Mama Kang seeing her daughter happy, decides she can retire so give the bookstore to YN.

Heeseung is promoted to manager and he's enjoying the extra power and that he is making more money now.

Sunoo has actually decided to make use of his engineering degree, by getting a job at a top company.

The same company that Intak, Keeho and Theo work at. Who all help Sunoo out whenever they can.

Intak at some point, tells Sunghoon that he was in love with YN and the 2 of them bond over being in love with YN 😂.

YN comes home to see them drunk talking about her and she just shakes her head before calling Heeseung and Jake to help with getting the two of them to bed.

The girls, made the choice to reconnect with YN and Sunghoon, they call themselves the original shippers.

So I came to W&H and B&E in an odd way. I'm a long time Dramione fic reader who like many of us doubled down on in 2020 to find comfort in a bananas year. I kept seeing W&H on everyone's rec list, but for whatever reason kept putting it off. Then I heard about the prequel and decided to wait for that to be finished, read it, then do W&H. But once it was finished, I saw you recommended W&H first so I was like okay I'll do that. I struggle with impulse control but am trying to do better so when I saw the audiobook for W&H I was like perfect, I'll listen rather than read that way I won't gobble it up in a day. Ha well that did not work, I listened to the first 3 chapters (at that time those were the only chapters they had recorded) then instantly ran not walked to A03, reread said chapters, then continued on. At Chapter 4 of W&H, I thought hmm maybe I'll read them simultaneously. I continued that way maybe through Chapter 13 of B&E and Chapter 7ish then fully committed to W&H first. I cannot imagine reading these fics in real time because reading them in full, back to back was the most intense glutenous binge and it's taken over my life in the best way. I have been living in your fictional universe for the past two weeks. I started a list of all the parallels and callbacks and eventually had to call it because they are innumerable. I'm awed. In literal awe. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Your writing - the individual words of your vast vocabulary, the way you string said words together into hilarious, heart breaking, heart stopping, beautiful, and visceral feelings is astounding. It's hard to explain but even good writers (and/or an intriguing plot) sometimes do not create an overall immersive feeling. But the feelings your words evoke are all encompassing and truly universe building. Like it's not just the wording or the plot or the charters but all of it together come to make something even greater than the sum of their parts. Your writing, your universe of W&H, S&S, and B&E live in my mind and heart and in an embarrassing amount of screenshots of passages on my phone and in voice memos to myself as I don't have anyone irl to fan girl with. When I think of your words and the world you built, I'm reminded of a Taylor Swift lyric: "it cut deep to know you, right to the bone". That is how I'd describe your writing's effect on me, but in the best way.

Your brain's capacity to plot, plan, and flawlessly deliver W&H THEN B&E? Idk how you kept all the threads and plot points and moments and timelines in check. My head aches just thinking about how you wrote these stand-alone but also inextricable works of art. Like how does one's brain function in such a level? And it's especially telling in B&E because we knew where we were going but I still gasped, screamed, squealed, giggled, had to put my phone down, clutched it to my heart, fist pumped, stopped half way through just for a minute to breath and take it all in, and overall looked and acted as an utter idiot during each and every chapter because while I knew where we were going I also had no idea! I'm just floored you managed to keep us at the edge of our seats with a prequel? Who does that? You do!

The texts in the final chapter of W&H devastated me, literal chills. I think about that daily. It's exactly what H and we needed. Just like a reminder of what they went through. It reminded me of Chapter 41 of B&E. Like a summary of where they had been and where they are now.

The other thing that rattled in my brain is the motifs of choice and time, life kind of boils down to those two things huh? But choice especially. It's funny because choice is so prominent but at the same time how W&H and B&E give off soulmate vibes even though this is not a soulmate fic (also are the rumors true...?!) because despite time turners, breakups, and lost memories, they always come back together. But more on choice: it's just as Draco says - in a million scenarios he'll always choose her and he feels lucky she chose him just once. But of course with W&H, she does it twice. And she does it in both timelines of B&E, and of course that's the problem when Draco realizes he has not done the same hence heartbreak 1.0. And just god - he wants her to have a choice with the potion, a choice with her memories, and stops the timey wimey madness by realizing he's taking her choice (and in a way H started it by taking away his choice and leaving the first time). And then those parts about how he chose her, she chose him, but they could not chose each other. This motif, these callbacks. I'm flabbergasted. It's just hitting me now that you extend the choice to us as readers - we get to choose whether H get her memories back or not.

Theo in all your Wait and Hope universe, but especially S&S broke me. Blaise asking who is taking care of Theo when he's taking care of everyone else? Theo's literal and figurative demons? Yikes. Those were unpleasant looks in the mirror for me. I'm glad Theo has his Blaise. Where's mine haha? Also just shout to your underrated Blaise. The fact that he might be my favorite of the Slytherians in your stories says a lot since he doesn't say a lot haha. But he packs such a punch in all your works.

Okay, after singing your well deserved praises and fan girling and marveling at your works (god this is so long, I'm so sorry!), at long last my ask. I still cannot get this out of my head: what did Theo mean in Chapter 1 of B&E when he suggests to Draco “I know that. Maybe you could—tell her some of—” some of what? I zeroed in on this as soon as I read it and it's been rattling in my brain ever since.

um. hi? holy shit. i dont know how to process this. i am resisting the impulse to cringe away from the level of praise happening here because i really need to learn how to take a compliment but oh my god? i am not...this is just...wowzers. you are very literally too kind to me. i have melted into a puddle of feelings in my reading chair here. 

so, first things first: thank you. these are some of the nicest things i’ve ever heard about my writing and i can guarantee i will come back to this ask when I'm feeling like i suck and need a motivation boost. i can’t deny...it feels really nice to know that at least one person out there caught and appreciated some of the insane attention to detail i forced upon myself lol. so thank you. truly, thank you so much for saying such amazingly kind things that have short circuited my brain!

so, in my mind, after draco’s house arrest ended and before he went abroad for his mastery, he and theo had an extensive (most likely drunken. also blaise was probably there too) night of reflection where they kind of just looked back at their childhoods and the war and the history of blood purity and just sort of went: “what the fuck?” i imagine draco probably confided in theo that when he went abroad, he planned to just try and pretend like none of it mattered, to see if that was really true. and draco probably kept him updated via owl (even though draco did not write enough and theo had feelings about that) so that by the time draco returned and we have theo asking that sort of trailing question, the implication at the end is “what if you told granger some of your realizations about it all?” so...not all that exciting? but there you have it!

I do! Even if it’s just to thank someone and wish them a lovely day. I think the only comments I haven’t responded to are ones like ‘huh?’ or ‘eh?’. I can’t do much with those.

In a very gross way, comments are like laxatives. If you want more shit out of me, shove comments down my throat. My motivation will jump from toodle-doo to PHWOAR if anyone knows or understands what that means.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

The Alternate Ending (Tragic) to Transit of Venus.

Transit of Venus was already pretty angsty, but the people wanted to see the most harrowing of the five endings I wrote. So I put on my patent-pending Sob Through Anything glasses (eucalyptus on the nose grip, moisture wicking on the glass) and edited a Romeo + Juliet- style ending.

Do you write crossovers? If so what’s the craziest one you’ve written?

No, but I do write Easter Eggs. Though I do have a plunny to crossover Derry Girls with Harry Potter where the character of James is Harry being sent to Derry for his protection.

It is the only crossover I’ve ever dabbled in and the the couple pages I’ve written are utter madness so I don’t hold out hope I’ll ever publish it..

Oh, but do songfics count? Because then I have LOADS. Mostly Taylor Swift because folklore stole my soul.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yes, my favourite was telling me the entire premise of Transit of Venus was stupid and I should have taken a leaf out of their country’s way of doing things to up population and given tracts of land to couples . Soo... colonialism with implications of people displacement and other more heinous consequences they found preferable to a soul spell.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I do write smut. My favourite type of smut to write is romantic, sensual smut. I’m also very much looking forward to writing the smut for my crackfic.

I think my most favourite smut scene I’ve written though is in Her Curious Valentine’s where Theo reads really bad, gratuitous Dramione smut out loud in the company of both Draco and Hermione while they try and ignore him.

I laughed a lot writing that.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I honestly have no idea how I’d even check that. But probably not. I doubt anyone would want to take credit for anything I write.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but as an exercise to practice my Te Reo, I occasionally translate passages of my own.

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Dramione. I ‘White Flag by Dido’ Dramione. I stan, simp, ship, fangirl and tresh Dramione. I refuse to feel guilt, only pleasure. Please don’t come for me Ronmione fans, I like Ron, okay? I’m just shit at writing him and just make him say, “Bloody hell!” all the time.

But also Theo with anyone, particularly Harry. Theo is my favourite character because he is almost 100% fanon. He epitomises the Harry Potter fanfic community for me so I have to love him forever and ever.

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I’m writing a WIP called ‘The Madnesses of Men’ that details seven women’s relationships with the men in their life: The three Black sisters, Pansy, Luna, Ginny and Hermione. Each has a Seven Deadly Sin as the title of their chapter and each has a completely different writing style. Luna’s chapter is entirely poetry. Bellatrix is an exercise of insanity and a stream of consciousness. Narcissa’s is all letters to Andromeda that she never sent.

I would love to finish it because it is something very different for me but I’m struggling to find Pansy and Andromeda’s voices. Le sigh, maybe one day. (But let’s be honest, it’ll never happen.)

What are your writing strengths?

Humour - I have a knack for gargling up ridiculous scenarios when I’m brushing my teeth, giggling maniacally like a calcium-deficient vampire while frothing at the mouth with reckless abandon. I put these scenarios in my writing and it goes over well.

Angst - People tell them I make them cry and have been known to punch the heart’s out of people’s bodies so I thank them and wish them a nice day. I once exacerbated someone’s chronic pain condition (which I still feel soul-crushingly guilty about) and was asked to reiterate the ‘Heartbreak’ tag on a fic. I guess that means I’m good at it. Sorry again to that reader!

Trope Twists - My favourite thing to write are twists on tropes. I enjoy finding new ways to tell old stories. Stay tuned for my take on the ‘Unexpected Pregnancy’ theme coming soon.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Run-on sentences - I have a tendency to, more often than not, plug in far too many words which I think stems from some sort of childhood instinct that if I kept talking and talking then my sister won’t find out I drank all her juice and accidentally threw it back up on her favourite Skydancer.

Sticking to my plotting/theme - This has happened a lot. Incandescent was supposed to be a cottagecore, cute, fluffy romance Theomione. Now it is a sprawling space opera where Hermione has fought a god, has learned another version of herself will either save/destroy the entire world (not to mention Atlantis) and rescued a star after it was eaten by a black hole. Oh, and it takes place over one weekend.

The Absolute and Total Defeat of One Draco Malfoy had been fully plotted out for twenty-two chapters. It only took three for me to completely deviate. But it’s a crack fic, so it felt inevitable

The montage/transition pieces - I hate writing the banal parts between plot points. And I hate it because I’m really bad at it. I either skip over it too much or get bogged down in too many details.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I personally like reading dialogue in other languages. If used in a way that makes sense. Especially if the fic is set somewhere that doesn’t speak English, I like to learn a little of the setting’s language to immerse myself.

I tend to use use other languages sparingly in my own writing. Mostly because I don’t want to get it wrong and when I try, I end up in four hour long research holes of the best way to say ‘Hello’.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Ancient Greek mythology, I think. If it can be counted. Would that make ‘The Iliad’ or ‘The Odyssey’ fanfic? Oh gods, I’m going to obsess over this for days now.

What’s your favourite fic that you’ve written?

Transit of Venus because it taught me a lot, though I feel like I best nailed the setting I was going for in Are There Still Beautiful Things. The Absolute and Total Defeat of One Draco Malfoy always cheers me up.

Just, er, something I started last night, I guess~

Out of context, it sounded insane. His head was in my lap, a bottle of vodka in his hand and a two litre of Strawberry Fanta at my feet, both of us stuck in our own minds as the strange music you only hear at times like these plays in the background, the news channel on mute for nothing but the light. "Dammit, it's all so beautiful. It's times like these that make me miss her the most, you know?" I hadn't wanted to say it out loud, but it came out anyway, and I knew it wasn't just the fairy drinks.

".. Your mother?" His voice croaked awkwardly, and I realized how long it'd been since either of us had said a word. I leaned my head back against the wall, closing my eyes. I really don't want to tell him, but at the same time I do, and at least this way I can blame it on bring tipsy.

"I was just about eight, I would say. We were on our way back home from Dakota, which is like an hour south from here. My mom was tired, and my brother was asleep, and I was on the edge of it, and we weren't going to make it through the night if we didn't. So we stopped at a hotel. I sleep really good in hotels, okay. Like, if it weren't for me wanting to be here with you on the floor, I'd be snoozing away. Anyway, I wake up sometimes late. Like, my ears are pounding and I can barely open my eyes kind of late, so late it was almost early. You get my point. I think I had to go to the bathroom or something.

"My point is, there she is. With Trinity and Marrel, drinking something in a silver bottle, laughing. Just, being. I had never really seen that part of her too much, before. But the most surreal part of it, was the music. Sweet dreams are made of this / Who am I to disagree?"

My voice was nothing like that of Annie Lennox and David Steward, but I carried the tune, and that's what I was going for.

"I travel the world and the seven seas." Theo sounds a lot better than I do, but he's an engineer, not a musician. It's not like we care, though. "Everybody's looking for something."

He's standing up, and reaching out his hand, and I take it, and I'm up, and he's grabbing my phone from the night stand. I must be hooked up on the hotel's Wi-Fi.

Then, before I even know it, there it is, playing over the voice of Taylor Swift on the radio we didn't bother to turn off. The world can get fucked. Both of us are drunkenly dancing around the room, laughing at how silly and childish we look.

An engineer and a history major, drunk off their asses, listening to music from the eighties. The context was beautiful. Theo was beautiful. Now that was definitely the alcohol talking.

And because this was already something from a dream, I let it happen. He was smiling and laughing at me, up on the chair, the bottle of Fanta in his hand. There was his mouth, out in the open. And I just, dammit, I went for it. As soon as I felt his mouth on mine, his lips, his hips, his everything, I let it all go.

My tongue was in his mouth, and his skin was on mine, and everything was perfect, everything was fine, everything was just so spectacularly angelic that it was too much. My mouth was red, and his was, too, and so was his jaw- I had to physically restrain myself there. Let me tell you girls. If a man can work a jawline the way Theo could, in the way that all you wanted to do was rub your fingers against it and blush like a girl in a school yard watching your crush play soccer across the field, you better keep the wanker. My god, I don't know why it took me this long to do this.

Suddenly, my hands stopped. Because, at that moment, I remembered. I remembered why this was wrong, why I wasn't allowed to do this, why my hands shouldn't be here, why he shouldn't be here. Because we were best friends, for that of almost three years. Because it will change literally everything. Because he loved someone. Someone that wasn't me.

But then that moment passed. That next moment brought the realization, that I really didn't care. I remembered everything we had survived together. How he would have stopped me by now, if he had really wanted to. Then I let it all fall again, into the water, into the rain, into the tears of the past. All of it, into this moment. Into now.

We both felt like screaming at the world. So, that's what we were going to do.

The horror that line brought me when I finished the song. They're lying to her. They're giving her the crown telling her it's hers now. They're not telling her the crown is stained with the blood, sweat and tears of her predecessors. They're not telling her it's gonna be stained by her own blood in the future. They are setting her up for her glory and for her end. The future is bright and dazzling only with the stage lights on.

The fact that Taylor Swift, a singular person with a record label, can not only receive permission to film a MOVIE during a STRIKE but can do so BECAUSE SHE AGREED WITH STRIKE DEMANDS and film studios cannot is mindblowing to me.

I love those posts that are like "I wish *insert wistful tswift lyrics*" not because I have many romantic wishes, but because I'm pretty sure no one other than swifties can tell the post is about taylor swift. A while ago I rebloged one of those a few months back and my non-swiftie (like. at all) mutual rebloged it. The fool (affectionate)
