The Orphanage (2007) ​ The Orphanage (Spanish: El orfanato) is a 2007 Spanish gothic supernatural horror film and the debut feature of Spanish filmmaker J. A. Bayona. The film stars Belén Rueda as Laura, Fernando Cayo as her husband, Carlos, and Roger Príncep as their adopted son Simón. The plot centers on Laura, who returns to her childhood home, an orphanage. Laura plans to turn the house into a home for disabled children, but after an argument with Laura, Simón goes missing. The film's script was written by Sergio G. Sánchez in 1996 and brought to the attention of Bayona in 2004. Bayona asked his long-time friend, director Guillermo del Toro, to help produce the film and to double its budget and filming time. Bayona wanted the film to capture the feel of 1970s Spanish cinema; he cast Geraldine Chaplin and Belén Rueda, who were later praised for their roles in the film. Personal Shopper (2017) Personal Shopper is a 2016 supernatural psychological thriller film written and directed by Olivier Assayas. The film stars Kristen Stewart as a young American woman in Paris who works as a personal shopper for a celebrity and tries to communicate with her deceased twin brother. An international co-production between Belgium, Czech Republic, France and Germany, the film was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. At Cannes, Assayas shared the Best Director Award with Cristian Mungiu, who directed Graduation. The film was released on 14 December 2016 in France and 10 March 2017 in the United States. The film received positive reviews from critics, with particular praise for Stewart's performance. In the Christmas storyline, Bailey also received a gift. I’ve     always been curious about who gave him the gift. It seems that the PC  would not hesitate to give him a gift, but the game does not offer the  option to buy a gift for Bailey. Or perhaps it was given by Robin? I believe he’s the most likely person to do so. How did Bailey feel upon     receiving the gift, and how did he subsequently treat it? And what kind of     gifts would make Bailey happy?

The Orphanage (2007) Laura is a former attendee of an orphanage, when she grows older she and her husband buy it and turn it into their family home. When her son goes missing she discovers a dark and grisly past that she never knew existed. This film was great. From the start I was hooked. It’s a subtitled film, and the native language is Spanish, for someone that rarely indulges in subtitled films it didn’t make any difference and didn’t take anything away from the viewing experience. The story is fantastically paced and unfolds beautifully, it has different layers that interweave in a manner that reveals each one in a clean and concise manner as the film goes on. This is one of the things I loved, many horror films fall by the wayside because they’re over-complicated and leave too much to the imagination, and fail to explain what happened. This is the opposite! Atmospherically, it manages to stay consistently eerie, and doesn’t feel overdone or boring, it keeps itself at a steady level whilst adding high tension and suspense, it confidently stands out and delves deep into Laura’s psyche to create a unsettling but impressive atmosphere! Directed by Bayona with long time friend Guillermo Del Toro who is well known for being one of the masters of horror. They switch blood, guts and gore galore for suspense and a psychological vice to create a beautiful and vivid movie that ends just as well as it starts. The acting is great, and everyone who takes part in this fills their role superbly, this mixed with a brilliant story and a just as atmospheric soundtrack makes for a winning combination! It has its moments where you wonder how necessary some scenes are, and some minor characters could probably not have existed, but when they do, they don’t take away from the film, they just don’t particularly add to it either. But overall, this is a great horror, a psychological adventure of tense and suspense that isn’t to be missed. Hoy fuimos a ver a San Antón, que no nos pudo atender por cuestiones de overbooking, pero nos atendió su ayudante y me salpicó agua con el "piropo", que es un super poder dorado que te proteje de los demonios. Luego me dieron el carnet oficial del Club de San Antón, y además me hicieron miembro de los Green Lantern, con una linterna verde que además es un porta bolsas para cacas. Ríete tú de la Termomix. ¡Se acabó el cagar In The Dark! Luego nos fuimos al parque de perros a ver al niño funambulista que desafió a la muerte andando por la pasarela ¡¡¡sin red!!!, y a la salida Frank me hizo un "Belén Rueda" en El Orfanato 2 porque el día estaba tan feo que parecía un póster de película de miedo. Motivatie

Na the Honeymoon Hotel gespeeld te hebben, dacht ik dat het moeilijk was om deze te overtreffen. Maar wat heb ik mij vergist! Deze kamer overtreft al mijn verwachtingen. Aan alles is gedacht. Goede spanningsopbouw, veel verschillende leuke, uitdagende en creatieve puzzels en een enorm goede bijpassende sfeer. Mijn complimenten! Deze Escape Room komt op een tweede plek, net na de Meisjeskamer (maar dat scheelt niet veel), gevolgd door the Honeymoon Hotel en The Experiment. Bij binnenkomst al een ongemakkelijk gevoel krijgen en gelijk het verhaal ingetrokken worden als je de kamer betreedt. We, 5 personen, ontsnapten uit de kamer op 2 seconden na, dus we hebben voluit kunnen genieten!
