“vickie!” eddie practically screams from his kitchen, rage coursing through him as he stares down at the tabloids spread out in front of him on the counter. “get in here! now!”
eddie’s had an issue with his rage lately. well. he’s had an issue with a lot of things, since he got famous, really. but that’s not his problem right now.
his problem is he’s looking down at image after image of himself on the covers of people and us weekly and entertainment tonight being dragged out of last night’s night club by his own security team with blood pouring from his nose. he looks angry. he looks crazed.
just then, a stranger walks into his kitchen.
“who the fuck are you?” he blurts out at the man, who’s wearing a dark green sweater vest over a white t-shirt and tortoise-shell glasses.
“i’m steve,” the weirdo stalker says, smiling brightly. he has surprisingly swoopy hair for an insane fan. “i’m your new assistant.”
“where’s vickie?” eddie asks, rubbing at the sore spot on his nose. thank god it’s not broken.
“you fired her,” steve tells him. “two days ago.”
“i fire her all the time.”
“ok, well… i guess this time it stuck,” steve shrugs. “chrissy hired me.”
“fucking chrissy,” eddie says under his breath, rolling his eyes. he pulls out his phone from the pocket of his sweatpants and speed dials chrissy. “chris, what the fuck?” he doesn’t even give her the chance to say hello.
“good morning, eddie. i’m doing really well, how are you?”
“not fucking well, that’s how i am!” eddie practically yells into the receiver. “what the fuck? did you see the pictures? and who the fuck is this guy in my house?”
“yes, eddie, i saw the pictures.” eddie can hear the eye roll in her voice. “we’re handling it. nancy’s already on it with the team. what was the other thing?”
eddie knows she’s fucking with him and that pisses him off even more. “who is this freak in my house wearing a goddamn sweater vest?!” he feels like a blood vessel in his eye is about to pop.
“hey,” steve protests softly from across the kitchen where he’s started to pull shit out of eddie’s fridge. he didn’t even know there was anything in that fridge.
“that’s not a very nice way to talk about your new assistant,” chrissy’s voice comes loud and clear through the phone.
“christina fucking cunningham, you know i have final say on all hiring decisions when it comes to my assistants.” he rubs at his sore nose again.
“you had final say on all hiring decisions until you fired vickie for the thirteenth time and she refused to come back, even with a three hundred percent raise. we’re going in a different direction now.” chrissy sounds entirely too pleased with herself.
“well, i fucking hate him,” eddie grumbles and watches steve to make sure he’s heard him. steve doesn’t even react, just continues doing whatever the fuck he’s doing with the frying pan he’d found in the cabinet.
“you don’t even know him, eddie. give him a chance. anyway, i have to go, i have brunch plans with my very beautiful, very intelligent, perfect fiancée,” chrissy tells him, gloating, before hanging up on him.
eddie wants desperately to throw his phone across the kitchen, but if he breaks this one that would be his fourth phone in three weeks and he couldn’t bear to have to ask this steve person to go buy him a new one. he settles for squeezing it in his hand until it creaks while taking several deep breaths through his nose.
“what are you doing?” he grits out.
“are you always this rude?” steve asks, ignoring his question.
“to weirdo freak strangers showing up in my house unannounced? yes.”
“it’s not unannounced, chrissy wrote it on your calendar.” steve gestures toward the paper calendar hanging on the side of the fridge where chrissy writes his major life events and which eddie mostly just ignores before sliding a plate full of food toward eddie.
“what is this?” eddie sneers.
“it’s an omelette with cheese and mushrooms,” steve replies, smiling. he’s always fucking smiling.
“i’m allergic to… omelettes,” eddie says, just to be a dick.
“no you’re not. you’re allergic to blueberries and dust.” steve doesn’t stop smiling pleasantly.
“did you get access to my medical records? that’s a violation of my… whatever rights.” eddie waves a hand through the air.
“no, i didn’t go look at your medical records, jesus. i’m not a stalker. chrissy told me when she hired me.”
“whatever. i still fucking hate you.”
“okay,” steve shrugs again. “eat your breakfast.”
eddie has every intention of leaving the kitchen, full plate of food and all, but. he is hungry.
so he eats.
and he’s pissed that it’s actually good.
~*~
eddie spends the rest of the day being a general nuisance to steve any time he tries to do his job. when steve answers the phone before handing it to eddie, eddie “accidentally” hangs up on whoever it is on the hand off & makes sure to blame his new assistant when the person finally calls back. when steve has to drive him to his meeting with nancy and the pr team, eddie tries to give him the wrong directions, but steve’s too smart for that. when steve has to do the grocery shopping, he makes steve go to the erewhon all the way across town during rush hour because the one down the street “just doesn’t have the same vibe, steve.”
and all the while, steve just does his job, still smiling, not getting angry at all even though it’s beyond obvious eddie’s being a little shit to him.
which honestly just pisses eddie off more than anything else today.
“here’s some aspirin,” steve says, placing two white pills on the coffee table in front of eddie, along with a mason jar of water. eddie, lounging on his big squishy couch, pulls the ice pack away from his nose, which has started throbbing again. “you didn’t have any glasses.” steve shrugs when he sees eddie’s arched eyebrow looking skeptically at the jar of water. “if you don’t need anything else, i’ll take off for the day.”
it’s past 8pm already, long after steve should have left for the day except that eddie had made him stay to organize his extensive tshirt collection by color, shade, and design before he could even think about going home. it was an emergency, after all.
“i’ll have to check the t-shirt closet first,” eddie replies, before swallowing the aspirin dry. steve shrugs again and rolls his eyes. eddie would say something about his blatant rudeness, but he’s too exhausted.
eddie pulls himself off the couch and makes his way down the hallway to his “t-shirt room.” it’s so stupid, but he has all this space and he’d started collecting the tshirts so long ago. they’re not worth anything, they’re just his wardrobe but… they remind him of wayne and the thrifting they used to do every saturday morning.
the organization eddie had been having steve do was entirely arbitrary. it’s not like eddie plans his outfits. he mostly just pulls whatever out of wherever, unless it’s an event and then he pays someone to do the deciding and dressing for him anyway.
but. steve’s organized the t-shirts by genre and subgenre and then by band alphabetically and finally color. more than eddie had even asked him to do.
eddie had come in here fully prepared to rip steve a new one, but even he can be shocked into appreciation.
steve notices eddie’s silence and grins.
“can i tell you something?” steve says pleasantly and then continues without even letting eddie respond to the question. “i know i look like a nice polite guy next door that moms totally love—it’s the sweater vests, i think.” steve plucks at his top. “and that’s true. i am a nice polite guy and moms do love me. i’m awesome.” his grin widens. “but i got kicked out of my parents house when i was 18 and i lived in my car for a while. i’ve been on my own for seven years. i made a life in LA out of nothing. so you can throw your little temper tantrums and tell me how much you hate me. you can make me go to the erewhon all the way across town and you can make me look incompetent to my colleagues. but i need this job. i’ve worked hard for this job. this job pays more than any other job i’ve ever had combined. and you’re hardly the biggest asshole i’ve ever met. so you can continue trying to make my life miserable—hell, i’ll even give you my dad’s number, you guys can swap ideas!” steve laughs at his own joke before turning serious for the first time all day. “but i’m not vickie. you won’t make me cry. you can’t fire me. i’m not going anywhere.” he claps his hands together. “anyway, i’m gonna take off, since i have plans with my actual friends. but hey, i’ll see you tomorrow, huh?” and he smiles again, giving eddie a small waggle of his fingers, before heading out through the door.
eddie’s still just standing there in the middle of his tshirt room when he hears the front door slam shut.

you don’t know how you got into this position. or, multiple positions. hot tears blurred your vision from clearly seeing the men in front of you. the men who had been watching you like you were prey the moment you stepped into the arena as a new social media intern, waiting for their chance to pounce on you.
[ ౨ৎ ˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 ]
“hey!” you stopped your steps as you heard a familiar voice call out just before you were about to head over to the seats to film some practice content.
luke, who you had met a few times, had skated up to the gate, a friendly smile on his face as he approached. “it’s y/n, right?” he asked and you nodded with a smile, most of the time players didn’t really care for the social media girls, simply answering their questions and going on about their day like you didn’t exist. hell, they probably wouldn’t have recognized you if they saw you walking on the street.
“so uh, feel free to say no,” he started, scratching the back of his neck. “i was having a little get together with some other players tonight, and some friends from other teams too,” you nodded as you listened intently, scared you might zone out from admiring his features.
“and i was wondering if maybe you’d like to join? some of the other social media girls are gonna be there from the other teams so i was thinking that maybe you could like, connect with them or something? just cause you’re new.” he offered with a cheeky smile and you nodded, seeming calm but inside you were freaking out a bit, it was such a perfect opportunity!
you could get so many tips from the other girls, learning things from their past experience to limit any stupid mistakes you might make while learning on your own.
“yeah! i’d love to!” he grinned at your response, “okay, awesome! how ‘bout after practice i’ll give you the details?”
[ ౨ৎ ˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩 ]
you took in a deep breath before you firmly knocked on the door of luke’s apartment, nervousness bubbled in your stomach as you waited. you were excited to meet the other girls, and make some possible new connections with anyone else. your hands fiddled with the hem of your skirt as you heard clattering and music on the other side.
the door swung open, revealing a grinning luke. you tried to hide your surprise when you saw him, usually you had either seen him in either hockey gear or in a suit. you thought that it was refreshing to see him in something so laid back, a simple tshirt and jeans matched with a backwards cap that pushed his curls nicely to the back and side of his head.
“hey y/n!” he stepped back to let you in. you returned the greeting as you stepped in as you scanned the apartment, and wow. he really downplayed on the ‘small get together’. the apartment was bustling with players of different teams chatting and drinking, yet you couldn’t spot any of the social media girls. hm, maybe they were running late.
luke noticed the way your shoulders dropped slightly in disappointment. “oh, yeah i’m sorry y/n.” he shook his head as he led you into the living room where some familiar faces were sitting. “the other girls said they couldn’t come anymore. last minute family emergencies and some illnesses or something.” he spoked and you simply nodded. “oh, that’s too bad.” you responded, it was too bad. but you looked on the brighter side of things, you would get to know the players in a more candid setting, even starting some new friendships.
“hey guys, y/n came.” luke introduced you to everyone and you waved shyly. sitting beside jack on the couch was trevor zegras and cole caufield, with quinn sitting on an arm chair just beside.
“hey y/n!” jack slapped his hands on his thighs as he stood up from his position on the couch. “it’s too bad the other girls couldn’t come, but we’re still gonna have fun, right?” he said and you nodded, cheeks slightly burning when he wrapped an arm around your shoulder. the greeting threw you off slightly, only having met him a handful of times
“what do you say we get you a drink, hm?” he offered and you nodded, following along, you didn’t want to be impolite. you’d have one drink to settle your nerves before getting to know the players.
you didn’t notice the devilish grin jack shot luke as he placed a hand on the small of your back, guiding you into the kitchen.
the night was going pretty smoothly, you had spent most of your time with the five guys you had initially been introduced with. you talked about your major for a bit, why you wanted to go into sports marketing, a bit about your personal life.
you went to take a sip of your drink as you listened to quinn talk about, well you weren't really sure what, but you had noticed your cup was empty. luke peered over, “oh, i can refill that for you.” he reached out his hand and you smiled, “sure, maybe just a soda, please?” he nodded. you don’t know how many times that night luke got up to get you another soda, but you didn’t complain. he was being a good host and you didn’t want to be rude.
“so what does your boyfriend think of you working in sports marketing?” cole smiled, taking a sip of his drink. you shook your head and chuckled in slight embarrassment, “oh, i don’t have a boyfriend.”
“really? but you’re so pretty?” trevor hummed from beside you. he had his arm draped behind you on the couch, and he reached up to twirl a strand of your hair as you blushed fifty shades of red.
you didn’t know how to respond to the compliment, squeaking out a quiet ‘thank you.’
the room started to get hot, maybe from embarrassment, maybe from the amount of bodies crowded into one space.
“hey, you okay?” quinn asked, noticing the way you were playing with the collar of your cardigan, trying to loosen it’s grip on your neck.
“uh, yeah sorry. just feeling a bit weird.” you gave him a tight lipped smile, you didn’t want to ruin the night, you had worked so hard to get where you are today and you didn’t want to ruin any of your newly made friendships with the players.
“hey it’s okay,” jack moved a few strands of hair away from your face, an expression of false concern taking over his features. “why don’t you lay down in luke's room for a bit while we call it a night?” he offered and you shook your head, “i don’t want to ruin your night.” he smiled at your pout, “don’t worry ‘bout it, luke will show you the way.”
and so luke led you to his room, letting you lean your weight onto his arm as he guided you.
“just sit down m’kay?” you nodded and plopped on the bed, feeling a weird warmth spread throughout your body. were you catching a fever? was it pms? you had never felt this feeling before. “they’ll tell everyone to go home.” he stroked your hair, letting you lean onto his shoulder.
quinn walked into the room, with jack, trevor and cole following right behind. “you okay y/n?” quinn asked as he took a seat next to you, pressing the back of his hand to your forehead. “you’re getting hot, why don’t you take your sweater off?” you nodded and let him unbutton your cardigan, peeling off the fabric and letting his cold hands graze your skin.
“why don’t you stay over tonight?” luke murmured as his eyes fell to your cleavage once your cardigan was taken off.
“yeah, we don’t want you out driving like this.” trevor kneeled in front of you, examining your face as the boys nodded in agreement.
was this inappropriate? staying over at luke’s apartment? you were just the social media girl, you didn’t want it to seem like you had taken this job just to get closer to the players. then again, maybe they were right. it wasn’t safe for a young woman to head home alone in an uber so late at night.
“just let us take care of you baby, okay?” luke pushed your hair to the side as he whispered into your ear, letting his lips trail down to your neck where he placed a small kiss. you shivered at the touch, feeling your butterflies in your stomach. “o-okay…” you sighed when he pressed another kiss onto your shoulder.
“you feeling hot? why don’t we take off the rest of your clothes, hm?” quinn’s fingers toyed with the strap of your tank top. “is…is this weird?” you looked up at him with doe eyes, tears barely forming. he gave you an endearing smile, admiring how cute you looked. “no, we’re all friends here, just wanna take care of you.” he said and you nodded.
quinn carefully helped you out of your tank top and skirt, revealing your lace bra and panties which you tried to cover up in embarrassment. you felt the bed dip behind you, jack and cole approaching on the situation.
you felt like prey underneath their gazes, their eyes burning over your exposed flesh like they were getting ready to devour you, their mouths practically watering
“so pretty…” cole's voice was barely above a whisper as he watched they way trevor traced his fingers closer and closer to your core.
this was extremely wrong, it was dirty. yet you couldn’t help but feel your panties get damper at their ministrations.
trevor looked up at you, tilting his head with a friendly smile, “gonna let us use you, pretty girl?” as he gently pushed open your thighs and you gave him a dazed nod, your response nearly coming out as a whimper, “yes.” you knew what they were doing, you knew that this was extremely perverted and wrong, but you were too far gone.
your lips parted in a soft gasp as you felt his fingers trace over your cunt overtop of your pink panties. you felt so many hands on you, groping at your breasts through your bra, slender hands pulling your thighs open just a bit further.
trevor pushed your panties to the side, toying with your slick before pushing in a single finger, looking up for your reaction. you whimpered, leaning back onto cole’s chest while he placed a small kiss on your temple.
trevor slowly pumped his finger, your arousal growing with the overwhelming amount of stimulation you were receiving from everyone. “so tight…” he mumbled as he stared with amazement before forcing a second and soon third finger. he pumped his digits in and out, earning moans from you that felt like music to their ears. from behind you, jack reached around to toy with your clit, bringing you closer and closer to your orgasm.
tears threatened to fall as you felt the heat pool in your lower stomach, “m…m gonna cum..” you whined, body fighting the way cole hand you down as you squirmed.
“go on baby, it’s okay.” quinn licked at your ear and that was all it took for you to snap, your first orgasm of the night washing over you with an intensity you had never felt before.
“fuck..” luke’s mouth dropped open as he watched your release squirt out onto trevor's tattooed arm, his fingers practically jackhammering into you as he pulled every moan he could from you until you were breathless.
everything felt hazy as they lied you down, they took their time taking off the only fabric that you had left, leaving you fully exposed and vulnerable. you heard some rummaging around but stayed focused on catching your breath.
you dazily watch jack as he climbed on top of you, trailing comforting kisses from your stomach up to your neck. “you okay with this?” he asked as he stroked his cock from below you, positioning it at your fluttering entrance. you nodded frantically and he smirked, “‘course you are.” you felt your stomach drop at the mockery in his voice, but you didn’t have much time to think about it before he pushed into you, taking all the air from your lungs. “fuck baby,” he groaned, letting himself sink fully, tears pricked at your eyes, threatening to fall at the intense stretch.
he didn’t give you time to adjust as he began thrusting into you with fervor, lifting your legs and pressing them to your chest. his fingers dug into your thighs and he pushed them down, leaving bruises onto your delicate skin. “you’re so dirty, y/n.” he grinned from above you and you felt the tears fall, which he quickly kissed away. you could tell he was about to cum when his thrusts became harsher, his cock kissing at your cervix as he let out deep groans.
his gaze flickered from the way your pussy sucked him in, up to your face, cheeks red and stained with tears as you watched him with hooded eyes. “fuckkk,” he breathed out, letting himself shoot his load into you, hips stuttering as he did so.
you let out a whine when he pulled out, feeling his cum drip out of your hole and down to your ass. you don’t even notice when he had switched positions with trevor and cole, the two boys admiring your fucked out expression before taking their turn with you.
“such a pretty little whore.” trevor smiled at you sweetly, a contrast to his degrading words. he flipped you onto your stomach with ease, lifting your hips up so that your ass was flush with his pelvis.
cole positioned himself in front of you, and you knew what he wanted. you stuck your tongue out, looking up at him with doe eyes and he swore he could’ve cum just from the sight. he slapped his cock over your tongue as trevor spread your ass cheeks from behind, getting a better view of your swollen cunt before he lined himself up with your already leaking hole.
you moaned around cole’s cock as trevor thrusted into you, the vibrations sending instant pleasure throughout his body. you steadied yourself by placing your hands on his thick thighs, letting your nails dig into his skin as he let out the prettiest whines.
you let out a squeal when trevor slapped your ass, quickly smoothing his hand over the red mark to soothe the pain. “so filthy,” it didn’t take them long before they came, shooting their loads from both ends.
you had no choice but to swallow cole’s cum when he pushed your head down all the way, nose to pelvis as his body shook in pleasure.
he cupped your face with one hand, stroking your cheek with his thumb as he thanked you, leaving your heart fluttering. trevor placed a kiss onto your back before the two of them moved away, letting quinn take over.
quinn’s eyes scanned you with a look of disapproval and pity. “so messy, baby.” you pouted at his words, he was right though. you had cum and spit leaking at the corner of your mouth, your hair was tousled and your cunt was already stuffed full. he grabbed your tank top that was thrown onto the bed earlier and quickly cleaned you up.
“there we go.” he smiled softly before leaning down to give you a proper kiss on this lips and your eyes fluttered closed, your hands reaching up to tangle themselves in his hair. he trailed his kiss from your mouth down to your breasts, licking and sucking at the reddening skin. “poor baby,” he murmured, “didn’t even get to cum again, hm? it’s okay though, i’m gonna take proper care of you.” he said, a slight dig to the men who had previously used you without any regard for your own pleasure.
he laid you down, dipping his middle finger between your folds, chuckling at the way your hole fluttered, clenching around nothing. “i’ll take care of you.” he soon replaced his finger with his aching cock, pushing into you gently as he hushed your whimpers with a kiss.
“doing so good for us, aren’t you baby?” his hand trailed down to lazily massage at your neglected clit. “q-quinn…” your nails scratched at his back, leaving bright red marks and he hissed at the pleasurable pain, nipping at your collarbones. “it’s okay, i got you baby.” he rocked into you, never ceasing his actions on your clit and you felt your eyes roll to the back of your head as his thrusts deepened. “you gonna cum for me, pretty girl? huh? gonna put on a show on for them?” you whined at his words, squirming underneath him as the heat pooled in your belly.
“k-kiss..” you mumbled and he smiled, “yeah, i got you.” he leaned down and you kissed him deeply, moving your hips up to meet him halfway. “go on baby, let go.” he whispered against your lips when he felt your grip on him tighten, your pussy spasming as you came, him following soon after, pulling out to cum onto the soft skin of your stomach.
your vision was blurry as you came down from your orgasm, body on fire from the consistent stimulation with no break. you felt quinn pepper kiss over your face, “you did so good baby.” he placed on last kiss on your lips, savoring the sweet taste of your saliva, “it’s okay, it’s almost over.” he reassured and you hummed in confusion, before you saw luke standing at the edge of the bed.
you didn’t know if you had it in you, and god he looked big standing there. “luke…” you whimpered as you tried crawling back up the bed, but he grabbed your ankles and pulled you back down.
“m’sorry baby,” he pouted, “you’re gonna let me fuck you, right? it’s only fair. i’m the one who thought you were pretty first.” he said like it was a competition before pushing himself in, your eyes going wide as your body tensed. even though you had been fucked plenty that night, none of them could’ve possible compared to the way luke’s cock was stretching you out.
hot tears fell down your cheeks as he thrusted into you, letting one of his large hands press down onto your lower stomach to feel the bulge of his cock as he fucked you. “too big luke!” you cried, thrashing underneath him and leaned down closer, his cock hitting deeper. “you can take it, know you can.” he grunted, his tip brushing against your cervix and you gripped onto his biceps like he was your lifeline. “luke! s’too much!” you cried and he licked as the salty tears from your face.
he didn’t let up his pace, continuing to fuck into you like he had been dreaming of since he first laid eyes on you at the rink. “my pretty girl...” he cooed as your screams of overstimulation echoed in his ears as he reached places inside you no one had ever reached before.
it wasn’t long before yet another load was dumped into you, your eyes lolling to the back of your head as you let out a silent scream while you came for the final time that night.
the room fell silent, the boys entranced at your fucked out expression, limp on the bed with your skin decorated with their cum.
“fuck, wait till nico sees this.” jack was quick to pull out his phone, snapping a picture of you.
“there’s no leaving us now, baby doll.”

The pink glint of Rafe's flashlight illuminated the already dim room, casting dancing shadows across the walls. Two-year-old Nora, a whirlwind of untamed dark blonde curls and boundless energy, squealed with laughter as Rafe chased her around the room, his long limbs awkwardly navigating the obstacle course of scattered toys.
"Come here, you little monster!" Rafe chuckled, his voice laced with playful exasperation. He lunged, scooping Nora up in his arms and showering her with kisses, making her giggle even harder.
"Again! Again!" Nora shrieked, wriggling in his grasp.
"Okay, okay," Rafe said, lowering her to the ground. "But just one more round, then it's bedtime."
Nora nodded, her doe eyes eyes sparkling with mischief, and took off running again, her tiny feet padding softly against the carpet. Rafe followed, his laughter echoing through the apartment.
Meanwhile, y/n watched the scene unfold from the doorway, a smile tugging at her lips. It was a familiar routine – the nightly stalling tactics, the exuberant playtime that always seemed to erupt just as bedtime approached. But beneath the amusement, a hint of weariness flickered within her. She knew she had to intervene soon, before things escalated further.
"Alright, you two," she said, stepping into the room, her voice firm but gentle. "That's enough playing. It's time for bed."
Nora let out a dramatic wail, flinging herself onto the floor in a fit of mock despair. "No bed! I wanna play!"
Rafe, still grinning, sauntered over to y/n, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her into a hug. "Come on, y/n," he whispered, nuzzling her neck. "Just a little longer? She's having so much fun."
"I know, but it's getting late," y/n replied, leaning into his embrace but gently pushing him away. "And you need to get some sleep too. You have that early meeting tomorrow, remember?"
Rafe groaned, running a hand through his already disheveled hair. "Ugh, don't remind me."
He turned his attention back to Nora, who was still sprawled on the floor, her cries gradually subsiding into whimpers. He knelt beside her, gently stroking her hair.
"Hey, sweetie," he said softly. "It's okay. We can play again tomorrow. But right now, it's time to go night-night."
Nora sniffled, looking up at him with her big brown tear-filled eyes. "But I'm not tired," she mumbled.
"I know, but your eyes are getting heavy," Rafe said, pointing to her fluttering eyelids. "And you know what happens when you don't get enough sleep? You get cranky and grumpy."
Nora pondered this for a moment, her bottom lip trembling. Finally, she nodded, holding out her arms to Rafe. He scooped her up, burying his face in her soft curls.
"That's my girl," he murmured. He carried her over to her bed, tucking her under the covers. Y/n followed behind, dimming the lights and placing a kiss on Nora's forehead.
"Goodnight, sweetie," she whispered. "I love you."
"Love you too, Mommy," Nora mumbled sleepily, her eyes already drifting closed.
Rafe sat on the edge of the bed, watching Nora drift off to sleep. He stroked her hair, a look of tenderness on his face. Y/n stood beside him, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"She's so precious," she murmured.
Rafe nodded, placing a gentle kiss on y/n's forehead. "Yeah, she is," he whispered. He stood up, pulling y/n into his arms. "Now, come on," he said, his voice low and husky. "Let's go to bed. We have a busy day tomorrow."
Y/n smiled, taking his hand. As they walked out of the room, she couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth and contentment. Despite the nightly chaos, these were the moments she cherished most – the moments when her little family was together, bathed in the soft glow of love and laughter. And as she drifted off to sleep later that night, she knew that even though bedtime could be a battle, the sweet moments that followed were always worth it.

Mingyu is an avalanche. Rushing, rolling, thundering over and through you until there’s nothing left but a glinting field of ice and silence. Nothing else matters - nothing else exists - in his wake.
“You better watch out, Mingyu,” Jeonghan says from the couch, and your blood runs as cold as that field of ice, because you know he’s about to start some shit. “Sunny got flowers from her lover today. That guy’s coming for your woman.”
You’re opening your mouth to reprimand him - tell him to shut up, or something - but Mingyu beats you to it.
“Sunny’s not mine,” he says simply.
All that ice evaporates in an instant like it was never there.
“My lover,” you echo with a frown, when you can speak again. “Don’t say it like that, you weirdo.”
“Well, isn’t he?” Jeonghan asks innocently.
You head for your bedroom with a roll of your eyes. “Goodnight, Jeonghan.”
“That means yes,” he sing-songs, and you slam your door shut.
Wonwoo’s voice floats through the door. “Who pissed off Sunshine?”
Mingyu responds with a growl, “Who do you think?”
–
You and Mingyu lay side by side in the grass, a late spring night unspooling with cricket song and a smattering of flickering stars above you. His arm touches yours and you can feel his chest shift as he breathes deeply.
You feel content - you feel infinite - you feel like one of those blinking stars. You feel like you could lay here next to him in silence and be happy until your light goes out, just like theirs.
“Mingyu,” you say, turning to look at him. The grass tickles your cheek.
He turns to look at you, too. It’s dark, here behind the university’s main hub, most of the lights on the far side of the building. Still, there’s enough light to see his eyes, steady on you, his gaze serious.
“Sunny Baby,” he responds, voice low, like he’s telling you a secret. “I love you.”
You startle awake, heart pounding, and you’re immediately furious.
“Fuck,” you hiss, punching your mattress once.
The pathetic truth is you dream about that night in undergrad all the time - you and Mingyu on one of the last nights before summer break, leaving a party together and laying in the grass behind the advising department building watching the constellations rotate above you.
The pathetic truth is the dream never follows the script, always turning the scene sideways, making it something different than what it was.
The pathetic truth is that Mingyu had been blacked out, more fucked up than you’d ever seen him, and you’d laid in the grass because you physically couldn’t keep him upright any further than that and you’d had to text Wonwoo to come help you.
You hadn’t said anything to Mingyu - at least not something meaningful. You might have said please don’t puke on me, or god, you weigh a ton, or how many jaegerbombs did you do?
He had said he loved you - had slurred it, eyes closed.
You had laughed, even though it had sent a dagger through your chest. “Okay, Romeo,” you’d teased, and checked your phone to see if Wonwoo was on his way to help.
“I do,” he’d insisted, one hand patting the grass next to him like he was trying to find you. “Sunny, I love you.”
You didn’t know how he meant it - still don’t know, to this day, because you don’t think he even remembers saying it and you’d been too afraid to bring it up.
What were you supposed to say? Hey, when you were blacked out last night, you said you love me… do you mean like… platonically… or…?
God. The idea of it is just as humiliating now, years later, as it had been in the weeks that followed that night. And though he’s said it regularly since then, he never said it like that, and you never pushed it.
Now, awake and furious and sad at three in the morning, you grab your phone and climb out of bed.
You know you shouldn’t. You know it’s only making this worse for you. But you make your way on light steps through the dark and silent apartment to Mingyu’s door and push it open.
Is it mithridatism, this thing you do? Microdosing on the poison so that a full dose won’t kill you? No, that isn’t right. A full dose of Mingyu won't kill you. It’s an absence of Mingyu that you need protection from.
You climb into his bed and poke at his calves with your toes until he grunts as he wakes. Then, as he gathers his senses, he rolls to look at you over his shoulder.
“Bad dream?” he asks, voice kind of breathy with sleep.
“Mhm.”
He rolls the rest of the way, lifts his arm so you can scoot a little closer. You breathe easier immediately. It makes no sense that the thing that hurts you is also the only thing that makes you feel better.
“Won’t your lover object to you getting in bed with me?” he asks, and you can hear the edge in his voice as clear as day.
You let out a single, wry ha. He’s got a point, but Daeyoung isn’t your boyfriend, you aren’t exclusive, and what he doesn’t know can’t hurt him.
“Nah,” you say easily. “I’m not his.”

"Are you sure you need no guards? I can lend you a quarter -no half- of my army."
"By the Zone no! I don't need it! You're acting like I'm going to war!"
"Well, love is a battle-"
"Stop! Stopit!" Danny hurriedly said, head falling into his hands. "It's just a date, dad! A date! With a human! Nothing more, nothing less! I don't need to show up like I'm going to war, that send the wrong message!"
"It is a show of strength!" Pariah Dark argued, embers burning at the tips of his hair with a -literal- fire in his eyes. He clenched his fist. "You will be able to show your future spouse that you have more than enough to protect them, and more than enough to win a war!"
"You tried to invade their world a while ago!" Danny pointed out, briefly taking the king aback. "I don't want them to think we're back for round 2!"
"Fear is-" The Ghost King was cut off, words choking down into his throat as a hand caressed his shoulder.
"My dear king, I know you are truly enthusiastic about our ling's spouse to be, and making a good impression." The Master of Time chuckled, bringing his head down level with Pariah's own. "But, perhaps, it would be best for the boy to take a more 'human' approach to things, unbound by the concept of war."
"Yes! Finally!" Danny threw his hands up as pariah Dark deflated. "Thank you! Now if that's all, I have to go!" He turned, willing a portal through the fabric of space before pausing, then turned back. "Does my hair look okay? My outfit isn't to gaudy right?"
"Yes, and yes." Clockwork said evenly and Danny nodded, before hurrying through the portal. "Ah, young love." He sighed out, before chuckling. "Now now, be not sad my dear king, don't you remember just how... Enthusiastic you were to claim my affection."
Pariah Dark's hair burst into a raging inferno.
------
"Sorry I'm late!" Danny said as he flew through the portal, coming to a quick stop mid-air before he flew past his date and took his seat. He let out a sigh. "Had to stop my dad from trying to lend me half of his army and stop a possible war from breaking out again, you know the works."
"Oh, uhhhhh." Billy Batson blinked slowly, a light blush on his face before he shook his head. "Yea! Totally!" He said, rubbing the back of his head with a sheepish grin.
Danny chuckled, placing an elbow on the table and resting his head in his hand with a grin. "Well, ain't you just a sight for the eyes. Got all dressed up for me, huh?"
"Yea!" Billy agreed, a beaming smile on his face. "I've never been on a date before, so I had to ask around for help, y'know? And you look good too!"
This time, it was Danny's turn to blush as he shifted his gaze away from the incarnation of the sun in front of him.

Goodbye World
BatFam Yan! × Neglected Magic Girl! Reader 《Platonic!》
Note: English is not my first language, sorry if there is any translation error
Pt: 2
"(NAME), PLEASE DON'T GO!"
the girl screamed trying to stop her, this couldn't be happening, this shouldn't have happened, I was supposed to have more time but your transformation accelerated
"I'm sorry, ######, but there's no time left... sorry"
"Please (Name)!, don't go..."
The girl felt tears falling from her face, she was supposed to save you but she made the same mistake again...
"Goodbye"
You gave her one last smile before falling to the ground and your body began to deform
"(NAMEE)!"
The girl screamed for the last time before your vision went dark, there was no more pain or suffering, you felt like your body was deformed but you couldn't feel or do anything it was like you only had your conscience left
The original (name) had disappeared forever, and there was nothing else to do
Or well, maybe there was something they could do
_
Bruce was sitting in front of the batcomputer trying to find any trace of you, but there was nothing, not even a trace, it was like you had vanished in the wind
He felt too bad since your last interaction with you, if he had known what would happen he would never have let you go from that hug
But it's just "would have" it was too late to regret but he could still fix things, he would find you and take you home with everyone else and finally have the family you always dreamed of
"We found nothing, not a single clue"
Richard entered the batcave feeling defeated Again, he went out with the whole family to look for some clue but there was nothing, they even tried to see if some villain had you kidnapped but there was no one who knew about you
"This is shit"
Jason said angrily while leaning against a wall, as much as he didn't want to admit it in a way it was his fault he always treated you badly and insulted you
You had too many reasons to leave the mansion and hate all of them, but if he was honest he hated the feeling that you had left, you are supposed to be a family and you should stay together
Wherever you are they will find you and when they do they will never let you escape from their hands again
"And Tim?"
Bruce asked without taking his eyes off the Batcomputer, he hated feeling like he couldn't be in control, not having control over you, like he always had
"He decided to stay a little longer to patrol and see if he found something"
Jason said putting his hands in his jacket pockets, wherever you are he just hoped you were okay although knowing how Gotham is, it would be a miracle if you were okay without a single scratch
"I'm leaving here"
Damian spoke as he walked angrily out of the batcave, a part of him was angry with you and with himself, he was angry with you because you abandoned him without even saying goodbye or giving him reasons, you decided to hide and not tell anyone
He hated having things hidden from him, and at the same time he was angry with himself for how he treated you in the past, but he had changed he swears! When you get back to the mansion she'll be the best sister you've ever seen
"Damian, wait-"
Richard tries to stop him but Damian just pushes him out of his way before yelling at him
"SHUT UP, I don't plan on staying here even a minute longer.(Name) is lost somewhere in this stupid city and all we do is stay here like idiots"
Damian said angrily as he quickly left the batcave
Richard just sighed, when Damian had something in mind there was nothing that would stop him from reaching it, not even his own family
_
Damian walked angrily down the hallway of the mansion cursing under his breath
He continued walking until a door caught his attention, it was half open and he could barely see the small light coming out
Curious, he decided to open it, he was surprised when he realized it was your room...
It was small but still well decorated, it bothered him a little that your room was so far away from the others
He didn't want to invade your privacy (if he wanted to) but the curiosity about your things was too great, he began looking in your drawers but only found unfinished crafts or clothes
It seemed strange to him that all your clothes were still in their place, if the theory that you ran away was true you should have brought some clothes, but everything was completely in order
As he continued looking he found a photo album, it seemed old since it had some dust
He removed the dust that it had and decided to open it, there was almost nothing interesting just photos of you, some from when you were little and others from your birthdays
But there was one that caught his attention, you were in a park with a girl, it seemed to him It was strange that you had left since you never left the mansion
He was also very bothered by the approach that girl had with (name), who did she think she was to touch her sister like that?
But if he was honest, in that photo you really looked happy...
You didn't have that forced happiness like in all the photos, in this one it was seen that you really felt happy with that strange girl
He put aside the album and went back to searching through your things to see if he could find something else
Some of your drawers were full of board games full of dust, he remembered that once you asked him to play one with you but he simply ignored you and said that you had time for children's games
A soft voice took him out of his thoughts
"What are you doing in (name)'s room?"
Cassadran asked, looking at Damian with doubt. She thought it was strange that he was in your room since she thought she was the only one besides Alfred who knew your room.
"Something that doesn't matter to you."
Damian answered abruptly as he continued searching through your drawers.
"You seem too worried about her to be going through her things without permission."
Cassadran spoke again. She thought it was strange that none of the family members were around the house, but she didn't pay much attention and decided to go to your room to greet you. But she was surprised when she found Damian searching through your things.
"So what? It doesn't matter now that (name) is missing. I don't think it will bother her. Besides, it's for research purposes."
Damian was getting tired of Cass's insistence, because out of nowhere he is so worried about his privacy. Were you two close?
"Missing?"
Cassadran repeated in surprise, that answer hit Cass hard, she never imagined it would really happen, were you able to leave the mansion? Although if she was honest you had reasons to leave this fucking place
"Yes, my sister is missing and apparently I'm the only one who cares about her and tries to find some clue, so go away you're just bothering me"
Damian let out a snort of annoyance before resuming his search through your things
"She's your sister now?"
That answer took Damian by surprise, what the hell was she referring to
"What..."
"She's your sister now?" Cass repeated again before speaking again "you always left her aside, well, everyone left them aside and I include myself but it seems hypocritical to me that you want to blame others when you are also guilty, you always look to blame others for your problems because you are an egocentric and selfish person who only thinks about himself, you don't care about her you just want to have a reason not to feel bad about yourself"
Those words left Damian speechless, he hated to admit it but she was right although he would never admit it out loud
He simply looked away and focused on continuing to search pretending as if Cassandra's words hadn't mattered to him
Cass turned around and left the room before giving Damian one last look
Deep down she hoped you were okay wherever you were, but if you were truly lost she was going to do whatever it took to find you, she wasn't going to allow herself to lose another important thing for her, not anymore
_
Tim was jumping from building to building trying to find some clue about you, but there was nothing. He had been investigating criminals, villains or gangs all night but no one knew anything about you.
At this point the guilt was drowning him, he felt like the worst brother in the world. How could he forget someone so important?
Most likely you are now in some dangerous place, alone and scared thinking that no one will go looking for you because you are not important enough for them.
But he will do everything possible to find you, I promise.
He decided to stop at the top of a tall building so he could rest. He felt the worst. He had been patrolling all over Gotham for more than 4 hours but had found nothing. At this point he felt like he would never find you. No...no, if he found you he should not lose hope. You were somewhere in this place...he just had to find out where.
He felt something fast approaching him. Before he could react correctly and dodge it, a supernatural force ended up throwing him against the fire escape of another building.
Shit... that hurt, he was sure he broke his back or some rib, that thing that pushed him had too much force, it was clear that it was not a criminal or villain, they were too fast and strong to be one
But before he could get up he saw how a black mass with a strange figure approached quickly
It was easily the size of a damn bus or bigger, whatever it was was not human, that black mass reminded him too much of someone, he felt that he knew that figure from somewhere
But before he could think that large figure ended up hitting him again
It seemed as if that thing had something personal with him like some kind of hatred or resentment
Tim tried with all his strength to recover from that last blow, he had to warn the others about this thing and to come quickly before this strange creature taken from a horror story finished him off
With his last strength he grabbed the communicator and sent a signal for help before that thing hit him again now with more force causing his body to hit a wall
It seems you already have your first victim in your hands, you were going to finish off all those who made you feel miserable and you were going to make them feel the same pain that they made you feel
The original (name) had already died, the only thing left was this creature full of resentment and hatred
You were going to destroy every person who stood in your way and if that meant having to destroy the city or the world you were going to do it
"MADOKA PLEASE DON'T GO" aahhh reference 😭🙏💀
Sorry if it's too short or something, I hope you enjoy this shitty chapter
You can leave me questions or anything about this AU, I'll be happy to answer them🙏

Can I please request Sirius with a single mama who happens to be a muggle? He would be such a good daddy 😭😭😭
[ sirius black x muggle!reader | fluff | in an alternate universe wherein there was no wizarding war | 3.1k words ]
note. well this got way longer than intended and yet for some reason still doesn’t feel enough??? anyways halfway through writing this i realized that jily is supposed to be 18 when they got married so for the sake of this fic let’s pretend that they’re in their late 20s hehehe,, hope you’ll like this one! 🫶🏻
Sirius got to meet you through Lily.
The meeting was unexpected, really. It was during the time James and Lily were preparing for the wedding, and Sirius, being the designated best man and all, was tasked to deliver some important items for the ceremony from the Evans home to the Potters.
He knocked on the front door, clad in his usual attire of faded jeans, black shirt, with a leather jacket worn around his shoulders. His motorbike was still running in the driveway, an indication that he wasn’t planning to stay long, but as soon as you opened the door and locked gazes with him, Sirius suddenly thought that perhaps it would be okay to hang around even for a few minutes or so.
He flashed a smile, a smile he knew turned up the charm and made his handsomeness look a bit devilish, and stepped a bit closer, his hands placing themselves on the front pockets of his pants. “I didn’t get the wrong address, did I?” he asked. “Although if I did, I don’t think I should be in the position to complain.” His smile transformed into an easy smirk.
You stared at him, analyzing him, taking in the sight of his dark tousled hair and the manner in which his piercing eyes looked back at you, before opening the door a bit wider. “I take it that you’re Sirius Black?”
“The very one. And you are?”
“____ ____,” you said your full name, extending a hand out for a handshake but when Sirius took it, he didn’t do what you were expecting him to do.
Instead, he brought it closer to his mouth, pressing a kiss on your knuckles. “Beautiful name for a beautiful girl,” he replied smoothly, prompting your face to feel a bit hot.
As you were about to utter a response, Lily came behind you and saw what was happening. She rolled her eyes and playfully shoved Sirius’ shoulder, causing him to drop your hand.
“What?” he asked, mock innocence on his features but he was already laughing.
“Don’t even think about it, Black,” she warned, though she too was chuckling. She then handed him the things he came for without delay. “____ is off limits.”
“Why? Is she taken?” he asked, glancing at you as if waiting for you to confirm it yourself.
“No,” Lily answered before you could (again), “but she’s my best friend.”
“And? I’m your fiancé’s best mate. Wouldn’t that technically make us meant to be?” He smirked, eyes flickering to you once more. “Don’t you agree, love? I reckon you’re the maid of honor too—my perfect match as the best man.”
You laughed, a soft melodic sound that he got momentarily mesmerized by. “Well, I see Lily was right about what she told me about you. You do seem like a menace.”
“But charming and handsome nonetheless?”
“Sirius,” Lily walked out of the threshold and began gently pushing him to the direction where the motorbike was parked, “go before I hex you,” she said. “Or worse, uninvite you to the wedding.”
“Alright, alright, I’ll behave.” He relented, waving a hand before heading to the vehicle and placing the fetched items in the compartment.
Before he revved the engine, preparing to leave, he gave you one last look which consisted of a rather heart-fluttering grin and a very flirtatious wink.
Lily turned to you as he sped off, already reading what was on your mind. “No,” she said, her tone final.
You laughed. “I didn’t even say anything!”
“You didn’t have to. It’s written all over your face.” She scoffed with a teasing smile, marching back inside the house and leaving you there, still staring at where Sirius rode away.
****
The next time Sirius got to see you, it was at the wedding itself.
It was a small ceremony. James’ parents were there, all happy and excited for this new chapter of their son’s life, and as for Lily’s family, only her parents came to attend.
Her sister, Petunia, still had an unprovoked dislike towards wizards, a feeling that apparently couldn’t be ignored even for one day in order to be part of her sole sister’s special day.
As for other attendees, aside from some friends they went to school with back at Hogwarts, there were quite a number of Muggle friends and relatives, mostly from Lily’s side. It was for that reason that the event felt… mundane, you could say, with the absence of magical decorations and whatnots—but in the best way possible, as it gave the whole affair a more intimate and solemn feel.
“Padfoot, you’re going to turn into a giraffe if you don’t stop craning your neck like that,” Remus retorted with a chuckle.
Sirius gave him a lopsided smirk, dropping the cigarette between his fingers and extinguishing it on the ground.
He was trying to search for you among the busy crowd, curious on where you might be. It wouldn’t take long before the entourage would be asked to take their positions and he would have the excuse of having your arm latched to his, the both of you ultimately walking across the aisle as the best man and maid of honor.
After a few more giraffe-like actions of trying to catch a glimpse of you, he finally saw you talking with Lily’s parents, a baby girl not more than three years old wearing an adorable dress carried in your arms. He didn’t think much of it, assumed that she was a flower girl, though he did notice a bit of similarities between your appearance and the little lady, such as the shape of your eyes and the color of your hair.
“Excuse me,” Sirius arrived just in time beside you as the Evans went off to greet a relative, “I believe that you’re my partner for the day?” he cheekily said.
His smile was directed to you at first, but it swiftly shifted to the toddler who you still had in your arms.
“This is Esther.” You introduced with a fond grin. “My lovely daughter.”
You watched as his eyebrows rose in surprise.
“Daughter?” he repeated, though the manner in which he said it had no malice. “Well, that explains the pretty eyes.” He chuckled before doing a courteous prince-like bow to Esther. “Pleasure to be of acquaintance, Ms. Esther.”
Esther giggled, hiding behind your hair in bashfulness, though still peaked as Sirius like she was initiating a prompt peek-a-boo game.
“Where’s this cute one’s dad?” he asked next. You could tell that he was attempting to sound nonchalant about it, as if the question wasn’t being asked to check if you were single or not again despite confirming it last time. It seemed like what he wanted to confirm this time was your current relationship with the father of your child.
You shrugged. “No idea. Probably off at someone else’s bed.”
“I see.” He laughed, sounding a bit too pleased.
When you eyes met again, your lips curved upwards as his eyes twinkled.
****
For the rest of the ceremony, you and Sirius shared conversations then and there.
You reckoned that without Lily’s focus on you, there was less chances of her reprimanding you if she saw you willingly involve yourself with the heartbreaker that is Sirius Black. You weren’t lying when you said that she had said several things about Sirius prior to your first meeting, all of which involved not letting your guard down and being seduced by his ‘bad boy charm’.
“He’s generally nice,” Lily told you. “As a friend, that is—I can’t say much as a significant other—but I do know that he made loads of girls cry and curse his name back then.”
And as Sirius made you laugh after one joke and another, you could understand why. He was the type of guy who knew what the ladies loved and used it to his advantage; the type who was aware of how good looking he was and yet acted as if he didn’t, this effortless aura surrounding him that pulled you in ever so naturally.
Whenever Esther was whisked away by a friend or any elderly couple that were enamored with the presence of a child, Sirius took it as an opportunity to level up his advances. He’d compliment you, look at you with a gaze that made you a bit weak in the knees, and spoke in a voice that was all velvety and smooth—giving you an even clearer picture that this definitely wasn’t the first time he went his way to woo a woman.
“Look at those two,” you said upon seeing Lily and James sway along the rhythm of the slow music, caught in their own world at the center of the dance floor, “I find it hilarious that he’s the lad she ended up marrying. Do you know how many times she complained about him whenever she came back from Hogwarts?”
Sirius snorted. “Well, in her defense, James was a bloody tosser. He followed her around, trying to get her to go with him for even one date.”
You hummed in agreement. “Yes, but I also heard that he was an arse, always messing with Severus.”
“Oh, you’re familiar with Snivellus?” He appeared amused for a second, daresay proud at the awful nickname—but then realization dawned unto him, and he shifted his expression to a more controlled and behaved one. “I mean, Severus, yes. Severus Snape—I didn’t know you knew him too.”
Your nose wrinkled.
Instead of answering his question, you tilted your head slightly to the side before uttering out what you have been itching to say since he began blatantly showing interest to you. “I know your reputation, Sirius,” you began, “and I’ll have you know that I have no time for funny business.”
“Great. Neither do I.”
“I have a daughter.”
“Yes, as you have introduced me to the little one earlier.”
“And does that not bother you? Or do you like knowing that you can have someone with a child wrapped around your finger?”
His features softened in an instant. “Love, I don’t know what you exactly heard from Lily, but I’ll tell you this. I won’t deny how much of a menace I’ve been when we were still studying, but it has also been a few years since we graduated. I’m not entirely the same lad as I was.”
You were skeptical. No matter how talking to him throughout the evening gave enough proof to support his case (he did prove that he was a man of substance and who knew how to lead a meaningful conversation), you were also wary of putting all your trust in him. After all, this wasn’t the first time that a man charmed you and made the implication that he was going to treat you the best, only to flee the moment you made it apparent that you needed him.
“Okay,” you said.
Sirius chuckled. “Okay? What’s that supposed to mean?”
“As it’s supposed to be.” You shrugged. “It’s a free country. You can do anything you want, as they say.”
****
It has been 11 months since Sirius and you became a couple officially.
Was Lily mad?
She was furious. She scolded you nonstop for days, saying how she didn’t lack in warning you about Sirius and that you should be careful about letting men in your life, especially since the last man you let in was not only an embarrassment, but someone who had made it apparent that not everyone can stay true to their promises.
She was right, of course. You weren’t naive and you for sure were smarter this time around. There was no moment that you ever made it easy for Sirius the second he declared his intentions with you, always being transparent of your feelings and whenever he did something that you didn’t like. Your mindset was always that if he were to give up because of your ‘pickiness’ or ‘unrealistic’ demands, then it would save you the time of investing your feelings yet again to the wrong person.
But Sirius was a different breed. He was persistent. He met each ridiculous request with ease and listened to every concern you addressed to him with commendable willingness to change. Though there were still moments wherein his inherent mischievousness jumped out, when his sharp tongue rolled out at the presence of others and you saw a side of him that you didn’t particularly like—at the end, Sirius knew when to apologize and how to show you that he wasn’t all talk in saying that he was ready to change for the better for you.
As for his relationship with Esther… well, you thought that was the most compelling thing about being with Sirius, just seeing him effortlessly take on the role of her father figure without being asked to.
“Oh, Merlin, you must be the most adorable little lady in the world, darling,” Sirius cooed at Esther as he adjusted the backpack worn behind her shoulders, dressed in light denim overalls with a white shirt underneath.
She was going on a trip with your brother, along with his wife and two kids, and was going to be picked up a few minutes from now. Sirius had insisted the night prior to sleeping at your place to help you pack Esther’s things, given how the trip was going to last three days, and when you woke up this morning to prepare breakfast and some snacks she could bring, saw that Sirius had already prepared it for you.
“I didn’t know you could cook,” you mused.
“I don’t.”
“Then how—” you cut yourself off at the reminder of him being like Lily, a wizard, and the sight of the smirk plastered on his face. “Right, right. Almost forgot about that one.”
“Sirius,” you heard your daughter chime while you checked her belongings, making sure that everything was set, “will you still be here when I get back?”
Sirius smoothed her hair. “Hm, that depends, love. You know I don’t actually live here, don’t you?” He teased her.
“But you’s always sleeping here!”
“Yes, because I like spending time with your mum.” He chuckled. “And you, of course. You can’t quite sleep without me reading you your favorite storybook.”
She nodded. “Tha’s ‘cause I likes it when you read it.”
“More than you like listening to Mummy?” You jumped in the conversation, crossing your arms in fake hurt. “I’m wounded, darling. Aren’t I supposed to be your favorite?”
Esther grinned rather sheepishly. “You’s still are, Mummy. But when Sirius reads me my storybooks, he makes the characters all come to life!”
Before you could process the implication of what she said, two loud honks from a vehicle outside announced your brother’s arrival and Sirius was quick to take advantage of the distraction, ushering you to greet your brother outside while he helped with bringing Esther’s things to the car.
Once all things were settled, you kissed Esther’s cheek goodbye, a wet smooch that she giggled to, and said your farewells to your brother, his wife, and your two nieces that you hugged tightly and gave sweet kisses to as well before you stepped back in the driveway, waving as they drove off.
You turned your heel around the second the car was far enough, looking at Sirius who was leaning casually on the door frame of the front door.
“What?” he asked, but you knew that he was already aware of what the look meant.
You reached him as you entered the small house. “Do you use magic whenever you’re reading books to Esther?”
“Me?”
“Yes, you.”
“No, absolutely not.”
You raised an eyebrow, in which Sirius finally grinned.
“Okay, maybe sometimes.” He yielded. “But I promise, it’s all harmless. I just make the drawings move and run around her bedroom.”
“You…” a sigh escaped your mouth at his statement, “you make the drawings move? And, and run?”
He nodded. “It’s a simple charm, really. Makes Esther all excited too. Sometimes she even requests that I make them life sized so she could play with them.”
“Is that even allowed?”
“Well, she’s a kid, so I reckon she’d blame it to her imagination if she ever does remember this in the future.” He laughed.
You couldn’t help but laugh too, seeing his point yet still being in disbelief at the reality of all of this. You were never that weirded out by magic—in fact, you were amazed by the existence of it—but as someone who grew up with completely mundane stuff, you still couldn’t grasp its possibility and how casual Sirius was whenever the topic arose.
“You’re lucky she adores you, Sirius,” you told him, laughing and shaking your head. “If not, you wouldn’t have gotten yourself out of this one.”
The grin was still on his mouth as he gently hauled you closer to him. “What can I say? My charisma is universal.”
“I think I beg to differ.”
“Oh, are you saying that it doesn’t work on you? You haven’t fallen for my irresistible allure yet?”
“And if I were to say no?”
He kissed you, slow and lingering, enough to make your head spin a bit at how his lips moved with cognizance of what you liked. When he pulled back, he flashed you a rakish smirk that had you weak in the knees.
“Then I’ll have to change that. Can’t have Esther’s gorgeous mother not fall for me, can’t we?”
“You’ll survive.”
“No, I don’t think so.”
Another kiss. You grinned at how you could feel the intent behind the gesture.
“But seriously,” you pulled back momentarily to look him deeply in the eyes, “thanks for being there for Esther. I appreciate how you make her laugh and all. I can see that she likes being with you.”
He smiled in response. It was sincere and warm, a side of him that you have come to witness and love for the past months. “No need to thank me, darling. The kid isn’t hard to adore either. I’d say I’m honored to be part of her life.”
You continued to gaze at Sirius, his words making you feel fuzzy and gooey inside. You never thought you’d get to this point of yours and his relationship. You always assumed that he was going to get tired one way or another, or perhaps realize that dating a single mother was not for him, but here he was, smitten with you and treating your daughter as if she was his own.
“Fine, I’ll take it back.” You slyly pulled the collar of his shirt down so you could be the one to kiss him, Sirius smirking against you as you did. “Maybe I’m not immune to your irresistible allure after all.”
He laughed, the beat of his heart syncing with yours.

i decided on angst. 😞
fwb!vi x reader
summary: you and vi are friends with benefits. so why does it feel more than that now?
the sun sets low, dipping behind the horizon and colouring the world in warm hues. it throws oranges through the window, made into stripes by partially opened blinds, and it's all so...peaceful.
simple.
you stare out the window at the city beyond, take in the skyline as it slowly starts to shimmer. it's coming alive; just in time to greet those who favour the night's darkness. you wonder if you could be drawn out; your friends have been dying to take you to a classy restaurant downtown.
all dressed up in glittery dresses, sloping silhouettes, and too-high heels reveal pain-tinged regret far too late.
still, you could be tempted.
but.
"you okay, sweetness?" vi says from behind, her arms finding their home around your waist. she pulls you in until no space can possibly exist between your back and her chest. her chin hooks over your shoulder, perfectly like a puzzle piece, and it really makes you think.
"i'm fine," you assure her, resting your hands over hers, because you are fine. better than you've felt in days, perhaps. you can't really pinpoint why, but deep down, you know. you're just unsure if you want to accept the reason. "i was thinking about going out tonight. there's this new restaurant my friends want us to try. very fancy; pretty sure you need a reservation."
"aren't you friends with mel medara and caitlyn kiramman?" vi teases, and you can't help but laugh. you see what she's aiming for, and of course, you'd never have to make a reservation for anywhere high brow in the city.
"your point?" you ask, just because you can, and yelp when vi nips at your neck's curve. "hey—!"
vi shushes you. "easy, princess," she murmurs, and you fall at ease. only because you want to. not because vi's voice can command you to do almost anything, especially when it's still a little sleep-heavy, a little hoarse around the edges. "if you want to go out, we can. i was kinda thinking we'd stay in. order some food and watch something funny."
you try not to focus on how vi said we instead of you. you try not to focus on how that made your heart skip.
you keep your eyes on the darkening skyline, noting how the lights in the buildings shine like stars. your throat feels dry; it almost hurts to swallow. there's so much running through your mind right now, so much that makes you want to turn around and go:
this isn't a part of the deal.
this isn't supposed to happen.
all of this is dangerously verging into a—
"i'd like that," you say quietly, already dooming your heart to a tragic end. you take bitter solace in the smile vi presses into your skin, it almost makes you feel sick. but you don't pull away when she turns you in her arms. you don't draw back when she leans in to kiss you.
you don't place a hand on her chest and say what you should say.
we agreed this wouldn't be more than sex.
but vi's mouth is the sweetest nectar you've tasted, highly addictive and forever on your lips. she draws you in until you're back on the bed, underneath her as you surrender to her touch.
the skyline's fully alight by the time you're both sat on the couch, watching some sitcom. you're freshly showered, curled up together with forks digging into take-out cartons.
vi laughs loudly at something on the screen, eyes closed and mouth wide. she's got some sauce at the corner of her mouth, and she's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen and...
no.
you can't do this.

secret of us V - joe burrow
summary you’ve always been joe’s little secret, but secrets have a way of slipping through cracks — especially when love refuses to stay hidden anymore
content 18+, suggestive, angst, fluff
part four
It took three seconds to realize what was happening.
One. The blinding flash sears itself into your vision leaving a ghostly imprint behind. You blink, but the world doesn’t clear— it stays blurred, spinning out of focus. The air crackles, charged with something you feel coursing through every nerve.
Two. The shouted voices slice through the chaos as the pieces begin snapping into place: the cameras, the sudden crowd, the world collapsing in on itself. It feels like a nightmare where no matter how loud you scream, you can’t wake up.
Three. His hand grabs for yours, a grip of steel, and you hold on for dear life. He doesn’t say anything. He doesn’t need to. The pull of his touch says it all: Run.
It took fourteen seconds to get to the car.
One. Your feet falter on the pavement, his sudden tug jolting you forward. His pace is quick, his shoulders a solid wall against the growing noise.
Five. Your breath comes in short, uneven bursts. Your lungs burn, catching in your throat as you struggle to match his strides.
Nine. The car comes into view, his free hand fumbling for the keys in his pocket, every movement laced with urgency.
Fourteen. The door slams shut behind you, the echo rippling in the quiet. Inside, everything feels smaller, but no less suffocating.
It took eight seconds to leave the parking lot.
One. The click of the engine turning over, the low rumble vibrating through the silence.
Four. You don’t look at him. You can’t.
Six. The first motion forward, tires crunching against gravel as the car pulls away, leaving the chaos behind.
Eight. The world outside blurs, neon streaks against the darkness as the car slips into the flow of traffic.
And now?
It’s been four hundred and twelve seconds since that moment. Four hundred and twelve seconds since the flash of a camera shattered everything you thought you knew.
Is it possible for a single moment to stretch and shrink at the same time? To feel infinite and fleeting, slipping through your fingers even as it carves itself into your memory?
The question loops in your mind, circling endlessly, as the glow of the streetlights flashes across the car windows. The world outside feels unreal, hazy and distant. But here, everything feels vividly clear — painfully so. The rattle of the engine, the silence of the radio, the shallow sound of breathing in a space that feels impossibly heavy.
You replay it again and again: the savage flashes, freezing you in a way that feels too permanent, too exposed. His hand wrapped around yours, an unspoken promise that he wouldn’t let go.
The way his eyes locked onto you, saying everything his voice didn’t. And you followed without question. Because how could you not, when he looked at you like that? Like the earth itself might crack open if you didn’t.
But now, in the suffocating quiet of the car, another thought lingers in an unshakeable manner: What does it mean when someone holds onto you like that? Like letting go isn’t even an option.
It feels bigger than the moment, spilling over into the corners of your mind where other thoughts linger. You’ve spent so long trying to untangle this, trying to understand the pull he has on you. This quiet gravity that makes it impossible to stay away, even when you know you probably should.
It’s not just the way he looks at you, though that’s part of it. It’s the way he exists in your life, like he’s always been there, even when he hasn’t. Like he’s a constant you didn’t realize you needed until it was too late to imagine life without him.
Four hundred and twelve seconds, and you’re still replaying it. The light. His hand. The urgency of the moment.
Four hundred and twelve seconds since the moment everything changed.
Four hundred and twelve seconds, and you still don’t know what to say.
The Solution
You’ve always been good at overthinking. Analyzing every word, every look, every moment until it loses its shape entirely. Luckily, over the years, you’ve learned how to temper the thoughts, pushing them aside just enough so they don’t consume you. Born out of necessity, it became a skill that made sense of things that felt too big, too messy to hold.
But tonight, in the stillness of Joe’s car, that careful control feels fragile. Like the threads holding your thoughts together could snap at any moment. The events of the night are too big, too messy, and too loud to fit into those neat corners you’ve carved space for.
When he parks right outside your apartment, Joe doesn’t move at first, his body stiff, like he’s holding himself together by sheer force of will. One hand grips the gear stick so tightly his knuckles whiten, while the other rests on his knee, fingers twitching like they want to reach for something but don’t know what.
“I messed up,” he says suddenly, his voice breaking the silence between you.
You glance at him, startled. “What?”
“I messed up,” he repeats, quieter now, almost like he’s talking to himself. His eyes stay fixed on the empty parking lot ahead, the glow of the overhead lights casting shadows across his face. “I should’ve known better. I should’ve been smarter about all of this.”
You blink, the weight of his words hitting you all at once. “Joe, you couldn’t have—”
“Yes, I could’ve!” he snaps, voice loud enough to make you flinch. He exhales sharply, raising his hand and dragging it down his face. His palm scrapes over tired eyes before falling heavily to his lap. “This is my world. I know the risks, and I brought you into it anyway. Now look at what’s gonna happen.”
Your stomach twists at the guilt in his tone. “You didn’t do this,” you murmur, tone gentle. “Those people out there? That’s not on you. You didn’t ask for it, and neither did I, but that doesn’t mean it’s your fault.”
He lets out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. “It feels like my fault. Every single part of this feels like my fault.”
The vulnerability in his voice makes your chest ache. You want to reach for him, but something about the way he’s holding himself — so tightly wound, like he might snap, stops you. “Joe,” you say carefully. “You didn’t force me into this. I chose to be here. I chose you.”
His head snaps toward you, his eyes assessing you. For a moment, he looks like he doesn’t believe you, like he’s trying to find some hidden meaning in your words. “You don’t get it,” he says finally, voice barely above a whisper. “You don’t know what they’re going to say. What they’re going to do. They don’t care about you, about how this could hurt you. All they see is me, and anyone connected to me becomes fair game.”
“I don’t care about them,” you say firmly, cutting him off before he can spiral further. “I care about you. That’s all that matters to me.”
His jaw tightens, gaze dropping to where his hands rest in his lap. For a long moment, the only sound is the rattle of the car engine. When he finally speaks, his voice is raw, stripped of all the bravado he usually hides behind. “I’m scared.”
Your breath catches in your throat. “Of what?”
“Of ruining this,” he repeats for the tenth time, eyes lifting to meet yours. “Of ruining us. Of losing you because I can’t keep my shit together.”
You don’t know what to say, so you do the only thing you can think of.
Your hand finds his where it rests on his leg, fingers curling gently around his own. His skin is cold to the touch, and you wonder if he’ll pull away. But instead, his hand shifts under yours, fingers threading through yours like it’s instinct.
“You’re not going to lose me,” you say softly, holding his stare. “I’m here, Joe. I’m not going anywhere.”
His grip tightens, and the corner of his mouth twitches like he wants to smile but doesn’t quite know how. “You don’t know what you’re signing up for,” he murmurs, almost like he’s trying to warn you away.
“Maybe I don’t,” you reply. “But I’m still here. That has to count for something.”
He watches you for a long moment, the tension in his body finally starting to ebb. “It counts for everything,” he says quietly, the words feeling so honest, so simple, you almost forget to breathe.
The silence that follows feels different. It’s still quiet, but the weight of it seems to shift, no longer pressing on you but instead settling between you like something you both understand now. There’s a calmness to it, a fragile kind of peace that you’re not sure either of you knows how to hold onto yet.
Joe turns back to the windshield, his hand still wrapped around yours. His thumb brushes absently across your knuckles, a soft, repetitive motion that somehow feels like it’s grounding you just as much as it seems to be grounding him.
“I don’t deserve you,” he says, the words spoken so quietly you almost think you imagined them.
“You don’t get to decide that,” you say, a soft smile ghosting across your lips.
And then you feel it. Not the fear of being exposed, or the chaos of his world pulling at yours. Not the shadows of doubt or the suffocating weight of all the things that could go wrong.
No. It’s a gnawing sensation, the tender pull deep in your chest that feels like both comfort and pain, wrapping itself around you like something you can’t shake. The kind of feeling that tells you what you’ve been denying for too long: you love him.
You’re in love with Joe.
You don’t know when it started, or how. Could it have been the stolen glances, when his eyes found yours across crowded rooms and locked onto you just long enough to make your heart stutter? Those glances weren’t casual. They felt as if they carried unspoken confessions, like he was saying something meant only for you.
Maybe it was in the warmth of his hand on those occasions when he reached for you. The way his fingers laced through yours with an ease that left you breathless, as if his touch had always been destined to find yours.
Or maybe it was in the way he looked at you when he thought you weren’t watching, as though you were something he couldn’t figure out how to keep but couldn’t bear to lose. When he leaned in, just a little closer than necessary, it didn’t feel like coincidence — it felt like gravity, always pulling him toward you, like the universe itself had decided to play matchmaker. Like it knew he craved it, craved you.
Was it in the quiet nights, when the conversation faded but neither of you moved, and the world seemed to hold its breath around you? Those silences weren’t empty — no, they were full of all the things you were both too afraid to say.
Or maybe it was in the small, ordinary things: the way his laugh softened when you were the one making him smile, or the way his gaze held something deeper, like you weren’t just someone he cared for, you were someone he needed.
It’s possible that it wasn’t any one thing, but instead the way that being around him had shifted into something more, something inevitable. Like you had never truly been just friends.
Over the past couple of months, it had become harder to convince yourself otherwise. Harder to ignore the way your heartbeat kicked up when he was near. Every conversation seemed to carry more meaning than it used to, as if you were both inching toward something neither of you had planned but couldn’t stop.
So, maybe it wasn’t any one moment at all, but a slow unraveling, like the fragile thread holding you together had been pulled loose without you even noticing. Little by little, it unraveled until it finally snapped, and by the time you realized it, you were already falling.
And the fall wasn’t chaotic or sudden. It was quiet, so quiet you hadn’t even heard it coming until you hit the ground, breathless and entirely his.
With that realization comes the weight of everything you’ve tried to ignore.
You’d told yourself this wasn’t love. That it couldn’t be. That it was something temporary, something you could let go of when the time came. You tried to believe it and hold on to the idea that walking away would be easy.
But now, with his hand in yours and his faint declaration echoing in your mind: I love you — you know you were wrong. His words didn’t just sit there; they seeped in, filling the cracks you’d tried to patch over with excuses. Because it wasn’t just his touch that felt familiar; it was the way he laid his heart bare, leaving you no place to hide. They pulled you under.
You love him.
Terrifyingly.
Completely.
Irrevocably.
And the truth is, you don’t want to let him go.
Maybe it’s selfish. Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s the kind of thing that could ruin everything if you let it. But none of that matters anymore. Because in this moment — with his presence grounding you and the faintest trace of a smile tugging at his lips — it feels like enough.
For now, this is enough.
The Party
“It’s just something small,” Joe had said leaning against his kitchen counter. “Nothing big. Just a couple guys from the team, some of their girls, barely anyone.”
You’d hesitated then, rolling the strap of your top between your fingers. The thought of showing up somewhere in public with Joe still made your anxious thoughts skyrocket after what happened just a couple of days ago.
Safe to say, the media is ruthless.
Joe noticed your hesitation. His brows pulled together like he wanted to say something comforting, but wasn’t sure what. He didn’t push. He never did.
“Okay,” you agreed, nodding hopefully. Your voice was calmer than you felt. You pursed your lips, the realization settling in — this would be the first time you’d be in his world like this. You, him, and everyone else. Not hidden in the shadows but right there, where people could see you.
Would they wonder why Joe brought you? Would they piece together what the public had already started whispering about?
“It’s really no pressure,” Joe added, sagging his shoulders and leaning forward. “I just thought... it’d be nice to have you there.”
And just like that, the warmth in his voice melted through some of the fear knotted in your chest.
You managed a small smile. “I know.”
Now you’re here, standing just outside the front door of the house, the muffled thump of music vibrating through the walls. Joe is by your side, his hand resting lightly on your back as he opens the door.
“You good?” he asks, his voice low enough that only you can hear.
You nod, even though your heart feels like it might beat out of your chest. “Mhm. Just a little nervous.”
His hand stays for a moment longer, warm and steady. “You’ve got nothing to worry about,” he murmurs. With that, he guides you inside.
The space is sprawling, filled with the soft glow of dim lighting, conversation, and music that pulses just enough to set the mood without being overwhelming. The smell of food drifts faintly from the kitchen, and you spot a few familiar faces mingling in small clusters around the room.
A few heads turn when you walk in, mostly curious glances. Nothing too intense, but enough to make you hyper-aware of Joe’s hand still resting lightly on your back. You hope you look more put together than you feel.
“Relax,” Joe murmurs, his lips brushing close to your ear. “I‘m right here.”
Before you can respond, Ja’Marr’s voice booms from across the room.
“Joe! There’s our golden boy.” He weaves through the crowd with his usual grin and a drink in hand. “And hey — look who he brought with him! Superstar, it’s been a minute.”
You smile, the tension in your chest loosening just a little. “You’ve been busy, Ja’Marr. Don’t blame me.”
He chuckles, pulling you into a quick, friendly hug. “True, but you could’ve texted. You’ve got my number, right?”
Joe raises a brow, smirking. “Pretty sure she has mine. That’s enough.”
Ja’Marr snorts. “Possessive much? Don’t worry, I’m not trying to steal her.”
Before either of you can respond, someone calls Ja’Marr’s name, waving him over. He gives you both a knowing smile, like he’s in on a secret you haven’t figured out yet. “I’ll catch up with you two later.”
Joe chuckles under his breath, leaning down so only you can hear. “Ignore him,” he mutters.
He guides you through the room, his chest brushing lightly against your back as you weave through groups of people. The hum of conversation and music blurs around you like static. Your first few conversations are polite but brief — quick introductions and names you probably won’t remember tomorrow.
As Joe leads you to the bar setup, you glance up at him. He seems relaxed, like he’s done this a million times, but you know better. You know how much he hates public interactions like this: the noise, the small talk — but somehow, he’s making it look effortless. He catches you watching him.
“You good?” he asks, voice soft.
You’re about to answer when someone stumbles into you, a guy neither of you recognize, tipsy and barely aware of how he’s thrown you off balance. Joe’s arm is around you in an instant, pulling you firmly against him.
“Watch it, buddy,” Joe says, cocking his head slightly as the guy mumbles an apology and stumbles off.
“I’m fine,” you say, stifling a laugh as you steady yourself. “Thanks, Captain America.”
Joe’s lips twitch. “Don’t tempt me. You know I’d tackle someone if I had to.”
“Oh, I know.” You nudge him playfully. “But let’s avoid that, yeah?”
He chuckles, urging you forward. His fingers brush against yours briefly as he grabs two drinks and hands you one. The cool glass anchors you, but it’s Joe’s presence hat keeps you steady.
Just as you’re settling in, familiar faces approach. Sam and Jess greet you with warm smiles, Jess pulling you into a quick hug.
“There she is!” Jess says, her eyes lighting up. “I was wondering when we’d see you.”
You smile as Jess nods toward Joe. “I see you’ve got your shadow tonight.”
Joe raises a brow. “Shadow?”
Jess grins. “You heard me. Wherever you go, she goes.”
Sam chuckles, giving Joe a playful nudge. “Or maybe it’s the other way around. What’s the deal, Burrow? Can’t keep her out of your sight?”
Joe laughs, his ears turning the faintest shade of pink as he shakes his head. Sam claps him on the back, and the two slip into conversation about something you don’t quite catch. Jess links her arm through yours, leading you a few steps away for a quick catch-up.
“How have you been?” she asks.
The conversation flows easily, filled with updates on work, life, and everything in between. Before you know it, Sam sneaks up behind Jess, wrapping an arm around her waist.
“Mind if I steal my wife back?” he teases, swaying her slightly.
Jess giggles, leaning into him. “You’ve had me all night.”
“Still not enough,” Sam grins, pressing a kiss to her temple.
Jess rolls her eyes fondly as he tugs her back toward the crowd. “See you soon,” she calls with a wink.
You shake your head, laughing softly as you step back beside Joe.
“They’re always like that, huh?” you say.
Joe leans closer, his arm resting casually on the countertop, fingers brushing against yours again. “Yep. But they’re not wrong.”
You blink, a little caught off guard, and turn to face him. “About what?”
“Not wanting to let you out of my sight.”
Your breath catches, and before you can respond, he’s smiling again, the glint in his eyes softening the weight of his words.
“Come on,” he looks around. “Let’s find somewhere quieter.
Joe takes your hand, and you follow him as he weaves the two of you through the house, brushing past groups of people without a second glance. When the door to the back patio opens, the air shifts — cooler, quieter, an overall welcome contrast to the buzz inside. String lights hang above, casting a soft glow over the deck and the surrounding yard, like you’ve stepped into a secret corner of the night.
You settle onto the top step of the deck, knees tucked close together as you relax into the moment. Through the open patio door you spot a TV mounted inside, playing a replay of last night’s Thursday night game. The players’ jerseys blur across the screen as you watch them move, your thoughts drifting.
Joe catches you staring, the soft glow of the lights catching the faint smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. “What?”
“Nothing,” you say softly, a smile pulling at your lips. “It just reminded me of when you tried to teach me how to throw a perfect spiral.”
Joe groans dramatically, tossing his head back like he’s reliving the trauma. “How could I forget? You nailed me right in the chest with the ball.”
“You told me to ‘just throw it!’” you protest, laughing. “That’s on you.”
“Pretty sure I didn’t mean at me,” he says, grinning. “But I’ll admit, you’ve got a hell of an arm.”
Your laughter lingers, but it fades when his hand brushes against your knee. It’s a whisper of a touch, something casual that feels anything but. He doesn’t move, and neither do you.
“You know,” he says, his voice dropping slightly, playful but edged with something deeper, “I still think you did it on purpose.”
You tilt your head, smirking. “Maybe I did.”
“Yeah?” His fingers shift slightly, sliding up and beginning to trace soft circles against your leg. “What else haven’t you told me?”
His touch sends butterflies through you and the playful banter blurs into something else entirely. His thigh presses lightly against yours, and when you meet his gaze, it’s no longer just playful; it’s careful and maybe even hopeful, like he’s giving you a choice.
“I don’t know,” you murmur, your voice barely above a whisper. “Guess you’ll have to stick around to figure it out.”
His smile softens, but the weight of his gaze stays steady. The space between you shrinks without either of you moving an inch. The cool breeze drifts past, but it barely registers, not with him right next to you and warmth buzzing under your skin. His fingers continue their slow, absentminded movements on your knee, like he’s forgotten he’s even doing it.
The conversation flows easily from there. Soft teasing, shared memories, and those idling stares that neither of you bothers to hide. Every laugh, every small tease feels like a thread pulling you closer, wrapping you both in something that feels too easy to sink into. And neither of you seem in any hurry to pull away.
“Did you have a good time tonight?” he asks after a moment, his voice gentle.
“Yeah,” you say, meeting his gaze. “More than I expected to.”
“Good.” His eyes stare into yours for a moment longer before he finally exhales, fingers giving your leg a gentle squeeze before standing. “Come on,” he murmurs while holding a hand out and helping you to your feet. “Let’s head out.”
He doesn’t let go of your hand as he guides you back through the house, throwing your cups and brushing past a few familiar faces, exchanging quick goodbyes. By the time you step outside, the cool breeze feels harsher now, weaving through your clothes like a needle threading cold straight into your core. You shiver as it grips you.
Without a word, Joe notices and slips off his jacket, draping it over your shoulders. His hands hover over you as he gently guides your arms into the sleeves.
“You didn’t have to do that,” you murmur, clutching the jacket a little closer to you.
“I wanted to,” he replies simply, the sincerity in his voice winding itself into a part of you that feels untouched by him.
The walk to his car is quiet, but it’s not awkward. Your shoulders brush every few steps, and you can feel the energy of the night still there between you. When he pulls up to your building, he turns off the engine but doesn’t move right away. Instead, he sits there for a moment, looking over at you like he’s trying to commit this moment to memory.
When he walks you to your door, his pace is unhurried, like he’s savoring the final seconds of the night. His hand lays itself on your arm, his thumb brushing gently against the sleeve of his jacket. For a moment, you think he might lean in. You think you might.
But neither of you moves.
Instead, his gaze stays locked on yours. “Goodnight,” he says softly.
“Goodnight,” you whisper back, your voice barely audible.
He hesitates for just a second before stepping away, and you stay there, watching him until he disappears into his car. You know he won’t leave until he’s sure you’re safely inside.
Once you step through the door, you close it softly behind you, locking it before leaning back against the cool surface. Your eyes flutter shut, and you exhale, the weight of the night settling into you in the best way. The warmth of his jacket still clings to you, and his scent wraps around you like a second skin.
You pull the fabric tighter, holding on to him just a little longer.
The Tabloids
The first message hit just after sunrise, the soft buzz of your phone pulling you from the edges of sleep. You blinked against the dim morning light, reaching for it on the nightstand. Mia’s name lit up the screen, along with a message that made your stomach twist:
Mia: Just a heads up before you see it yourself. They’re at it again.
You sat up, that familiar itch beginning to form in the back of your mind. After what had happened a couple of days ago, you already knew what this was about. Your heart pounded as you opened your browser and typed “Joe Burrow” into the search bar.
The headlines popped up immediately, one after another, each one louder than the last:
“Late-Night Deckside Romance? Burrow Seen Getting Cozy With Unnamed Woman at Private Party.”
Your breath hitched as you tapped on the first link. The article loaded too quickly, giving you no time to prepare. The first photo hit like a punch to the gut — Joe sitting beside you on the patio steps, his body pressed beside yours, his hand resting on your leg. The glow of the string lights overhead made the scene look dreamy, romantic.
The whole atmosphere conveyed how special last night had felt to you, how much it had meant. But now, the intimate moment was all on display for strangers to analyze, twist, and pick apart. The quotes from the article stung:
“Looks like Burrow isn’t spending his off nights alone anymore. Sources say the pair spent most of the evening together, sharing quiet time away from the rest.”
“The way they leaned into each other was more than telling. If this wasn’t a date, it was certainly giving off the vibe of something more than casual acquaintances.”
Your fingers trembled as you scrolled down, stopping at the next photo: Joe placing his jacket over your shoulders, helping you into it. The caption beneath the image made you shake your head and scoff a quiet laugh:
“Chivalry isn’t dead! Our quarterback is seen wrapping his mystery date in his jacket, making sure she’s cozy before they leave together.”
You closed the tab for a moment, setting the phone down like it was burning you. But you couldn’t leave it alone. The curiosity gnawed at you, and soon enough, you were back, pulling up the photos from a few days ago — the ones from the night at the bar.
This time, you noticed they’d somehow gotten a picture you hadn’t seen before. There you were at the counter, Joe standing close behind you, his chest brushing against your back. The next image showed him leaning down, his mouth near your ear as you tilted your head to hear him better. Of course, they’d taken the image at face value and run with it:
“Mystery Girl Captures Burrow’s Full Attention During Night Out.”
And then came the comments, scattered beneath the articles like debris after a storm:
“She’s cute but doesn’t really stand out. Wonder how long this will last.”
“It’s always something new with him, isn’t it?”
“Hope she knows what she’s getting into.”
You sighed, your fingers hesitating over the screen before curiosity won again. You scrolled further until an all-too-familiar headline caught your attention, stopping you cold:
“Passion or Trouble? Burrow Spotted in Heated Alleyway Argument Before Leaving with Mystery Woman.”
Your stomach flipped, the weight of recognition sinking in immediately. You didn’t need to click on it to remember the photos. You’d already seen and memorized them — Joe’s hands clenched in fits, and your own posture rigid. The dim lighting casted sharp shadows over his tense expression, and most of all, the way the people had made his confession look like some explosive argument instead of what it truly was.
“An emotional confrontation unfolded last night as Burrow and his companion were spotted in what appeared to be a tense discussion before running off together.”
“Witnesses report raised voices and what seemed to be a heated but private moment between the pair before they left the scene hand in hand.”
The memory of those photos haunted you just as much as the fabricated narrative. What should have been a vulnerable, private moment had been twisted into public consumption, turned into something unrecognizable.
You quickly closed all the tabs, swiping them away, but your thumb hovered over the screen, debating whether to text Joe.
"Call me?" you typed, only to delete it a second later.
He had a game tomorrow. The last thing you wanted was to add to his stress. But the question wouldn’t leave you: Was he okay? Was he blaming himself for this, the way you knew he would?
You could picture him now, in the locker room, sitting on the wooden bench with his elbows on his knees, head bowed, running through every decision he’d made last night. Joe always carried things like this on his shoulders, even when it wasn’t his fault. He would blame himself for all the photos and the headlines and the comments. The way your privacy was slowly being stripped away.
You could almost hear his voice, laced with quiet self-critique: I shouldn’t have let this happen to you.
But it wasn’t just you. It was the both of you. And you knew that somewhere in the middle of his self-recrimination, he was probably wondering if you regretted last night — if you thought being with him wasn’t worth all of this.
With a sigh, you set the phone aside and leaned back into the pillows, exhaling a shaky breath. Everything with Joe had always felt so personal, something special between just the two of you. Now, right as things were finally falling into place, perfectly, like something out of a dream, it was all on display for everyone else to judge.
Your gaze drifted toward Joe’s jacket lying on the edge of your bed, the fabric still holding the faint scent of him — clean, warm, familiar. You closed your eyes, letting that comfort wrap around you like a protective shield.
Let them speculate. Let them write their stories.
Because at the end of the day, they didn’t know the truth. They didn’t know what it felt like to hear Joe confess everything he’d been holding back, his voice raw, his words slipping into your heart like they’d finally found the place they were always meant to be.
They didn’t know that this wasn’t just a headline for you. It wasn’t a scandal or some fleeting story.
It was real.
Let them talk.
Because when the noise faded, it would still be just you and Joe.
The Repercussions of Love
The sunlight streaming through your window had shifted, casting lazy Sunday afternoon shadows across your living room. You’d been texting Joe for most of the weekend, your usual conversations making it easy to forget — easy to pretend the world wasn’t watching.
Neither of you had brought up the new wave of photos and articles. You weren’t sure if it was an unspoken agreement to leave it alone or simply both of you not wanting to risk unsettling what had been building between you. Either way, it felt like the right choice.
But when your phone buzzed again, it wasn’t another text. It was Joe calling.
You answered on the second ring, his voice already lighting you up inside.
“Hey,” you greeted. “Aren’t you supposed to be in the zone or something right now?”
Joe’s laugh rang through, “talking to you is part of the zone.”
“Oh, so now I’m part of the pre-game ritual?” you teased, shifting to sit cross-legged on the bed.
“Obviously.”
You grinned, tucking your hair behind your ear. “Well, should I say something motivational? Or do you just want me to repeat random sports clichés until you feel inspired?”
He chuckled. “Let’s hear your best halftime speech.”
“Okay, ready?” You cleared your throat dramatically. “Gentlemen, you’ve got one chance. One opportunity. Don’t mess it up or—”
“Are you quoting Lose Yourself by Eminem right now?” Joe interrupted, his chuckle spilling like he couldn’t help himself.
"Don’t act like you’re above it. This is probably better than half the stuff on your pre-game playlist."
"Careful, that playlist is sacred."
"Yeah, sacred," you mocked. "To Bon Iver and whatever woodland creatures you’ve got singing backup. What’s next, a whale call remix?"
Joe laughed, “you’re never going to let that go, are you?"
"Absolutely not. The fact that you once tried to convince me that bird sounds help you win football games is too good."
"They do," he defended. "Bon Iver, nature, all of it — it’s part of the process."
"Sure. But if I hear even a hint of Eminem playing before today’s game, I’m calling you out."
"Fine," Joe said. "But only if you admit you’re rooting for me the whole time."
"Always," you replied, warmth settling into your chest.
"Next time I’ll swap Bon Iver for Eminem and see if that’s the secret sauce."
"Thank me when you win," you replied.
“Well, thanks, Coach. I feel unstoppable now.”
"Glad I could help," you said, resting your chin on your knee. "Anything good happen today, or was it just the usual pre-game chaos?"
Joe chuckled, the sound making you smile without even trying. "Depends on your definition of good. Marr tried stealing an extra smoothie and nearly took out an entire table in the process."
You held back a laugh, leaning into the cushions. "Let me guess, he made it look like it wasn’t his fault?"
"Of course. Said the table was unstable.”
"Did he at least get away with it?"
"Not exactly. He got caught but still managed to convince the kitchen staff into giving him another anyway."
"Smooth. You’ve got to admire the dedication."
"Or fear it," Joe joked. "One of these days, he’s going to bring down the whole cafeteria, and we’ll be the ones getting dragged for it."
"Wouldn’t be the first time, would it?" you teased.
The conversation flowed effortlessly, touching on nothing important but feeling like it meant everything. Eventually, the inevitable moment arrived when you both started winding down, neither of you wanting to be the first to say goodbye.
“Well,” you said softly, “you’ve got a game to win, Burrow.”
“And you’ve got the best seat in the house to watch me,” he teased.
“Don’t trip running out of the tunnel,” you teased back.
“I’ll try not to.” He fell silent for a beat. “Thanks for this.”
“Always.”
You both paused for a second before your ears perked up at the sudden rowdiness on the other line.
“Okay. Bye, Joe.”
“Bye, sweetheart.”
It should’ve ended there. The warmth in your chest spread faster than you could stop it, sending your thoughts into a flurry — scattering reason like leaves caught in the wind as the sound of his voice echoed, over and over, in your mind.
“Love you.”
The silence that followed was thick, pressing against your ears and drowning everything else out beneath the thunder of your pulse. Your hands trembled as you quickly ended the call, dropping your phone onto the couch like it had betrayed you.
Your hand flew to your mouth, muffling the panicked gasp as you collapsed back against the cushions. Heat flushed over you, spreading from your chest to your neck like you’d been doused in embarrassment.
What have you done?
You let out a silent scream, burying your face in a pillow.
You said it. You actually said it.
You groaned, rolling over and snatching your phone back. The screen lit up, Joe’s name still sitting at the top of your call log like a glowing reminder of your slip-up.
You couldn’t just leave it like that. You had to say something, didn’t you? Your fingers hovered over the keyboard as a dozen terrible options flashed through your head.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to—
No. Delete. That made it sound worse.
Ignore that.
Delete. Too dismissive.
You bit your lip, exhaling shakily, and rubbed your forehead. Just say something normal. Casual. Act like you didn’t just spill your soul into the phone.
You tried again:
Just wanted to clarify—
Delete.
But before you could type anything else, a message popped up.
Joe: I know.
Your breath caught in your chest. The typing bubble appeared quickly again, and then his next message came through:
Joe: Love you too.
The Confrontation
The knock at the door startled you, the sound cutting through the quiet hum of the evening. You set your mug of tea down with a soft clink against the coffee table, your heart skipping a beat. You were already ready to head to bed, you weren’t expecting anyone.
If anything, just waiting for a message from Joe. But, he was probably still tangled up in post-game obligations — press, interviews, team meetings.
Then again, after everything, you couldn’t help but wonder if tonight might be a little different.
You stumbled when you opened the door.
Joe stood on your doorstep, his hair still damp from the shower, a hoodie clinging to his broad frame and a bouquet of flowers in his hand. His smile was small, soft, the kind that sent your heart into a quiet free fall.
“Hi,” you breathed, stepping aside to let him in. The warmth of his presence immediately filled the room, chasing away the quiet solitude that had settled there.
“Hope I’m not interrupting,” he teased lightly, holding out the bouquet. “Didn’t feel like sticking around for the press tonight.”
You blinked, taking the flowers and inhaling their sweet scent before setting them gently on the table next to the door. “You skipped press?”
He shrugged, a low chuckle escaping him. “Told them I had somewhere more important to be.”
The words shouldn’t have hit you as hard as they did, but they did.
“Come on,” you whispered, lacing your fingers together and pulling him toward the couch.
You both collapsed onto the cushions, Joe letting out a quiet sigh as he leaned back and stretched his legs out. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy to sit down,” he murmured, eyes fluttering shut for a second before he opened them and found you already watching him.
“Didn’t think I’d see you this soon,” you spoke up.
“I couldn’t stay away."
“Congrats on the win,” you ignored his comment, your fingers absently toying with the edge of the throw pillow between you.
Joe smiled, that infamous, boyish grin making an appearance. “Thanks. Not exactly a nail-biter, though. It’s the Cardinals.”
You laughed. “Still, you played well.”
“Well... I had a great motivational speech before the game."
You shook your head, rolling your eyes. The room fell quiet, Joe’s arm moved to rest along the back of the couch, his fingers grazing your shoulder. You shifted closer, tucking yourself against him.
“How are you feeling?”
“Tired,” he admitted, resting his chin on the top of your head. “But good.”
You stayed like that for a minute longer, his arm resting over your shoulders, its weight growing heavier as his body softened beside you. His breaths deepened, each exhale brushing against the top of your head.
“Come on,” you stood up, gently taking his hand in yours. His eyelids fluttered open, heavy with exhaustion, but he followed without hesitation.
He made no move to pull his hand away as you led him down the hallway into your dimly lit bedroom, the quiet of the night wrapping around you like a comforting blanket.
You walked to the corner of the room, fingers brushing the lamp switch as you dimmed the light. When you turned around, Joe had already pulled his hoodie off with a lazy tug, the fabric lying in a heap on the floor. He stretched out on the bed, one arm resting behind his head, his gaze soft and steady as he watched you.
Without a word, he held his other arm open, inviting you closer. You slipped under the covers, and his arm easily found its place around your waist, pulling you into him. His warmth enveloped you instantly, your head settling on his chest, where his heartbeat thrummed steadily beneath your ear.
His fingers brushed against the soft fabric of your shirt before slipping just beneath it, resting gently in place without shifting. The touch was gentle, unfamiliar in its meaning but not in its comfort. New, yet welcomed all the same.
“I missed you,” he spoke, the words barely audible.
“I missed you too,” you whispered, your fingers hesitating before sliding lightly across his chest, your touch mirroring his.
The soft glow of the bedside lamp painted the room in muted gold, shadows swaying gently across the walls as a cool breeze slipped through the slightly cracked window.
His fingers began tracing lazy, mismatched shapes across your skin. The stillness between you felt unspoken, broken only by the rhythm of his breath aligning with yours.
“How long do you think we can avoid it?” you asked suddenly.
He didn’t answer right away, his hand stilling briefly before resuming its slow patterns against your side. “Avoid what?”
"Joe," you whispered, a soft plea woven into your voice.
He sighed, his arm flexing as he pulled you even closer, your legs brushing against his under the covers. “I thought we were doing pretty well pretending.”
“You’re terrible at pretending,” you teased as your fingers reached to graze along the line of his jaw.
Joe’s gaze flickered down to you, the teasing dropping away, leaving something heavier in its place. “Yeah,” he breathed. “I know.”
The room felt smaller and the air heavier as his fingers skimmed higher across your body. His other hand moved from behind his head to cradle your cheek, his thumb brushing your skin as he studied you with a look that sent heat pooling low in your stomach.
“You didn’t ask me why I came straight here tonight,” Joe said, as if he was pulling the thought from somewhere deep within.
Your brows furrowed slightly. “I figured I didn’t need to.”
His lips parted slightly, “I couldn’t stay away,” he confessed, his breath warm against your skin. “I thought about waiting, about giving you space, but I didn’t want to.”
The honesty in his voice cracked something open in you. “I didn’t want you to wait either,” you admitted, your hand sliding further, nails gently trailing along the side of his neck
His gaze locked on yours, “I don’t think I can anymore.”
The weight of his words hit you like heavily, pulling you toward him before his lips even touched yours. When they did, it wasn’t soft or cautious, nothing like his actions have been over the past how many weeks.
It was fierce, consuming, like he had been holding this back for too long. His hand slipped further under your shirt and along the curve of your torso.
You found it hard to not only focus on the way he was grasping for any part of you that he could hold onto, his touch igniting sparks that spread like wildfire.
Your fingers tightened along the nape of his neck, pulling him closer, deeper, like you needed more and couldn’t stop.
His lips parted against yours and the kiss turned feverish. The taste of him was intoxicating, dizzying. He pulled your body flush against his, as though even the smallest distance was unbearable.
When you finally drew your head back, both of you were breathless, foreheads pressed together as you struggled to find air. His breath ghosted over your lips like he wasn’t ready to fully part from you just yet.
For a moment, the both of you stayed there — his one hand still cradling your cheek, thumb brushing over your skin in lazy, soft strokes. The other gently resting on your hip. It was a stark contrast to the heat still pulsing between you.
Your hand slowly trailed upward, fingers threading gently through his hair before settling back against the side of his face.
His gaze flicked down to your lips and back up, like he was memorizing the way they swelled from the kiss.
“Today felt different,” you whispered, your lips brushing softly against his with the faintest tremor, like you weren’t ready to pull away yet either.
His voice was hoarse when he finally spoke, his lips grazing yours again, teasing and gentle, as though saying that this moment deserved to last a little longer. “It did,” he replied.
His hand slipped to the back of your head, fingers tangling gently at the base of your neck. He tilted your face toward him, his breath mingling with yours in the space between you. “And it didn’t scare me.”
Your lips curved into a faint smile, the kind that held a mix of relief and something deeper. “It didn’t scare me either.”
And that was all it took.
He kissed you again, this time with a slow, unhurried intensity that left no room for doubt. His lips moved against yours, patient but firm, pulling you under like the tide. His hand slid down from your head to join the other at the curve of your waist, fingers splaying wide against your skin as though he was trying to commit the feel of you to memory.
Every touch was electric, his hands mapping over the length of your body with a measured intent. He kissed you deeper, his tongue brushing against yours in a way that sent shivers racing down your spine.
His thumbs dropped down lower, grazing against your hip bones and making your stomach flutter. He knew exactly where to linger, exactly how to unravel you without a word.
There was something about the way he kissed you now — like the weight of everything unsaid had finally lifted, leaving only the need to be closer, to feel more.
By the time you pulled back again you were gasping for air, your lips tingling and your heart racing so fast you could feel it in your fingertips. His forehead rested against yours, and his hand traced soothing circles on your back. His breath brushed against your cheek as he smiled.
“Still not scared?” he asked, voice teasing but laced with meaning.
Your fingers brushed over his jaw, tracing the slight stubble there. “Not even a little.”
And the way he kisses you after that is even better than before.

You'd gone on another date tonight.
This was the fifth one this month.
Always a different guy. Jungkook had been keeping count.
It was hard to not let it get to him. Sure, he was aware that you didn't owe him anything, and much less did he feel as if he held any sort of ownership over you, bu the more men he beheld in your presence, the less patience he had.
Jungkook knew you to be a smart girl. You were a well put-together adult, an incredibly confident and intelligent woman who needed no protection from anyone. It was one of the many things that made him fall for you. It was just the decisions you took in regard to your love life that left Jungkook bothered.
He tried not to judge you, truly he did, but seeing you go from one idiot to another pained him. Intimately so. While aware that you needed to get all these idiots out of your system, Jungkook just wasn't sure how much longer he could hold back as he watched you with this week's respective idiotic bachelor.
This time around, it was some idiot named Liam.
To the naked eye, he might've been a good pick — which is why you'd even given him the time of day, Jungkook assumed. He was tall, — but Jungkook was taller — he was fit, — but Jungkiok fitter — he had okay money — except it was none compared to Jungkook — he had everything the average woman would look for in a man. Truly, Jungkook could not blame you for thinking this might be the right guy.
But, at the same time, you sometimes had the tendency to rush things. Or at least that was what Jungkook had noticed after the past few months of watching you.
The same had happened with Liam.
After messaging for about a week, you'd found yourself at a late night date.
It was the usual. Dinner, walk around a nearby park, and finalizing with a solicitous invitation to your apartment. That much was fine with Jungkook. He didn't care (well, he very much did). A man vying for your affections was not shocking to him. You were perfect. Jungkook was certain of it.
It was what happened behind closed doors that churned his insides out.
Maybe it had been a bad idea when Jungkook decided to install a camera in your apartment, but he couldn't help himself. It had seemed inviting at the time. You had been gone on a family vacation for a week, leaving your place completely vacant, too inviting for him to not take the chance to look around.
And look around, he did.
Out of all the time in which he'd known you, that had been the best day of all. Getting to be in an environment tailored to you and by you had been heaven.
He laid on your bed, letting himself be engulfed by the scent of your shampoo on your pillow. He'd chuckled at all the adorable plushies scattered throughout your place. He'd installed his cameras, ensuring the ability to supervise in case the occasion were to come up.
But his most favorite had been the souvenirs he'd taken with him. The pretty lace set he'd taken as a memento to ensure he had a little piece of you with him at all times.
Currently, as he went over today's events whilst in bed, that pretty set sat on his pillow — on the side of the bed he decided would be yours as soon as he made you his ...
Going back to more pressing matters. That idiot, Liam.
God, even thinking about how the night had ended made him angry. How did you pick these guys? Well, Jungkook knew the how (usually some shitty dating app), but he just couldn't understand the why.
Your dinner had been subpar at best. Liam had picked the shittiest 'fancy' restaurant available. He had ordered for you (whilst picking the cheapest options available), hadn't even bothered to buy you quality wine, and took a ten-minute bathroom break halfway through dinner — which he had spent on some stupid phone call to a buddy of his. Talk about priorities.
Going back home, he parked too far from your apartment for some stupid reason or other, choosing to walk you under a thinly-veiled pretense to make sure you arrived home safely. Instead, he went home with you despite not deserving such privilege.
This time around, Jungkook could tell that you weren't too enthusiastic to allow him in, but it seemed ritualistic to you by now. He argued that maybe you wanted at least one thing to come out of the date, even if that was just some meaningless sex.
Except that the sex had been even worse than anything that came prior.
At first, Jungkook felt morally ambiguous as he watched the live feed of the camera he'd installed in your apartment, but considering that he had already followed you to your date (under disguise, of course), this wasn't all that bad.
The foreplay had been nonexistent (his first mistake, Jungkook was very well aware), leaving you dissatisfied before it all even began. Barely wet and not stimulated at all, you laid there, letting that undeserving idiot do a novice's job at fingering you. Jungkook caught onto the winces on your face as the dumbass worked you with zero finesse. It was a complete disaster that left you just as dry as you'd been since walking through the door.
The worst part of all had been the actual sex itself. Jungkook was genuinely appalled at Liam's ability to get gradually worse as the night progressed.
For starters, you didn't cum. Jungkook would've been able to spot a fake orgasm from you from miles away. You gave a great performance, he had to admit. Had he been any other idiot (re: Liam), he might've believed you. But he knew all your tells. Despite how pretty you looked, how ruinous you sounded, he knew that you'd fabricated that scene to get Liam to stop trying to make you cum to no avail.
Liam, though, had the night of his life. Of this, Jungkook was sure. He needed no confirmation for it, but he received it in the form of many incoming messages you got the following morning. After kicking Liam out the previous night, — under the premise that you had work early the next morning (because you were far too nice to tell him to get fucked) — you awoke to messages from the idiot wondering when part two would come.
Jungkook scoffed at the messages, itching to respond but knowing that if he did, he'd give away that he'd hacked into your accounts. However, he was happy to see that you'd let him down, using one excuse or another as to why you shouldn't go on a second date.
This was the usual routine you followed.
Or at least in the past three months in which Jungkook had been watching you. But now things would be different.
Because Jungkook had finally had enough.
It was time for you to meet the love of your life.
Jungkook's decision to finally make his way into your life was inspired by a message exchange you'd had with your friend slightly prior to your escapade with that idiot.
You'd been frustrated, unwilling to continue with this stupid back and forth with guys who did not deserve you (your words, though Jungkook fully agreed). This was your last attempt, you'd sworn. You'd give up on dating sites from then on, thus giving up on dating in general, because, according to you, the current state of dating did not exist in real life. Romance was dead, you'd claimed, disheartened by how many failed talking stages you'd been through and by the amount of men disinterested in more than simple one-night stands.
So, Jungkook swore something to himself.
He swore that he'd be the man to change your mind. He'd let you exhaust yourself with worthless men and come swoop you off your feet.
For months, he'd prepared for this. Everything about you, he knew. If there was any man perfect for you, it was him.
He liked to think that he was your type already — tall, handsome, smart, financially intelligent, romantic. He had everything you wanted in a man. All he had to do now was swoop into your life and make his interest be known.
But there was a problem.
As much as Jungkook liked you, — and as much as he believed you'd like him back — he was scared. Among all his attributes was a shyness that appeared to only show up when it concerned you. There'd been various instances in which he'd been itching to meet you, to cut his research short and kneel before you, begging you to give him a chance. But this had proved impossible to him. It was one of the reasons as to why he hadn't just grown the balls to speak to you in the first place.
Under his logic, it was better to study you from afar. To learn everything about who he was sure would become the love of his life. Everything about you was perfect to him from the moment he saw you. He could not risk letting you get away; disappointing you by not being the man you needed.
So he watched you from afar. He learned what to do, what not to do.
By now, he knew everything he needed to know. He knew in which ways to impress you, in which ways to ensure he wouldn't drive you away. It was just his constant anxieties about meeting you that prevented him from approaching you sooner.
Though, technically, you'd already met.
It had been brief. He was sure you didn't even remember it. Yet it was a life-changing moment for him.
It had been his turn to do a coffee run at the firm he worked at. Despite holding an important position within the company, his department had been looking for a replacement assistant for a while, leaving the more menial tasks up to the higher ups (re: Jungkook and a few others).
Upon arriving at the nearest coffee shop, there you were.
Jungkook remembered every detail about you on that day. Your hair had been done the way you usually did it, but your lipstick had been a particular shade of red he'd been itching to see you wear again.
Speaking to you had been a feat. His eyes remained on the counter the whole time, stumbling over his words a bit when you'd cracked some joke that you'd likely practiced for new customers. Jungkook wasn't usually like this. Your beauty had just caught him completely off-guard, leaving him looking like a gaping idiot.
You were beautiful, charming, and overall just a goddess in Jungkook's eyes.
It had been on that day that he'd decided that his life would now revolve around getting you to be his.
Jungkook had a tendency to get everything he wanted anyways. Wealth just happened to do that to a person.
~
The day that he'd meticulously planned for months had arrived.
Jungkook had practically jumped out of his seat when Jimin stepped out of his office to inquire as to who would be getting their usual drinks this time around. He tried not to be obvious about it, but he couldn't let this day go to waste. He'd even done his hair in a way he knew you liked (at least based on your prior dating history), donning a suit that perfectly showed off his body line, accentuating his muscles while also letting the dip of his waist show.
He felt frivolous, but the mere thought of you enjoying his appearance made him appreciate himself all the better.
Stepping out, there was a pep in his step. The knowledge that he'd finally — officially — meet the girl of his dreams had him over the moon. Taehyung had even eyed him weirdly when he noticed his uncharacteristic enthusiasm on a random Tuesday morning. Jungkook simply brushed him off. Nothing was going to derail him today.
Today would be the start of the rest of his life. Nothing had mattered as much as this moment.
As he stood in front of your place of work, he hesitated a bit.
The glass doors gave him a perfect view of you working behind the coffee bar. He stayed there, watching you from afar, for a few moments. Not minding the buzzling in and out of the coffee shop, he remained there, attempting to psych himself up to finally make a move.
Would you remember him?
No, of course not. Why would you?
Your one and only meeting had been three months ago. It had been such a fleeting moment, yet it had left such a long-standing effect on him. Jungkook hoped maybe that had been mutual, but according to your messaging history, that was not the case.
Shaking his head of any irrelevant thoughts, he finally stepped forward, hand landing on the door to push it open. And then, there you were.
You weren't paying attention to him as he stepped towards the counter. No, you were wiping the table — always doing something, always working. Jungkook knew this about you. You had a habit to keep yourself busy at all times. You liked feeling useful. He really liked this about you.
When he finally settled his feet right across from you, you looked up with a slight jump. Jungkook even noticed you do a quick double-take at his appearance.
"Oh, uh hi! Welcome. What can I get for you today?", you cleared your throat with a smile.
"Morning," he smiled back, sheepish, "Sorry, it's a bit of a big order. I'm on coffee run duty today," he said as he handed you the slip of paper containing his floor's orders of choice.
"Oh, yeah for sure," you grabbed the note, incidentally brushing your fingers.
Jungkook had to do a double take himself when he noticed a slight blush on your cheeks at the contact. He couldn't let his confidence falter, but the internal satisfaction at even the slightest reciprocation already had him beaming.
Was it really working? He hadn't even done anything yet. Maybe catering his looks to your liking really did have its intended effect.
You excused yourself from the counter and walked over to the side to begin preparing the drinks. Jungkook, being as determined as he was, trailed along, not minding the glass above the counter separating customers from baristas. Dumbly, he watched as you made the drinks, occasionally catching your eye and chuckling when you'd giggle.
"Is coffee making that interesting to you?", you chuckled, head tilting in curiosity but not once stopping your work.
"The sight is fascinating for sure," he hummed.
You faltered a bit after that, grip on the cup needing readjustment due to his unexpected flirting. Jungkook, on the contrary, maintained his posture. His eyes remained on yours and a small smile graced his lips.
"Okay, damn," you murmured under your breath. You tried to suppress a flustered smile, but Jungkook still caught it.
"Too forward? I thought maybe it was too subtle," he chuckled.
You set aside one of the drinks, moving onto the next one. If Jungkook didn't know any better, he might've thought you were taking your time.
"Do you do this to all service workers or am I just special?"
"Maybe you're just special," he began, "I can't lie, you might've caught my eye last time I was here," he admitted.
Half-truths were okay.
"Oh? I don't remember you. Remind me?"
Your tone had turned higher, maybe even flirtatious. Luck was on Jungkook's side today.
He'd known you to like guys who were a little forward — or at least that's what you'd texted your best friend after another failed date with a guy who couldn't mumble his way out of a single compliment. Apart from attempting to physically embody your type, he'd also decided to act in every way he knew you'd be extra responsive to.
Luckily for Jungkook, it appeared as if your type was pretty much just him.
"Hmm," he pretended to ponder over it, "Too little time. Maybe I could stop by after your shift and remind you then. It was a life-changing experience, I have lots to say."
A truth hidden behind a joke. He was doing good at this.
Another giggle left your lips, almost dropping the pen you were currently using to write the names of each recipient of the drinks.
"Your suit looks more expensive than my monthly wages. Are you sure you wanna spend your time waiting for a lowly barista, Mr. CEO?"
If only you knew just how much time he was willing to invest in you. How much he'd already invested.
"Not a CEO. And I'd be willing to stand here for hours if that's what it takes."
"Okay, damn. You're serious, huh?", you laughed, "I'm off in three hours. But I'll look a mess by then. If you really want to tell me how I changed your life, here's my number," your hand crossed the threshold of the small divide between the counter and the bar, grabbing onto his own and scribbling your number on the back of his hand.
"I hope you know I'll be making liberal use of this," he warned lightheartedly.
"Don't threaten me with a good time," you grinned one last time before handing him a cup holder with all his drinks.
Jungkook had to force himself and be cool as he exited out of the establishment, attempting to conceal the huge smile on his lips at his success.
Things had gone way smoother than he'd ever fantasized. The nerves he was sure would surge as soon as he saw you simply never made an appearance. He'd been able to wow you, to make you laugh. Fuck, your shy giggle at his dumb flirting would likely replay in his brain for the rest of the day.
There was a brand new pep in his step as he made his way back. It had taken herculean self-control to not look back and check if you were looking back at him as he left. He needed to play it cool. You liked guys who were down, horribly bad for you, but that would come later. For now, he needed to preserve an image of coolness.
Jungkook made his way back to his building, multiple cups in hand aided by the cup holder. He'd made sure his hand remained untouched, unwilling to risk losing your number (despite the fact he already had it — and way more than just your number).
It was the cutest thing to him, seeing you scribble your number on his hand as your hand held his firm for the pressure of the pen. The shadow of your touch remained on him, something which he would preserve in his mind until the moment he got to feel your touch again.
Jungkook's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden voice. Though not too sudden, as he was now surrounded by people, not having realized he'd arrived as he was deep in his thoughts.
"You look very happy."
Turning to his side, he found Taehyung standing there, hands on hips before he walked over to Jungkook and took his coffee from the beverage holder he had at hand. He had that same look on his face he always had when he was teasing him. Jungkook felt slightly embarrassed at how obvious his feelings showed through his face.
The smile on his lips simply couldn't be helped.
"Oh, I-"
"You have that dopey smile on your face. I haven't seen that in a while," Tae noted, "Who is she?"
Jungkook did a combination of a choked breath and a scoff, resulting in a very unpleasant sound. Clearing his throat to properly respond, he took a sip from his own coffee, setting down the rest on a table nearby so they could be up for grabs.
"What makes you think it's a girl?", he attempted to evade.
"C'mon, man. Humor me," Tae nudged.
Jungkook sighed, knowing that Tae would probably not let this go. Jungkook was known as a man adverse to the dating scene, constantly pushed and pulled in every direction possible to get him to give dating a chance. What no one had known was that his heart was waiting for the perfect girl, which he'd been lucky to have found a few months back and had locked his mind and heart on.
Since things with you were pretty much settled now, Jungkook supposed that mentioning his upcoming date (the one he'd ensure to schedule with you as soon as humanly possible) wasn't too out of the question. He was too giddy to keep it in.
"Uhm, I might've asked a girl for her number."
And it was like those words sounded an alarm at the office.
Suddenly Jimin was standing next to Taehyung, with Hobi stopping on his tracks to join in on the conversation, all with their ears practically perked up in Jungkook's direction.
"You what?!"
"A girl? Since when? Who?"
"Fucking finally. I ran out of girls to set you up with."
All congratulatory and accusatory messages were delivered all at once, making Jungkook roll his eyes at the collective.
He was known as a hopeless romantic, which was known to make him incredibly picky — or anal, as Taehyung could say — about who he dated. So, yeah, maybe the fact that he'd asked a girl for her number was a big deal. But Jungkook didn't want his friends meddling with it or asking too many questions before things even started.
Especially when Jungkook couldn't really let anyone in on how he'd met you or how he'd ended up in this situation in the first place. Not even his friends could become privy to the liberal freedoms he'd taken to get to know you and ensure he'd get a chance at being with you.
His master plan was a secret he'd take to the grave.
"Just a girl. It's not a for sure thing yet. Don't wanna jinx it," is what he settled with to avoid any specifics.
"C'mon. Nothing else? It's been years, man. Give us something more," Hobi goaded.
Jungkook couldn't help the slight smile that threatened to break through at the thought of you. At the thought of what was to come.
"I'll keep you guys updated after I actually ask her out."
He received some 'boo's for that, but the shrugged them off with a lighthearted eye-roll, taking his coffee and walking over to his office after a few more minutes of teasing from his friends. They'd pointed out the phone number on his hand, awing and cooing at him in jest before he took his leave. His friends left his mind as soon as he stepped into his office, uncharacteristically putting work aside so he could put his mind on more important things — you.
Pulling out his phone, well, his burner, he decided to course through your social medias just out of sheer curiosity. Had you said anything about him? Maybe texted a friend? It'd only been a few minutes, but he knew you were usually due for a break soon and the curiosity was killing him. He needed to know what your first impression of him.
He checked your twitter, your private twitter account, even your instagram, and nothing. Which was to be expected. You weren't really the type to post your every move. But still, Jungkook was hopeful that maybe he'd invaded your mind in the same way you did his.
And then he suddenly got a notification. It was a text message from your friend, instigating him into opening your messaging app.
Upon opening it, he found an ongoing conversation, leading him to scroll up a bit to see how it'd started.
you - omfg i met the cutest guy just now you - he asked for my number im going insane you - he smelled so fucking good fuckjhdgfhskd

Jungkook was practically kicking his feet like a teenage girl in love at every single message.
It was odd watching the conversation play out in real time, but he couldn't be too bothered about that. Not when he was so enamored with the way you spoke about him.
You wanted him!!! You wanted to fuck him!!! — a thought that made him both blush and his skin heat up. You were interested and willing to give dating a chance just to get to know him.
He was beyond fucked. But in a good way.
The excitement brought goosebumps to his skin and the itch to contact you immediately and confess his addiction to you grew more by the second.
But he had to play it cool.
He exited out of the conversation after that, wanting to give you some privacy to gush over him with your friend (it was really the least he could do).
However, the itch to message you persisted, which is exactly what he did next.
He went through many reiterations of what to send, thinking back to prior conversations you'd had with previous partners and the subsequent conversations you'd had with your friends about said partners. If Jungkook was anything, he was an expert on you. If he had to take on another PhD, his thesis would undoubtedly be about you.
In the end, he decided on being true to himself while also following the self-given advice he'd gathered through the months of knowing you.
Jungkook - let me take you out. Jungkook - this is jungkook btw Jungkook - (the love of ur life in case that wasnt clear)
Okay, sure, he wasn't as suave as the average person would expect. However, he was very well aware of what your type was. You liked to be chased, to have a guy on his knees begging for a chance — but not in a creepy way. Those had been your exact words the multiple times in which you'd vented to your friends both via text and facetime.
To your luck, Jungkook was exactly that. He had already gone way more out of his way than the average person did (or should) just to get one chance to get you to consider him as a suitor. Being down bad, or perhaps even a loser, was not a feat for him.
Your response came after a few minutes, with an excited acceptance to his offer (thank god) and a plan ultimately set up for the upcoming weekend. Jungkook could barely continue his work day after such news, too giddy to concentrate and wanting to huddle under a blanket and kick at his feet like a teenage girl.
The rest of the day was spent with thoughts of you, pushing his work aside while he mentally prepared yet another gameplan for what was to come. He needed to think of a date, arrange it, maybe even plan for what would come after it — because there would be another. He'd ensure it.
It was a few days away, yet Jungkook continued to think about it up until that very day, thankful he no longer had to wait and watch back as you dated dumbass after dumbass. Jungkook had already forgotten about every undeserving idiot he had witnessed come before him, knowing himself to be on a whole entire level to them.
As the days towards the date passed, Jungkook continued casually texting you, making good on his promise to make liberal use of your phone number (despite having already made good use of all your other information without your knowledge). He shared reels with you, tiktoks, messaged you jokes, 'good mornings,' flirtatious back and forths, anything that could get the two of you talking in the meantime. Jungkook wanted to share his genuine personality with you, hopeful that you'd like him as he was and that your personalities were as compatible as he'd predicted.
And he'd been correct. Your conversations never halted abruptly, flowing through the days and never having awkward lulls in between. It felt like talking to an old friend, except that this time around it was who he believed would become his soulmate.
Despite wanting to give you more privacy now that he had actually met you formally, Jungkook still occasionally fell for the temptation of checking your messages through his burner phone. He'd made a deal with himself that he'd stop, that he'd do things right and not mar things between you by reading your private conversations or spying on you as he did before. But sometimes it was hard. Especially when he needed to ensure things went well enough for him to be able to ask you to be official.
And so he checked, and was very pleased by what he found.
Your words about him towards your friends were blush-worthy, to say the least. You'd shower him with compliments, with some being PG while others leaning towards more R rated territory. He'd blush and flush and go crazy at those comments, itching to get you alone and show you even more things to gush about to your friends.
But for now, he prepared for your date. He'd have time to rock your world later, all in due time. His cards needed to be played right, and he was more than prepared to win this game.
Unsurprisingly to Jungkook, the date went amazing.
From the moment he picked you up, to the moment he offered to walk you from his car to your door, everything went better than he'd fantasized night after night.
He'd picked an expensive restaurant, offering to take up the entire bill (as any gentleman should, but he knew you weren't used to such treatment) and even brought you what he knew to be your favorite flowers. He picked you up, of course, earning the reward of seeing you walk out of your apartment with the most life-ruining dress he'd ever seen. A few stammered compliments were given, leading to the price that were your shy giggles in return.
At the actual date, everything ran smoothly. Jungkook's knowledge of you proved useful to wow you, but truly, he didn't need to pretend or lie to you at any moment in order to impress you. He was himself, and that was something you seemed to adore (but not as much as he already adored you). Every joke was met with a giggle, and every train of thought was reciprocated and entertained by you. You'd even played footsie with him at some point, sharing the teasing physical contact with him in return to his occasional flirtation.
When it came time to leave, he drove you back home, parking a little further away under some lame pretense just so he could spend a little extra time with you to walk you home. You caught on to this, but to Jungkook's joy, you entertained his idea, not wanting the night to end just yet either.
Once at your door, Jungkook felt conflicted.
Preferably, this would be the moment in which he finally shared his first kiss with you, a moment he'd imagined too many times to be able to admit. Yet, he found himself hesitating.
As far as he'd known you, you'd disapproved of moving too fast in relationships. It just wasn't you, you'd say. The only occasions in which you allowed for things to move forward within short periods of time were for one-night stands or when you already knew there would be no further dates.
Jungkook, however, wished to not be lumped into neither one of those categories.
So he stood there, smiling at you, holding onto your hand and unwilling to let go as his thumb graced your knuckles in a soft manner. It was silent, but it wasn't awkward. The best way to describe it was enamored — and to Jungkook's delight, it seemed to be a mutual sentiment!
But then you threw him off completely.
Not bothering to warn him, you stepped forward, putting your hands on his jaw and pulling him in as you stood on your tippy toes to reach him.
He had no time to react, eyes widening and mouth opening as you connected your lips to his. It took him a second to respond, with his arms still limp and awkward between you before he stepped into action. If you wanted a kiss, he'd deliver the best one of your life.
Taking control of the situation was easy. The shock of his long-time wish finally coming true only had him in dreamland for a few seconds before he finally snapped and reciprocated. He began to lead you, lips overpowering yours and tongue slipping out of his mouth and into your own.
He couldn't let himself think about the kiss too deeply. It was already torturous, hearing your sighs muffled by his lips and swallowing every tiny sound you made at the aggressive way in which he'd begun to kiss you. He had all the power, and much to his mental dismay, you seemed to really enjoy it.
But he needed to control himself. He couldn't let this move too fast. Couldn't let himself give in to desire and have his long-awaited day with you. Even if his body was itching for him to get on his knees and beg for a chance between them, he had to hold himself back.
However, this did not prevent him from indulging in your touch at least a little.
Pushing you up against your front door, his lips trailed down your neck and into the expanse of your chest that was bared (courtesy of the cleavage you'd decided to bless Jungkook with). His lips were indecisive, going from your sternum and up to your neck, nipping lightly at times and easing the sting with flicks of his tongue. The pretty sounds you let out were more than reward enough for his efforts.
His knee ended up between your legs, itching closer and closer to your middle and digging itself there with a practiced precision that had you keening under his hold.
"Please," you sighed after some time, begging for something your dazed state likely didn't even know.
"Please what, baby?"
Your head turned, catching his lips again, but not in a kiss. It was too messy to be deemed a kiss, consisting of open mouths and too much spit to be considered sanitary.
"Come in? I wanna- Please come in," you pleaded, effectively killing Jungkook.
It took herculean effort for Jungkook to stay put. It was the hardest thing in the world to reject you when you were so desperate, when your voice was a mere breath of desire landing right against his lips before dipping into yet another kiss.
He couldn't help the groan that left him, but he replaced it with a chuckle when you whined at the separation of lips.
"You know I can't do that, baby."
"But I want you to!" you pouted, petulant and way too convincing.
His hand went up to your chin, turning your head towards him. It could've been considered a cute gesture, but his knee remained digging into your cunt (which was pulsing against him, driving him further into insanity) and your bodies were still too pressed up to be considered proper.
Looking up at him, you pouted, eyebrows hunched together in a way that let him know you were left wanting more. He thumbed at your chin in a soft manner, cooing at the adorable sight before him.
But you just had to pay him back for his teasing — though it was fair, considering his knee continued to dig into your cunt, earning tiny gasps from you and an eye-roll of pleasure.
You tilted your chin back, landing his thumb on your bottom lip and subsequently pulling it into your mouth (not that Jungkook put too much of a fight). Still staring into his eyes, you suckled at his thumb, wide, empty eyes making him lose himself.
He stood there, dumb and gone as he watched your cheeks sink in as you licked and sucked at his thumb, moaning when he pressed at your tongue. It was filthy and depraved and he loved it.
"Are you sure you won't come in?" you tried one last time, seduction in your voice.
It took everything in him. Every last ounce of self-control and survival skills in him to be able to deny you after you'd put on that little show for him.
But he'd worked too hard to fuck you within one day of having you. He needed to take his time and romance you as you'd always wanted. Sometimes he just knew you better than you knew yourself.
"I'm sorry, angel. I need to kiss you goodnight, okay?", he pouted back at you, chuckling when you mirrored his pout.
But then you smiled at him. Warm, accepting and especially enamored.
He had done good.
"I'll be waiting for a goodnight text from you," you said after he'd pecked your lips a few times, finally giving you enough space away from the door.
"I'll even text you good morning first thing tomorrow, beautiful," he smiled at you.
When you left (after even more chaste pecks), a smile overtook him. The half-forming boner was the last of his worries when he felt so happy at the outcome of tonight's events. He might've even skipped on his way to his car.
~
What happened next was slightly predictable to Jungkook.
He had sworn to himself he wouldn't. Had sword he'd give you privacy from now on. That he'd let things play out naturally now that he had you to himself, ready to fall in love with him.
Yet curiosity got the best of him once again.
He'd rushed his way home, even driving through a few red lights on his way. It was a life-or-death matter to him (or at least to his boner).
As soon as he was home, he ran to his macbook, opening up the tab that would display the only sight that would leave him satisfied when he was so pent up and needy for you.
And when he caught sight of what he'd been looking for, a groan couldn't help itself but to escape his lips.
There you were, busy with your hand between your legs as you sighed out Jungkook's name in between flicks of your clit. The sight was sinful, leaving Jungkook a lifeless version of himself as he groaned and cried out at the view.
Joining you in your touches was a given. He wished he could be there right now, working you to his desires, but he was still content with the current state of affairs. His hands undid his pants faster than they'd ever before, freeing himself from any clothing concealing him before losing himself in you.
He'd seen you touch yourself countless times, already well aware of what you'd do, how you'd play with yourself. But this time was different. This time it was rushed, desperate. It was a desperation he easily mirrored, completely empathetic to the feeling.
It didn't take him much to make himself cum, having already been on the brink whilst driving himself home. The effect some mere kissing and fondling had had on him was somewhat embarrassing, but he couldn't blame himself. Not when you'd been the cause.
Watching you cum, back arching and breath hitching at the overwhelming feeling. Even as he watched you, he felt pained. It was a depraved feeling he'd never experienced before, with the incessant need to be the one experiencing these feelings with you, cursing at himself for depriving himself from the experience.
Once the sensations seized, Jungkook closed his computer, setting it aside so he could ruminate on that day's occurrences.
Before going to sleep, he made sure to give you that 'goodnight' text he'd promised, smiling at himself when you replied, even adding a few heart emojis in tandem.
The development of your newfound relationship continued just as Jungkook had hoped.
More dates went by, with frequent stops at your cafe any time he had a short break during work (meaning, often). It was easy to tell that you were as enamored with Jungkook as he was with you. The many flirty texts and delivered flowers paid off, and it all felt very natural to him. Treating you the way you deserved, the way he'd been itching to treat you, it was like a gift to Jungkook.
It'd only been a month, yet it felt like an eternity to him.
He'd stopped keeping tabs on you by then.
Well, for the most part.
The curiosity after every date remained in him. Every time he held back and dropped you off without anything further than some kisses, he itched to know how you felt afterwards, instantly checking on his camera and even looking for any feedback you may have given your friends.
It was safe to say that you wanted him just as much as he did you.
Which made it all the more difficult to hold back from letting you pull him into your apartment and finally having his way with you.
But after this month of pure bliss, Jungkook finally decided.
He'd finally let himself have you in the way he'd been thirsting after.
Tonight, he'd planned yet another date. After that first one, it was virtually impossible for the two of you to stay away from each other. Not only did Jungkook want to spend every available second with you, but you were very responsive to that fact, always accepting and even suggesting dates.
But tonight was different. When you'd suggested some ice cream and a walk in the park, Jungkook took a risk and asked you if you'd rather come over, maybe watch a movie and eat some pre-bought ice cream (of your choosing, of course). It was a thinly-veiled excuse to get you in his apartment (and completely alone) for the first time.
And unsurprisingly to Jungkook, you accepted. There was a suggestive smile in your lips when you did so, leading Jungkook to believe that you were aware of his desires and even shared some of your own.
He couldn't help the anxious feelings overtaking him as he waited for you to arrive. He knew what was coming, knew that tonight would be the culmination of all he'd ever wanted since laying eyes on you. His skin burned at the thought of what was to come and his body shook in anticipation, goosebumps forming as the minutes passed.
When you knocked on his door, he couldn't help but run to it like a dog awaiting its owner's return. He didn't want to appear too giddy, like some freak only wanting to jump into your pants, but that fact was half reality. He was depraved for you. He was desperate, only having held back for so long because he had wanted to do things right, to win your heart before getting access to your body.
And finally he'd have both.
"Hey," you smiled up at him at his doorstep, front teeth digging into the plush of your bottom lip. You leant against his door frame, casual yet slightly nervous.
Looking down at you, he noted your cutesy pajamas. A matching set of tiny shorts and a tank top currently covered by an oversized hoodie, unzipped and letting him in on your outfit.
"Ready for our sleepover?", you giggled.
It was impossible not to be enamored by you.
When he'd suggested a movie and some ice cream at his place, you'd adorably suggested a sleepover, insisting on some movie marathon of his choice and all the snacks you could wish for. You'd said that it was an excuse to 'be domestic and shit,' as you'd put it. You also adamantly claimed you needed to check whether or not he snored in order to continue the relationship (all whilst blushing at the 'r' word, not having labeled things yet and unknowing that Jungkook would do so tonight).
He smiled back at you, doing his best to hold back from aggressively attacking you with the affection overflowing him. His mind battled between finding you adorable and wanting to lock you down and keep you in his bed for weeks to come.
"Come in, pretty. I got all your favorite snacks," he welcomed you in with a bear hug, humming loudly as he nuzzled into your neck.
"Hmm, you give the best hugs, I hate you," you grumbled when he let go.
Then you walked in as if you owned the place, practically skipping over to the couch nearby and eyeing all the snacks Jungkook had grown to recognize as your favorites — though he had known this from the months of watching you.
"Come on! Sit. I demand my sleepover," you whined, getting up from the couch and pulling him to sit right next to you.
He chuckled, finding you adorable yet again.
~
Only one movie was watched before things began leaving the PG-13 realm Jungkook had invertedly found himself in.
After a bit, you'd cuddled into him, with his arm enveloping you and accepting you into his chest as you continued to watch the movie. But the movie was the last thing in his mind. What he wanted was to see in person that body which he'd so often watched through a screen without your knowledge.
He had theories of what you'd feel like under his touch, of how you'd react to his. But ultimately, he knew that imagination would never compare to reality.
By now, neither of you were paying attention to the movie. Jungkook had been unfocused since the moment you walked in. However, you'd kept up the pretense of an innocent sleepover for a little longer than he did. While he'd been ready to jump you since the date began, you'd played dumb and cuddled up to him as you watched the movie, though not once rejecting his attempts to get closer and closer.
And now, after the first movie of the night was finally over, his hands became braver. Sensing your equal desire for him, he let his hands find your bare thighs, knuckles running up and down their expanse as he subtly looked to his side, watching you squirm at the touch.
You pushed yourself closer, legs pressing together a bit when his hand began to dip into the middle of your legs. With a giggle, you turned your body to face this, a failed attempt at concealing a smile showing on your face.
"Slick," you chuckled. You might've meant it to mock him, but you still began giving in, putting your own hands on him.
Naturally, he took advantage of this, grabbing onto your hips and pulling you to straddle his lap. Your hands found their place on his shoulders, sliding from his shoulders to his jaw while his did the same on your waist and hips.
Kissing you came just as naturally, pulling you in and trapping your bottom lip between his own two, making the kiss deeper than you'd ever kissed each other before. You instantly hummed into his mouth, hands reaching to his head and pulling him closer. His own remained on your hips, having fun squeezing at the plush skin there, bare due to your shorts having ridden up while straddling him.
With a self-prescribed oral fixation, Jungkook would've had fun kissing you for hours on end. He had already fostered a tendency to bite at his own lip ring, but the satisfaction he got from it only intensified when you did it — which was exactly what you were doing at that moment.
As you nibbled and sucked at his bottom lip, occasionally pulling at the silver ring with your teeth, Jungkook's hands began feeling you up, slowly losing their hesitation in grabbing at any curve he could reach. Your hands eventually came to do the same, finding his arms and sighing into his lips when you felt the stiff muscle under your hands.
When Jungkook got tired of feeling you up through your clothes, his hands reached the hem of your top, slowly reaching underneath it to ensure he gave you time to pull him away if you didn't want him to do so (which he was very certain was not the case, at least going off your own hands doing the same to him). Pulling off your top, he disconnected your lips, moving onto your neck and letting his thumbs feel at your bare nipples, chuckling at the low whine you let out at the action.
"You're so pretty, baby," he murmured.
His eyes were closed and his face nuzzled into your neck, kisses being left in his wake. But despite having not seen the expanse of your torso yet, he knew you were the prettiest thing he would've ever laid his eyes on. He'd seen you countless times. Maybe through a screen and maybe without your knowledge, but he'd seen you enough to have every inch memorized. Now was time to memorize it all to the touch.
"Yeah?", you sighed, numb, thoughtless, just like he wanted you.
"Mhm," he hummed in affirmation, "Already so needy, huh?"
His lips went lower, hand flat on the middle of your back to hold your body up and finding his way to your breasts, covering in licks and kisses as you sighed along to every single one. He was in cloud 9, finally able to touch you as he'd always wanted. In every way he saw useless men attempt to.
You became antsy quickly after that. He was sure you could feel his hardness under you, especially when you'd readjust yourself on his lap, huffing when his hold on you gave you no freedom to move and find some friction against him. It was unspoken, but he was in charge here. Your pleasure was entirely his responsibility, and he'd choose exactly how he'd give it to you.
After all, he knew you better than you knew yourself.
"Take me to your room," you mumbled in between heavy breaths, already exhausted with lust.
Without a second to hesitate, Jungkook's hands went under your thighs, standing up as he lifted you up, your legs wrapping around his waist. The trip was a short one, ending with you sitting at the edge of his bed while he stood before you, hand on your chin to ensure you'd look up at him.
And the sight made him crazy.
There was not a single thought behind those eyes, only unadulterated lust staring up at him.
He mindlessly thumbed his way up to your lower lip, clawing at it softly in a silent command for your mouth to open and allow him in. And to no one's surprise, you took him in, suckling lightly at the digit as you continued looking up at him, faux innocent look in your eyes.
A silent groan left him at the act, knowing that this would be what you looked like if you were to be good for him and get some other part for him in your mouth. But even the mere finger sucking had him fighting for his life. He pressed his thumb into your tongue, pushing back a little and getting a slight gag out of you before you continued in your adamant sucking.
"Fuck," he muttered.
Then he used that same hand to pull your face towards his own, leaning down a bit to meet you in the middle.
While the kiss in the living room had already been nasty enough for his liking, this one was nothing if not depraved. Your tongues met in the middle, before any lip action could actually happen. It involved a lot of teeth knocking and needy sounds released against each other, but Jungkook thrived off this neediness. Knowing you wanted him so badly that you lost all inhibitions, all sense of self — it made him dizzy with desire.
Mid kiss, he began lowering himself on the floor, pulling your neck down with him so you'd angle down, keeping your lips connected despite the newfound discrepancy in height. When the kiss finally had to be broken, he immediately latched onto the bare skin of your legs, hands itching to pull off your shorts and panties down (thankfully, you were still lucid enough to lift your hips and aid him in this). And then he was finally met with the sight he'd been craving to bury himself in for months.
It was plush, slightly swollen with desire and dripping with arousal, staring back at him as he attempted to hold back.
He dove in without a single second-thought, hands opening your legs far enough to find himself his rightful spot between them.
This. This was all he'd think about as he'd watch you date dumbass after dumbass, left displeased by every single one no matter how hard you tried to find at least a single competent one.
He gave you everything he had in him, licking at the expanse of your cunt before stopping at your clit and giving it special attention. His hands gripped at your thighs, angling you so you'd lay back on the bed as he had some alone time with your pussy. Your hands pulled at his hair, maybe too harshly, but he couldn't feel anything but bliss at that moment.
Your taste, your smell, your touch, it was all taking over his mind. This had been all he thought about night after night, watching your failed dates and hoping he'd be the next one on the list. He knew exactly how to please you, both from innate knowledge and from how much he'd studied you these past months.
"F-fuck, you nose ..." you cried out when it accidentally rubbed at your clit, intensifying its movements after your reaction.
"Taste so good, baby," he mumbled.
It was impossible to ignore his own arousal now, allowing himself to rub against the side of the mattress while he continued to lick and suck at you. His mind was fuzzy, completely overtaken by the pleasure your touch, your taste, your smell, your sounds, you were giving him.
When you came, he still couldn't stop himself. He continued lapping at you, drunk in the taste and far too blissed out to process that the current pulling of his hair meant you were too sensitive to receive more.
When your whines got louder, he finally let you go, sitting back on the floor as he caught his breath.
Worth it.
"You're insane," you gasped between heavy breaths.
But he was too busy licking at any leftover essence dripping on his chin, smirking when you gaped at him.
"You did this to me," he rebutted, "Maybe don't seduce me next time," and then he climbed back on the bed, taking his rightful place above you as he kissed you once more, tongue in first to ensure you got a taste of yourself.
Immediately, your legs wrapped around him, forcing him down onto your bare center and encouraging to bump his hips against yours. His hands intervened, working at his sweats as fast as he could so he could finally get that skin-to-skin contact he'd been craving. With your feet, you haphazardly tried to aid him in pushing them off, with them ending up at his ankles and ultimately pushed off by his own feet. Separation seemed to be offensive to him, refusing to disconnect his lips from some part of your body at any time.
"'m gonna fuck you now, okay, baby?", he muttered, landing one last kiss on your lips.
"Like this? Or do you wanna-"
"Mm, like this. Wanna see you," he said as if it was the most obvious thing ever (which, fairly, to him it was).
He didn't bother with a condom, knowing you were on birth control after one of the many flirty late-night conversations you'd had leading up to this night (though he already had this knowledge through his secretive means).
Entering you could not be measured nor compared to any other experience. He'd known the event would be ruinous, but his mind could not have ever come close to reality.
Your eyes practically rolled back when he bottomed out, giving him a sight that he could never forget. Part of him wanted to reach down to his sweats and pull out his phone from his pocket, maybe take a picture, set it as his lockscreen and utilize it any time you weren't around.
But the thought left him when you whined at him to move, claiming you needed him.
Your nails dragged down his back as he began hammering in, making him wince at the painful pleasure. Burying his head in your neck, he kissed at the skin there, groaning when you wrapped your legs tighter around his waist, pulling yourself as close as possible whilst attempting to move against him.
"Feel so fucking good," he grunted, "Made for me, huh? You were just waiting for me to fuck you, huh, baby? Needed someone who knew how to make you feel good."
He was telling on himself a bit, but he didn't care. He needed to assert his place over every man that'd ever touched you before. Needed to confirm it for both you and him.
"Yes!," you cried out, "So good, fuck."
Your words were mostly nonsensical babbles after that, with the occasional curse or sigh of his name mixed in.
Jungkook was in paradise. This was all he'd wanted ever since his eyes landed on you. The feeling of your pulse surrounding his cock made his eyes roll back, making him struggle to keep up with the euphoric sensations you were giving him. He now understood why every man that landed on your bed was unable to please you. You simply rendered them boneless vessels of bliss.
"God, never letting you go after this. You know that, right? All mine," he rambled, truth spilling from his lips.
But you liked it. Your nails dug into his back, head nodding feverishly in agreement at his words.
"Mhm. Yours, fuck. Please don't stop ..."
He groaned, further burying his head in your neck and pressing himself up as close as humanly possible. Any distance between you felt like a burn to him.
His orgasm approached, but he knew the telltale signs of your own by memory. You were right there with him.
"Feels so fucking good, gorgeous. She's gripping me so hard, fuck. She's gonna cum for me, hmm? Wanna see you cum, pretty," he panted out.
You wailed when his thumb made its way between you, nudging at you lightly and teasingly enough to have you seeing stars. The movements of his hips never seized, barely able to move with how tight you were but still working you to completion.
When you came, you dragged him down with you, sighing out words that made him lose his mind.
"Cum inside ... Please. Wanna feel it," and just like that, Jungkook lost himself in you, filling you to the brim with no shame.
His hips kept slapping against the back of your thighs, chaffing skin forming due to the friction. But the feeling took the backseat in the midst of bliss.
Jungkook allowed himself to lay his body next to yours afterwards, giving you the role of little spoon as he pulled you as close as possible, with your head lying happily on his bicep.
Multiple pecks landed on your lips, chuckling when you groaned at him pulling out.
"You're crazy," you giggled, kissing his nose and simultaneously melting his heart in the process.
He shrugged, playing it off, "Had to make my girl feel good."
"Oh? Your girl?", you teased.
He engulfed you in his arms, flipping you so you'd lay under him, both arms caging you beneath him, "You're kind of mine now, in case that wasn't clear."
It was voiced as a joke, but he meant it.
"No complaints here," you giggled, kissing him as confirmation.
Pleased, he sat the two of you up, patting your hip in a comforting manner.
"C'mon, baby, go pee. I'll be waiting here with a clean change of sheets, okay?"
And with that, you practically skipped away, giving him a few kisses in that post-coital bliss before losing him to the other side of the bathroom connected to his bedroom.
Before bothering to throw off the sheets, Jungkook looked over his shoulder, making sure you were out of sight. He reached under his mattress, collecting the old phone and tablet through which he'd grown accustomed to surveilling you with, chuckling to himself as he turned them off, giving them a silent goodbye before throwing them into the trash.
He wouldn't be needing them anymore.

Jungkook had planned to stick to his word.
When he swore to himself that he'd give you privacy, trust you and let you exist without his constant supervision, he had truly meant it. However, as it usually happened, he was able to create nonsensical logistics in order to go back on his word.
It's not like he watched over you as he did before meeting you, though! He truly did give you your privacy — well, to some extent.
Any time you left his apartment, landing a sweet kiss on his cheek and informing him you'd be out with some friends, he restrained (despite the tiny dress you'd be wearing, letting him know you'd be garnering far too much attention from onlookers), wanting you to have fun with your friends without his watchful eyes (even if you wouldn't realize he had the ability to track you anyway). But he held back, trusting you to go and head back to your own bed afterwards, sending him a text goodnight with a cute kissy emoji attached.
When you'd be too preoccupied with your phone, rather than checking your texts through his burner phone, he'd nuzzle into your shoulder, happy at your indifference of him eyeing your screen (where he'd usually just find you playing some silly phone game or texting your friends).
However, it was under the dumbest circumstances possible that Jungkook just couldn't help himself in invading your privacy.
And this was any time you spent the night alone in your apartment rather than in his.
Any time you slept away from each other, he just needed to take a peak, to access that hidden camera he just refused to get rid of and get a look at the little show you'd put for him (all without your knowledge).

- DAY 1 💌 , bf!shadow, hurt/comfort, if u saw me post this already no u didn’t 🤫
the apartment was quiet, you and Shadow sat across from each other on the bed legs loosely folded, a comfortable distance between you. the dim lighting cast a soft glow over his dark fur, highlighting the sharp edges of his features
but tonight, it was different
you had noticed it before how sometimes, no matter how close you were Shadow seemed miles away. and it had been happening more often lately.
the silence stretched on between you and Shadow, heavier than before. there were moments when he still slipped away, moments when his thoughts pulled him somewhere you couldn’t follow.
and it hurt.
it wasn’t something you wanted to admit, even to yourself. you knew Shadow wasn’t the type to be openly affectionate and you had never expected him to be. but when he pulled away, when his eyes drifted past you like he wasn’t really there it made you wonder if you were fooling yourself. If what you had with him was real
or if he was just holding on out of convenience
you sat on the bed knees pulled up to your chest, watching him as he stared out the window. his posture was tense, his mind clearly somewhere else. the city lights reflected in his eyes but you could tell he wasn’t seeing any of it
Shadow had always been distant. you knew that from the start. but knowing it and feeling it were two very different things
Shadow was beside you close enough that you could feel his presence but not close enough to feel him. not in the way you wanted
you had always been there for him. when he became lost in his head, you stayed. when his nightmares woke him in the middle of the night, you never asked questions you just reached for him letting him know you were there for him. when he disappeared for hours, sometimes days, you never demanded explanations. you simply waited.
but how long could you keep waiting?
“You’re thinking too much again” Shadow said his voice pulling you from your thoughts
you glanced at him. he was looking at you now but not in the way you wanted. he could always tell when something was on your mind but he never reached for you first.
you swallowed your fingers gripping the blanket. “Do you even care about me Shadow?”
the words felt heavier the moment they left your mouth. Shadow stiffened his red eyes narrowing slightly not in anger but in confusion
“Why would you ask that?” he said
you exhaled, shaking your head. “Because you never show it” you admitted your voice quieter now. “I’m always here for you. Always. And I don’t expect you to change who you are but… sometimes I wonder if this even means anything to you. If I mean anything to you.”
Shadow was silent. as if he was processing your words but the longer the silence stretched the more that ache in your chest deepened
his jaw tightened and for a second, you thought he might look away.
Shadow exhaled sharply his hand running over his quills. he looked at you for a long moment. slowly hesitantly he reached out
Shadow’s fingers curled over yours
and it broke you.
you had wanted this for so long. to feel him reach for you, even in the smallest of ways. to know that he cared, but now that it was happening, all it did was make your chest ache.
because it took this. It took you questioning everything, it took you feeling empty, for him to finally respond.
a quiet, shaky breath escaped you, and before you could stop it, tears forming in your eyes, blurring your vision as your fingers twitched beneath his
Shadow’s gaze sharpened immediately. “Why are you crying?” his voice wasn’t stern or harsh, no, it was soft
you tried to pull your hand away, but he didn’t let go.
“I don’t know” you whispered, though you did. you knew exactly why.
Shadow frowned, his grip on your hand tightening slightly not enough to hurt, just enough to keep you there. “You do.”
you let out a quiet, humorless laugh, blinking back the tears even as they slipped down your cheeks. “Because it shouldn’t have taken this for you to show that you care.”
Shadow stiffened and for once, he had nothing to say
you shook your head, your voice breaking as you continued. “I’ve been here this whole time Shadow. Always waiting. Always hoping. And you never…” Your breath hitched, the ache in your chest spreading. “It feels like you never needed me the way I needed you.”
his grip on your hand loosened. his ears flicked back, his face unreadable. “That’s not true.”
“Isn’t it?” you asked, wiping at your eyes though the tears wouldn’t stop. “I feel like I’m always the one reaching out. Always the one holding on. And I kept telling myself it was enough just to be near you but it’s not. I’m not.”
the words came tumbling out before you could stop them, years worth of silence unraveling at once. Shadow didn’t move, didn’t speak, and that only made it worse.
a sharp breath left Shadow’s lips, his fingers twitched like he wanted to reach for you again, but something stopped him. his own hesitation. his own walls.
you gently pulled your hand from his grasp and this time, he let you. “I just… need some time” you whispered
Shadow’s expression was unreadable, but there was something behind his eyes something like regret. he nodded slowly, as if understanding that for once this was something he couldn’t fix with silence.
and as you turned away, curling into yourself on the bed you wondered if you had finally reached the point where trying just wasn’t enough anymore.
you lay there curled into yourself, staring at the wall, the weight of everything of your love, your longing, your loneliness weigh heavy on your chest. you had always told yourself you could handle it, that just being with Shadow was enough.
you weren’t sure how much time passed before you felt the bed shift behind you. a familiar warmth pressed close, hesitant at first, before strong arms wrapped around you, pulling you into him.
you sucked in a sharp breath as Shadow buried his face against the back of your neck, his grip tightening around your waist as if afraid you would slip through his fingers. his quills brushed against your skin ticklish but comforting
then barely above a whisper so soft you almost didn’t catch it came his voice.
“…I’m sorry.”
you squeezed your eyes shut, your breath shuddering as his words ghosted over your skin. Shadow was not someone who apologized easily. but here he was wrapped around you holding you like he was afraid of losing you
“I’m sorry” he murmured again, “For making you feel like this.”
your body trembling slightly against his. his grip only tightened in response.
then, warm lips pressed against your shoulder. a soft kiss . then another. and another.
each one felt like an apology, a silent plea for you to stay to understand.
Shadow wasn’t good with words, but this was something he could give. his touch, his presence, his warmth.
“I do need you” he whispered against your skin, his lips trailing up to the back of your neck. “I don’t always know how to show it, but I do.”
your chest ached, your hands gripping his arms where they circled you
you turned slightly in his arms, just enough to meet his face. his crimson eyes were softer now
he didn’t speak. he just leaned in, pressing his forehead to yours, breathing you in
you swallowed hard, your hands resting lightly over his as he held you.
Shadow exhaled, his grip on you tightening. “you’re always there for me” he murmured against your hair. “now let me be here for you”
your fingers brushing lightly over his chest. his eyes met yours
“I know I don’t always show it the way you need me to” he admitted his voice lower now, rough. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t feel it.” His hand lifted to cup the side of your face, his thumb brushing along your cheek. “I do.”
your chest tightened at the sincerity in his voice. leaning into his touch.
Shadow held your gaze for a moment, then slowly pressed his forehead to yours, closing his eyes. his other hand found yours, fingers lacing between yours.
“I don’t know how to be the kind of person who says things outright” he continued, “But I want you and choose you, Every time.” he pulled back just enough to look at you again, his crimson eyes steady. “And that’s never going to change.”
you let out a shaky breath, nodding as you squeezed his hand in reassurance
Shadow studied you for a moment longer before leaning in, pressing a slow, kiss against your lips no urgency, no hesitation, just certainty.
when he pulled away he tucked you back into his arms, holding you close. “I love you” he murmured, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it. “Always.”

Travelling back in time is an accident. Harry isn't going to waste it.
Harry glances at the calendar and grimaces. He can't go to Knockturn today. Hogwarts just let out for Summer holidays, and he's already decided to avoid the alleys until school term starts. Just in case... well. Just in case.
He never thought there would come a day that he missed Voldemort's soul pressing alongside his own, but it would make things simpler. If he could peer into Voldemort's mind, he wouldn't have to go about things the old fashioned way. As it is, one of his spies is twenty minutes late, and he can't snatch him from work on the off chance that children are wondering around places they shouldn't be.
Burke's still alive, at least. Harry would feel his death.
It does nothing for his current situation. There will be an attack today. 3 July, 1973 was significant. The day Voldemort's attacks went from targeting the Knights of Walpurgis' political opponents to involving the public.
He just can't remember where.
He knows this. He knows he does. But the time magic takes knowledge, seemingly at random, until he's left with bits of the puzzle. Harry knows Voldemort's broken his soul into pieces, but he no longer remembers what those pieces are called. He doesn't know what they're contained in, either, except one: Slytherin's locket.
Harry really needs to get a move on with this whole defeating Voldemort early thing before he forgets who he is. Forgets why he needs to.
He takes a deep breath. There's nothing for it. Diagon and Hogsmeade are the most obvious places to stage a first attack. Diagon is the more dramatic option, though Hogsmeade would strike fear, especially just a day after the children have left the station. Which one...
Fuck. He's got no time for guessing games, for hoping he knows Voldemort well enough to predict him. The Voldemort of this time is more politically minded than the one Harry defeated, and he's losing information by the day. Who knows how much he's forgotten about his Voldemort.
He needs Burke. He needs the bloody information.
Snape would be home, wouldn't he? His mother's still alive. There was no chance Lily Evans would be sulking about Knockturn. And the Marauders? No...
It should be safe enough.
It's a risk. If he sees one of them, he's going to screw up spectacularly. He has to steer clear.
Too bad he's still got a saving people thing.
He twists through the wards and lands at the apparition point. A moment later, the screaming starts.
Turns out he doesn't need his spy for this after all.
He runs towards the shouts, wand at the ready.
He puts it to good use.
"Evans?" Charlus calls out. "Is that you?"
Harry grimaces and keeps walking. Ever since he saved Charlus's baby brother in the Dark sects first Diagon Alley attack, Charlus Potter has been dogging his steps. The very last thing he wants is the be associated with this family. He already only manages to avoid being labeled a Potter by virtue of using the Sleekeazy's hair potions to settle the characteristic chaos of his hair.
If anyone can recognise its use, it is the inventor. Charlus dared to call him "cousin," before Harry sharply corrected him. He hasn't tried since, but he still has that gleam in his eyes. That set to his jaw.
The famous Potter stubbornness. Harry would be warmed by the fact that it exists outside of himself (and he is, truly, because even if he will never claim them as such, he has family here), but it's causing issues.
"Is that him, darling?" Another voice rings out, clear and lovely. Harry keeps moving along, heedless.
"Yes love, that's our errant Potter-"
Harry spins with a snarl. "I told you," he says, stepping forward to stab his wand into Charlus' chest, the threat bald, "my name is Evans. I want nothing to do with you or your family. I'm a muggleborn, for Merlin's sake."
The woman beside Charlus looks at Harry with wide grey eyes. Aside from their shade, she looks a great deal like Bellatrix LeStrange one day will. Her hair is carefully controlled, brown rather than black, and she's dressed conservatively, as is appropriate for the time period, but. She's certainly a Black.
"Are you quite sure he's yours, darling?" she near-purrs, meeting Harry's burning gaze with a fire of her own. Like recognises like. Black madness sparks in them both.
It has to be Dorea Black. Her arm is linked with Charlus', and she calls him darling. His grandmother.
He turns on his heel and flees.
Pretends the lump in his throat is from fear instead of longing.
Voldemort's yew wand twirls through his fingers as he considers the man on his knees.
Octavian Nott has always been reliable, yet...
"Are you the only one alive?"
Nott's shoulders draw tight.
"No, Vo-" Voldemort presses his magic around the proud little pureblood who dares think to say his name after he's failed. As if he's earned the privilege. "My Lord."
"And where are the others, Octavian?"
"I don't know, My Lord," Nott tells the ground. It's clear from his inflection that his teeth are gritted.
"Oh?"
"The... the vigilante put something around each of their necks. Portkeys. He said the activation phrase when I was the only one left. They... vanished."
Voldemort's methodical movements pause. The mysterious new player on the board has kidnapped his soldiers?
Well. It was an effective tactic, to be sure, but why not simply kill them? Was it weakness, or strategy?
He couldn't help but assume it was the latter. The man - and he was that from the many memory's Voldemort's stolen, though he remains cloaked - was always a move ahead. He met Voldemort's attacks each time.
It was exhilarating. Infuriating, too. The only way his every move could be so neatly countered was a spy. Yet even after he began limiting plans to his Inner Circle, the Knights, this man still knew what he would do...
"What else?" he presses, impatience growing.
"He knocked out five men with a single stunner. It... it seemed to split, my Lord, midcast. And..."
Nott truly is testing his leniency tonight. "You will not like what happens if I have need to prompt you again, Octavian."
A shudder. How positively plebian. "I apologise, My Lord. I simply do not wish to give you incorrect information."
"It just... sounded as though the portkey passphrase was in parseltongue."
Voldemort stares down at his head. Nott's been with him for a very long time. He knows what parseltongue sounds like.
Still, Voldemort must be sure.
"Look at me."
The man does speak parseltongue.
The words "fuck you" spill prettily past concealed lips.
Voldemort obsesses.
The more he learns, the more his fascination grows.
The man performs feats of magic that surprise and delight. Simple things, weaponised. Magical control the likes of which Voldemort has rarely sought to achieve. From fiendfyre, yes, but basic spellwork...
He tries to split a stunning spell. He can still only manage three branches, and they're difficult to aim.
Voldemort keeps trying.
Keeps hunting, too.
The first time he meets him on a battlefield, Voldemort shreds the spell that normally hides his vigilante. The haze cloaking features fractures.
His eyes are unforgivably green. Voldemort almost wishes he would cast the killing curse, just to see how the shade compares side by side.
Victory. He hadn't even had to fight for the other's identity. He tells himself it isn't a disappointment. He can feel the magic this man radiates. Lord Voldemort does not need to be convinced he isn't weak.
He dips his head politely, never letting his eyes stray from that brilliant shade. "Lord Voldemort," he introduces.
One beat.
Two.
Manners, he thinks mildly.
"Harry Evans," his opponent rasps out. It sounds like he hasn't talked to anybody in some time. Voldemort notes the name. Muggleborn, perhaps? Or a half-blood, like him?
Voldemort is hungry to know more. He licks his lips. Bright eyes dart to the motion, then rise back to meet his. A silly mistake. Voldemort tears into his mind.
Or, he tries to.
Blankness meets him. Not fog. Not a wall. Nothingness.
After some heavy-handed prodding, Voldemort pulls back before he is lost in the abyss.
An occlumens as well, then.
He ducks a blasting curse shot at his head.
Time to play.
Thing is, as much as Voldemort likes to play with his food, he's always been a thief at heart.
He wants to steal this man - this Harry Evans - more than he wants to break him.
He leaves with wounds his healer must tend to. They require dittany not to scar. He accepts it for the two large, arched marks. The small one, though - a knife wound, of all things - he keeps. He can rid himself of it later.
For now, though, he has something to press when he thinks of Harry.
Besides, he's not the only one to have left with marks. If Harry is smart, he will bear his well. If not... well, Lord Voldemort is generous. He can always give him more.
His men have standing orders to flee when they see him. He's still down seventeen fighters, stolen by Harry. The next time they dare to linger, he gets three more.
It's annoying to have his pawns taken. Especially because he does not know why.
Harry could ransom them to their rich families. Could try and use them as leverage over Voldemort. Could even just kill them: but he doesn't. Voldemort can tell that much from the Dark Mark. The fact he can't communicate with them or plot their locations is interesting. Unsettling, too. The magic of his mark, circumvented.
It's been a long time since he has gotten stuck on a puzzle.
He thrills at the challenge.
He next sees Harry in his human skin. The other is in Knockturn, just coming out of a shop.
How rare. He's not often spotted in public unless he's dismantling Voldemort's plans.
"Hello," he greets politely. Those green eyes slant over to him, then catch. Like he recognises Lord Voldemort even in this pitiful mask. A part of him delights at the notion, even as he double checks his magic. It remains tucked tight to his body.
"Hello," Harry breathes back.
Voldemort barely suppresses a frown. Is the other attracted to him like this? A pity. He wouldn't think Harry one to fall for a pretty face.
Still, it could prove useful... imagine what information he could pull on a date...
Green eyes trace his features intently. Voldemort is no longer used to being examined in such a way. And then-
Then Harry's magic lashes out at him without the aid of a wand, and the glamour is ripped from Voldemort's skin. He hisses in discomfort at the sensation, taking a step forward and pressing long nails to Harry's throat.
Fingers catch around his wrist before he can make contact. Somehow, Harry is strong enough to hold him in place. Strengthening rituals rendered void. Just what was this man?
The hold does nothing to stop Voldemort from stepping into him. From leaning close to his ear once they're chest to chest and hissing, low in threat, "That was rude, Harry."
The chest pressed to his moves. A laugh trembles out of Harry's throat. He sounds a touch mad. Just look what Voldemort's reduced him to...
"Sorry," he lies. "Were you doing some shopping?"
"No."
Harry hums, disbelieving. Voldemort licks his lips and stares at the neck his fingers have been denied. He wonders how much blood he can draw with a bite before Harry manages to escape.
Harry has a habit of vanishing all the marks he gives him. Such an ungrateful creature.
If given half a chance, Voldemort will bite a collar around his throat.
Harry can't breathe.
He doesn't know how it's come to this. He doesn't understand.
Voldemort's mouth is hot and urgent against his. Nails dig into his hip and back. One of Harry's hands is angling Voldemort's chin.
Voldemort lets him. Tips into his touch. Darts a tongue out to taste him.
He shivers.
Isn't he meant to be destroying Voldemort?
A wicked thought catches in his mind.
Can I destroy Voldemort like this?
Long, powerful fingers trace a burning path up his thigh.
Undo him with my touch?
He takes Voldemort in hand.
Unmake him with my mouth?
Slots teeth against his neck when Voldemort jerks. Scrapes them down when the Dark Lord shudders.
Well. It's not a plan he's thought up, before, but-
It's worth a try, isn't it?
au where auror harry potter ends up in the marauders time period, right by the beginning of voldemort’s rise.
harry potter who avoids hogwarts by all means (the memories are too painful) and instead tries to take down voldemort and his death eaters by himself.
harry who drops his last name in favor of the common muggle last name “evans” to completely separate any ties to the potters (for their sakes.)
harry evans who keeps his distance from his mom, the marauders, and snape because he knows if he sees them he’s going to ruin something.
instead, harry evans catches the attention of the potter family (who is convinced he is a long lost heir), the blacks (who start to suspect he is a new up and coming darm lord), dumbledore (who believes the same), and the dark lord himself (who is intrigued by this mysteriously strong man thwarting his every move.)

Confession-Alejandro Balde
Wearning:+18,sweet smut.
It was late, and the rain was falling gently on the streets of Barcelona as you clutched your phone in your hands, your heart shattered by yet another lie. The proof was right there, in front of your eyes messages, photos, details that left no room for doubt. He had cheated on you. Again.
You felt foolish, exhausted, drained. How much longer were you going to stay in this toxic relationship, hoping he would change?
A knock at the door made you jump. You already knew who it was.
Alejandro stood there, his hoodie slightly damp from the rain, his eyes burning with restrained anger. He looked at you for a moment, then, without saying a word, pulled you into his arms.
"You don’t deserve this," he whispered against your hair.
You broke down in tears, letting all the pain flow out, just like the rain streaming down the windows. Alejandro didn’t let go, not even for a second.
"I don’t understand why I keep hurting myself," you murmured, your voice breaking.
He pulled back slightly, cupping your face in his hands. His dark eyes were intense, filled with a feeling you couldn’t quite decipher yet.
"Because you love him," he answered, a trace of bitterness in his tone. "But he doesn’t know what it means to love you."
Your breath hitched for a moment."Ale…"
He shook his head, taking a deep breath as if he was about to say something he had been holding back for too long.
"I’ve seen you suffer too many times, Y/N. I’ve watched you forgive, hope, stay when you should have walked away." He paused, his thumb gently brushing against your cheek. "And I realized I can’t stand by and watch anymore."
Your heart pounded wildly.
"I love you," he confessed, his voice trembling but sure. "And I have for a long time. I just always thought you deserved someone better than me… but then I realized that anyone would be better than him."
He gave you space to pull away, to refuse, to deny. But you didn’t. Because in that moment, with his hands holding you as if you were the most precious thing in the world, you felt a truth you had never dared to face before:
Alejandro was everything your ex wasn’t.
And maybe, he was exactly what you had needed all along.
You look at him for a while and then finally kiss him. He responded almost immediately, kissing you back hungrily, as if he could not believe that this was finally happening. His hands roamed across your body possessively, pulling you closer to him as if he wanted to fuse your body into his.
You straddled him without breaking the kiss. He groaned, his hands gripping your waist as you straddled him, his body reacting to you. He deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth passionately. Alejandro shifted you a little so you were fully sitting on his lap, and could feel his excitement growing as your body pressed against him.
You moaned and clung to him as you kissed him more passionately. He broke the kiss for a moment, his breathing ragged, and looked at you with dark eyes filled with desire.
"You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this," he murmured, his hands roaming across your back, as if trying to memorize every curve of your body. Without warning, he flipped you both over so you were now laying on the couch, with him hovering over you.
You look at him smiling and you let him fall on your body hugging him while you caressed his hair and every now and then you gave him sweet kisses on his face. He buried his face in your neck, nuzzling and breathing you in. His body was heavy on you, but it felt safe and comforting.
His hands roamed your body, sliding underneath your shirt and caressing your bare back. He let out a low moan, as if just the touch of your skin was enough to make him lose his mind. "You drive me crazy, you know that?" He murmured, his lips brushing against your collarbone. He began to kiss and lick your skin, his teeth grazing along your neck, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. His hands continued to roam over your body, as if he couldn’t get enough of you.
You could feel his arousal, hard and wanting, pressed against you, and it made you shiver with anticipation. You pulled him closer, your fingers tangling in his hair. He responded immediately to your touch, his body pressing against yours even more. His hands were everywhere, as his mouth latched onto your skin, finding every sensitive spot that made you arch your back, and moan softly.
He nipped at your earlobe and then whispered in your ear, his voice deep and sensual, “I want you. I want you so bad it’s driving me crazy.” You shivered at his words, feeling a new wave of desire wash over you. You pulled him closer, kissing him hard and needy, as your body strained against his. He groaned, his hands sliding further down your body, exploring every curve as if marking you as his territory.
You wrapped your legs around his hips, wanting him even closer, wanting to feel every inch of his body against yours. He responded in kind, his own hips rolling against you as he kissed you deeply, his tongue tangling with yours.
Alejandro gently and delicately takes off your leggings and kisses your legs softly and then takes off your panties, he moans at the sight. He looked at you, his eyes dark and heavy with desire. He ran his hands over your thighs, his touch a mix of gentle and possessive.
"You are so magnificent," he murmured, his voice hoarse, as he planted kisses along your legs, his lips sending shivers of pleasure through your body. Alejandro slowly made his way up, his hands sliding up to your hips, as he pulled you closer. He looked up at you, his eyes locking with yours, filled with an intensity you had never seen before.
He quickly takes off his sweatpants and boxers and slowly enters you. His hands gripped your thighs as he slowly entered you, his body trembling with desire. He let out a low moan, his eyes locked on yours, as if he couldn't look away.
He took a moment, his body completely enveloped in you, and you could feel his heart pounding against your chest. He leaned in, kissing you deeply, his body pressed against yours as if he couldn't get close enough. “You feel so good,” he says softly as he pushed his cock into you slowly and sensually.
You moan softly feeling his gentle, slow and sensual thrusts. Alejandro watched your face closely, his gaze taking in every single expression you made. He loved the way your body responded to his touch, the way your moans made him shiver.
His hands continued to roam your body, finding all the spots that made you arch your back, and squirm in pleasure. He was taking his time, wanting to make you feel every single moment, every single sensation.
“Ale” you moan softly as you still feel his slow and sensual thrusts. “faster” you murmur but Alejandro shakes his head. “There's time baby, I want to make you feel every inch of me inside you” he whispers softly kissing your forehead.
“You’re so beautiful, so perfect,” he murmured between kisses, his hands roaming over your body lovingly. “I’ve wanted this for so long, I can barely believe it’s real.”
Your heart beats fast at his words and you smile softly and then moan as you feel Alejandro slowly and sensually hitting your g-spot. “There it is,” he whispered, his eyes gleaming as he noted your reaction. He knew he had found the perfect spot, and he began to move himself even more to touch it more softly, slowly making you lose your mind.
“Keep your eyes on me,” he commanded. “Don’t look away.” You obeyed, your gaze locked with his as he continued to move inside you. His eyes were dark and intense, filled with so much emotion it took your breath away.
He bent down to kiss you again, his mouth devouring yours possessively. His movements became even more deliberate, as if he was trying to drive you crazy. Every inch of your body was on fire, ignited by the passion of his touch. Alejandro picked up the pace a little, his thrusts becoming deeper and more erratic, but he was still in control, still keeping the rhythm slow and sensual. He could feel your body reacting to his touch, your breathing ragged and heavy.
Alejandro watched you closely, his eyes never leaving yours, as if he was trying to burn this moment into his memory. His hands were everywhere, roaming your skin, touching every part of you as if he couldn’t get enough.
You moan softly, kissing his jaw lovingly. "Ale I'm coming" you whisper. “Let go, baby,” he whispered back. “I’ve got you, I’m here.”His hands gripped your thighs a little tighter, as he continued to move inside you, driving you closer and closer to the edge.
“Come for me,” he said, his voice low and sensual. “Come for me and I’ll catch you.” At his words you moan softly and come. With two more thrusts he pulls out and comes on your belly sighing loudly.
He groans at the sight. Alejandro reaches out and takes the rag that was on the furniture and removes his cum from you and then throws the rag on the floor. Alejandro collapsed beside you, his body glistening with sweat, his breathing ragged. He pulled you closer, holding you tightly in his arms. “That was… incredible,” he murmured, his voice hoarse and filled with emotion.
Alejandro looked at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of awe and satisfaction. He gently kissed your forehead, his fingers tracing a path across your skin as if he couldn’t get enough of you. You smile sweetly and hug him.
He held you close, relishing the feeling of you in his arms. He gently kissed the top of your head, inhaling the scent of your hair. "I can't believe that just happened," he murmured, still sounding slightly breathless. "I've dreamed of this for so long, and it was even better than I could have imagined.”
Alejandro hugged you tighter, feeling a wave of protectiveness wash over him. He never wanted to let you go. He wanted to keep you safe, keep you happy, and keep you close. His hand gently caressed your back, feeling the soft curves of your body. "I love you," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "I love you so much, and I always have. I just never thought it could be real."
Alejandro pulled back slightly, so he could look into your eyes. He wanted to make sure you knew how serious he was, how honest his words were. He cradled your face in his hands and searched your gaze, his expression filled with a mixture of vulnerable and intensity.

CREEP
part one
pairings: peeping jungwon x sister’s best friend female reader
warnings: jungwon is a peeping creep watching y/n piss, and shower, masturbation, slight descriptions of intentional self inflicted harm, mentions of blood, slight, but not really, dubcon from reader, oral fem receiving, peeping on her sleeping
overview: jungwon had a weird creepy obsession with peeping on his older sister’s best friend whenever she comes over. he’s done it for so long it became like a game that he didn’t get caught in…. until it wasn’t.
taglist🏷️ : @nayeoniiz
jungwon was sitting in the living room, working on one of his many assignments from university. he was in year one and if he wanted to be the best, he had to earn it. he was so focused on his work that he didn’t realize when his sister walked in, accompanied by her best friend y/n. jungwon studies were soon halted by his sister coming into close proximity of him.
“hey wonnie whatcha doing?” his sister asked, breaking his trance from his work. he looked up and his eyes met with both of the girls. a light red glow tinted his cheeks. the girls knew jungwon had a fat crush on y/n and it became apparent that they took joy in teasing him for fun.
to them, jungwon was this sweet little boy, always caught up in his studies. you could always find his face stuffed in a good book. but the reality of it was far more sinister. little did they know how pervy jungwon really was: waiting until the late hours of the night to sneak and creep on y/n at any given moment. there was one summer where y/n was changing into a swimsuit in the bathroom. jungwon was hidden in the bathtub, peeping through the crack on the shower curtain. he watched her undress from her clothes and slide into her bathing suit while he rubbed one out quietly to the scene that unfolded in front of him. no one knew that this ”innocent” boy had a dark, twisted secret and he liked to keep it that way. or so he thought he could.
jungwon was now averting his attention away from the girls, ignoring their teasing looks. “can you guys just leave me be? i’m studying for an important exam coming up,” jungwon said as he began to collect his belongings.
“aww is wonnie going away? you don’t wanna spend time with me anymore?” y/n taunted. she knew exactly how to rile this boy up. jungwon shook his head, quickly grabbing the rest of his things and fleeing from the situation. he ran straight up to his room, closing the door behind him. he leaned his back against the door, taking a few deep breaths trying to calm himself. his trousers felt tight and uncomfortable. he wasn’t surprised to see how visibly hard he was. he couldn’t help it. y/n looked too stunning, her skin unmarked, so beautifully soft. he just wanted to devour her.
he locked his door and made his way to his bed, placing his belongings on the floor next to him. he slid his hands in his pants and underwear, bringing them down to his ankles before grabbing the lotion from the nightstand next to his bed. he had to fix his little problem now.
he squeezed a decent amount of lotion onto his hand and grabbed his throbbing member. the cold sensation from the lotion caused him to hiss as he stroked it, images of y/n flashing in his head. from seeing her naked, her flawless skin being illuminated by the dull bathroom light, from her unknowing sleeping figure’s chest rising and falling with each breath she took, her lips parting with every snore. oh how he adored her. he quickened his pace, firmly stroking his member to every fleeting thought of y/n. he choked on a moan, keeping quiet so no one knew what he did behind closed doors.
then, his imagination took a turn. he started imagining himself stripping her naked, marking up her sweet, soft skin. he thought about how she tasted, what her insides felt like. it felt so good. and he was so, so close. rubbing his thumb against the slit on his tip, he couldn’t contain it any longer. he was reaching his climax. with a final stroke he came hard into his hands, his body convulsing as he muffled a moan, biting hard onto his bottom lip. he could taste something metallic in his mouth. fuck. he thought. he’s bleeding. he quickly wiped the mess he made of himself onto his clothes and took them off, tossing them into his dirty clothes hamper in the corner of his room. he looked into the mirror next to his dresser. his lip didn’t look that bad, but he needed to clean up quickly. he quietly and quickly rushed straight to the bathroom that was down the hall. he did not need to get caught running naked while his sister and y/n were downstairs. he locked himself in the bathroom, taking a nice hot shower to cleanse him of his sins. it felt good having the hot water running down his body. but, oh how he wished it was y/n’s hands touching him instead.
he washed up using his favorite body soap, then washed his hair afterwards.
after he got out and wrapped a towel around his waist, he stared into the foggy mirror. he wiped it so he could view his lip better, bringing his face close to inspect it better. it was swollen and a small slit was in the middle of his bottom lip. it was very noticeable. how was he supposed to hide this? how will he explain this if he was asked? in that moment an idea popped in his head. he’d fake an injury. he grabbed onto the shower curtain, and fell forward causing a loud bang on impact, knocking the wind out of him. the fall caused him to bite down on his lip and bleed some more.
he heard commotion from outside the door, it had to be the girls. a loud knock soon followed right afterwards. jungwon got up and looked at the scene. the shower curtain and rod was on the floor, trails of blood droplets as well. this was brilliant. the perfect cover up. he opened the bathroom door, drawing gasps from the girls. it was a sight to see. jungwon’s sister look petrified, her brother was bleeding from the mouth, and the bathroom was a wreck. “wonnie, oh my god! are you okay? i’m going to call mom. y/n, please help him!” his sister screamed, scattering away to call their mom.
y/n was at a loss for words. on one hand, she was concerned about the boy’s wellbeing. but on the other hand? she couldn’t help but observe him and inspect his every feature. this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a wet and bloody, half naked jungwon. his abs were glistening in the bathroom light, water mixed with blood dripping down his chin, his wet hair messily sticking to his forehead. and as bad as it sounds, he looked desirable to her right now.
jungwon’s face grew hot, drawing her out of her trance. she didn't realize how long she had been staring. she immediately took action, grabbing a face towel and wetting it with cold water to clean his busted lip. he winced in pain from the contact. “oh, i’m sorry!” y/n exclaimed.
“it’s fine. i’m fine,” jungwon reassured her as she continued to clean him up. jungwon’s sister came upstairs to let them know their mama won’t be back until later tomorrow morning, she’s working an overnight shift at the hospital tonight. “so it’s just us tonight?” y/n asked and his sister nodded. “yeah, i’m in charge and mom said to just clean the afflicted area and ice it,” she added, handing him an ice pack. he took it and put it on his lip, quickly thanking them both before heading to his room to get dressed and finish with his studies.
after a while, he checked the clock: 10pm. i should probably head to bed soon, he thought. as was getting ready to head to bed, he heard commotion outside his door. he cracked it slightly open and saw y/n standing there, already dressed in her pajamas and heading towards the bathroom. a sinister smile appeared on his face as he quietly tiptoed out his room and walked in the direction of his sister’s room, peaking in. his sister was sound asleep in bed. it was showtime baby. he quietly made his way to the direction of the bathroom, peering into the keyhole as his eyes landed on y/n. he watched as she slid her shorts down and sat on the toilet, his own shorts now growing tight around him. he watched as she wiped herself, pulled her clothes up and washed her hands before he quickly fled back into his room. he couldn’t risk getting caught like this. he closed his door softly and waited for her to pass by. he heard her footsteps creeping down the hallway, but they stopped right in front of his door. he panicked, but didn’t dare to make a sound.
a soft knock was heard from the other side. at first he ignored it, sliding into his bed and under the covers. “jungwon are you awake?” y/n called out to him, but he didn’t respond. he kept quiet, hoping she would leave soon. but then the doorknob jingled, twisting and the door creaked open. jungwon felt his heart pounding. oh no oh no. he thought. she was coming in. he turned his back to the door, feigning sleeplessness. he heard her footsteps come closer to his bedside. the mattress dipped behind him. this cannot be happening right now. this had to be a dream.
he felt her small hand resting upon his arm and her breath dangerously close to his ear. “i know you’re asleep, but today is the first time i’ve actually seen you outside of that nerdy facade you have,” she whispered into his ear. it sent shivers down his spine. he felt her hand snake under his shirt, her fingertips running against his abs. “i’ve never knew such a sweet boy like you was so beautifully built. it has to be from those taekwondo lessons you’ve been taking,” she added, her hands now playing with the hem of his shorts.
his member throbbed painfully, craving so badly to be touched. he couldn’t hold back any longer. he grabbed her hand, causing her to yelp from the sudden action. he turned to face her, examining her facial expressions. they both stared at one another intensely. “you don’t know how long i’ve wanted to do this,” he said, crashing his lips onto hers. it was rough but passionate. he spent so long, longing for this moment and here it finally was. he never believed in miracles until now. their lips danced amongst each other. her hands now snaking around his neck to bring him closer. he wrapped his arms around her waist, flipping himself on top of her. he trailed kissed down her jaw to her neck, sucking and nipping at her skin. he waited so long for this, he wantedㅡ no he needed to leave his mark. he wanted the world to know that he finally bagged y/n after all these years of pining for her. he left so many love bites on her skin before he moved to rid her of her shirt, trailing more kisses down her body. he took one of her breasts into his mouth, sucking and swirling his tongue gently on her nipple as he squeezed the unoccupied one with his free hand. small whines escaped from her lips, riling him up even more. he alternated between each breast, edging her on before trailing more marks down her abdomen. he licked a small streak down her navel until he reached the hem of her pants.
he paused and looked up at her, a silent glance for any sign of hesitation. she looked down at him, her breath hitching in her throat as she did so. “please wonnie..” she heaved out. a switch flipped inside his head. he didn’t know what came over himself, but he soon stripped her out of her shorts and underwear, teasingly kissing and sucking on her inner thighs. soft moans escaping her lips. “all those years of you teasing me,” jungwon rasped out against her skin. “now look at who's on the other end.” kissing close to her core, but never touching her there, was driving y/n crazy. she never knew there was a dark side to the kid she grew up with. teasing him all those years only for her to end up being the fool.
she wanted him to touch her so bad. “please wonnie, touch me!” she pleaded with him in a whispered yell.
he smirked, “as you wish princess.” he then licked between her flaps, she shivered from the warmth of his tongue on her dripping wet core. he licked up her juices that threatened to leak out. his tongue dancing on her clitoris. the sensation was magical to y/n. she intertwined her fingers into his hair, grabbing chunks of it as she buried his face deeper into his core. she had never felt this way before. it was all new to her as it was to jungwon. despite the fact that they were both virgins, jungwon seemed experienced in this field. he sucked gently on her clit, plunging two fingers into her core. her back arched from the pleasure. he plunged his fingers deep inside her, curling them as he thrusted them. his moves were precise, accurately hitting all the spots she didn’t know she had. yher moans grew louder with each movement, echoing throughout the room, but she didn’t care. it felt too good. how was he so good at this?
he quickened his pace, bringing her closer to her high as her body started shaking, a knot forming in the pit of her stomach and stretching throughout her body. it was exhilarating, her body trembling with every breath she took. she felt his fingers plunge into the depths of her insides, loving the feeling of how he rubbed her sweet spots. “oh wonnie… i’m gonna-,“ her sentence was cut short by a loud whined out moan of pleasure. her body jolting from the overstimulation, feeling his two digits speed increasing as he finger fucked her through her orgasm. she came hard into his mouth, her juices flowing all over his face as he kept his pace, licking up all her delicious juices. her toes curled as she rode out her high. her body shook from the remaining overwhelming pleasure. as she came down from her orgasm, jungwon placed a final kiss on her clit, peering his head up to make eye contact with her. “how was it, princess?” he asked sitting up. he made direct eye contact as he took his two digits and put them in his mouth, licking up the remainder of her juices off his fingers. she watched intensely, her body craving him more. “phenomenal,” she said honestly. she watched as he took off his shirt and then used it to clean her off before helping her get dressed. “you should probably head back. i’m sure my sister is up now from all the commotion,” jungwon teased, smiling widely knowing he had finally fulfilled one of his many fantasies. she nodded in agreement, pushing herself off his bed and wobbling to the door making jungwon laugh. he found it cute that she could barely walk straight just from the head he gave. he felt accomplished with himself.
right before she left she turned to face him, “wonnie, we should do this more often,” she shyly stated and jungwon’s smile held a dark vibe. it both frightened y/n, yet turned her on. she really liked this side of him.
“princess, this is only the beginning of something beautiful,” he said and with that she left his room, shutting the door behind her. when she got back to her best friend’s room, she noticed that she hadn’t woken up at all. guess she wasn’t loud enough after all. and with that she headed straight to bed, not knowing jungwon was once again creeping on her as she slept. you’re finally mine, y/n. he thought as he started at her sleeping through the crack of the door.
TO BE CONTINUED…..

Fluff request where reader does a prank and sneaks something cute on Sylus right before he goes out to the N109 Zone or a meeting with his business partners? Maybe like sneakily putting a cute lil pink bow on his hair and he only notices when everyones seen it😭 it could end in fluff or smut where he punishes her, you decide!❤️
𐙚 ౨ৎ ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── ۶ৎ 𐙚
Sylus always carried himself with an air of authority. From the crisp way he dressed to the effortless confidence in his stride, everything about him demanded respect. He was meticulous, calculated— someone who rarely let his guard down.
That's why, when you saw him walk out the door for an important business meeting with a tiny pink bow tucked into his silver hair, you had to bite your lip to keep from laughing.
It had been a harmless prank. Something small and silly. He had been too preoccupied reviewing his notes, barely glancing in the mirror before leaving and you? Well, you had just wanted to see if you could get away with it.
The answer was yes-for a while because Sylus did not notice at least, not until it was far too late.
The stares had started the moment he entered the conference room. At first he ignored them, people often stared at him out of respect, fear, admiration. But there was something different this time.
Muffled snickers. Averted gazes. A few of his colleagues coughing to cover up what I knew were suppressed laughs.
he frowned.
Then, just as he reached for the first document,he caught a glimpse of his reflection in the sleek, black surface of the table.
And there it was a small, delicate pink bow perched on his head like some ridiculous accessory.
his eye twitched.
Oh.
Oh, you were going to pay for this.
By the time Sylus returned home that evening, he was still wearing the bow.
You were in the bedroom, humming softly to yourself as you made the bed, completely unaware of the storm brewing behind you.
When you heard the door open, you turned with a bright smile.
"Oh, you're back! What do you want to eat-“
Everything shifted in an instant.
Before you could finish your sentence, a powerful force pinned you down onto the bed, the mattress dipping beneath you as you let out a startled gasp.
Your breath hitched, eyes widening in shock.
Sylus loomed over you, his crimson eyes gleaming with something dark and entirely too amused.
You opened your mouth, only for him to lean in, his voice a low murmur as he cut you off.
"Darling" he purred, his tone laced with dangerous amusement "did you think I wouldn't notice?"
Your gaze flickered to his still perfectly styled silver hair-and, to your horror, the pink bow was still there.
Oh.
Oh, you were in trouble.
You swallowed hard. "S-Sylus, I-"
"You” he interrupted, dragging his fingers along your wrist "are so very mean to me."
He sighed dramatically, as if truly wounded.
"You made me a laughingstock today."
Your face burned under his intense stare. "It—it was just a joke! I didn't think you'd actually-"
His eyes narrowed slightly.
Your words died in your throat. Then, with a slow, deliberate movement,Sylus crawled onto the bed.His presence was overwhelming, his weight pressing into the mattress as he caged you beneath him.
"You didn't think, did you?" he murmured, tilting his head. "and now I have to punish you for it."
You barely had time to react before you felt it—the pull of his Evol.A sudden, invisible force spread your legs apart, parting them farther and farther until Sylus easily slid between them, his hands lazily resting on either side of you.
You gasped, your face burning.
"S-Sylus—!"He smirked. Then, ever so slowly, he leaned down, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered,
"Let's see if you're still laughing now, little troublemaker."

fool for you — m. fushiguro
a/n: i love writing megumi as a cheesy lovesick idiot fool because he IS a cheesy lovesick idiot fool. an oblivious one, at that.
megumi didn't even intend to make a joke. he was being completely serious, talking in that deadpan, monotone voice that everyone around him was all too familiar with. he was talking about gojo, of course—he'd done something stupid, yet again.
despite his intentions (or rather, lack thereof), you thought what he said was funny. he was surprised when he heard you laugh; it was a sound that made him turn his head to the source of the noise, his face a mixture of flustered and confused.
"what? what did i do?" he asked, his eyes wide. he looked over your facial features, committing them all to memory without him even consciously thinking about it. christ, you looked—
"no, it's nothing," you answered, smiling at the boy. "it's just the way you said that just now was funny. sorry, i hope you didn't think i was laughing at you."
he was silent for a few seconds before realizing you had spoken; he blinked, coming back to himself.
god, what was going on with him? he was fine two seconds ago, but now he couldn't even look you in the eye. his stomach was doing some odd thing; he felt like he was simultaneously going to throw up and some, strange, other feeling that he wasn't sure how to describe.
"oh—no, i didn't think you were laughing at me. i just..." he paused, looking for his train of thought, "i didn't think what i said was very funny but, um—"
he mentally cursed himself, feeling like an idiot. why the hell couldn't he speak? why couldn't he look at you?
this had been happening a lot recently—the stuttering over his words, being unable to make eye contact you at certain moments—and with the way it's making him act, he wasn't sure if this an avenue he wanted to keep going down.
he took a breath, feeling his cheeks get hot. he ignored the it as he finished his sentence, "i'm glad i was able to make you laugh, i guess?"
jesus, he probably looked like an moron.
later, as he closed his eyes for bed, he couldn't stop thinking about that exchange. never in his life had he felt like he'd made such a complete and utter fool of himself, but he couldn't figure out why it bothered him so much. and that bothered him even more.
he replayed your laugh in his head over and over, the sound turning over in his mind like a lullaby in a music box. he wasn't sure why the thought of your laughing, the look on your face as you did so, struck him as much as it did.
and that wasn't the first time that had happened when it came to you, either, he reminded himself; there had been other moments when you'd done something that stirred up mysterious feelings inside him, like that one time you grabbed his hand to pull him along somewhere, or when you had slumped over on the train and fallen asleep on his shoulder. his mind was spinning now, keeping him from sleep.
what was it about you? everytime you done something or said something that he had found particularly...endearing...he felt the same feelings that he felt today: the warming of his cheeks, his stomach feeling like it was doing somersaults, his words tripping over his tongue. what was happening? why was he acting so unlike himself? why was he acting so—
his eyes shot open as he pieced everything together.
"oh god," he whispered to himself in the dark, staring up at the ceiling wide eyed and awake. as it finally settled into him why he'd been acting like so stupid around you lately, so completely out of character, he threw his hand up over his face and took a deep, loud breath.
oh god, he thought, repeating himself. i'm fucked.
