“oh so you now know what i think?“ and erik is usually the calm one. he doesn’t let his emotions get the best of him because his sister is the volatile one. not him. but she had done something so reckless and his emotions are running wild after what happened to mom. “THIS could kill you. do you even care about me? what it would do to me if I lost you too?” he is barely keeping himself together after their mother. losing his twin is not an option. “have you even thought about trying to split up the hollow with me? we are TWINS, Hope. stop doing everything on your own.” they were supposed to be a unity, better than their father and aunts and uncles. their always and forever was supposed to mean something.

He had lost his mother too, though barely a child when it happened, he can relate to one feeling in particular. That he had a hand in her death, as Hope surely felt. “It’s not easy, and it won’t be for a long time. But we survive, and she would want that for you.” He barely knew Hayley himself. Only talked for a while, here and there, but he felt the woman’s motherly care. “She would want you to live. And be as great as she knew you would be.”
