My Opinion on;

Character in general: TOMMY MERLYN DESERVED BETTER! phew now that I got that off my chest I can say -- TOMMY MERLYN DESERVED THE WORLD! yep. That’s pretty much it. How they play them: Gosh it’s been a hot minute since we’ve interacted in character but this Tommy is the first and longest Tommy I’ve followed in over three years and I highly enjoy their characterization! The Mun: They’ve stuck with me this long so they gotta be cool! What’s it been? Three years? Three and a half? I can’t remember if you came around before or after me-- did I follow you first or vise versa???? GAH ITS BEEN SO LONG!

I am 32 today and I don’t really have any plans, but I thought I’d give a shout out to a few people who have made tumblr worth my time since I moved over here two years ago.  (Note:  If you got tagged, you made it worth it and if you didn’t its because I've written with so many of you that its hard to remember your urls! <3 )

A deep breath in followed by a slow exhale as he tried to calm the boiling anger seething through him. It had been a while since he listened to the voicemail his wife sent him the night she died. He had memorized every word. That was what he spent the night doing before murdering the man responsible.

Looking at his son now, Malcolm saw the hurt in the other’s eyes as the recording came to a stop. Now that his plan was practically inches from unfolding, there was no leaving his son in the dark. And it wouldn’t mend their relationship in the slightest but he deserved the truth. It was better than not mentioning it to his son at all.

“I know that was hard to listen to but it’s time you knew the truth.”

These days, it’s not unusual that Tommy comes down to visit Team Arrow. In fact, it’s so close to his workplace that it’s almost surprising he didn’t know until recently that the Arrow had been operating out of the club’s basement. 

But for Malcolm, all of this will take some getting used to. Having not gone through with The Undertaking, thanks to one Bucky Barnes, he was looking for other ways to deal with his pent-up aggression and grief. Helping Team Arrow seems to be working. He’s happier now. He smiles now. And that’s thanks to two people: Bucky and Tommy.

Bucky is an old friend. During his time in the League of Assassins, he was known by another name, and his face was never seen. But years later, Bucky and Malcolm met again. And he was the one who convinced Malcolm to stop The Undertaking before it was too late.

And now that Tommy knows everything about his father and the League of Assassins, things between the two of them are beginning to mend. After years of Malcolm neglecting his son, he’s finally making up for it. They’re spending time together, they’re telling each other more about their lives. It’s the relationship they should have had all these years.

Today, they’re going to lunch together. So when Tommy arrives at his office, Malcolm wraps up his work and meets his son at his secretary’s desk.

“Tommy,” he says as he rests a hand on his son’s shoulder and smiles. “Shall we?”

         despite the fact that thea was angry at her mother due to moira’s involvement with the undertaking and how worried she was for her mother, thea couldn’t stop smiling while tommy hugged her. after all, he had almost died ; she had almost lost him. a life without her brother’s best friend in life was unfathomable. thea had known tommy ever since she was a baby and although she had attempted to kiss him once, he had always been there for her. ‘ i’m so glad that you’re awake! it’s about time that you woke up. i should send you the salon bill since i have grey hairs. ‘ a chuckle escaped her lips while tears welled in her green eyes. ‘ as soon as you regain some of your strength, i promise that ollie and i will bust you out of this joint and take you home. ‘ a beat. ‘ to OUR home. ‘ after all, the queen mansion was where tommy spent most of his time growing up and he was family. oh, the brunette did not know at the time how right she was. ‘ i’ve already given raisa a list of your favorite foods and your room is being prepared as i speak. ‘

Who said “I love you” first: Tommy said it first when he was saving Laurel. Laurel said it a few weeks later when things were starting to calm down and she could just focus on the two of them.

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: Both. Laurel has a picture of them as a couple on it and Tommy has a picture of just Laurel.

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Tommy and it drives Laurel mad. Every once in a while she will leave a message for him but for the most part she likes to get ready in the morning without having to read messages.

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Tommy and Laurel loves it. She would much rather have a sentimental cheesy gift than anything expensive.

Who initiated the first kiss: Laurel and it wasn’t out of a feeling of romance but because she wanted to feel something again and he was the one who was helping her with that.

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Tommy, but it’s rare that Tommy is awake before Laurel and she uses the quiet time to get work done.

Who starts tickle fights: Both, but Laurel pretends to hate being tickled and will fight to get away. Though she is laughing the entire time.

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Tommy asks and Laurel just jumps in.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Tommy always Tommy, and it’s one of the reasons she feel so hard for him.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Both, they knew their entire relationship was about to change.

Who kills/takes out the spiders: Whoever sees them

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Laurel did when she drank and Tommy found it hilarious.

my opinion on;

character in general: Honestly I love Tommy Merlyn more than I should considering he was only in one season.  I feel like they could have done so much more with him, and I’m still heartbroken over his death.  Regardless of his fate, I will always have a special place in my heart for Tommy.how they play them: Honestly this is MY TOMMY.  This is the Tommy to my Felicity.  I have been roleplaying with this gem since I basically started playing Felicity, and I’m so glad to be continuing Flommy with you :Dthe mun: Have I mentioned their a gem?  Like 100% sweetheart.  Cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure
