So bloody excited to be invited to be part of the #YESMUM campaign by the mighty awesome @theyesmummum ✨ - she's asked a bunch of her fab #MumBoss friends to get involved to CELEBRATE + SUPPORT women balancing motherhood + their own business 🙌🏻 - I'm proud to say I'm most def one of those amazing women who juggle motherhood and business. My feed #TheMiniPost (obvs🙈) shows my family life. But what I don't talk very often about is the behind the scenes. At any one time I could be dealing with a unicorn deluded 5 year old as well as a power deluded client at a certain sneaker/trainer/ brand we all love or developing a global strategy for a global an iconic beauty brand whilst always fiddlin' around with some lovely type❤️ - Some days I have no idea how all the plates stay spinning. Actually I do! It's the people around me. They help, support and inspire me on a daily basis. They make me want to strive for more, and importantly make me feel empowered to do it. So today's card was very apt, and close to my heart. Thank you @theyesmummum one of the nicest campaigns I've been part of ❤️ (at Dublin, Ireland)

D E A D L Y ➕ R A P I D sum up how we feel about living in Dublin👏🏻 Every since we started on this journey we have had nothing but encouragement. Everyone has been incredibly helpful, generous with their time and welcomed us with such warmth and open arms that it's made the transition to our new life so so easy. People have done the most incredible things; whether taken time out of their day to just talk to me about houses, dog walkers, babysitters and just being so supportive. Helped us blow up balloons to make the house so lovely the first time K arrived🎈Picked up post. Helped us unpack boxes. Gave the low down on schools. Brought food, flowers, hugs. Invited us into their homes as 'strangers' as we'd only ever met on the Internet😂 Babysat so we could have a night out🍸 Discussed the intricacies of raising five year old girls at 2 in the morning. And the best yet - went to Woodies and bought me mouse traps yes we have a mouse in our house 👀🐭) and left them on my doorstep so as not to disturb bedtime routine. I mean only in Ireland☘We really are a country of incredibly wonderful people 💚 A Million Thank You's for making, what should be a stressful time, one of the happiest. Big love to you 🙌🏻 (at Dublin, Ireland)

Bring In Your Parents Day 👪 Love this campaign by @linkedin where they encourage companies to get employees to bring their PARENTS to work. Parents play such a vital role in getting us to where we are ✔️ #SchoolRuns #Homework and God knows whatever else they do all in the name of #Education getting us into our first jobs - then off we go and we suddenly don't need their advice as much. In fact some parents don't even really know what their kids do at work or understand their career. This is where #BIYP is brilliant as it gives parents the opportunity to spend the day, seeing what you do! My little girl has just started in Reception and I really hope #BIYP is still around when she is in her first job!!! It happens on November 5th so sign up your company or get your #Boss on the case.
