Ghost invades Alice's dreams (he's a demon/part demon) and gives her terrible nightmares that leave her so socially anxious she can barely go outside. At first he's only doing it as an experiment but somehow caught feelings for her. It takes a bit for Alice to trust him but they end up together. There's also a pretty big age difference: Ghost is somewhere in his 40s (I forget his exact age) and Alice is around 20ish I believe.

Jervis hypnotizes people & commits crimes and Jonny experiments on people (to further his research on fear). Jervis kidnaped Jonathan & was gonna do his whole hypnosis thing before its revealed that "WAIT A MINUTE — you're the person experimenting on people with fear?!" and they go from there.
