I took hundreds of pics, only like 20 looked decent, and these 7 were the best of those

I've never taken pics of lightning before so I basically just pointed at where it was striking and held down the repeating shutter release setting

like 90% of my shots were just regular dark cloudy sky

Yeah, tumblr can be a great place for that sort of thing. Helps immensely to get it out on here when shit gets too stressful as well.

I think that's one of the best things about having a blog, really. It's like a little slice of quiet where you can just put your thoughts or feelings without being interrupted or dealing with all the noise of your daily life.

And, given that I have five siblings and a dog, there's one heck of a lot of noise.
