DIONYSOS

Another one of Artemis' only remaining allies, which is fairly unexpected considering how often the two end up squabbling. He is the pinnacle of all things hedonistic: wine, festivity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, the list goes on... Dionysos conducts himself accordingly, of course.

He has always spent time on earth with the mortals—or nymphs and satyrs, maenads, whomever desired to follow his whims. He has had several cults dedicated to him—and still does—although now they have taken on a much more modern form.

Nowadays, Dionysos can either be found at raves or college house parties. He is well known amongst frat houses for distributing alcohol and drugs freely, and for always having a banging party. Sometimes, he may even be located in Las Vegas, a resident party and gambling hub, or in Germany, where there is a very popular rave and techno scene.

Along with all of this, Dionysos has taken on responsibility for the creation of the new Oracle of Delphi—the Pythia. This was more or less accidental, as normally Apollon would be the one spearheading something like that, but since he has gone rogue things have become rather dire. Of course, Dionysos has absolutely no idea what to do now that there is a modern Oracle walking around. He accidentally keeps gifting her with sudden visions of Pina Coladas with twisty straws and umbrellas.

Worse, the Oracle is one of Artemis' former huntresses that inadvertently disappeared a few centuries ago. The Pythia has no recollection of her past life since being gifted the power of foresight. Artemis has yet to speak to Dionysos on this subject, but it does have to be addressed very soon.

Dionysos appears as a slim, fairly effeminate man, ambiguous in age and sexuality but ready to party nonetheless.

How do you feel about Percy Jackson adaption/& Who would you cast for gods or goddesses in a Movie?

i'll answer this in two parts: obviously i can't dictate whether someone likes percy jackson or not but im not a fan because of how the book series has somehow convinced people that Greek Myths occurred in a way in the book or they say that this god was a terrible person (because remember people, gods are above animals and humans so they don't adhere to morality the same way we do)

part 2: I've done this before and some of my choices have changed since then, but my first thing is casting all Greeks, it's Greek culture so it will be Greek people.

Sooo in my endless pursuit of UB’s face-claims I found a picture of a Greek model Theo Theodoridis and decided that he would make a perfect Mason. The only problem? His green eyes and lack of freckles :( The completionist in me decided that it can be remedied by using Photoshop and here’s the result:

ok so I have to possible candidates for faceclaim for Adam. I think Marlon Brando could make a good Adam. He has that intense look I imagine Adam was born with.

I forgot to add the Mason’s faceclaim to my previous ask. Theo Theodoridis has rugged looks that equal to Mason, though his face isn’t as long as I imagine Mase.
