can allow Ben too see his dead wife again? But only if Ben joins Hatbox- by basically, un-a-living himself. Pretty dark, who knows what's going down in that scene!

I have a feeling Hatbox is just being a manipulator, trying to seep into Ben's mind- breaking him down, lying to him, because Ben's presumably suffered a lot in the film. (Cause it's clear- Hatbox is the bad fella in the film)

BUT IDKK, this snippet just took me by interest- and I can't wait to see what will play out HFDSJKDSKJDSJK

ive read thru all the asks you get (cuz i do this everyday) and ik u said that the ending is undecided, but i cannot see her NOT ending up w megumi??? 😭 AND I KNOW YOU SAID THERE WILL BE 2 ENDINGS but i have a sliiiight feeling mercupine will be canon ending, and mermotionless is the “what if”

LIKE in a way, kamo feels like a means to an end (is that how you use that??) the direction that y/n and kamos story is going feels entirely like theyre not SUPPOSED to last. this is also going off of the fact i am CERTAIN that y/n and kamo will get together 😶😶

another thing to support my theory is in the end, losing kamo will be easier than losing megumi for her, cuz while kamo only tainted the later half of her highschool years, megumi has impacted her entire LIFE. y/n and megumis souls are so intertwined that forgetting about each other will be impossible, whereas forgetting kamo will be a much easier task. (maybe not FORGETTINGGG him but getting over him)

IDKK maybe im just projecting because losing my close friends i made in high school would be easier than losing my BEST friend since kindergarten (none of them would be EASY tho i love my friends)
