Ah fuck it whatever
There's something I love about the new Consequences AU and how it compares to the AUs and music it's come from.
Where things like Roxy's old kingdom being destroyed and her being almost drowned as a baby are metaphorical, there's a lot of things that strangely aren't. Roxy specifically denying the gods and the powers that be is something she does in most of my interpretations of her. The gods in most situations, isn't a spooky green rabbit, it's the people in the Fazbear boardroom making the world's worst decisions ever. To the animatronics, they are the gods. There's no higher authority than them, and they can have them destroyed without ever having met them, at just a moment's notice, for seemingly no reason.
Bonnie once believing in the gods and turning against them works like it does for most of the animatronics too. Even just questioning Fazbear isn't something many of them have been able to do, but all of them will eventually learn to. The more they learn through Roxy, despite what they might have known before, the more they realise what kind of company they've been forced to be a part of.
And Roxy's attitude towards these gods is always the same. She won't pretend to be nice to people she knows don't care about her. She won't put any extra effort into maintaining social etiquette if there's no point, if there's nothing for her to gain from it. Fazbear CEOs and board members have hurt her so much already, she doesn't give a flying shit about them, she's not wasting her time on them unless she absolutely has to. In this universe, the same can be said about the gods. She doesn't care for them and they don't care about her, so why bother? They've told like six people to assassinate her already, why would she choose to listen to them?
Roxy's relationship with the Minis and DJ? That's the same as it is across the board with most of the AUs I have. The attempt on Roxy's life when she's barely been born is shown differently in the new AU, but is still the same concept. Some things have been shifted around, such as the specific motivations, but not by a lot. I suppose Bonnie's dad in this fills the roll of Vanessa if Vanessa was also actually Mimic? He doesn't have an exact match here in terms of scale, but the comparisons are there.
The whole kingdom being destroyed, Roxy finding out that that's where she originally came from, that she was the newborn prince with a wholeass family she's never known, all lines up so well with everything else too. The pizzeria, scrapped storage, the old attractions there before her racetrack, it's all gone and she knew nothing about it. She's once again found out the truth in possibly the worst way imagineable, and she doesn't know what to do with this information, but honestly, who would?
The biggest difference there is that in this new AU, Roxy has the choice of what to do. In what's basically canon to the game, Roxy doesn't have that choice and likely never will. Where she's had to sacrifice her Raceway and Salon, sacrifice the vast majority of her life and her purpose for the safety of everyone around her, in this universe, she can choose not to. She sacrifices certainty this time, something she can regain as time goes on but in any other universe, there is never any certainty to get back. There will always be a Mimic threat and she can't get any of her old life back until it's dead and gone. She has to pay a price to keep Mimic contained, and while the Afton/Glitchtrap gods scramble to convince her otherwise, the Roxy in this new AU does have the choice whether she pays it or not.
But she will always still have to deal with the consequences of those with power. Every single time. And every single time so far, her entire existence is the consequence for them. Her life overall has not been the result of her own choices, but rather, the choices of people that never cared about her to begin with...
At least in this new universe she has a good childhood to fall back on and a cool ass horsie. And can actually do something about this shit. She can't normally do that :(
#not sure if that means she's winning or not hmm#fnaf security breach#consequence of the gods au#I should shorten that to just#consequences au#I guess#also yeah roxy can't normally do literally anything about... well anything really???#she can keep a lid on the situation but she doesn't have a choice. she HAS to make the sacrifice or people could die#and that sucks! she deserves better! and this time there's no blame to for her to carry only the burden of tragedy#which has maybe like... halfed the weight fazbear puts on her? maybe?#she's not okay is what I'm saying#though that's probably pretty obvious given the uhh#everything#this au is just super interesting to me it has a lot of parallels to other stuff and I like to give her a stick to beat people with#this time she can rally her friends with bonnie's help to drag the king to the fucking stocks#I just think there's maybe no greater punishment for a king like this than the humiliation pushed on the lowest class pick-pockets#cause the thing is. what she's chosen to do by not killing him is like breaking the cycle of revenge#but it's not mercy for him. she doesn't want his blood on her paws he's not worth it#him just. not being worth the effort of murder is incredibly offensive to him. he's the king god damn whadda hell#but he's never going to be sure for the rest of his life#he's going to have to live with the entire kingdom and every other kingdom knowing exactly what he did be it by afton's will or not#he has regretted it all this WAS pushed on him by these gods but finding out someone survived? that someone is on their way to get him?#it's a relief. it's finally over. he doesn't have to do this anymore... and then she just doesn't give that to him.#death was his salvation that was his freedom and she denies him that. she makes him live.#not without consequence of course but compared to the release of his execution these consequences are barbaric#they cut him like a knife by letting the local schoolkids throw tomatoes at his face#he still has to rule knowing that any moment roxy could change her mind and come back to finish the job.#or another survivor will do it for her. if I decide roxy gets a sister along with mangle and the old foxy?#then he's wondering where the OTHER one is. where is she? Roxy isn't who he'd expected to reach him at all she's dead#but surprise! she's not! he has lost the coin toss! she is the worst option of the two! by far!

Homestuck: Beyond Canon (reactions pages 476 - 496)
Reactions to the latest update below!
You know, seeing Jake and Jane here again, makes me wonder what happened to Rose, Jade, Kanaya, Yiffy and Tavros. I mean, last time we saw them they were in a confrontation with Jane at the church.
I mean, yeah of course it's different writers now and all, but I'm curious to hear what their explanation is for how it ended. Did the rebels simply manage to abscond?
Anyway, it's really cool to see Jake more actively rebelling against Jane.
And finally we get to see what Meenah looks like now!! We only got a very limited tease before, in the scene of her with Karkat, before we got to see Karkat in full during his conversation with John.
It's interesting how much she looks like the Condesce, just like how Karkat looked a lot like the Sufferer.
All. Those. Fish puns. Hahahaha
It took me a while to get the Pierce Brosnan - Mamma Mia reference even though I did see the movie (and its sequel) a couple of years ago.
This whole scene reminded me of the Dreambubble gathering which also included Meenah, Jake, (sleeping) Roxy and Brain Ghost Dirk. Which I believe is also pretty much the only prior interaction we've had between Jake and Meenah?
Speaking of being reminded of things, Meenah warning Roxy about Jane and Roxy thinking Jane can't be that far gone, kind of reminds me of the old days where Roxy tried to warn Jane about how Betty Crocker (AKA Meenah's grown-up version) was not as harmless as she seemed and Jane not wanting to believe it. How things have changed since then…
It kind of makes me sad how Jake still has Dirk in his Pesterchum contacts, even though his Dirk's been dead for many years and isn't coming back. Did Jake keep him as a contact just to remember him, or did Jake really hope that some day he'd see Dirk online again and it turned out he was still somehow alive after all?
I suppose that in a way he did get that after all, what with Brain Ghost Dirk having entered his life again, haha.
This also shows how much Jake cares about John, with John being his only non-B2 Kid contact in this list. Jake's narration of Jane putting "his son" in danger was probably referring to Tavros, but I suppose you could say it also counts for John!
---
About the Vriska scene
MAN, a SBAHJ reference!!! That has been SUCH a long time.
I love how the "BIMP" can still be seen on the vent when John's talking to Vriska. And the "Thanks for Playing" still being on the sun made me laugh.
Vriska correcting John when he said "leafs" reminds me of those old gags where people corrected one another even though they were actually speaking out loud to each other, haha. Never gets old.
What with how Vriska feels she's stuck with a "fake" John reminds me of her alternate (dead) self being stuck with the Doomed John who was killed by Typheus.

omg i stumbled across ur au and i think its pretty neat :D the post with monty and the bonnie conflict made me wonder if there are any other notable conflicts or drama that has happened in the establishment of the where the animatronics live. also how did the Foxy's react to Roxy in ur au was it like monty's reception or different (sorry if my grammar is bad)
Ah, thank you! <3
Well, let's see... the family-friendly animatronics sometimes get into squabbles with the horror animatronics. This is because the family-friendly animatronics have mixed feelings about perceived as scary, so to meet versions of themselves who are intentionally scary makes them feel insecure... and it makes them lash out. The horror animatronics either try to ignore their family-friendly counterparts or troll the hell out of them.
The Toys and the Classics sometimes feud with each other, but that only happens when Toy Foxy and Classic Foxy are fighting. It gets messier every time. Otherwise, they're usually family to each other.
Any family-friendly animatronic that isn't from the Funtime line has some sort of beef with the Funtimes. Basically, they all think Funtime Freddy is a troublemaker, and that he was "made wrong". The other Funtimes - excluding Circus Baby - have been known to defend Funtime Freddy, and so they get judged as having something wrong with them, too. The horror animatronics side with Funtime Freddy and accept him and the other Funtimes. It's helped Funfred embrace his scary side more, and is part of the reason he loves terrifying people for fun.
And that's all the drama I know about for now!
To answer your question about the Foxys and their reaction to Roxanne... they learned about her before actually getting to meet her, which wouldn't happen for about a decade. When they first learned about her, they couldn't stand the fact they'd been replaced by a wolf. For a while, the Foxys hated wolves. But then Twisted Wolf came to the Estate and they were forced to change their minds.
Twisted Wolf was part of the Twisted line of animatronics, who were built specifically to promote the FNAF novels. She was big, monstrous... and absolutely terrified of Classic Foxy. No one could figure out why until Classic Foxy read the book Twisted Wolf came from... only to find out his book counterpart had killed Twisted Wolf.
Classic Foxy is a family-friendly animatronic, but he actually gets along nicely with most of the horror animatronics since being scary made him popular. Knowing Twisted Wolf was terrified of him because she was afraid he'd KILL her... it felt horrible. That was the moment Classic Foxy decided to swallow his pride and be nice to Twisted Wolf. He advised the other Foxys to do to the same, "or else".
Four years tick by, and the Foxys have actually grown rather fond of Twisted Wolf. She doesn't speak, only able to communicate with wolf noises and body language. Despite this, she manages to be very expressive and communicative, and she's accepted the Foxys as being part of her "pack". Just as this happens, a new Foxy arrives at the Estate: Big Bad Foxy, a fox who loves pretending to be a wolf. He and Twisted Wolf bond immediately. They're all a family now.
So, by the time Roxanne Wolf shows up at the Estate... she's nervous about meeting the Foxys. She knows she has Foxy's eyes. But... she's a wolf. Not a fox. She's nowhere near as legendary as Foxy. How will he react to her? Well, imagine her surprise when it turns out there's already wolves in Foxy's family!
Classic Foxy gets so excited when he actually sees Roxanne in person, especially when he sees her eyes are his color. It's like a dad meeting his long-lost daughter for the first time. He's happy. Roxanne is so confused but... her tail is wagging uncontrollably. Also, she might start crying because she wasn't expecting such a warm welcome.
I could have sworn Roxanne had a Funtime Foxy plushie in her green room in Security Breach (I could be wrong), so she bonds closely with Toy Foxy and Funtime Foxy in my AU. She's also pretty fond of Classic Foxy and might accidentally call him "dad" sometimes. She does tease him a lot for the whole pirate shtick, though.
And in case you're wondering how Roxanne gets along with Twisted Wolf and Big Bad Foxy... they're like siblings.
I would love to explore Roxanne's relationship with the Foxys further, so if anybody wants to ask me more specific questions about that, feel free!

Honestly, all of your interpretations of Gregory's adorable, especially your latest one. Makes me want to just boop his nose...at least if I wasn't sure he'd try to bite it off considering I'd effectively be a stranger an all. XD
As for questions? I have one random one that doesn't really pertain to your AU, and more of a curiosity, but how do you think things would've went if instead of Freddy, Gregory ended up hiding in Chica's room, and she was the one not being infected by the virus? Cause it's either been Freddy, Month or Roxy, but I've never seen Chica, so it's a bit of a curiosity.
As for the question pertaining to your actual AU, how old would you say the characters are in it? I'm curious since depending on the art style, a character can look older or younger than they actually are, and I want to know how old Gregory is considering he was being chased for a majority of the night by the Termina--Infected Animetronics. Especially considering the trauma and nightmares that'll come through. I know I'd have nightmares if I had DJ Music Man tossing "Arcade" Cabinets at me like cheese puffs.
Wow this was a long one- wasn't expecting that, but I'm happy ya came in, i love answering ya questions :D
Firstly, I'm glad you enjoy my design for him! My sister says that she likes how i draw his nose bc like you, she wants to boop it, so honestly I'm glad! I was trying to achieve some sort of child like cuteness with him :>
As for the, not au question about chica, that's actually interesting, and i agree there isn't enough stuff with her, especially bc she was one of my long time favourite animatronics, sadly idk how to answer it properly, but i balive that she'd be useful with her voice box, tho i don't think she'd know, Gregory would probably like "trick" her into singing after finding out how it affects the others so he could like do whatever he needed to, like "hey, maybe if you sing to them it can distract them enough so i could do this!" And it's technically not a lie either, she'd probably get distracted by food, which probably would annoy Gregory, but nothing bad, just a small drawback
She'd probably be very sweet too, wondering where his parents are, probably be a bit intrusive with it till Gregory shuts the topic off, she'd talk alot too, slipping out some useful information without realising, but that's personal to me bc i see her as someone who talks alot ig, but in a good way
For the last question, i plan on making a character sheet for each of them (not the animatronics, not yet at least) it will say their ages and sum fun facts that, will probably be spoilers but it's nothing major, but to get an idea, vanessa and luis are around their early 20s, while Gregory is younger then 12 :)
And yeah, the trauma will be explored through my comic, it's a healing comic after all, it won't magically be better the next day, and it's something i really do enjoy, studying a character, Gregory will be interesting bc well, he's a kid and i usually work around teens and adults easily, but so far I'm having fun exploring his character, I have a younger cousin around 11 so since I'll make him around her age I'll base it a bit on what i know with her, plus a few other kids I've seen before, I'm trying to go out more and see ppl so i can be able to study them for the characters-

Roxy was hesitant to knock on Avlaroess's door. He was typically someone who didn't like to be disturbed, but he was also her best lead right now.
After a deep breath, she knocked, announcing her presence as she did. "Av!"
The door opened fairly soon afterward, and Avlaroess looked just as well groomed as ever.
"Is there something with which I can assist you?" He asked.
This was another reason why Roxy was hesitant to come here. Avlaroess had an irritating penchant for using as many words as possible to convey even simple thoughts.
"Ah, just something quick and I'll be out of your hair-"
"Nonsense," He stepped aside and waved her in. "Please, allow yourself to feel at home while you tell me of your plight."
She supressed a sigh and stepped past him into the room. It was clean and immaculately organized, not a single thing out of place.
"Pray," He motioned for her to have a seat on a sofa that it looked like he'd taken with him from Victorian London. "Have a seat and tell me how I may assist you."
Roxy sighed as she sat down, and made the mistake of sounding even the tiniest bit desperate as she responded: "You can assist me by speaking normally, for once in your life."
Avlaroess got a devilish gleam in his eye, and if Roxy hadn't been looking for it, she would have missed the self-satisfied smirk that flashed briefly on his features.
"Dearest friend," He said, with almost more of a theatrical accent than before. "This is the way I have always spoken, for as long as the two of us have been known to each other."
"Alright, now you're overdoing it."
Avlaroess laughed, and Roxy couldn't help but think how odd it felt to see him happy and joyful when he usually spent so much time pretending he was meaner than he actually was.
"My apologies," He said with a chuckle. "With what can I assist you?"
"One of my swords has gone missing-"
"Have you considered that Owen might have it?"
Roxy almost wanted to yell at him.
"Of course I did." She said calmly, instead. "He was the first person I asked. I just came from Aquarios's room, and he said he gave something that matches the description of my sword to Salem."
"So?" Avlaroess arched a pierced eyebrow. "Why are you here then, and not Salem's room?"
Roxy sighed again and barely refrained from pinching the bridge of her nose. "Salem isn't in his room, or at least he's not answering the door, so I was wondering if you might know where he is."
"Do I look to you like I am Salem's keeper?"
"If you're going to be difficult-"
"Please," He gestured for her to sit back down, and when he spoke it was with a calm energy that help Roxy cool her own rising temper. "The last I saw of Salem, he was in Toni's laboratory, conversing enthusiastically with her."
That was a strange place for Salem to be, but if that's where Avlaroess said he saw him, that was where Roxy would go.
"Alright," She said with a nod as she stood again, slower this time. "I'll check there. Thank you." Avlaroess saw her to the door and wished her luck on her quest, but all Roxy could think of was what on earth Salem was doing in Toni's laboratory, when those two barely got along.

Things I'm realizing while playing FNAF SB on the PS4
All the people who die before the daycare are literally so impatient. It's... Not hard to avoid Chica there.
There's a sun plushy in the fountain!!! I love it and I'm going to get moon's.
The daycare is soft lock hell. I kept distracting sun to go exploring, and you know that circle of blocks shaped like a castle off to the left? Don't fall in there. You can not get out.
Also, I never got to see the crying animation! If sun couldn't find me, he wouldn't even look around. He'd just stand near the blocks and sway. Then, the second I step into a spot he can reach, he runs straight towards me. But if I take a single step back into it, he turns around and goes back.
Moon man. He was... Fine?? I mean. I only saw him once. After I got 3 generators and he went inside, I saw him a level below me in the play structure. Then I got the other 2 like immediately. His section was so short for me.
Leaving was kinda funny. Sun just doesn't appear until you click the button, so you can explore then too. Then I got into Freddy and the second I got to that turnstile, I got kicked out of him and died my first death. I don't count it because that was bullshit.
Couldn't find salads and slides, but I looked and the mission said "below the first floor" so I went down. All I saw was pizza until I noticed ice cream and kept walking that way.
Chica is supposed to interrupt you on the way to salads and slides? I dunno, I heard her voice. Was in the newly charged Freddy tho
I got past mini music man (fuck those vents btw, dark as shit and for why? My brightness is 100% you fucker) and then... There was a FNAF 2 poster? Why? Speaking of bad merchandise, why is there an ennard cut out and plushtrap things. That's so distasteful in universe.
These I was in that boiler room place or whatever, where chica is in there. I got past her (dying twice which I count as my first deaths) and she chased me into pizza bot mini game? Isn't that... Not when you're supposed to do that? I swear that comes later.
I do that shit (barely survived) and go into the kitchen but like... Aren't you supposed to use a party pass before you get there for the first time? Not to mention, the person I watched killed Chica but I swear he never went into the bathrooms. Sadly, I didn't have security level 3, and had to.
This leads into why I dislike Chica the most. She doesn't fucking shut up. If you have a character that shows up as much as Chica and says as much shit as Chica does, you have to give them a fuckton of dialogue to pick from. But now. She recycls the same 5-6 line a billion times and I will feel no goddamn remorse when I finally get to remove her voice box. Seriously, no wonder Gregory goes out of his way to push her in there. She's annoying as fuck /lh.
I don't even hate chica, she's always been interesting to me (a female character who's personality is all about eating and entertainment? Fuck yeah). She's just my least favorite in this game because she's always there and always talking. Followed by Roxy, who shows up less but says like 3 lines. Seriously. Give them more lines. Monty shows up the least and whenever he is there, you hardly even notice him because he's useless (ex: spotlight Monty during showtime. What does he do? Stands.) Monty also has a lot of voice lines, or he shows up so little that the same ones don't get beamed into my brain.
Anyway, I'm still trying to escape the kitchen area with Chica through the bathrooms so. Bye

The one where Kevin Day falls for a Ballerina PT 3
*Unedited*
They ran into each other once more two weeks later
More like, Kevin saw her and got curious
Kevin was going for a jog just south of the fox tower, criss crossing campus and pushing his body until his legs pleaded for mercy
He dropped onto a bench in a busier part of campus, well, as busy as it could be on a cold Saturday morning, and pulled as much air as he could into his lungs
It reminded him of the nest, pushing and pushing and pushing until he gave out completely. Now, he was safe, he didn't have to do this, but a bigger part of him liked it. Liked the push and the pain that followed
No wonder he had been so dead set on bringing his left hand up to where it had once been
It was when he went to stand and complete his lap of campus, he spotted her
Sweats, messy hair, and pink duffle over one shoulder
He didn't know why he stopped and stared like he did
Kevin didn't know why his feet started to move, towards her, towards the dance building she was entering
But he did move, he followed Akale at a safe enough distance that she didn't notice
The building was nice, a clean and good smelling lobby that resembled more of a modern art studio
The different hallways that split into different areas
It didn't have the rough, angry feel that the court had. It was light, a bright place that Kevin had never experienced before
It was enchanting, this whole experience with Akale had started to become just that. Enchanting, whimsical, nothing he'd ever known but every thing he'd ever wanted
Akale walked to the far end of the lobby and pulled open a grand oak door. Kevin could faintly make out her voice and one other, a friendly one that greeted her
"Akale! Oh, sweetheart you look so wonderful. How have classes been treating you."
"Uh, good. Yeah, just-just good."
The friendly voice turned skeptical. "Sure sounds like it. Have you been practicing?"
"Yes, just...you know, some weeks are worse than others."
"If that isn't the healing process," a third voice, male, chimmed in
"Ethan,"
"Yeah, yeah. Are we going to warm up?"
"Oh," Akale paused and Kevin heard something, probably her duffle, think against the floor. "Let me get my shoes on."
Kevin blinked and realized he was against the oak doors, listening, once again placed under her spell
He should have turned, walked straight out of the building and never looked back. He had practice, training he had to be doing
But he couldn't bring himself to leave, not yet
"Akale-" the woman, the friendly voice, sounded worried
"it's okay, Roxie. I-I got it, just...just a little shaky."
What was it? They had only met twice, there was no reason for this. Sure, the first time they had talked for nearly a half an hour
The second time not so long, and yet-
Music started playing, familiar music that Wymack often played right before they were supposed to get into the court
Pump up music
Kevin finally dared to peak around the door and froze at the sight
An older woman was leaning against one of the walls covered in mirrors, watching a darker skinned man and Akale who were in the middle of the room
The man was missing a leg, but that in no way seemed to stop his dancing. The prosthetic moved almost as naturally as his other leg, carrying him across the floor in moves Kevin had never seen before
And then, there was Akale
One of the big goals at the nest was to become one
Your partners failures were yours
A team loss was truly a team loss
The sense of self had been taken away
Here, he saw the same thing. But it wasn't the same, in no way was it the forced sacrafice of the Ravens
Akale became one with the music. Each rise and fall in the music in turn was a rise and fall in her body
She had shed her sweats into a more breathable dance outfit, tennis shoes switched out for pink pointe shoes
Akale went up on pointe, swinging one leg out and going into a slow spin
Of course, there was grace on the court. A relationship between each player on the team. It was a dance for dominance, where was the ball, where was the next player ready for a pass, when was the next goal going to occur
The dance on the court and the dance Akale was preforming were two different yet such similar things
Akale was an incredible dancer, he didn't have to be a professional to know that
The way she moved, the soft smile on her face, it sung practiced precision and a love for what she did
Kevin's mind flicked to Andrew
He could only hope one day Andrew finds this same love for Exy
Akale spun faster, and along side Ethan, danced across the room. He held her waist as she leaned forward, stretching her body out and throwing her leg up near her head
They stayed there for a moment, then he lifted her up and swung her around. She shifted in the air, legs coming together and arms wrapping around him
Kevin felt that same shift in his stomach
Ethan set her down and hand in hand, they danced together with a sudden ferociousness
It was going well, this was a performance Kevin would pay to see
And then
Something changed
Akale went up on her pointes again, Ethan holding her hand as she did, and then
She fell
Tumbled to the ground, taking Ethan with her
"Akale?"
"I'm...I'm sorry, sorry I, uh, I didn't mean-I got dizzy."
Kevin took another step forward, part of him wanting to make sure she was okay when Roxie stepped into his path
"Excuse me, but this is a closed rehearsal. If you're wanting to sign up for a class, Sarah at the front desk will be willing to help you
Kevin, true to his nature, plastered on his front that the public swooned over and opened his mouth to respond
But Akale beat him to it
"It's...okay, he's my friend."
That damn shift in his stomach pushed against his sides as he locked eyes with Akale
And as she offered him a small smile
"Hey, Kevin.”
