Well Boys, buckle up cause you are IN for a RIDE!!! ;) XD kkkkkk I LOOOOOOOOOVE seeing people FINALLY noticing it and SEEING that, NOPE, we weren't DELUSIONAL or FORCING it on ANYONE, or making it up or twisting things... The SHOW was giving it to us, it was THERE all along!! I am REALLY HAPPY that they are addressing it, I am GLAD that Rob and Rich are not SHYING away from it, and they are TALKING ABOUT IT and letting it BE KNOW!!! I hope MORE of them start doing that and realizing it too! And I also HOPE that they CONTINUE to talk about it and bring it up whenever they feel like it for the duration of their watch-party journey! \o/ :D One more reason why I am SO SOO F* PROUD and HAPPY that Misha has ALWAYS been a voice of support and LOVE towards Destiel and Queer!Cas, how PROUD he ALWAYS is of the Destiel fans, how he was always there for us, fighting alongside us and encouraging us to be ourselves and be proud of ourselves!!! S2 And, back to the podcast subject, no, it is not at all that I NEED their confirmation or anything like that, it is just kind of a breath of fresh air to see more people NOTICING that it was never a "FANS forcing it" or "being AWFUL about it", it was THERE all along, you just needed to WATCH the show and you would see it right there... Rob: And Sam is even like "yeah you know, Dean obviously- Dean's not, you know, not doing well, cause, you know

Rich: I never realized it was this obvious

Rob: And Dean's all jealous of Crowley, he's like [grumpy/jealous dean impression] "his butt-buddy" [grumble]

Rich: This season really lays the groundwork for all of that

Rob: I know! I said it a couple podcasts ago and you made fun of me, but, I-, it's-

Rich: You did! But man they just kept going! I mean, it just leaned in and it's just- Wow!

Rob: Yeah! Point for Robbie on that one

in context sounds more like writers lingo for basic script writing and edits. perhaps poor/ ironic/ eye twitch choice of words to use for a scene between dean and cas.

"show dont tell" note + line change:

not sure i fully agree with this. i mean they kinda read like two different things and there is telling not showing in both...

subtext:

It's the end of the world and that changes you. You lose pretty much everything and everyone, even yourself. Pretty much the only thing dean and I have left is each other and I am with him to the end. that's me. can't help it. shattered at the alter of winchester. even if the cost is my life.

thus far all we know is that cas is dedicated to dean and whatever dean decides to do (cc: prev scene). But what we dont know is the specifics, the why. The scripted version gives us an answer. "all we have left is each other" what of all this is real. we are. I can see how the scripted version is more tell less show. But the aired version does not convey the same underlying meaning (with less tell).

final thoughts: not sure what a different version might have looked like, but one that keeps the [you lose everything at the end of the world all we have left is each other] vibes woulda been nice.

update: we have two potential questions going into this scene. why is cas so ride & die for dean? why is cas all drugs & sex now? Each version of the scene answers one of these two questions but neither answers both. I would liked a scene that did THAT.

My Arthur Lester with an updated design yipee!!!

You may notice the moon theme, WELL! i had this idea of incorporating a symbol i assigned to malev characters into their designs. Arthur is the moon, John is the sun and Oscar is the star.

@teafromthemicrowave gave me the idea of arthur and john being the sun and moon and then I added oscar to be the star. This is the greatest thing ever ash you wont understandddd THANK YOUU FOR THE IDEA

The scar on his cheek, neck and his torn hear resembles a crescent moon shape

The buttons on his coat are different phases of the moon

The chained pins on his tie, represents the three. Notice how the star (oscar) and sun (john) are only linked together thanks to the moon (arthur) ...thats the best i could explain i hope that makes sense
