anyone well versed in the sims or electronics able to help with my sims game??? it’s just very glitchy. i was waiting until the pack came out and the sims team did updates but it’s still bad. i’ve taken my mods out, i’ve repaired the game two or three times, i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. my laptop thing says the drivers are fine. idk if it’s the game or my laptop. i did a video on tiktok about it so i can send the link to that so you can see what it looks like. i’d post on reddit since reddit seems to know everything but i don’t have enough karma

what is the one moment of proof or evidence that is undeniable to you? it’s hard to explain what i’m asking lol but the one thing that you’re holding onto that has you like - yes. they’re real. they’re together. maybe the one moment that when you were getting into them that made your jaw drop and make you believe completely, like you don’t think it could be explained away at all

I'm trying to go about this with my professional cap on and not as a kinda annoyed fan and there's must be a reason for the sudden increase in his interest as being perceived as straight. Why wait 10 years for asking for respect for his child, why didn't he ask for respect for his long term relationship with Eleanor but find it necessary to do it for a relationship that's been going for a couple of months.

No, because I can't stop thinking about the note. At first it just seems a little bit of last pettiness. But it like...sort of makes perfect sense when paired with the assumptions Buck's been making about Eddie throughout the season. Buck told him he's moving "like it's nothing" and Eddie has to say back that it's NOT nothing. Then we have Buck taking the 12 on the grief assessment at face value. He never actually asked. Only made assumptions. So, Eddie, who knows he was a little cruel in his delivery, but right in his message leaves behind a note that is purposefully vague. The blankets are folded, and he says he's at the airport. Now when Buck comes home, he's all "I thought you were in Texas" and Eddie goes on what seems to be his weird little joke about the letters and how he never said Texas and WHEN DID I SAY THAT BUCK? NO, THAT'S NOT WHAT THE NOTE SAID BUCK. And as soon as Buck actually verbally asks him what else he could be doing at the airport, Eddie is like "Okay. Good. Here is your prize in the form of me calling myself a dick who was mean to you and here's Chris." Because....the note was Eddie trying to hammer home the lesson that when Buck assumes things about Eddie he's missing out on the real thing. He wants Buck to ask him. He wants to tell him the truth. And it's a little harsh to have him stew all day thinking Eddie just left, but that's the point. Buck hurt his OWN feelings. Because he didn't ask! Eddie just wants to teach him that it's always just better to ask him! Now...I wonder what else Buck has been assuming about Eddie and their relationship this season....

one thing that i think is really interesting about buck and eddie's conflict and particularly their little not-fight at the end of the ep is that for literal years they've been using chris as a shield to talk about how they feel about each other. every declaration of trust or affection or whatever is spoken through christopher (there's no one in the world i trust with my son more than you. the will. etc etc) . but the thing about this time is that chris (by virtue of him being in texas) is the barrier. he's the thing effectively causing the conflict so they can't use him to hide behind. which means that almost for the first time ever we get them both actively vocalising what they mean to each other, irrespective of chris. i don't know what i'm gonna do without you. he knows how to stay, unlike some people. i'm having more trouble dealing with the idea of you not being around than i'd like to admit. i don't like it anymore than you do. like!!!!! they're admitting they don't want to be without each other!!!! they're admitting they don't want to be apart!!!!! and that is.....genuinely monumental when you consider how rarely they say it out loud (even if they show it in other ways). like the entire episode is basically just them both being irritable and upset bc they don't want to leave each other 😭😭😭

Hi I'm one of the Americans that transferred to Rednote as word of Tiktok shutdown got around. I just wanted to drop by and show everyone a comparison that is WILD to me.

These are all in Yuan, the local currency. A buck, two bucks, six bucks... that seems really nice.

And then you pop it in U.S dollars.

14 cents. 14 cents for food.

So seeing the difference there, I got curious and made a post asking the netizens how much they typically pay for things, and I asked for how much my meds would cost. These answers are eye opening.

Eleven Yuan.

A dollar and two quarters.

Without insurance, my meds are 400 bucks in U.S currency.

There's no excuses for this. No excuse for why anyone should have to live like this.

Remembering when I watched the tmr movies and thought to myself 'wow Thomas amd Newt were literally so in love with each other I can't imagine that the books make it even more obvious' then I read the books and immediately found out I was wrong and if you don't believe me here are a few examples of newtmas scenes in the books :
