Orange claws clicked together as Glitch fidgeted. He'd finished with his work for the day and decided to hang back and wait for Skids.

Except now he was bored.

So he fidgets.

He would have left and met him at home however, it was safer for him to wait to go with someone. The last time he'd walked alone, he'd ended up having to have his optic repaired because some mech got his jollies by hurting stray empurata'd mechs.

[ roller missing the war has got to be rough on him and I wish we’d gotten to see more of his adjustment in canon, because he has to have such whiplash from all the changes. ]

Honestly, this would be something I’d be willing to explore with someone on this blog since they didn’t in the comic because I mean... that has to be quite some whiplash to deal with and not to mention, it would give him more depth besides buddy cop that relies on enhancers to cover up his insecurities. Not that isn’t some good content there on its own, but that on top of this would be even more.

“Ugh, tell me about it..” He murmured from a pile of pillows, peaking from the edge of his pillow a little bashfully.  The idea of being paired with a mech he barely knew irked him. He was always told of the importance of virtue, specifically his own. He was never allowed out in the wee hours of the night, to date anyone and was hardly allowed to socialize with any mech or femme so less it was a family friend or something of the sort pretty much all his life! They had no right doing this to him —to his p-partner.. Ugh!He buried his face back into pillows with a groan. All of this was so stupid.. He didn’t want to interface with him, he barely wanted to look at him  —He was pretty hot, he could lie about that, but this was all too much for him right now. “What the hell are we going to do..?”

He hums low and sprawls on the berth in agreement, shifting so he can watch Skids work from the corner of his optic. “Gonna make me look pretty?” he asks, teasing.

Oh, Tarantulas had figured that out by now, with other mechs chattering on his datafeed about it enough to distract his attention. A ping to his feed, and Tarantulas tosses his two letters into the mix. There you go. Now we have:

A Daring Escape

When Getaway is hauled into the lab cells, he’s completely falling apart.

Vents seizing, fans whining, engine stuttering, his entire system roaring with distress and panic. His voice is weak and wheezy, unable to get proper air from his vents, and between choked-back terrified sobs he tries to stammer out pleas for mercy, begging to be let go, he’ll leave the ship and never come back, he promises.

He’s thrown in a cell, and curls up on the ground, system spluttering and clattering discordantly in terror. He remains that way even after the door to the cells is slammed shut and he’s left alone.

... For half a minute.

And precisely thirty seconds after the door shut, there’s an awful grinding sound as Getaway’s fans are forced to stop and his rattling engine shuts down.

He gets up, looking out his small cell window at the other cells. He hisses, “Hey! Skids! Are you still in here? Can you hear me?”
