My Chang'e follows the tyrant HouYi version.
Chang'e had a big falling out with HouYi over the course of time, their little arguments soon turned into spats and the rebellion was fueled b how HouYi started to treat Chang'e as nothing more but an extention of himself and more like a means to continue his reign. The elixirs were to ensure himself and keep his wife around eternal and bound to him. Though they never got that far in the beginning nor towards the end. Power corrupted her husband, Chang'e feared him, she grew to despise him but still loved him. However their arguments turned physical sometimes and some in the inner court became greedy and wanting of the power HouYi boasted. Which eventually when the rebellion struck, they did as well.
Unfortunately Chang'e got to the elixirs first. Though given her only 'self defense' was a simple bow and arrow, she was overpowered and the elixirs nearly fell into the wrong hands. Which forced her to drink both. Enraged when she began to float away, HouYi attempted to shoot her down, nicking her shoulder but eventually she floated too far from him.
When it comes to shipping. Chang'e needs time. She will want an emotional bond, she will want trust. She will want a firm belief that it won't end up like how HouYi did. Anger will cause her to retaliate in kind. Chang'e is a cinnamon roll that will kill you (if you push her hard enough). While she is not on the same level as many big shot gods. She IS the goddess of the moon. Able to dream walk, able to visit earth for only six hours, she is able to do all sorts of things but she mainly enjoys recreating what she once had before she had been demoted to a human. Even still, Chang'e's most prominent building has to be the greenhouse and the entire building committed to cooking. Her vast garden is another area. Though in an unassuming storage closet is a portal to the pocket dimension which houses what you would expect a goddess to live in. Except maybe the most depressing thing about it is the fact she has worked on guest rooms, betraying just how lonely the goddess feels.

Lilanette Week Day 4 - Mythos
Sooo, I wasn’t going to do something for this because I couldn’t think of a good idea for Chinese mythos, but when I saw that we were allowed to do any mythos...
Lilanette Week Day 4 - Mythos
Marinette was a young kitsune who lived with her parents down in the local yokai village. She had many dreams about becoming a fashion designer and living with humans. Right now though, she was still training to become a nine tailed kitsune. She only had three tails at the moment, something her parents would often tease her about.
Near the village was a large mountain that cast a large shadow over everything beneath. She had heard stories of a lone yuki-onna who lived on the mountain in seclusion. She always wondered what the yuki-onna was like, but she never got the chance to climb the mountain since her parents always kept her in the village. However, one day her rival, a Tanuki named Chloe, dared her to climb the mountain and find the legendary yuki-onna.
She was nervous at first, but the constant mocking from Chloe finally dug under her skin enough to get her to sneak out of town and head up the mountain. Deciding it would be faster and warmer, she changed into her small three tailed fox form and began running up the mountain as fast as she could.
A good few hours later, she began regretting her decision to go along with the dare as she was shivering in the snow that blanketed the area. She made a small ball of foxfire with her tails, but the snow increased the further up she went, and her strength was sapped more and more. Eventually, Marinette's fire went out, and she collapsed in the snow. Her body began shivering as snowfall fell on top of her. She let out a small sneeze as her eyes began closing and opening while everything began to go dark.
The last thing she noticed was a silhouette heading towards her.
A few hours later
Marinette let out a groan as she began opening her eyes. The sudden cold though hit her hard and caused her to shoot up. However, she noticed she was still a fox as she let out a small 'Yip!' instead of an 'Ah!' Looking around, she didn't see anybody so she turned back to her normal form and quickly wrapped her tails around her waist. She then lied her head on the tails and let out a  happy sigh.
"Ahhh...so soft and warm..." Marinette happily let out, almost purring, but keeping herself from it just barely while silently cursing her Nekomata friend Adrien. His stupid purring and constant puns. Why couldn't he be something else, like a Kappa. Kappas were nice and not punny! Look at Nino for goodness sake!
"I see you're awake..." Marinette jumped in shock as an unknown voice spoke up behind her. She quickly leapt off the bed, which she just noticed that she was laying on, and turned around. Her blood froze, pun unintended, at the sight of the legendary yuki-onna. She had long white hair with light blue streaks  on her bangs, bluish purple eyes, light blue skin, and little snowflakes peppering her skin. She was also wearing a kimono and slippers. Now that she began to calm down, Marinette began to notice how beautiful she was...*slap!* snap out of it!
The yuki-onna's eyes slightly widened at the sudden slap. "Are...you okay?" she hesitantly asked. Marinette looked back at her and just nodded slightly causing the girl to nod back.
"Good, the snow storm is dying down. You should be able to head back to the village in about an hour," the girl said before motioning for Marinette to follow her. Marinette slightly nodded before walking after the mysterious yokai. She kept looking at the girl to try and get a good sense on just what the girl was like, but something seemed to be keeping her from reading the girl's...erm 'aura' as she liked to call it.
"Please stop, I haven't talked to anybody in years, but even I know that I don't like having my aura read," the girl finally responded catching Marinette offguard. Marinette quietly apologized while rubbing her arm. She soon realized they had reached the living room, if she had to guess, so she walked to the couch and sat down. The yuki-onna looked at her before walking over to the chair sitting right across from Marinette.
After sitting down, she stared directly into Marinette's eyes. "So why were you climbing up the mountain? Only adult yokai come up here, and I can tell you aren't an adult. I mean you only have three tails," the girl questioned Marinette who blinked before looking away.
After thinking for a moment, she gulped and looked back at her 'host.' "My...rival...challenged me to come up here, and find...youuu," she hesitantly said since she wasn't sure how the girl would react.
After a moment of blinking, the girl giggled before looking at her. "I guess I am quite mysterious to you all huh? My parents died several years ago so I've been up here by myself for awhile. We yuki-onna have some terrifying legends so I can understand why the adult yokai would be wary of me. My family never really got to know anyone in the village," the girl responded while looking at Marinette.
Marinette gaped back in shock causing the girl to giggle again. Smiling, she finally relaxed her head on her hand. "My name is Lila by the way," Lila introduced herself while bowing. Marinette blinked in shock before bowing back, hitting her head on the table, and introduced herself as well.
Lila smiled before looking at Marinette for a moment. "You know....you're rather cute," Lila suddenly said which caused Marinette to gasp before collapsing on the floor.
"Y-you mean it?!" Marinette yelled back while blushing and looking up at Lila from the floor with a shy face. Lila just nodded back with a smile.
"Of course I do. I mean your little fox form is so adorable! When I saw you lying in the snow unconscious, I had to keep myself from hugging you to death so I could help you, and why are you banging your head in the wall?" Lila suddenly asked Marinette who was smashing her head into the wall while calling herself stupid over and over again.
Lila brought her finger to her chin with a confused look before smiling as she waved her hand. In a matter of seconds, a small ice sculpture in the form of Marinette formed in her hand. She walked over to Marinette and stopped her from knocking all the brain cells out of her head.
Bending down, she presented the little sculpture to Marinette and smiled. "Here, I'd like to think that we could be friends. I never have had a friend so it would be really great if we could be friends," Lila asked Marinette who just looked at the little figurine and then back at Lila. Smiling, she nodded her head and pulled Lila into a hug.
Lila fell onto Marinette's lap and was surprised by the sudden warmth from Marinette's body along with the warmth her tails provided as they wrapped around her.
"Of course we can. I'm always happy to make new friends. Especially ones as pretty as you..." Marinette whispered the last part, but Lila still heard it causing her cheeks to flush. Deciding to keep the fact that she heard Marinette a secret, she wrapped her arms around Marinette as well and smiled as she enjoyed her first hug.
Who knows how this friendship will develop?

The Legend of the Moon Goddess (A Choices Fanfic)
Pairing: Liam x MC (Riley)
Category: Romance/Comfort
Summary: Liam tells Riley a story in the garden maze
Author's Note: I wrote this in a little over an hour, so forgive me if it's not that polished. This idea just wouldn't leave me alone (I guess it’s my way of compensating for the lack of a legit Mid-Autumn Festival celebration). This story does pull from Chinese mythos, and since I play with Asian!Liam, that didn't present a problem for me, but please feel free to skip over this if you don't find it appropriate.
(Also, just a disclaimer, there are multiple versions of this myth, and this is just the one I grew up with. Okay, that’s enough rambling for me.)
It's close to midnight on the 4th of October, and a figure makes her way through the garden maze on Cordonian palace grounds.
Her heart races as she thinks of meeting her lover once more, her limbs taking her as fast as she can without making too much noise, the high moon illuminating her path clearly.
Her heart sinks when she doesn't find him in their spot immediately, but strong arms catch her quickly from behind, his breath warm in her ear as he whispers her name.
"Riley."
She breaks out into a grin. "Liam."
She turns around and buries her face in his neck, her senses taking in everything about him -- his scent, his strength, his warmth -- and she smiles against his skin when he holds onto her tighter, their hands and bodies getting reacquainted with each other.
"I've missed you," she tells him when she pulls away, even though they had only seen each other hours ago in a ballroom.
He cups her face in his hand, his hold on her hip firm, as if to keep her as close to him as humanly possible.
"I've missed you," he tells her, his tone exasperated, a stark contrast from the polite mask he had on earlier the same night. "I'm sorry we keep having to meet like this."
She shakes her head at him then, unable to watch him blame himself like this. "It's only temporary, right?" And she tries to smile at him hopefully. "I'm okay."
He knows it's a lie, but he tells himself to believe it -- for her sake, he thinks, so he nods.
"I brought you something," he says, the corners of his mouth curled into a smile as he shows her a paper bag in his hand, reaching inside to reveal a small cardboard box, roughly the size of those for cupcakes.
She takes it from him excitedly, and he watches her open it with even greater anticipation.
Inside it held a round, golden brown pastry with intricate lilies embossed on the top, its delicate design almost glistening under the moonlight. She runs her forefinger around the lining of the box, her eyes sparkling with delight as she asks, "What is this?"
"It's a mooncake," he tells her. "My mom taught me how to make them."
"You made this?"
"Don't look so surprised," he teases, and she laughs.
He gestures for them to take the bench close by, taking her free hand in his, his thumb drawing lazy circles on the back of it.
"My mom used to tell me this story, about a man and a woman -- a couple, who loved each other very much. One day, ten suns rose into the sky, and the man, an archer, shot nine of them down, leaving only one to provide light for the people. An immortal was so pleased with him that he was given an elixir of life as a reward -- a chance at immortality for himself, but he couldn't take it, for he couldn't bear to leave his wife."
Riley brings her head to rest on his shoulder, her ears taking in the sound of his voice.
"So, he gave the elixir to his wife for her to keep, but his apprentice learned of this secret and greedily wanted the elixir for himself. One day, when the man was out hunting, his apprentice broke into their home, demanding the wife to give the elixir of life to him, but she refused, unable to bear the thought of such a hateful being living forever.
"So she takes the elixir herself, and almost immediately, she is levitated out of their home, her body now belonging to the sky. Wanting to be close to her husband still, she chooses the moon as her home, keeping an eye on him, though at a distance. The man is so devastated when he finds out what happened that he prepares all her favorite things that same evening and lays them out in the yard for her, among them this cake."
Riley's hand holds onto the box tighter at the bitter thought, her head nuzzling in closer to Liam. "That's tragic."
"It is," he says simply, his head resting back a little to face the moon. "But legend says that every once in a year, when the moon is at its highest and roundest, like it is today, they're able to meet again, a bridge forming between their two worlds, and they find each other, their love as full as it has always been."
"That's a nice thought," she lets out, her eyes on the ground as her thoughts wash over her, her mind not blind to the similar notes of tragedy his story had with theirs.
Liam adjusts himself then and faces her, his hand taking hers -- the one holding the mooncake -- giving it a gentle squeeze. "This cake is supposed to symbolize unity among friends and loved ones, and I know it's weird that I pulled you out here to tell you all this, but I just wanted you to know, that even when you don't see me, I am thinking of you, Riley, always.
"I will be your moon. I will guide and protect you, even if I have to do it at a distance. I will never let anyone or anything hurt you again. And one day, this will all be over, and we will be reunited, my love. You have my word."
Tears almost brim her eyes as she looks at him, unable to speak, so she nods and smiles at him, her voice a gentle whisper as she says, "I love you, Liam."
"I love you, Riley," he returns, his hand on the side of her face, gentle but firm. "We will get through this, and we will be together, I promise."
And that's how she finds herself looking at the moon in every new place they visit in the next weeks, taking comfort in the fact that he was looking at the same sky, a silent promise on their minds.

Weekly Update: Older and Wiser (That is right that is the title)
Note: Anyway things have been busy as I am working on my new comic for work (I will show that up as it is really fun) and I am going to show you my new idea in stories
Tumblr media
Older and Wiser: So I have been playing with my male fates for some time thanks to a chat with a friend which I imagined it to be Gabriel Garcia Marquez meets Humour. And it happens that I am reading Good Omens which is a decent book, so this title came from a pamphlet from an exhibition. It will be a small cast given I have an easier time when I did If, so I am thinking of focusing a smaller cast so I can get used to it (So tentatively Icarcus universe has a big cast),so introducing those trash crews
Tumblr media
Claude! (You know whyyyyy,as much I loved Adonis from Icarcus universe,I need my BOIIIIII)
Tumblr media
Atticus
Tumblr media
and Lance (Think brooding Lord Melbourne)
I have something up which is funny as Claude have a disastrous one night stand and Lance is like WTF is this shit XD I will hope to type that XD
Stories: Anyway I am clearing up some prompts so we have Reincarnation which is a fun Rosa piece (ROSA I miss you honey), Moving on with Freyja being happy (That is all I wanted for my baby girl, FRACK OOR MAN)
Tumblr media
,Ubume with Nero seeing the ghost of Charis which is fun and oh a slutty ficlet of Cecily and Drago with Satisfaction which I am like Cecily did solo stuff to let her husband stay quiet (and make him horny OH SHIT) and we have the second chapter on To Slay a Dragon which you will decide on the journey of Talon and Cecily.
Anyway I am planning to rewrite an old lez ficlet of Lucina and Cecily That realizationN which I see if I am still brave with.
Revised story list: Anyway here is my long ass list of stuff as I am cutting alot of dreary stuff and huge casts which I cannot cope, and doing the genres I loved which you know by now
Icarcus Universe: A fantasy universe which I decided to break up into short stories with expansion of the genres which I do which are romance and humour
Auberon and Drago’s adventures: I think this will be the main story I am focusing on which is similar to Sapowiski’s short stories in The Last Wish,Seasons of Storms (I am waiting for the English translation) and Sword of Destiny which I focus on Auberon and Drago in the younger years,so I will focus on their journeys
Arcona: Cecily and Drago (Like duh, they are like the main MVP for me),Cecily’s Marriage with Oor
Elyssa: Auberon’s solo adventure with Phobos which he met Count Verity
Golden Kingdom: Drago’s rise in managing to stay in the sidelines
Stands: Drago’s exile to Apollonia and the friendship between Catharina and Apollonia
The Lands of Aqua Viate: Oor and Kesever story and the Big Four
Perfumed Expanse: The Dragon sisters and Dmitriy,Eone’s storyline and of course Auberon getting trolled by Livia XD
Icarcus: Wedding of Tyblat
Dalontea: Dead travellers
Caelestra’s Arc (Icarcus): Since it is the novella which I introduced to the world of Icarcus,it will be that format which I will try to tweak as much I can. I have to set what direction I want to do.
The Avenger of Arcona: More light hearted and humorous, which is like a nice subversion of the swashbuckling genre, focusing on Cecily being the hero, you will see that To Slay a Dragon is my experiment of the interactive story genre in my universe. It will be in Fictionpress too.
The married adventures between Drago and Cecily: A super gratuitous indulgence to myself XD Moments of sex in the wrong places and my idiots being ridiculous that I made a playlist on my F**king Spotify XD
https://giphy.com/gifs/l3vRo5EywrWr90L0k/html5
(I have too)
Icarcus History: It will be a prompt fills story as it is pretty huge, and plus some parts I can be interested but I tend to go for the action oriented stuff. Though I may branch out to Sliver Wanderer as its own story as I love the mythos and plus I play with many cultures and Tristin Ports
I will be focusing on Children’s genre as it has been my passion since I did Gwendolyn and Eobsmn
Tumblr media
Gwendolyn and Eobsmn: so we have the kids one with Gwendolyn’s adventures and a young adults one with Pergenie and Jenkins (i love Jenkins oh god LOL)
Sui and the World of Wonder: So a little octopus girl walking to different planets (Again not as complicated AF)
Ba Jie Bei story: I still love that concept so much with the Chinese mythological aspects.
Prompt fills story
Red Thread: I may just do up Takashi's solitude during Rin’s death and the gratuitous werewolf AU which I loved
The Sea Calls me Home: The SFW version of Drago and Cecily (I mean how many times they actually shag hahahaha),and since I am going on a Magical Realism route so it may fit in.
Legends: Yes it is a novel in the progress but currently it is not my interest  now as I feel that I have too many knots to untangle. Funny enough it was my original concept for Nano before I got distracted by Icarcus.
The Heartstealer: Well I still like the idea a lot,so I will keep it for short prompts
To Varnish in the Stars
The Sleeping Prince Story
Roxana and the Magpie
Fox on the Run: I still want to try sci-fi genre and this one is more geared to my taste.
Endmiyon: Stange as it seems,I hate writing this genre but the story is nice as I like the journey aspect.
Stories I have to abandon LOL
Gawain
Battles
Pretty Vacant
The Chase of Death and Stars (It is a little similar to Wanderer)
Wanderer
Redhill 2035 (TBH I prefer writing Schooling and his adventures in Icarcus Universe and plus it is easier to translate if it is fantasy)
Dymphna and Morphine
Run
Almost Home
The Huijin and the Towkay
Drip to Dance
Ideas I am playing with
I am more interested to practice smaller casts after my experience doing If which is my favourite,so it may be like that.
Older and Wiser: Basically the Caramdo brothers from Icarcus Universe was translated into the Fates in Greek Mythology,so we have three gorgeous humans in here, which is Lance (FC: Rufus Sewell),Atticus (Peter Capaldi) and Claude (FC: Javier Bardem),so it is like Good Omens but in Greek Myths with Spanish Magic Realism
The Wolf and the Snow: Yes I may do that as the interactive story,as it was one of my pitched ideas, before I got distracted by To Slay a Dragon.
Followed: Sooo again my love of Japanese culture and a story I did for @wormwoodandhoney  is not too bad.
Rewritten (Western): So I am avoiding the usual Amercian setting and do it in Singapore during Raffles’ rule which fascinates me. I may base it on my story of my Tai Por immigrating to Singapore.
