The Once are woke af. Learned yesterday that I'm going to die (several times) and we're all just kids inside being captured in a bit cage that wrinkle and are getting older or something like that. The Once-ler’s Family vs. The Once-ler

As you can see, here is the family of the Once-ler. Out of all of his family, with or without the green suit, he is literally the most good-looking one out of them all. His mom is pretty but she clearly isn’t the best... her brothers are literally boiled eggs and his aunt + uncle are... interesting?

Here is the Once-ler. He was literally so attractive. I know people think it’s weird to think this man is cute but i mean,, he is cute, though!

Time After Time: a View in My WIP Folder Pt.1

So, folks, I promised to share the new stories for Time After Time, my wlw miniseries project, in my WIP folder while I slowly keep writing them and hopefully complete some of them soon. It takes a while to write one story at the moment but we’ll see.

Eighteen Century Vienna: a story set in one of the iconic capitals of opera at the time of Mozart. An emerging singer gets the chance to be an understudy in the latest Mozart’s discussed opera Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) and play the pants role of the page Cherubino. Preparing for the role doesn’t quite go as planned...but is it a bad thing? Read the story and find out 

Suffragette Time: as I have mentioned, I have a bigger project for this time setting that I will try and develop in a novel...if I manage. I will keep the theme of a story spanning a decade I am particularly interested in (1910 - 1020) but with different carachters. This time, a nurse helping out a suffragette just released from prison will be the uncommon beginning of a love story...

A Boston Marriage: another love story through the years to pay an homage to the glorious tradition of the Boston Marriages at the turn of the century. Ever heard of The Bostonians by Henry James? Recommended reading. I have absolutely no ambition to compare to Mr. James but I have a little story to tell.

Regency England: we all know and (some) love Jane Austen but why not making her stories a bit more queer at last? Like...what if a fine young lady scores an engagement with a fine young heir of a wealthy family only to fall in love with the lesbian cousin of the bethroed in the process? Let’s make it happen. Also, quotes for Shakespeare.

Roaring Twenties: a fashion designer travels back home to the family estate that seems crystalized in a bygone era. Soon insufferent between theonce  familiar walls, with an ‘unconventional move’ she befriends the girl assigned to be her maid for the duration of her stay. Will anyone catch feelings? 

Yes, I like Downton Abbey. Yes, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Vita Sackville West/Virginia Woolf and Colette will have a role in this story.
