So basically Thenovl just confirmed that Games Untold will mainly focus on the Hawthorne brothers and their romantic interactions. DOES IT MEAN THAT WE WILL HAVE LYRA IN THIS BOOK TOO ?!? I DESPERATELY NEED some Grayson and lyra moments and if Lyra's there in the games untold I'm gonna go feral

OMG GUYS IDK IF IM JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS BUT ISTG PHONE GIRL IS DEFINITELYYYY GOING TO BE GRAYSONS LOVE INTEREST JUST LOOK AT THIS CLIP FROM AN INTERVIEW WITH THE NOVL AND JLB, LOOK WHAT JEN SAYS
SHE MADE A KIND OF “partially, sort of” FACE WHEN SAVANNAH (the interviewer from thenovl) ASKED IF THERE WAS GONNA BE A LOVE INTEREST FOR GRAYSON IN THE BROTHERS HAWTHORNE BC PHONE GIRL ISNT REALLY A BIG CHARACTER IN THE BOOK, AND ONLY APPEARS LIKE 3 TIME ON THE PHONE WITH GRAYSON. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT SHE ALSO DOESNT HAVE A NAME AND ALL WE REALLY KNOW ABOUT HER IS WHAT HAPPENED TO HER FATHER AMD THAT HER FATHERS NAME IS THOMAS THOMAS, WHICH GRAYSON SAID WAS “probably a riddle” SO WE DONT EVEN REALLY KNOW HIS NAME EITHER, WHICH WOULD EXPLAIN WHY JLB KIND OF DID A SORT OF SHRUG FACE BC PHONE GIRLS NOT REALLY A “CHARACTER” IF YK WHAT I MEAN
“dont jump to conclusions” me:

✩🪶⚔️Review:
Black brings readers back to the world of Faerie with “The Stolen Heir,” her most magical release yet!
The novel is told from the perspective of Suren (Wren), the changeling queen who once ruled the Court of Teeth under her parent’s influence. I appreciate how Black is slow and deliberate in revealing the details surrounding the years of abuse that Wren suffered at the citadel. Layers of her character are peeled back in chapters written from the past, Black taking her time to familiarize readers with Wren’s deepest insecurities (that people will always view her as a monster) and motivations (to keep her human family safe).
Her character is complex and is made even more so by Oak Greenbriar’s sudden reappearance in her life. Through Suren’s perspective, the reader gains access to her memories of their shared past. We learn that she is hesitant to let Oak back into her life, but he slowly gains her trust, and in turn the reader’s, by showing glimpses of his true self. With time, he lets down his walls and proves that he is not the spoiled, playboy prince that Wren thought he was.
My favorite aspect of the novel was watching the love Wren and Oak felt for each other as children grow into something more as they set out on their quest. Their mutual pining truly tugs at the heartstrings and creates tension as the novel progresses.
Additionally, I enjoyed venturing beyond Elfhame and exploring the mortal lands where the courts of Faerie are located.
As always, Black’s lyrical writing is full of secrets, schemes, betrayal, and adventure. If I was not in clutches before, I am now! That jaw dropping ending will torture me until “The Prisoner’s Throne” is released.
