Up10tion reaction: hearing their s/o sing for the first time

So... It’s actually 4AM where I live and I’m definitely to tired to proof read this, so please don’t hate me. I will check the reaction tomorrow to see if I need to correct anything. Until then, I hope that you like the reaction. 

Jinhoo: He would smile at you so lovingly. Jinhoo would just stand and look at you for a few seconds, but then make you notice him. He would definitely love if you two just spend time together singing to different songs. 

Kuhn: He would have the most extra reaction out of all of the members. Kuhn would probably lay down on your sofa and just watch you cleaning. When you finally noticed him, he would do just the same face as in the gif, which would send you in a fit of laughter. He would compliment you later on though after you have calmed down.

Kogyeol: He would radiate so much love for you to be honest. When he heard you sing, he would be the fastest to run up to you to hug and compliment you on your singing voice. Kogyeol always loved to hear you talk and now he finally had an excuse to hear more of it, because he an ask you to sing for him. 

Wei: He would just stand in the corner and look/listen to you sing. When you finally noticed him, Wei would just be smiling cutely at you and tell you to continue singing. 

Bit-to: He would be a checky shit and send a video of himself with you in the background singing to the other members to show you off. If you noticed him filming you, then he would definitely ask you if it was alright for him to send the video to the others. But if you didn’t notice then this little would definitely send it to them, just so that he has an excuse to talk about you more. 

Wooshin: I think the first few seconds he would be in shock of actually hearing you sing, since you have always been really shy about it. He would really appreciate it, since you knew that he was coming over and the chance of him finding you singing was pretty high. Wooshin would definitely compliment you on your singing even if it wasn’t the best. Expect him to ask you often to sing for him from now on though. 

Sunyeol: He wouldn’t really know what he should do about hearing you sing. Sunyeol would know that you weren’t 100% confident in your voice, but he honestly thought that your voice was just fine. It wasn’t perfect, but still pleasant to listen too. After a while, he would just go up to you and tell you that your voice was really nice and that he really wanted to hear your voice more often. 

Gyujin: You were listening to music together and normally you would be really quiet while he always sag along to most of the songs. But today, for the first time, he heard you sing to one of your favourite songs. It wasn’t anything big, but for him it meant a lot that you trusted him enough to sing around him. 

Hwanhee: He would be almost the only member, who would just go up behind you and hug you. After that he would just turn up the volume of the music and make both of you sing and dance around the room. This would turn into a normal thing for the both of you over the next few weeks. 

Xiao: When he first heard you sing, he would never stop asking you to sing for him. Whenever you said no to singing for him, then he would try to bribe you with something like kisses, cuddles or a date to that new cafe that you want to go to.

You walked into school and your best friend, Bo, almost threw you sideways trying to greet you. “Hey!” You blurted at her while trying to get your balance back. She kept right on smiling like she hadn’t almost smooshed you into the floor. “Sorry. But I almost died waiting for you to get here!” She whispered excitedly. You smiled and rolled your eyes as she hooked arms with you and walked towards homeroom. “Did you really.” You asked sarcastically as Bo went right on talking. “So I was on Instagram last night stalking Nana’s pictures, leaving her all kinds of crazy messages- you know how we do- and she posts a picture of ya’ll getting ready to go out on Friday.” “Me and Nana?” “You and Nana.” “What picture was this?” You quickly pull out your phone, surprised you hadn’t seen the picture yourself. You went straight to Nana’s Instagram and saw the picture Bo was talking about. Someone, most likely Bo, had taken a photo of you and Nana, in your big t-shirts and fluffy headbands. You had both been caught off-guard, your bodies were facing front but your heads were turned around facing the camera, your hands holding a mascara wand, Nana’s holding a tube of lipstick, with mouths open as if shouting at the surprise photo. “Oh my god!” You exclaimed and cackled at the photo, “She posted this?!” “Why shouldn’t she?” “No reason.” You settled down, “I guess it’s funny. She looks cute enough in it. So what about it?” “Go in the comments.” You clicked on the comments and eyeballed them wondering what exactly you were supposed to be looking for, until you saw his screenname with the comment: Very Cute 😍 You couldn’t help but wonder if he meant the picture in general. Or just Nana. Or, more hopefully, you AND Nana. “Do you see it??” Bo squealed at you, shaking your arm. “I see it. So what?” You mumbled while trying not to smile. “Don’t you get it? No. You wouldn’t get it since you only get on Instagram on the weekends.” Bo rolled her eyes. It wasn’t like it was new news. You disciplined yourself for the sake of your schoolwork. You said to yourself that when you started high school, during the school week, you would only be active on one social media platform. You picked You Tube. Where you did DIYs, Study tips, and Book Reviews. Plus, you had to watch videos. You just had to. Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, all put together couldn’t beat YouTube in your mind. But, of course, the whole school seemed to LIVE on Instagram. So you missed out on a lot. You used to try and catch up on the weekends, but you got important news from Bo regardless, so you stopped bothering. This was the one time you wished you hadn’t though. Bo broke you out of your quick stream of thoughts. “He only ever comments on pictures with you in them.” Bo pressed her finger into your temple. Your eyes widened, feeling your heart already speed up at nothing. “Seriously? Are you sure?” “I swear. I swear on my Copic markers.” “You dork!” You laughed and started to move towards your seat. Bo sat right next to you. “But can’t you tell how serious I am? Listen. I only realized it myself last night! After I saw that comment something clicked in my head like ‘wait a minute. Déjà vu.’ So I go looking at all Nana’s pictures with you in it and I’m like ‘there he is. There he is again. There he is one more time.’ Girl, I’m so serious I started screaming, my brother came in the room and told me to shut up. We got in a whole fight about him talking to me all crazy- you know how he talks. I’m gonna stuff it with old socks or something if he keep yelling at me. Who does he think he is?” You amusedly listened to Bo’s conversation take a left turn as your mind started wheeling its own direction. You finally spoke up, “If he’s so busy commenting under all the pics with me in it…why doesn’t he even follow me on Instagram?” “What for? You hardly post and everybody knows you never on there anyway except in on somebody else’s page.” Bo laughed as if the answer was obvious. “Besides, you know Dongyeol. He’s a lil’ shy or whatever.” “He’s doesn’t seem that shy now.” You said out of the side of your mouth. You gestured towards the front door where Dongyeol had just walked in pretty cheerily with his arm around the shoulders of another girl classmate. Bo stifled a laugh at your sudden sour disposition.

“Jealous?” “Jealous of what?” You answered, trying not to scoff. You opened your notebook and began doodling. “Exactly. Your boyfriend is allowed to have friends. Don’t be that kind of obsessed.” Bo lingered around her chair without sitting down. You whipped your head around and stuck your tongue at nothing in particular. “I’m not any kind of obsessed.” “Except about him.” “I will make you eat this pencil.” You flatly threatened turning back around. Bo rolled her eyes at you before starting to walk away. “I’ll be right back.” You didn’t bother to answer her as she was already walking away anyway. You casually looked up and saw her sauntering towards Dongyeol, the girl classmate he walked in with, and his best friend, Hwanhee. You watched, out of the corner of your eye, Bo greet them casually and start talking mostly with the girl. They had a couple periods together, without you, so they were close enough for Bo to strike up random conversation. You watched Bo for a little longer as she and Hwanhee began to squabble louder and louder. You had a strong feeling of what was to come- “Y/N!” You heard your name getting called over the classroom noise. You looked over and saw both the girl, and Bo, urgently waving you over. You stood up to walk over and realized that Dongyeol was still sitting on his desktop, facing Hwanhee, who was seated at his desk, with the other classmate and Bo standing between the two. Your heart started to beat in your throat as you got closer to them. You saw Dongyeol take notice of you and then avert his eyes to the book he had previously put down on his desk. He thumbed the pages of it at his side before standing from his seated position on the desktop to sit properly in his chair. His back now turned slightly away from all of you. You tried to swallow your bitter feeling. “What is it, Bo?” “Hwanhee is over here saying you and J are talking! That he saw you two at a café this weekend sharing hot chocolate from the same straw!” Your jaw dropped. You had only met up with J this weekend to help him go over some notes for both of your’s AP World History exam this week. He said he’d treat you to a drink for helping him cram so last minute. Hwanhee must have seen you all when you were telling J that they messed up your drink order. You asked for a mocha latte with cinnamon and hazelnut syrup, but they gave you a mocha latte with vanilla. He took the drink from you saying he would drink it instead and then told the waiter about the mistake. “It wasn’t even a hot chocolate.” You answered plainly, with a slight scowl. Hwanhee was such a busy body. You didn’t necessarily hate him, but you wished he’d be more careful with his mouth. Especially with Dongyeol listening. You suddenly fought with yourself whether you wanted to clarify what had happened, or just let everyone squirm. What did you care? Dongyeol was currently avoiding even looking in your general direction and seemed to be mumbling under his breath as he scratched nonsense shapes in a page in his own notebook. Bo lightly shoved you with her mouth pinched and telling you to say something else as the other girl began talking over Hwanhee’s incessant chatter. “You shouldn’t talk about what you don’t know, Hwanhee! Especially about things like that.” Hwanhee suddenly stood up, “But you heard her say it from her own mouth!” “All she said was it wasn’t hot chocolate! I shared my water with Dongyeol this morning-does that mean we’re something too?” She seemed to be asking sarcastically. It kind of relieved you. You were about to thank her for her defense argument for you, when Dongyeol jumped into the conversation without even bothering to turn around, “Don’t bring me into this conversation. I don’t care either way.” His voice was cross and a bit whiny. “Why are ya’ll over here talking about me anyway?” You folded your arms across your chest as Bo answered, “We weren’t. We were just talking about what we did this weekend when Hwanhee,” She practically spit his name out in annoyance. Hwanhee pulled a face and moved to get Dongyeol’s attention. Dongyeol waved him off and put in his earphones instead. “Started proving he has no business of his own, so he has to mind everyone else’s!” Bo shot over her shoulder while you had turned to leave and go back to your desk. Bo told the other girl she’d talk to her later before coming back to her seat as well. “I have a right mind to tape Hwanhee’s mouth shut.” “He was just saying what he saw-“ “But Dongyeol-“ “You heard him. He didn’t care either way.” You mentioned bitterly just as the teacher walked in.

GF Crying Because She Has to Go to School/Uni

A/N: Wishing you the best anon! Don’t be too nervous with school, okay? Also... I don’t know how reactions work so I’m winging it

Jinhoo: Jinhoo notices you walking back and forth and basically can’t stay in one place. So, he asks you what’s wrong. With just him asking in his soft and concerned voice, you can’t help but sob quietly. He becomes more concerned and slightly panicked because the last thing he wants to see is you crying. You tell him that you’re really nervous for your first day because you might end up embarrassing yourself in front of everybody. All he did was hug you. He pats your head until you’ve calmed down and when you did, he joked around. “So, do you want me to drop you off and tell the other kids not to mess with you?” 

Kuhn: This guy knows you’re really excited about going back to school. Ofc he does ‘cause he’s been with you for the past week buying school supplies and all the stuff you need for school. You even asked him for ideas for your everyday outfits and tried on different ones so he could take a look at them. When classes were really near, you slowly started to break down. It turns out that you did all those stuff as a defense mechanism to make yourself feel alright about “back to school” but when all of it got to you, you cried. When Kuhn saw, he immediately went by your side and hugged you tight making sure you feel safe. He assured you that everyone gets nervous about it, even him. He stayed with you until you felt better and made sure that you’ll feel less anxious.

Kogyeol: He’s more excited than you, to be honest. The moment he knew your classes were near, he went gaga all over. He gave you all of these tips and tricks about school. Kogyeol asked you if you knew this, if you knew that, with the concern for you to be ready. /seriously, bomdeuk?/ Without him realizing, he pressured you and made you feel scared about all of it. So when he saw you sobbing in the corner, he got confused and really concerned. “What’s wrong, jagi? I thought you were excited?” You told him what’s wrong and he felt bad. Ashamed, even. He wiped your tears and hugged you, saying he’s really sorry and he’ll do anything to make it up to you. 

Wei: You’re off to the mall with Wei to buy some last minute stuff for school tomorrow and while you were walking, he held your hand. He’s shocked at how cold it was. Wei looked at you and sure as heck that you didn’t look good. He asked you why you were so pale and you turned to him with tears waiting to fall. Wei doesn’t have a clue on what to do so he lets you sit down for a bit to talk things out. After you told him that you’re nervous about going back to school, he sighed out of relief. He ruffles your hair and puts your head to his chest. “Geez, don’t think about it too much.” Both of you head to the mall after you’ve calmed down. He never did let go of your hand.

Bitto: He bought all these groceries because he wanted to cook your breakfast and packed lunch. Bitto’s so excited about it that he put every effort he has into practicing so you can eat the best of the best lunch out of everyone. When he asked you to taste what he made, you refused. You declined the offer because you felt the tears coming and your throat became sore from seeing Bitto so happy. It got him really confused but when he knew what was happening, he dropped everything. He hurriedly went to you, lifted your chin and wiped the tears. Bitto put your hair away so he can see your face clearly and assured you that it’s okay and normal to be anxious. /he made the best breakfast and lunch, though/

Wooshin: This guy’s pretty apathetic about back to school because it’s just a normal day like any other school day. What he’s excited about is getting to interact with friends again. So, he assumed that it was the same for you too. He thought that you were okay about all these “going back to school” stuff; but you weren’t. When he was talking about all classes being near, you couldn’t help but tear up. You didn’t want him to see you crying so you quickly turned your head in an attempt for him not to see. He did notice and he grabbed you by the hand to face him. He was shocked too. He pulled you to him and said sorry, assuring you that you can cry all you want until you feel alright. Wooshin will make sure that you won’t be too nervous and will do anything to cheer you up. He’ll even do aegyo just for you. 

Sunyoul: This guy’s super sweet and thoughtful! He bought you cute stationery and a little planner that he attached stickers to. It was Sunyoul’s little surprise for you because he knew you were nervous about going back to school. He was about to surprise you in your room but he heard you whimper. Sunyoul ran as fast as he could to be by your side and grabbed you towards him. He hugged you super tight while saying “It’s okay, it’s okay. Sorry I didn’t notice you were this nervous. Just let it all out.” After you’ve cried, he pulled out these cute stuff behind his back and showed it to you. “I kinda bought these to make you feel better. I hope they do.” 

Gyujin: Okay, so Gyujin’s been watching those videos on Youtube. “How to survive high school” “How I survived college” “What’s in my backpack?” He watched these because he knows how nervous you are during this time. As GyuReporter is all geared up and ready to inform, he went straight to you all jumpy and excited. Seeing him like this made you even more anxious than you already were. So, you excused yourself for a bit to go to the comfort room. You just sat down there and let the tears fall. You were basically inside for 10 whole minutes and when you went out, Gyujin was waiting outside. When he saw your red puffy eyes, he wanted to cry too. He wanted you to enjoy this year’s start of classes but that’s not going to happen anytime soon. “Come here.” He said as he put your head to his chest and also discreetly wipes his tears. Gyujin does know how to calm you down.

Hwanhee: “YAH! You shouldn’t look at other boys there, okay? I’ll be jealous!” Ofc, you wouldn’t. Hwanhee likes to joke around with you about going back to school. He told you the most embarrassing moments he has and it made your stomach turn. He thought you weren’t being serious about being nervous because who would be? It’s just the first day of class. But when you were serious and told him to stop, he went completely silent. Your head was already faced down and your tears fell one by one. Hwanhee panicked and convinced you that he was only joking. He’s really sorry for his immaturity and did everything to make you feel better. He’s not going anywhere until he sees your smile again. “NONONONO!! I was only joking!! Nooo. I’m so sorry TTTTUTTTT” His face was really weird which made you laugh. /let’s just say he felt relieved after that/

Xiao: Both of you were getting ready for the first day of class. Xiao is really excited about it but you... not so much. You and Xiao were arranging your backpacks and putting all the things in there. He asked you if you needed anything else and you did tell him to grab some pencils from the store nearby. When he was outside, you put your head to your knees and started crying. You don’t know why, you just did. Xiao arrived seeing you all balled up. He walked swiftly to you and asked you what’s wrong. You didn’t answer. “Hey, what’s wrong? Why are you crying? Jagii.” He also says this in an about-to-cry tone so you said you’re just nervous about going back to school. He looked at you intently and kissed your forehead. He rummaged through the plastic bag and brought out desert. “Would ice cream make you feel better?”

My Answers to 100 Questions

So technically I wasn’t tagged to do this, but I have been seeing it around and it seems fun and like a good way for people to get to know each other, so I wanted to do it.

When did I first started listening to kpop? - I first was introduced to kpop with the YouTubers React to KPOP and it was actually EXO’s Overdose that originally got me into the genre and I’m going to say that was around 2 years ago?  Then around a year ago, I saw my friend dance to KPOP songs and thought it was awesome and that exposed me to GOT7′s Just Right and BTS’s Dope, but then this previous year I couldn’t stop thinking about Dope and somehow found VIXX’s Chained Up and that was the song and group that I fell head-first into this mess with.

First group I listened to/liked? - As I said above I really liked Overdose, but GOT7 was the first group that I looked up their names and I immediately liked Mark, so technically Mark was the first bias I ever had.

How would you feel if your bias came out gay/lesbian/bisexual/etc.? - I really don’t like this question tbh because it’s our jobs as fans to support our biases through thick and thin, and being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, but this question kind of makes it sound like people would stop supporting their bias if they were, those people aren’t real fans.

hello i am here to tell u about how i got into up10 and stuff (u asked for this). i got into them by watching their boy group medley and i thought it was v good?? following that i checked their variety stuff and thought they were so cute?? like gyujin's lil tongue + wink thing was so adorable oml. my first bias was bitto (he was also the first member i learned), and my bias now is gyujin! but in all honesty, jinhoo is tryna get me to swerve into his lane (i'm vunloyal). do u have a bias wrecker?

Their boy group medley was on point. I loved that they sang 12:30 by Beast because that song will forever hold a special place in my heart. My expectations were set high for that song and they pulled it off so well. Sunyoul with his high notes, agh my heart because Yoseob is my bias in Beast. Hwanhee got me shook when they sang Love Me Right. Kogyeol sounded like a legitimate angel. Overall that video was pure gold and showed off their talents. Flop10tion who? I only know Up10tion

Variety is where they do not lack any skill in, I love how shameless they are (especially during their fan idol heart attack video and weekly idol). Oh Gyujin’s tongue wink? You mean...this one?

It’s a classic and should never be forgotten. He’s a precious child who needs help protecting the others from the rest of the world. He also needs to be protected because he’s nothing but kind and soft. I love how extra he is, especially as of recently, he's much more confident now and it makes me happy to see that.

Picking a bias in Up10tion...is very hard. Then again when you do have a bias it’s also bad because everyone of them will come after you with a truck just ready to run you over with feels. Trust me this has happened more than five times today alone (I need to not have three bias wreckers...). On that note, my bias wreckers are: Kogyeol, Wooshin, and Xiao. There is not particular order in which they go in...they just like to run me over whenever they feel like it
