SUCCULENT page styled like my STEREO blog theme.

I thought I'd share for anyone interested. This is my SUCCULENT theme just with a style inspired by my STEREO theme. This is not just a change of the CSS but the HTML is slightly altered, too.

You can get it on GitHub here. For information on how to use the filtering options check Metafizzy's Isotope or my help tag on filtering. For help with the spreadsheets check the instructions in the code, the original theme's post or my help tag.

Like SUCCULENT, this theme uses JavaScript, to be able to use themes with JavaScript, please reach out to Support to request it.

Oh my GOSH I haven’t played Flight Rising in years but your reblogs are making me feel like I should log back in again. I remember I used to run a hatchery and the dragon pairs were mostly gemstone themed. Ahhh I wonder how much has changed. Do you actively play FR? O:

I'm not sure when you last logged in so I can't say for sure what would be new to you, but there's been at least 4 new breeds in the last two years alone, a plethora of updates to the mechanics, a handful of new NPCs, sooooo many new genes and companions and apparel... etc!

The 11th year anniversary event is going on right now and has to do with the newest breed looking for the missing Tidelord. I'm not a huge fan of how the breed looks (think they could have gotten way more creative with it) but the event's been fun regardless. I'm mostly just there to scry and dress my dragons in fun little outfits lol.

Oh where to begin!

Can I just say that the best part (at least my personal favorite part) of going to any theme park or a themed resort is those first couple of minutes after walking through the entrance!!!

It’s like you just stepped through a portal into a place that’s DESIGNED to make you feel like you’re at the center of it all. And in those first couple of minutes you are filled with excitement and possibility because you are at the beginning!

Also I’ll add that I love that the purpose/ goal behind themed entertainment is literally to make people happy. Their is so much love put into the craft of designing these places and if you look close enough your always finding something new (especially learning about hidden details and inside jokes designers have implicated into the artworks I’m always excited to discover those!!!)

Every time I have the pleasure to going to one of these places I study everythingggg posters, the floor design, murals, architecture, signage (even the bathroom ones!), merchandise, themed food and drink options, the background music, characters, plant choices, water features, animatronics (no surprise there hehe), lighting, how they handle transitions into two differently themed zones, EVERYTHING!!!

The fact that these places are meant to be enjoyed in company. If I could I would take all of my beloved mutuals with me on a roadtrip to themed entertainment paradise :DDDD

🔮 What’s your dream job?

as a kid I wanted a super dramatic glamorous job like astronaut or pop singer or firefighter but as I've gotten older my dream job is like. being a librarian or working in a book shop. ideally there would be a coffee shop/cafe inside. we'd have a cat in the book area. plants everywhere. lots of windows and skylights. maybe one of those rolling ladders for no reason other than there being one (and also to roll around the room after its closed).

...longer than I'd care to admit...this blog is only a few years old (I made it at the beginning of my comics hyperfixation) but I had an old one for AGES before this (like. 5ish years) and I deactivated for personal reasons and took a break from tumblr before making this one. so all that to say that I've been on tumblr for collectively 8-9ish years lmao

Hi! I've been trying to add Magnus' Isotope Combo Filter to your Succulent for the past couple of weeks with zero success. I've reached out to other people who know coding better than I do (I'm a wee novice), and they said that the filtering built into Succulent won't work with Magnus's combo. I'm very confused. Any guidance would be most appreciated (@ angieshenanigans). Hope you have a good week!

Hi! It does work it just needs some extra steps 😅

I made a version with combo filters for my MIRROR IMAGES theme which uses the same set up as SUCCULENT. You can have a look here: https://github.com/n0nspace/tumblr-themes/blob/main/sheet%20pages/mirror-images/mirror-images-sheets-combofilters.js

The main thing is that the combo filter script needs to be places within the buildLayout() function. That's where you can find isotope as well.

Goooood morning, the SUCCULENT Kickstarter is LIVE! 🌵🪷🌵

I had an absolute blast co-editing this anthology of twelve sexy, trans-inclusive sapphic comics. @discordcomics and Ollie Hicks and I spent the last year working with an outstanding lineup of writers and artists to put this 200 page book together-- these comics are hot, humid, dirty and FUN.
