remember in s5 of sailor moon classic when chibi chibi was introduced at first and they didn't know where tf she came from and for a hot second it was definitely implied that she was usagi and seiya's kid from the future. bc that was absolutely insane

#like chibi chibi got super attached to seiya the way chibiusa was attached to mamoru #the parallels?? hello??#sailor moon is crazy cuz it literally revolves around usagi and mamoru shagging up no matter what EXCEPT for sailor moon stars classic #where they make a clear effort of depicting conflict in usagi and mamoru's relationship and more then once paint him in a very bad light #meanwhile she flirts w seiya and stuff and its cool #except seiya is a much better friend and treats usagi WAY better than mamoru #usagi thruout the show but especially in that season constantly feels belittled or inferior to mamoru bc of their differences in maturity #which is a whole nother thing #but seiya and usagi r like. actually the same age #and theyre friends!!! they like each other as ppl not as destined soulmates #they get silly together #and then they get rly big crushes on each other #srsly seiusa is the only romance that's tolerable in sm classic #even harumichi is like.... total classic and super important but it isnt rly... idk. i just feel like seiusa ticked all the boxes of a happ #healthy cute shojo romance #it's literally lesbian slice of life romance for 30 episodes or sum #then the finale and things r deadly serious #then mamoru is brought back in - i shit u not - THE LAST 5 MINS OF THE LAST EPISODE #just so we can end on a shot of them kissing #MAN WHO CARES #seiusa
